JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- A Missouri teenager who admitted stabbing, strangling and slitting the throat of a young neighbor girl wrote in her journal on the night of the killing that it was an "ahmazing" and "pretty enjoyable" experience — then headed off to church with a laugh.
The words written by Alyssa Bustamante were read aloud in court Monday as part of a sentencing hearing to determine whether she should get life in prison or something less for the October 2009 murder of her neighbor, 9-year-old Elizabeth Olten, in a small town west of Jefferson City.
Bustamante, 18, sat silently — occasionally glancing at those testifying about her, often looking down or to the side — as law enforcement officers, attorneys and forensics experts read aloud her inner most thoughts that she had recorded as a 15-year-old high school sophomore.
The most poignant part of Monday's testimony came when a handwriting expert described how he was able to see through the blue ink that Bustamante had used in an attempt to cover up her original journal entry on the night of Elizabeth's murder. He then read the entry aloud in court:
"I just f------ killed someone. I strangled them and slit their throat and stabbed them now they're dead. I don't know how to feel atm. It was ahmazing. As soon as you get over the "ohmygawd I can't do this" feeling, it's pretty enjoyable. I'm kinda nervous and shaky though right now. Kay, I gotta go to church now...lol."
The journal entry was presented to the judge not long after Elizabeth's mother and other relatives pleaded with Cole County Circuit Judge Pat Joyce to impose the maximum sentence. Bustamante pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and armed criminal action last month and faces at most a sentence of life in prison with a chance for parole. The least she could get is 10 years.
Elizabeth's mother, Patty Preiss, described her daughter as "happy, little girl," when she left her home about 5 p.m. after begging to go play with Bustamante's younger sister. Preiss said she told Elizabeth to be back for dinner at 6 p.m. but never saw her again.
"So much has been lost at the hands of this evil monster," Preiss tearfully said, with Bustamante sitting several feet away. "Elizabeth was given a death sentence and we were given a life sentence."
With Bustamante looking at her, Preiss said: "I hate her, I hate everything about her." The judge cut off her testimony when she described Bustamante as "not even human."
FBI agents seized the journal from Bustamante's bedroom during a search of her family's home the day after Elizabeth went missing as hundreds of volunteers scoured the rural area around St. Martin's.
Bustamante suggested to FBI and the Missouri State Highway Patrol officials that the girl had probably been kidnapped and that whoever had done so deserved to be convicted.
At one point, law enforcement officers discovered a hole in the ground in the shape of a shallow grave near Bustamante's home. They testified that Bustamante acknowledged digging it but said she just liked to dig holes. It was only later that Elizabeth's body was found concealed under leaves in another grave in the woods behind the Bustamante home.
At a hearing in 2009, Missouri State Highway Patrol Sgt. David Rice testified that the teenager told him "she wanted to know what it felt like" to kill someone.
Defense attorneys Monday highlighted Bustamante's troubled childhood as part of their argument about why she should receive leniency. They referred to numerous references in her journal in the two months before the murder, describing her suicidal feelings and the urge to hurt herself and others.
At one point Bustamante had written that she intended to burn down a house and kill all the occupants, but she never followed through with that. On Oct. 14, one week before Elizabeth's slaying, Bustamante had written that she was unable to use her cell phone because the charger had died, which meant she couldn't talk to anyone about the depression and rage she was feeling.
"If I don't talk about it, I bottle it up, and when I explode someone's going to die," she wrote in a journal that was read to the court by her defense attorney, Charlie Moreland.

Life in prison.
OK judge, I hope you're smart enough to realize that this girl should not be allowed out among the rest of society......ever!
Life in prison? F that. Hang her. See how ahmazing this bitch thinks it is then. Funny how when the shoe is on the other foot she wont think it is that ahmazing.
Yea, sometimes you have to recognize a sociopath and cut your loses.
If she wanted to know how it feels to kill someone..she should of done it to herself..you'll feel it better that way.
Give this trash..LIFE IN PRISON!
Capital punishment please...I don't want any chance of some politician, Democrat or Republican, pardoning this psychopath. I think it was the "lol" in that journey entry that worried me the most. There's absolutely no chance this type of person should be released out in society again, what's the point of letting her live?
Do not prolong the process and appeal, just let her go away quietly. We'll be a better society because of it. That or her defense lawyers don't appeal until they're comfortable leaving THEIR children with her.
And there are still some that say people can be rehabilitated and we shouldn't have a death penalty. It is just a simple fact that some people are f#cked in the head and will never be normal. Fry this psycho.
disturbing, to say the least.
the "it gets better" project, does not apply to this girl.
there are some people, who truly should just kill themselves and spare the world of their monstrosity.
and she should be their poster child.
Just another ACLU poster girl.
Why!!! If the POS can put a little girl through what she did, then she should have her frilling head taped/tied to watch the mom, eyelids taped open, and her mouth taped shut while the mother berates & chastises her.
Damn "judge," why the PC crap?
Julie - i think it was testimony, as in facts - not emotions.
But I agree, this monster should be required to hear what the people she hurt have to say.
Hopefully at sentencing that will happen.
here's hoping she isnt on suicide watch, and chooses to tie up some sheets.
Jessica it is not true testimony, but instead a victim impact statement. This is where the victims (her mother bing a survivor of homicide) gets to speak of how the murder affected her and how she feels.
Death sentence. Tomorrow, not in 30 years. We know without a doubt that she did it. There is no need to give her the chance for appeals.
There are people amonst us with such a dark and evil soul, they don't belong in society. When one does not know right from wrong, there is no correcting that.
I'm in the "get rid of her camp" but I can't help but feel for the killer's family. This girl is pretty messed up and yes, there are times when you need to cut your losses, but still, the human inside me does feel for her family.
If she did that to my daughter though, I would have no problem throwing the switch...
Any person (I don't care the age) that does a crime as atrocious as that, writes about how 'ahmazing' it is, and laughs that they can get away with it, doesn't deserve life in prison, they deserve a bullet to the head. I can't even imagine the pain the family of that poor 9 yr old girl went through when they heard the cold sadistic journal entry describing someones pleasure at killing their girl. Let that monster sit in prison to wait for her death, see if see gets a thrill from that.
Jonathan - Hang her? Why should she get the easy way out? Let her scumbag ass rot in prison for the next 70-80 years. And inmates LOVE people who commit crimes against children.
Life in Prison without the chance of parole...ever. Society needs to be protected from this extremely disturbed person who choose to allow evil to take over. Maybe she can allow criminologists to speak with her and try to discover how these monsters are created...that would be the only good I can see could ever possibly come from the rest of this person's life. God help any future children she may have if she were allowed out someday. The child she chose to murder should never be devalued by allowing this killer to return to a life in society...Elizabeth and her family deserve justice.
Life in prison? Hang her.
I'm just satisfied knowing she's not going to be around anymore.
REPLY: Given her own words, if this young sociopath is ever allowed to walk the streets again then the part of our system of justice which is supposed to protect the public, has failed.
Killing clearly brought pleasure to this young woman. She is probably going to be a threat to others in prison (prisoners and guards), for the rest of her life.
That's not a bad idea.
Life in prison.
Can we harvest her for any organs?
She is a sociopath and cannot be "rehabilitated." I'm one of those "liberals" the far right cries about so often. This girl should never see life outside of prison. She is not someone who can change.
How awful and how sad. Life in prison for sure. We need to study this woman to seek answers as to how and why a human being develops into this kind of monster. How? Why? Just think, if someone had read that diary when she was 15, she could have been helped and this tragedy may have been prevented.
This useless piece of trash has cost too much already. Unfortunately it cost too much money to keep such a horrid person on death row while going thru the appeals process. Stick her in a dark small room with the sound her diary playing over and over while offering her a bit of privacy and a short piece of rope or a place to tie a bed-sheet.
Give her the death penalty. Life in prison for what...so she can cost the tax payers more money?
This girl should be told that the public wants to see what she was talking about, how amazing it was to kill someone and that they would use her to find out. Of course this would only be to see her reaction and so she can see how ridiculous it is to think this way, then she can be put away for life.
Can we harvest her for any organs?
Careful what you wish for. Do yu really want the government to have the right to condemn someone so their organs can be harvested?
First 'death row' prisoners, then the homeless, then people on welfare, then ...?
@Megidolaon...Why let our tax dollars pay for her to have 3 meals a day, t.v. and a chance to walk among society ever again. Live in prison with a chance of parole....no thank you. Crazy people like that have a way of making people believe that they have changed and are better. Then they get out into the real world and kill again. This girl is 18 years old....Parole at 28. F--- That!!!
I can't believe that the court would consider 10 years, she should get life without parole, is what she needs. That little girl is dead because of what she did, so why should she be able to get out and walk the streets, WHAT TO DO IT AGAIN WHEN SHE FEEL LIKE IT!!NO NO LIFE.
Umfortunately she has been convicted on a charge of SECOND DEGREE MURDER that doe not allow for a death penalty punishment. She is a sociopath a mental disorder that will never be cured or even helped in any way. The Law books are where the Judge will find his answers, and God bless him he does give her the longest possible term allowed.
Her using shorthand acronyms like 'atm' and 'lol' in her handwriting creeps me right the heck out.
how could she think of sometime like that. maybe her parents is to blame for this i think they let her stay up at night watching horror movies.
Just do the same to her. Sorry but this bitch will burn in hell. If our lovely Govt. lets her out, we know what will happen. She should be killed too, and that wont waste tax payers money. There is no rehabillitaiton for this or any bible study that can cure this girls brain. I'm sure the mother knew that she was crazy long before this incident happend. My prayers go out to the family that has lost a precious life to a person that does not deserve to live. God have mercy on your soul bitch, but in this life, you have none anyway. You should be done the same way.
I think some people are just born broken. There's something missing from this young person's insides - whether it's compassion or humanity or whatever you want to call it. I think allowing doctors to study her might could possibly give them some future insight into what causes this.
Bystander007,
Unfortunately It cost far more to execute someone than it does to lock them up in a dark hole somewhere. This scum has cost too much in other way to justify spending a dime more than we have. If you could do away with the insane delays involved with executing trash, I am with you. I am not against the death penalty by no means, just the cost involved getting there.
she should get the death sentence. regardless of her so called troubled childhood, she is a stone cold socio-pathic killer beyond rehabilitation... no doubt about it. She murdered a 9 year old girl without one iota of remorse.
Rot in hell, you little B*tch!
Where is Dexter when you need him?
The fact that she was suffering from some sort of mental defect, depression or schizo, makes no difference...she killed that little girl and enjoyed it...she needs to be locked up forever...I cannot imagine that her parents, knowing that she is so volatile, would want her in their home...how could anyone sleep knowing that someone in their house was just ready to kill or burn the house. Ouch...put her in a woman's prison where she can become someone's gal pal and hopefully suffer the rest of her life
She will never get the death penalty since it was a second degree murder charge...she can either get 10 yrs or 25 yrs (Life) or anything inbetween. If her lawyers are good enough they might be able to spend her time in a psych hospital where she wouldn't be in any danger from the other inmates....she's clearly not normal and may get off from her sentence if her lawyers can persuade the court that she would be better served in a psych hospital than a prison....also she's 18 now but was 15 when this happened, I don't know if that would play into the sentencing now
I agree it should'nt cost so much, Bullets are cheap.
Personally, I wouldn't want her organs. The disease may have spread and is waiting to mutate the new host. :p
No pro-life sentence from me. The whack job deserves to have her throat slit. Can't help but wonder how "ahmazing" she would feel about that.
i was reading a story about a killer in Afghanistan.he was convicted, tied up and placed in a public stadium.the eldest family male was given an ak47.as the story went he had the option to free the man or exact vengeance.needless to say the first clip wasnt enough and he was handed a fresh magazine.the american author decried this barbarism.his Afghan host[an american educated doctor] pointed out how few murders they have in their country compared to america.her cavalier attitude came from knowing the consequence's of her actions.this isnt kid stuff and she knew exactly what she was doing.she a monster
Two words, solitary confinment. ! meal a day, no visitors, no freedom, ever. Then after about 10 years, shoot her in the head with a revolver.
Death penalty! It would be more of a deterrant if it wasn't for all the appeals and if within 3 years you get the shot!!! We really let people get away with murder here in this country, don't we?? She's put in prison, then there is always that chance of her escaping and going on a killing spree! I want a sicko like that OUT of society forever!
Bystander, Jungle Jim...
Why should the state (a compulsory government) be able to murder when it isn't direct self defense if you or I can't murder in delf defense? Our justice system isn't based on revenge...that's what lynch mobs were based on. Our justice system is based on either rehabilitation (which is NOT possible for sociopaths like this murdering girl), or recompense (which isn't possible when you take a life) and collective self defense of "society" (a collection of individuals with individual rights).
The death penalty is lynch mob revenge. Life in a deep dark hole (and I'm against these sickos getting cable TV and all the frills, btw) is collective self defense. Recompense may be impossible but should be attempted anyways. This girl should be subjected to har labor for the rest of her days and any profit from that labor should go first to pay for her incarceration, and second to the family of the victim. She should work in some Nike prison sweatshop for the rest of her life (with all proceeds donated by Nike to the girls family as a good PR move for the company). It could be any company, I'm just mentioning one for example's sake.
I don't want lynch mob "justice"...I want rehabilitation where possible, recompense and collective self defense otherwise. That's what the natural law dictates, that's what common law dictates, and that's what the original intent of our American court system dictates. When the death penalty was brought into it, all it did was muddy the waters and create legalized lynching. We had "hanging judges", public executions of innocent people (mass hangings at that), and people with a depraved sense of what "justice" was.
If it isn't right for you to kill a criminal who you have subdued completely (going beyond direct and justifiable self defense), then it's not right to let the state do it on your behalf, by proxy (cowardess).
And some folks go even further...and want to eliminate all our rights to appeal and human rights in order to have speedy executions with "a quick bullet behind the ear". This is how you devolve into a lynch mob. And when you do, don't bother calling it a "society" anymore, please.
The death penalty isn't an option. And with life in prison she will have to serve just a minimum of 10 years before becoming eligible for parole. Those 10 years, I hate to tell you all, also include the time already served, so it is entirely possible she will be out in 7 years plus. We will find out if the parole board and the psychologist assigned to her case conclude she can change, and pretty soon.
I'm very conservative, and personally I think people CAN change, but I'm also not inclined to risk anyone else's life to find out. I hope she never does change so she stays in prison until she dies.
how about we put her in a solitary confinement cell with Casey Anthony and whoever comes out gets life in prison?
Wouldn't let me edit it, so here's the edit:
Why should the state (a compulsory government) be able to murder when it isn't direct self defense if you or I can't murder unless in direct self defense?
REALLY??? Life in prison?? Why should we have to pay for her room and board? I whole heartedly believe that if we lived in a society where it was an eye for an eye, our crime rate would drop drastically... And as for appeals, you get ONE. And I'd vote Hell Yeah if asked. You killed someone? OK, you die the damn way. You raped someone? Bend over. You stole something? Be prepared to loose a couple digits. THATS HOW YOU REFORM CRIMINALS!!!
Life in prison without parole. She must never be allowed to be among people ever again. Keep her in a cage.
I have only read this article and nothing other than that. It truly saddens me to see most of your responses to the post. Do any of you even think for a moment "why" did she do this and where does it come from. Maybe something was done to her early on to make her be this way later. I understand what she did was unforgivable, unacceptable and what was done can not be undone. She was 15 at the time and with the way most children are brought up nowadays I can totally see why they act the way they do. As parents, disciplining your child is not as easy as it was before. Technology has taken over and we have become numb to what real feelings we should be having and expressing in a more healthy manner.
The appeals process is in place for a reason, to protect those wrongfully convicted/sentenced. I do not want this monster to ever walk the streets a free woman as I do not believe she can be rehabilitated. I believe the death penalty is no different that this little psychopath's act. WE are supposed to behave BETTER than criminals, legally sanctioned murders (the death penalty) makes US just as cold and evil.
TIGGLE. You feel sorry for the killer's parents? Really? 90% percent of these problems are created by POS parents that have no clue how to raise a kid. Throw them in there with her.
"Death sentence. Tomorrow, not in 30 years. We know without a doubt that she did it. There is no need to give her the chance for appeals."
How about today not tomorrow. And how about you do it by having the judge tell her she is going free and then walk her out and hang her.
Actually it has never been, nor will it ever be, a deterent.
Sociopaths commit crimes with no thought of being caught, and with NO regard for the rules. They by definition believe the rules don't apply to them.
The problem your statement and sentiment has is that it's assuming sociopaths think like you or I and respond rationally to increased penalties. They simply don't. They aren't deterable or curable.
2-4% of the population of the world (and U.S.) are sociopathic. These folks will never EVER care about the rules or penalties. We shouldn't take away everyone in the 96%'s rights to discourage the 4% who aren't going to be discouraged anyways.
It's the same reason gun laws don't work, as sociopaths will break those laws and use black market means to get guns and kill. It's the same reason only a small percentage of drug users become addicts. It's the same reason 6% of gamblers are addicts and 94% are not.
Some people are just wired wrong, and there is no curing them or reasoning with them with crazy increased penalties.
You won't get less theft, rape, or murder from most of the people who do those crimes even if you chop off their hands for stealing, castrate them for rape, and shoot them in the head two days or 20 years after conviction for murder.
All you succeed in doing is infringing on the unalienable rights of the other 96% of us who don't deserve to treated worse or like children because 4% can't handle it.
When a minority group (not race, obviously) can't handle something, punish them correctly and humanely...or you are the one who ceases to be correct and human, not them.
As Clint Eastwood said in Unforgiven:
"Deserve has got nothin' to do with it."
The fact they deserve so much worse doesn't mean we should sink to their animalistic level and give them so much worse. Otherwise we lose "society" and "civilization" and simply become animals just like them. Worse, we become cowards in the process...by using men in little fancy uniforms with badges to do our murdering for us, for hire, by proxy, with no real rational association to the murder we are in fact commiting for nothing more than petty revenge.
"Society" and "civilization" aren't based on vengeance...their based on rehabilitation where possible, otherwise recompense and collective self defense. You lose that, you lose society and civilization with it.
WoW! Whats wrong with this kid? Was this kid raised by wolfs? This society is really going down the tubes!
Actually it has never been, nor will it ever be, a deterent.

TRIED TO ERASE THIS DUPLICATE COMMENT, BUT IT WOULD NOT LET ME. Full of errors today newsvine!
@crazy cupcake, Really??? First of all no matter what happened to her when she was younger there is no excuse for this, second, she clearly states why she did it-to see what it felt like, and third, she liked it. When a person completely lacks compassion or empathy they are dead inside. They cannot be rehabilitated. She is amd always will be a threat to anyone near her, when-not if- she gets out she will kill again, that has been proven over and over again. Personally I dont think she is worth 1 childs death and should not be given the chance to take another. By the way, I never buy in to the excuse of "someone abused me as a child", simply because the majority of victims of abuse do not repeat the cycle.
The punishment for Alyssa Bustamante seems fairly obvious however it is not within the bounds of current American jurisprudence to have her slowly strangled, followed by being stabbed and having her throat slit. Little 9 year old Elizabeth Olten did not have a lawyer or judge restraining Bustamante at the time she needed the help and protection that she had always relied upon from her mom and dad which tragically left this little child to face the terrible reality of an impending brutal death, alone, in absolute terror and without even her favorite dolly or stuffed friend to cling too while a savage beast choked, sliced and cut the gift of life from her small body.
So now we are debating what is justice. Since we can not take her life as is demanded by our darker sides, we must insist that this beast be locked away from us for the remainder of her miserable life with a hope that prison justice will satisfy our blood-lust or that her demons will drive her to suicide before she is able to settle into a routine of institutionalism and appreciate a single breath of life. May her soul burn in hell for eternity and absent hell may any sentient awakenings that she might have in any afterlife be cursed with pain, suffering, fear and loathing.
This girl is the devil for sure. We are talking about two people here. Nobody kills someone goes home writes in their journel then goes off to church.. Nobody in their right mind acts like that!! I think one day this girl will finally realize what she did and either go crazy or kill herself. Life!!! to live with the guilt day after day
Do any of you remember the movie "The Bad Seed"? This is exactly what I thought when I read this article
I remember reading about Chromosone Abnormality - it can occur and is found in Downs Syndrome and also in Criminal Minds - this young girl is certainly defective and what to do? Incurable - mental institution or prison take your pick - for life.....

It is called the Death "penalty" this is what happens if you take an innocent life. Let me repeat...INNOCENT LIFE.
If you right a bad check you get charged a fee.
If you get caught speeding while driving, depending how fast you are going, you are fined accordingly
If you a late paying a bill, You receive a late penalty. This scumbag was born after the death penalty was put into law, It should come as no surprise to her or anyone else, the Death Penalty is the fee you are charged for taking a innocent life.
This girl gave up ALL of her rights when she took a NINE YEAR OLD'S LIFE. I have a big problem with the death penalty. Big Time. It take too darn long and cost too much.
We are not taking away the rights of anybody that is not killing anybody else.
I wanted to add something Maybe while she is in her cell every day show her pictures of the crime scene. Also hang a picture on her ceiling of the Mother of the child she killed crying
I believe her younger sister is very lucky... She could've been dead a while ago.
This girl is a sociopath, and does not deserve to see the light of day ever again. As far as I am concerned, put her away for good. This "girl" (and I use the term loosely!) creeps the hell outta me!
All of the people screeching for the death penalty. Guess what? You are just like her. You can't wait to get some blood on your hands.
Amen. Though I do support the death penalty, but not because I believe in an "eye for an eye" but rather to simply avoid wasting resources on those who can't change and/or refuse to give back to society. (i.e. the "2-4%"). However for those willing to change or their is hope for, I believe in rehibilitation.

Seriously??
A lot of folks are comparing the cost of keeping someone in prison for life, as opposed to the cost of an execution. Keeping someone in prison for life: 18 year old - life expectancy ( normal) , female - 84 years. = 66 years in prison. At 40k per year, total( without medical) $2,640,000.00. Actual cost of an execution ( without appeals, lawyers, Judges, and all other fees, and costs), about $10,000.00. Curious to me is that someone must make sure the needle to be used for injecting the lethal drug is sterile. Why? You gonna kill them. Now, if she develops medical conditions ( physical), the cost could go up a few hundred thousand or more, possibly into the millions.
Hmmm... In this case, 60 years without any early release should be a good sentence, followed by 20 years of probation and rehabilitation. That should keep her out of trouble...if she lives that long.
Wow, I'm having a hard time dealing with the fact that there are so many ignorant people responding to this story. This young girl is, as all of us are, indicators of the state of the world around us. If a person commits a crime, they are merely a sign of imbalance. The girl is a victim an insensitive world where humans, namely young female are preyed upon my capitalistic scheming and left with little to no care. She probably had no outlet for her emotions, a poor education, and maybe even was bullied into a rage. She is not an adult capable of understanding her emotions but a child in the hands of OUR society that we let fall into violence. The fact is that society let this happen.
Before you feel negatively toward this girl, look at yourself. Are you giving your children/siblings/neighborhood kids the human contact and care they need? Or are you leaving them to learn from the violent entertainment media that is seemingly the only semblance of human contact they have?
This is one sick kid! I hope she gets some professional help soon!
costs too much money to execute the biatch
Unfortunately, She was a Minor When she committed the Murder. There is no death penalty for minors in the USA. Life in Prison should be her punishment.
I just love how she went to church afterward.
Congratulations, organized religion. This is your poster child.
frontal lobotomy and turn her back onto the streets
I want those who feel that her brain isn't developed and the fact that we are wrong to judge her because girls don't do this crowd to pay very close attention to this girl who wanted to do this. She knew better and didn't care. This girl is a sociopath. I didn't feel sorry for her then and I don't now. Yes, kids are capable of this as well as adults. I feel sorry for the victim and her family.
LauraMM, America has taught our children something! TO BE CRIMINALS! Remember the cheerleaders in Florida who Dr. Phil got of jail because they beat a girl? Well everyone felt sorry for them and completely forgot about the REAL VICTIM! Incidents similar to that story has taught our children to harm people and you will get away from it! it's not mine or your responsibility to take care of another's child but it's the legal system's responsibiity to set an example for these kids and it's called punishment! Parents need to make their children a part of their life and talk to them instead of worry about themselves! They need to stop slapping people of all ages on the wrist! If you kill someone, then you should immediately die too instead of living in a prison with free cable, internet access, and food. What does a dead person have? They don't get to enjoy anything on earth because the criminal took it all! LauraMM, this 15 year old killer has made her choice to do wrong and you can't blame anyone not even the parents! She did this to herself! I say execute her after being found guilty! I don't have any sympathy for her. Have sympathy for the dead girl. I'm sorry LauraMM, you are the ignorant person! Disgusting you are!!
What to do with this person ... I would think she would be some sort of threat to the inmates and gaurds in a prison. She could convince some weak mind inside the prison to muder for her. The only solution would be solitary confinement and make her submit to tests of her mind. And it should be ordered that the mother or persons that raised this child to take the same tests. Surely someone knew she was so unstable. If they did know, then they too should be punished. The only good that could come out of this horrible person to stay alive is to get some sort of profile of what a monster is and educate parents.
Disagree Patti, like I said before...The only person to blame is herself. Nobody encouraged her to do anything and she probably didn't have a bad example. She wanted to be this way.
It is amazing that more and more girls are turning more violent. It is our society and how they have been brought up. Watch all the crap on TV and with 50% divorce and everything a young female has to go through no wonder they are as F#%ked up as they are. Rapes, molestations, and our unjustice system does not work sometimes.
Personally abortion would have been a better choice for this young girl and now maybe abort after birth. Too bad we could not look into the future and know who is going to be a killer or not.
I don't see any reason to waste taxpayer money on allowing this girl to spend the next 60 or 70 years in prison. If prisoners were treated like they were in the 20's and 30's, chain gangs, oatmeal, sandwiches and some vegetables in the evenings; no tv;, no college, etc., then, it might be worth it, but otherwise, you will not rehabilitate this person, so there will be no good gained for society by allowing her to live. Why should she be allowed to live, even in prison, for 60 years, when she didn't allow this 9 year old a chance to live?
What happens in 10 years if they let her out and her cellphone stops working, will she wander down to the city park and start killing people? or establish a little den of horror in her basement, she will never be worth a thing to society, study her why they have been studying those people for the past century it dose no good! execute her she does not deserve to live. for the other 4% like her they should get the same deal. its proper to purge society of these rejects when they show their colors. not house them, remove them! she wants to kill herself help her to succeed, there will be another to take her place some people say, and its endless, if we kill them then we are just as bad(?) execute them as well! that little girl she murdered deserved to live, she is 18 Executeher. and be quick about it. let her live and you are just killing another Innocent person, her next victim. another inmate? a guard? she will kill again. if she escapes it could be a vengeful rampage, her lawyer, the judge, the rest of that family, her doctors, its endless. get rid of her. people like this do not reforme, they just keep getting sicker, Ill bet she has a above average IQ. and can play people for fools.
How is it that parents resume responsibility for their children until they are 18 but these parents aren't even held at some fault? Sure she has to do the time, but shouldn't we as the human class try to learn from the ordeal? Mental health has become a problem. And so should be dealt with.
How very sad for the family of the murdered child. My heart goes out to them. As for the young lady who committed the crime, well some youngsters are beyond hope, beyond repair, and I feel that she is one of them. In order to protect society from this young lady they need to, at the very minimum, lock her up for the rest of her life. She definitely has no conscience and will be dangerous until her dying day.
Old fashioned Texas justice--- hang 'er high. The death penalty is too good for her!
If you want to gain some understanding about why people do as this girl did read about Richard Kuklinski (aka Ice Man). He was a classic example of a sociopath- much like this young monster.
@BikerBoy you are right its abortion after the fact, maybe execution is better described as paying your dues on earth rather then in the afterlife, perhaps it is the better deal.
She needs to be treated by a psychologist or sent to mental assylum!
Aww, man, she lives in Missouri. Emperor Perry would take the oppurtunity for a death penalty in a heartbeat.
Death penalty is too good, if you ask me. I mean, let's face it. She's a monster. Age be damned, teenagers, just as much as any adult (and in some disturbing cases, even a child could) are as capable of inexcusable evil. Evil, that cannot be forgiven.
It's one thing for someone young to shed blood. We're all capable of it, no matter what the reason is. Even heat of the moment, an absolutely horrid excuse that in itself deserves incredible punishments, can feel regret and horror over what they did.
But, this little fine piece of humanity has no remorse. Any normal, half-descent person that did this in the heat of the moment would be horrified. Disgusted with themselves. Turn themselves in and admit to what they did.
They don't go to their diaries and write down it was ahmazing and a loltastic experience. She's just like that one girl from Canada, that 12 year old that helped murder her own family.
She is a little brat out of hell, and she deserves a punishment befitting hell. Life in prison. No parole. Maximum isolation. Even in the worst of prisons, they're surely some people who have a chance to redeem. Someone like this though, extra precautions should be made. She should live in total isolation, so the only thing she can do for the rest of her life unless she choses to take it herself is to contemplate. Contemplate what she's done.... forever.
Only someone who shows genuine regret and remorse deserves forgivness. She does not.
Well, for all those crying for the death penalty, that isn't even on the table, since the girl was 15 at the time of the murder.
I am a conservative liberal, interpret that how you like. Truth is, this girl will not change. She will not have an epiphany and she will not come to find "God." There are people who are born broken and born without the mental switches that say, "bad idea." I hate to say this, but, I am torn. I don't think the tax payers should be saddled with the kind of care this girl will need while in prison. Killing her seems like a fair solution and justified. So why the being torn? Because I also think that this poor girl will never be right, never fit into society, and will always be a threat of harm against herself and others. Killing her would be the kind thing to do.
A bad seed is a bad seed. Won't get any better.
Actually, I am for the death penalty on this one. If she got her jollies killing someone just thank how ecstatic she would be to experience death for herself.
Send her to prison; someone there will figure out a way to hang her up and slowly bleed her guts out in the dark of the night. She can enjoy the 'ahmazing' feeling of having her life slowly drain out of her demented, solless body.
Doubter222
Wow, do we have a little dark side to us too?
How many times does it have to be explained...there is no death penalty in this case.....either 10 yrs or 25 yrs (Life).....how hard is it to understand? you might want that but it ain't gonna happen.
I cant imagine what either one of these families are going thru but I am with you. There is some honor among theives and this girl will not last in prison. She will either get killed or kill herself. So so sad.
That's your quote Anubis. How many times does it have to be explained to you? The Supreme Court ABOLISHED the death penalty for children 15 and under in 1988.
First degree, second degree, four-hundred and thirty-fourth degree.... it makes no difference. ABOLISHED said the Supreme Court.
Then in 2005, the conservative Supreme Court upped the anty and ABOLISHED the death penalty for 16 and 17 year olds. So it's not a "liberal" thing either.
she appears to be the female equivalent to Charles Manson. Let the general population deal with her. they will
Unfortunately, life in prison is the only answer. She took so much from another family. I'm not sure a sickness like hers can ever be cured, and she should never be allowed out again in any community.
She can't be cured. She's a sociopath. There are no meds for that.
l o b o t o m y
Life in prison is a just response to this crime. She is a sociopath with no redeeming qualities.
Unfortunately, she is ineligible for execution.
Fortunately, we live in a society that has deemed 15 year olds ineligible for execution.
It's what separates US from the "Irans" of the world.
Harold - im not so sure that's entirely a good thing.
We seem to have concluded, 15 year olds are as dumb as 2 year olds or something?
Surely, we can conclude a 15 year old knows right from wrong, and can understand that killing another human is wrong, right?
What seperates us from the Irans of the world - is a judicial process that allows the accused to be convicted on evidence (and sometimes not convicted because of a lack of evidence, which isnt the same thing as being innocent).
Give this girl a fair trial, and then...if found guilty...snuff her light out.
I cant see any reason to keep her alive and breathing, on the tax payers dime...for another 60 + years...not even to make sure we "arent like iran".
This girl deserves to die, 15 years KNOW RIGHT FROM WRONG. Sorry this girl should die and since I know that will not happen, make it Life.
Jessica... I'm sure it's a great thing and it's DEFINITELY what sets us apart from the barbarians of this world like the Iranian government (note, I said government, not the Iranian people).
You are correct in understanding what separates us from the Iranian government is our judicial process. The U.S. Supreme Court WAS CORRECT in deciding in a 1988 ruling that ABOLISHES the death penalty for 15 year olds and younger. Then in 2005, the U.S. Supreme Court was once again CORRECT in ABOLISHING the death penalty for 16 and 17 year olds.
So the United States judicial process has reviewed this (twice) and in my opinion got it RIGHT. Their decision separates US from the Irans of the world, and regretably, Americans like you who would kill a 15 year old girl.
She's a freakin kid. Put your blood lust aside and try to realize that. I don't want her set free, but a society that thinks it's acceptable to kill a 15 year old is DEPRAVED. God Bless the United States Supreme Court for understanding that... twice.
NO purpose would be served by execution. Quite the contrary, the notion that people should be numb to – or even worse, happily in favor of – the horror of killing others only makes murder MORE likely and MORE acceptable in general.
As a society, we need to celebrate LIFE, not DEATH.
Life in prison adequately protects society from this monster, and allows her the opportunity to reform; not so she can be released, but so that she can repent.
I'm not defending this little monster but a childs (into their mid-20's) brain is different from an adult brain. They have a hard time looking at a picture of a human face an associating the emotion the person in the picture is showing. Most of us would recognize the emotion immediately but children struggle with this task
any trained doctor will tell you that the brains of children and adolescents are still developing. There is always the chance that a change can be made in the direction a youth's brain is taking IF there is good mental help available. The solution, IMHO, for this case is to lock this child up in a mental health facility and see what can be done to turn her around. If she is able to truly feel remorse for this tragedy she should then serve prison time. Killing her like a rabid dog is simply barbaric. She's not Jeffrey Dahmer or Ted Bundy...YET!!!!!!!!
Harold of the Rocks- Wow. You really believe that no 15, 16, or 17-year should be executed? You seriously believe that? That just because they are under 18, that they should not be held accountable for their actions? This girl 150% knew what she was doing! She ENJOYED killing this 9-year old girl. She knew that and got pleasure out of it, then pretended to be a good little church girl! What is wrong with sentencing her to death? It's less of my current and future tax dollars wasted on this twisted, morbid and disgusting excuse for a human. And I'm sorry, just because she didn't have the best upbringing does not mean she should be "excused" of the seriousness of her cold-blooded crimes. No one has a perfect upbringing!
This girl deserves the death penalty. And if they won't give that, then life without the chance of parole.
Stuck,
I'll go one step further.
NO ONE should be deliberately executed unless there is no other way to protect society.
Human life is precious.
It makes us callous to the 'sanctity' of human life. Even if you are not religious, you shuld have some compunction against needlessly taking a human life. The murderer sounds horrible. You don't sound quite as bad, but the two of you seem to share a desire to have other humans die.
Exactly how many of YOUR future tax dollars are going to be spent on meals for this murderer? A penny? If she lives 60 years, and it takes $50,000 per year to feed her, your share from among all other Americans amounts to a little less than a penny. (You can stay a year at a weekly rate motel and buy all your meals at McDonalds's for a lot less than $50,000 a year.)
We should kill her to save you a penny?
That's sick.
All of you brain trusts: She is 18. She wrote the diary in 2009 when she was 15 and killed the little girl. So quick to jump on the band wagon when you don't even have the facts straight. This is why capital punishment is banned in all but the most backward States. Too much blood lust kills too many innocents.
Not only do I "seriously believe that" but the Supreme Court looked at this (twice) and came to the same conclusion. In 2005, the conservative George Bush appointed Supreme Court decided that executing 16 and 17 year olds was WRONG and abolished the practice. So it's not just me, and it's not just "liberals". Abolishing the execution of children is an answer that very smart people who have studied the law their entire lives and made it to the Supreme Court came up with. Who am I to argue their expertise and years of experience?
Of COURSE she should be held accountable for her actions, just not EXECUTED. Put her in prison for the rest of her life.
No. This girl was 15 years old. She wasn't even old enough to drive. Yes, a 15 year old knows right from wrong but a 15 year old brain is not fully developed and can't be compared to an adult. Nor should it be held to the same standard.
She's was a kid when it happened. A child of 15. The North Koreans and the Iranians kill children. We are a civilized society. What is wrong with sentencing her to life in prison? Every study out there shows it's far cheaper than all the appeals associated with the death penalty.
No need to apologize. I agree 100%. She should not be "excused" from her crime, nor should she be executed for it either.
@commonsense....
Well said commonsense...I appreciate your explanations in your comments. I do understand the anger that brings some to want sociopaths who commit horrendous crimes sentenced to murder...it is human nature, as we are so horrified that a human being can do such evil things that we somehow think killing them will diminish or eliminate that evil, but as you point out, not only will it fail to eliminate such evil acts in the world, but it only brings us to share a part of their will to destroy life. Also, it is my understanding that it is actually cheaper for taxpayers to keep a murderer confined to life in prison than to complete the lengthy appeals process that plays out for those on death row, so those who justify the death penalty on a financial basis are misled. And finally, not in this case, but in some, there is the chance that the wrong person is convicted of a crime. Much harder to try to remedy that later if they have been executed. Even wrongly killing just one wrongly convicted, innocent person would make us no better than murderers.
Who would do that? I mean im only 13 and I think thats just plain out crazy!!!!! She deserves life in prison so she cant do this again. DID THEY EVEN SEE WHAT WAS WROTE IN HER JOURNAL!!!!! To me its life in jail!!!!
repetitive electroshock treatment
Well society and the legal system can overlook what this nasty 15 year old has done but that will be a reason for a parent to take matters into their own hands. If you can't get anyone to help you then help yourself. Money shouldn't be the issue. You people care too much about money! Next time a child comes up dead, you can pay for the funeral costs and the lifetime of pain and sorrow that the family experiences of loosing their child!
Deserves the death penalty, frankly. And why did the judge cut off the statement by the victim's mother ? didn't want to hurt the defendants feelings ?
Lunch break.
Save our tax money. Execute the little killer. Tell her it will be "ahmazing" and "enjoyable" before it's done...
1. Executions cost more than life imprisonment.
2. Money should not be the motivating factor in extinguishing human life.
The purpose of trying murderers is to protect society (letting them run loose would also cost less money than investigating, trying, and killing them). In this case, society can be protecte just fine with life imprisonment.
Personally I don't really care either way. I'm not screaming "death sentence!" but I certainly wouldn't be heartbroken if this is what she got (which she won't). As long as she is never allowed back in society is good enough for me. But is it really true that execution costs more than life imprisonment? I've never heard that before. It seems hard to believe, especially given how young this girl is and how long she might live. Do you know of any articles/facts that back up that statement? Just genuinely curious...Thanks.
commonsense....
Apparently money was NOT the motivating factor in this murder, It was for the thrill! I think the Supreme court was wrong in this case, There are always exceptions to everything. the death penalty should be allowed in cases where someone confesses and or has no remorse. No lengthy appeals
The only reason the death penalty cost more then life in prison is because its wrapped up in bureaucracy. Fix that and you fix the cost effieciency of the death penalty. As for your second point I agree. Dont kill her because it's cheaper. Kill her because if for some reason she were ever to escape or get out of prison (which she will if she only gets 25 years) she would clearly do this again (she shows the signs of a serial killer). Or even in Prison she could murder people who could be rehabilitated and lead productive lives.
Death row. his is not someone who can be rehabbed, no should she ever be released. Thus, we should put an end to it now. Her 'troubled childhood" doesn't negate the fact that she knew what she was doing was just plain wrong. Two families ruined in this. Her younger sister now lives with the idea she could become like the monster that killed her friend. Both sets of parents irreparably damaged.
Now that she knows what it is like to kill someone, she should learn about what it is like to die painfully.
William J B, I agree 100%. So many people are feeling sorry for this POS. Why? She killed a 9yr old in COLD BLOOD, people! She shoulgo to jail fo' evahhh. I'm sick of people thinking we should even enter tain rehab for her, and the God thing is even worse. Rot in jail, bitch!
Do you see rabid animals being rehabbed and released back into civilization? No. They are put down because they cannot be cured and are a detriment to society. Sociopathic disorder is the human version of rabies. Sociopaths cannot be treated. No psychiatrist, psychologist or counselor/therapist will touch anyone with this affliction. It only helps them hone their skills at hiding the evil and lulling innocent people into a death trap. If you can't sentence this woman to death at least lock her up for good and never let her out no matter how well she behaves in prison. Take this threat to the general population seriously!
Nice people in Missouri.
Is she hot?
It will be a miscarriage of justice if she doesn't get life in prison with no chance of parole. Too bad she can't be given the death sentence so she can experience how "ahmazing" death is for herself.
Oh Bustamante, if only you ended yourself in your fits of anger instead of a little girl. Don't blame depression. I've been depressed 12 years and I don't do those sick things. I hope your inmates test their "urges" out on you in prision the rest of your life. At least your were dumb enough to not cover up your tracks. What shame and fear your family must feel...
What a sick and twisted brat with no conscience or regard for life - hers or anyonelses. If it were up to me, she would get the death penalty.
This subhuman monster is a cold blooded sociopath. If she doesn't get the death penalty then she deserves life in prison. Let her rot in prison where she gets raped and beaten daily and has to spend the rest of her miserable and hopefully short life thinking about the misery she caused others. If she had killed my daughter I would kill her myself.
I've always told my wife, if someone killed one of my girls I would cut both of their hands off. Death row would be great, but in the mean time let them never touch anything again.
Oh, how sickening. They need to keep her in a cage for the rest of her life. Too bad the taxpayers will have to support her. Too bad she didn't kill herself.
The SCOTUS doesn't allow the death penalty when the killer was under 18 at the time of the crimes.
I'm just happy that she was caught early before she could become a serial killer.
Since the death penalty isn't on the table because of her age, I agree, life in prison. There is nothing to be done to "fix" this horrid little sociopath. My heart goes out to the family of the helpless little girl who lost her life to this beast.
I agree JS. We don't want some liberal butthead telling us she has been magically cured in 10 years and letting her out to do this again.
Oh, come on, TXHorseman, lay off the over generalizing of liberals! I'm a lib for the most part and I don't think she should EVER be let out of prison. Like JS said, "There is nothing to be done to "fix" this horrid little sociopath." I also believe in the death penalty for that matter, though it can't be applied in this case because of her age. While many death penalty opponents believe that it isn't a deterrent because sociopaths think that rules and laws don't apply to them....in a case such as this (IF she were over the age of 18) where you KNOW 100% for sure you have the person who committed the crime, the death penalty most certainly IS a deterrent because when you execute the guilty person....it deters that person from ever committing ANY crime ever again.
How dare this judge cut off a grieving mother's testimony for calling the person who murdered her child "not even human"? Was he worried that the "depressed" and "suicidal" teen would have her feelings hurt?
I don't think so. The mother was probably becoming angry, very emotional and loud. These hearings sometimes get out of control. It is still a court of law. There has to be order. Judges do stop victim impact statements at times when the family starts screaming and it looks like the situation will get out of hand.
On the one hand if she were executed she wouldn't feel anything. On the other hand, life in prison she has an entire lifetime to look forward to regretting. I don't know if its true or not, but I've always heard that even hardened inmates despise child killers. Hopefully that is true.
They will have to keep her in "solitary", for her own protection (too bad). In men's prison they will be out for your blood. In women's prison it will be 10x worse, many of them are mothers themselves.
That's just the thing about sociopaths. They don't feel remorse about anything they do. In their twisted minds they are totally justified in what they do. They don't regret anything. Not even being caught red-handed. A lifetime in prison will not mean anything to this woman no matter what the other inmates may do to her. If they kill her in prison, she will die thinking she did nothing wrong.
c'mon, everybody...we know how this will play out....several years in prison....overcrowding....court ordered prisoner release (on humanitarian grounds, of course).....parole board....sweet young woman....released....young girl killed....community outrage....nobody responsible....
Start feeling sad for her next victim....for there surely will be one (or more).....
How did that work out for Karla Faye Tucker? Karla had Billy Graham begging George Bush to commute her sentence to life in prison. Karla was completely remorseful and repentant, to the point where old Billy went to bat for her. How did that work out for Karla?
What you propose is fantasy. Murderers don't get out for overcrowding, they get out for doing a good job shining the Mississippi governor's shoes. How did that work out for Haley Barbour?
I know then everyone will cry about how why wasn't something done back when they had her in prision the first time!? so sick!
"..then headed off to church with a laugh"
Why is it that the most immoral are the ones that scream the loudest about morality?
So you automagically associate church going with morality? Where does this kind of thinking come from? What would give you any idea that this person ever cared about morality let alone was the one who "scream[ed] the loudest"?
where did it say that the girl was screaming about morality? nice try.
Are you trying to tell me that the religious right (yes, church-goers) aren't the ones claiming to be morally superior? Are you REALLY going to try that?
Get real.
I can make MANY correct assumptions about people that go to church, and probably the biggest is the claim of moral superiority.
Cant Roll banned, rereg of SirTrollington.
Not only did she destroy the life of this child, she also destroyed a major part of the child's family. They will never be able to go back to that "safety" of home again. (The judge probably shut the mom down on her statement because if this offender is considered subhuman, she would not be eligible for "human" penalties. It's probably a "legaleeze" sort of thing. However, the mom was right.)
Then, Bustamante destroyed her own family. They will NEVER be able to live this down. They will be pointed at and accused all the rest of their lives, too.
I can't imagine what kinds of a minds think these things up; however, from the news, there appears to be an overabundance of them coming to the front. Let us hope that Bustamante never sees the light of day again. Throw away the key.
She was under 18 at the time so the US Supreme Court says she cannot be held responsible for what he did. Let her go and don't waste any taxpayer money on her.
In fact, let her go where some of the Supreme Court's grand daughters live. If murder is good enough for everybody else, it should be OK for them too.
They do allow juveniles to be tried as adults, although how that fits under the law I don't know.
She deserves the death penalty or life in prison with no parole.
Incorrect. The Supreme Court says she can't be EXECUTED for her crime.
She'll be in a maximum security prison for her entire life. It's possible that one of the Justice's grand daughters will live in the same town as the prison. Should that bother a Supreme Court judge? I don't think so... it doesn't bother me. If I lived in a town with a max security prison, I'd fall asleep at night just fine knowing she resides there.
Too bad isn't black, they would execute her for sure, but since she's not she'll have a chance at a normally life. Typical.
At age 15?
What is wrong with you?
@ Commonsense
Cant Roll has posted that a couple of times. It keeps getting shut down ... for no value I'm guessing. Just a troll. (If you are not familiar with the term, a "troll" is simply somebody "trolling" the boards looking to start a fight or get people upset. Ignore him/her...it's the best thing you can do.
Im sorry but if someone is that cold blooded regardless of age they should get life in prison no question about it. She lacks the mental ability to feel empathy for other peoples suffering.. if set free she would become a serial killer because as she said she enjoyed it.
To be fair she's eighteen now.
And no she isnt hot. Quite the opposite really.
This psychopath has been free to kill for three years since she killed the little girl. how can this be? 3 years to read a diary? The cops will immediately bust your head open (or worse) if you legally demonstrate against our unfair society, yet take 3 years to arrest a murderer that they already have the evidence for?
I'm all for "death by a thousand cuts" on this piece of garbage. We should dump her in a pit full of razor blades. If she can climb out, maybe we'll let her go... but probably just kick her back in.
Why do heinous acts seem to attract those who think even more heinous acts make sense . . ?
THANK YOU PATRICK!!
Only the depraved think that MORE depravity is the answer to depravity.
@patrick: The justice system fails miserably. Everything is considered "cruel and unusual" that would ever serve to truly punish criminals.
The greatest punishment I've ever thought about is called, "erasure." You strip them of their ID completely. Revoke their SS number. Strike them from the public record. All evidence they've existed e.g. family photos, etc, must be destroyed. Make it penalizable by law for their friends/family to associate with them. Their only form of ID allowed is a card stating the have been "erased." Let them see what life is like outside of society, when they have clearly rejected the laws in place to facilitate society.
The "death by a thousand cuts" remark was rather extreme, yes, but sometimes I get enraged when reading stories, because I know this criminal will serve a few years, maybe, get the mandatory slap on the wrist, and be out there in the public again. Punishment rarely fits the crime. I can only wonder if the victim's family will ever feel justice has been served, knowing the victim likely endured an indescribable hell before dying.
Pure evil. I don't care what kind of troubled childhood she had, this is a classic no brainer. Give her the tools to kill herself. She might find it "ahmazing."
Okay, really guys?
Depression sucks, like massive balls sucks. It is really hard to deal with and I can see how this girl was/is feeling. All of you f*** heads need to get it in your brains that killing someone is not the answer. When someone hurts someone else, hurting them does nothing to help solve the problem. Really. Just try to be simpathetic....death sentence for one bad choice is not right.
At 15 you DO know right from wrong and she could've reached out to a school counselor or her priest about her depression and violent tendencies but she didn't so she needs to spend the rest of her life in prison WITHOUT the possibility of parole! She will kill again because as she said in her own words, it's "amazing and enjoyable". We all endure things in our childhood that are unpleasant but we don't all go on killing sprees either and then blame our horrible childhood for our actions!
She deserves the death penalty but I think that would be too good for her. Lock her up for life with the worst cellmate imaginable, then turn a blind eye to the daily abuse she receives (additional commissary privilages for any inmate that makes her cry for over 5 hours straight). I'd be willing to spend my tax dollars knowing that she is suffering everyday. My deepest sympathy to the family that has to endure this. And the bad childhood excuse should never be allowed in court. What...did she not get a call back from Teen Mom, season 45, or maybe she was forced to do her homework on a Friday night, the horror!
Save the tax payers, a .50 bullet would take care her. Some people are just pure EVIL. Just like the guy in Washington State, that set himself and his children on fire. He should have done himself in, and let those babies live. Sooo Sad.
This is what is wrong with our country we let our @!$%#ed up media brainwash the stupid masses by putting up 3 yr old photos of this sick bitch making her look young and innocent when the focus should be the evil @!$%# she did. She needs to die. I dont care how much money you throw out this kind of problem you cant talk out being a @!$%#in sick bitch that would kill a little girl for no other reason than the thrill. Stop focusing on rather they are hot or young get your head out of your ass and pretend it was your kid and not matter how hot or cute this bitch is if she killed my kid there would be no trial.
I am so tired of people always thinking that they had a messed up childhood, she is pure evil and my heart hurts for the victims family. I am sorry her parents must endure this it must be so painfull, but she needs to go to jail for the rest of her life never to walk free again, she lost that privalige when she took this little girls life she herself does not deserve to have hers
lock her away for the rest of her life in the worst and darkest cell.... isolate her..... let her never ever see another human face..... not even the face of a guard.....
I was going to suggest the same thing. Bare walls, no bed, fed through a compartment in the wall with a door on her side that will only open when the guard's side is closed & a toilet, which she can use for the usual purpose and for cleaning herself/drinking water.
I've gotta say, the fact that you feel so strongly about something you have no say in is hilarious. And thank the heavens or whoever you pray to that you don't. Because guess what, you're just being a mob mental patient. IE- Salem witch trials.
Not saying I am defending her actions, I am saying that we as Americans have that whole bill of rights thing and yeah, that's more important than giving someone else misery for the rest of their life. ya know, no cruel and unusual punishment thing. Which we as a country have been trouncing on for far too long and will be in the future much to the forefathers dismay. they put that in there so people like you can't torture people. and yes, isolation is a form of torture.
The girl is guilty by admission and shared her true feelings about the event immediately after the crime. You can't get any more guilty than that. Make the punishment fit the crime.
