Subscribe to RSSPORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - Port St. Lucie police are on the lookout for a group of teens vandalizing businesses.
The video was posed on YouTube.
Port St. Lucie police spokesman Tom Nichols confirms that at least one of the incidents in the video occurred in Port St. Lucie, but for now, they will not say which incident it is. Police don't know if the teens are local.
No criminal complaints have been filed with Port St. Lucie Police Department, according to Nichols.
The YouTube video shows several teenagers knocking items off store shelves.

In the five-minute video posted below, the teens are seen ransacking a Walmart store, a Target store, and a Sears store.
One aisle at a time, the teens knocked items such as paper plates, toilet paper and dog food off the shelves.
Bread once neatly stacked, was thrown on the floor.
They are also seen running through a mattress store, jumping on the beds, before being chased out by a store employee. The teens are also spotted skateboarding into a fountain outside a Friendly’s restaurant.
"What are they gaining by that you know, other than making somebody else's life hard?" says shopper Mark Cobb.
Not all shoppers at a local Port St. Lucie Walmart were disturbed, some found the incident funny.
"I wouldn't think it was that big of a deal unless I had to work in the store and clean it up," said Jason Wolfe.
The video also shows the teens at a local restaurant and other big box retailers where they skateboard their way into display piles.
Psychotherapist Fran Sherman watched the video, and while she cannot legally diagnose them based off the video, she says it's not healthy behavior and obvious the kids have no fear of being caught.
"They're really doing this without regard for society, rules or regulations," Sherman said.
"They're getting joy out of torturing people and things," she added.
Port St. Lucie police continue to look for the teenagers and say it's no laughing matter and criminal charges could be filed.

This is one of the many reasons that as I grow older, I have no worry about someone younger and more qualified coming along and taking my job. It does mean I'll have to work longer since my social security won't be able to be fully paid by this group while they're doing retail/fast food/service jobs, but I'll be safe for the next few decades.
Right on D-15etc lol... You and I and my neighbor next door can probly work into our 70s as our know-how, education, and value system will... as you point out... become increasingly priceless.
On a more serious note, they took that video themselves... now isn't that the arrogance of ignorance!
Let's hope that when Law Enforcement gathers them up (it should be easy) that they are detained, not given bail, in one of the creepiest of jails that county might have, and the lawyers insist on running personality disorder testing. Extensive.
I'd like to see this destructive element in their natures appearing to be combined with a form of ego-mania (could this be narcissistic personality disorder????) have results. Give them unattractive consequences. I am weary of the pat-them-on-their-pointed-little-heads scenarios enabling them for worse feats in the future.
And that should DEFINITELY include any who are minors. NO RELEASES ON BAIL. NO RELEASES TO PARENTS. Keep them walled up for a while. Give them a flavor of the real world.

What's so unusual? Over the last couple of decades, with massive media exposure to demonstrate it, adults have stepped up their disrespect for each other considerably, even to the point where one political party thinks nothing of calling the president of the country a liar during his state of the union address, showing not only total disrespect for him but the the office of the presidency as well. And there was no uproar and no repercussions, so it tacitly became acceptable.
So why shouldn't teenagers display their total disrespect? They're only emulating the new adult behavior.
You've said alot there. While I do not care for the man in the Oval Office, I still hold the office in high esteem. Unfortunately, we have glorified disrespectful behavior over the last generation or two. The sad thing is, when these teens get caught, they will not take responsibility for their actions. Just my dos pesos worth.

They do not even seem to get a great kick out of what they are doing. They will have to do somethng worse the next time. And then.... will it end at setting fire to people ? Seriously. They just seem to be bored and pampered and without awareness.
Out in the woods............. I would agree with you, they will be stepping up their antics, I will give them the smarter than average bear award... they are doing things with items that won't break. But.. if you noticed in the end it was a couple of breakables and then they run.
This reminds me of those kids that pushed the cart off the parking structure a few months back, this IS the norm then we are in trouble as a whole.
Where are these kids parents? The car they are driving in looked nice enough. Although I will say the one in the back seat is a wussy boy for calling the person a name and then rolling up the window. Ha.. all talk and did you happen to notice the hug the one gave the other at the water fountain.. these BOYS are going to be caught and what do you want to bet they will be privileged boys from urber wealthy parents. Never having to face any real trouble.
Sad sad thing....these kids should be tried as an adult and face the vandalisum charges that SHOULD not COULD come out of it!!!

Surprised? No it's Walmart. The only surprising thing is that the greeter let them in with their skate boards. It starts when parents don't make the little SOBS behave when they take them to the store shopping.
The only thing more moronic than their behavior is the fact that they videotaped it and posted it on the internet. Shouldn't be too hard to catch these morons, what with the boy sticking his head out the car window at the beginning of the video and the other boy calling his friend's name ("Nick"). Is it just me or does the kid sticking his head out of the car window look a little .... slow?
Criminal charges should be easy - I suspect at least one piece of merchandise was damaged, thereby permitting charges of vandalism or destruction of property or disturbing the peace. LMAO hope it was worth it, boys.

marcrod, I do not know whether you raised any children, but be assured this is not the way normal kids act. Your permissiveness contributes to such behaviour. Think about it. By not ciritcising it, you are encouraging them. That is how kids' minds work. i would have found it much funnier if they had shown themselves vandalizing eachother' s homes.
These kids didn't decide in one day to act this way. Does anyone believe that they act respectful at home. Where are the parents, that's most likely the problem, there are no parents, just single moms and dads too busy to mind the kids and this is what you end up with.
David, no need to beat down single parents. The great majority of them is doing a great jon raising their kids. And anyway, these teenagers are not too young to figure out what is right and what is wrong on their own. No excuses - they messed up and should face the music. It was disrepectful not only to the stores, but the entire community. We should try to hold on to a remnant of that.
Well it seem harmless until you really think about how dumb anyone is if they think this is alright its pretty much they are criminals and need to be thought a few things these kids are destroying private property. They have no respect I am sure there parents let them do what ever they want they should be responsiable as well.

I can't think of anything that a court could do to humiliate you more than you have already humiliated yourselves, your families and your schools. People who aren't humiliated by their terrible and humiliating behavior are particularly dangerous to allow on the streets, and you guys are somewhere in the middle of a road going toward a bad end.

AJV, I do not see these kids as aggressive. Did you see how quickly they left the mattress section when an employee came up to them ? They would run away if someone would try to catch them and drop their skateboards. But, as I said earlier, if they are not stopped now, they will get bolder and more destructive. That is the danger I see.
Honestly, I think what they did was awful. However, I don't know that much of what they did can be defined as "vandalism" in a court of law. Maybe the cardboard display and the bread, if they were damaged. It seemed like they took great care to avoid damaging the store property by choosing items that were soft or durable. I think YouTube should have taken the video down and forwarded it to authorities BEFORE it went viral and/or hit national news. Regardless of whether or not the teens face charges, more teens may start mimicking this behavior.
The video should not be taken down. People seem to forget that the internet is not supposed to be censored. And if we begin to allow censorship on the internet there is no limit to where that censorship will go.
They're idiots. But I also think people's response to this is also funny. I'm sure people did this years and years ago, they just didn't film it and no attention was brought to it, like most things in our society that are suddenly "rising"
Thank you. Thats pretty much exactly what i said. There is no way that most of the people here have never done something like this. They probably just didnt do as much, and didnt film it. But i would put money on the fact that 95% of the people bitching are being complete hypocrites.

What amazes me, considering the way our country/govt is going these days, is that they are not being classified as "domestic terrorists" and being indefinitely detained by the DHS. NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) bill for 2011, the end of the United States Constitution, LOOK IT UP!!!!

These types of kids have been attacking homeless people, vandalizing businesses, new homes in upscale housing development, and homes in their own middle and upper class communities and video taping it. I have said it so many times before..........I am so GLAD that I am on the downside of life so I do not have to share space on this planet with creatins like that!! I pity the up and coming generations..........I pity the planet. We have dummied down so far, where is there left to go? I see this kind of behavior and hear the lack of education and respect for one another - lack of a work ethic. No rules or boundaries. Really sad. I would be so ashamed if they were my kids.........I'd slap them in to Sunday............but then I raised kids at a time when there was respect to be had for one another.
My bet is a bunch of over-privileged - upper middle income punks whose parents will lawyer up and they'll walk away with a fine and a few hours of community service - what they need is a simple beat down.
