Good Lord, and there are people still blogging this catastrophe is no big deal, oil is part of nature...I've lived by the ocean most of my life and have to say never saw something like this...How would you like to own property there if this is no big deal? And I pray God saves His poor creatures from our ignorance and greed.

Spill baby Spill, how's that off shore oil drilling working for you now?

I do pray that the leaking will soon be stopped completely and may God bless those who are helping in the clean up.

This is why taking care of our natural resources is what Jesus would do, not waste them like there was no tomorrow. Maybe some good will come out of this and help remove the divide in this country caused by political bickering. If we all work together to move to clean energy we as a country will truly move into the 21st century.

Remember what we heard last year? "Obama has to realize that we are still a center-right nation. He's going to have to listen to conservatives." Yes, let's listen to conservatives on offshore drilling, Wall Street, financial reform, the deficit, Iraq, Sarah Palin, closeted gay Republicans, Katrina. If you've not had enough, let me relate something I've learned in my old age. Keep believing in bad ideas, and believe you me, another shoe will surely drop. If you think it's can't get any worse, just wait. As sure as I'm sitting here, we'll see another big Republican idea hit the toilet in due time.
