Nathan Brown, an assistant professor at UC Davis, tells msnbc's Thomas Roberts "the buck stops with the chancellor."

This all could have been handled much easier. They should have very simply taken individual photos of all the students involved in the protest, then they should have expelled every one of them. Let them then sit there and protest all they want.
The spray seemed pointless to me. Don't you spray someone so it is easier to cuff them and take them away? If the cops were going to pepper spray, they should have made arrests.
