Yeah - rat poison is kind of a long step from thumbtack in chair. I remember in fourth grade we took a leak in the coffeepot in the teachers' lounge, but rat poison is taking things to a whole new level

Hello? Latinos are a very violent race of "people."

This is not that aberrant within their culture.

This is the race that loves to fight roosters; stab bulls; watch dogs fight; cut the heads off of rivals etc.

No other race of people have so many of their young males AND females in violent gangs. Ask any police department about the Latino gangs.

It all starts in the home and these kids learn violence from their parents.

These are the people that are coming to are Country and we are giving their anchor babies citizenship; free medical; free education; HUD housing; free food stamps; etc.... all so that they can grow up to be in violent gangs and invade your homes; rape your daughters; etc.

There is a reason that they left their Latino cesspool countries and now they are breeding themselves in a position to take over this Country and turn it into a cesspool country, just like the ones that they left.

Of off the Latino countries in the World, there isn't a single one that is a decent country. They are all morally bankrupt and they teach their children this by example.

When did they say that the students were latinos?

Oh you're extremely correct: I'm currently watching my puppies fight for their frog toy.

Actually, you're just stereotyping. Idiot.

The parents of these kids, are the same ones that you'll see on TV in 10 years, crying to the camera that:

"My boy no do that--he a good boy--he no rape and kill those girls--he a good boy" as they claim that they haven't seen him in days

... while he hides in the attic of their house until they can squirrel him away to Mexico to hide out with relatives.

That is what is so irritating about them, how they will hide their relatives when they know they are guilty of a heinous and violent crime.

I guess the Catholic Church teaches that it is okay to protect a criminal if it's a family member.

You forget to mention blacks, Mormons, Jews, ZOG, Arabs, women, HARP, FEMA, the IRS and Freemasons in your rant. I'm sure you were getting to those before you ran out of characters. As a Catholic, I'm just happy you included me in your hate. I often feel left out.

Obviously the catholic church teaches that it's okay to harbor criminals. They lead by example, look at all of the child molesting priests that were protected. The rest of what you said is crap, I've known hispanics who led decent lives and had no criminals hanging around their home. I'm not going to begin shunning my neighbor because some hispanic somewhere raped someone.

Obviously these kids have no structure or guidance in their lives. Punishment is a necessity. Hope there isn't a bunch of little wannabes out there.

Wow..what the heck is wrong with the world these days. When I was young..all we did to get even with a teacher we hated was give them a rotten apple to eat.

And we wonder why we can't get good teachers now days? Maybe if these little monsters would stop trying to kill them it wouldn't be such a problem.

Demand quality in the children attending public school, and other children and teachers won't continue to be poisoned, shot, stabbed, raped, blown-up, beat-up, etc.

Allow parents to punish their children and you'll see a change. Keep believing that timeout is an acceptable form of punishment and you'll see much more of this.

I think a "timeout" is in order.

          Remember, children are our future.

If these kids are our future, I'm going to poison myself.

UNFORTUNATELY, these children are our future... unless we enforce the immigration policy and repeal the 14th Amendment so that they aren't rewarded with automatic citizenship because their parents broke the law by coming to this Country.

It won't be long before they'll be voting their corrupt kin into office (it's already happening).

Yea. A "Timeout" indeed. About a 10 - 20 year timeout for attempted murder.

This is more than appalling! It's so scarey that 5th graders would even begin to think of doing something like that. It's about time that the parents be held in cases like this and ALL of them must go to counciling together! I'm just about speechless!

Agreed. And serious criminal-type behavior from children ( and teachers, too ), should result in them being permanently removed from our public school system.

So, what the hell are the parents doing? Just having babies and letting them raise themselves?

A time-out works on SOME kids. Others need more.

The parents were probably too busy selling their food stamps and buying lottery tickets with the cash, or helping the older siblings hide from the police.

Local Guy - after reading your multiple racially spiced comments, that are completely unfounded, as the article does not reference ethnicity of the kids, you either - can't hear or you are so biased you are beyond help. Maybe you should self-deport.

Did anyone but me notice the guy in the back picketing? I wonder what that was about. I have a feeling that if any of my kids were in school anywhere in CA, I would be doing some "random visits" to the classroom to see what the hell is going on.

              That Said:

I HATED my fifth grade teacher. He was mean, rude, and thought any kid of a single mother was going to fail, no matter what. I believe his exact words were "Drop out now, and save the tax payers some money". I didnt try to kill him, though. He was just a pig. When we have students that want to off a teacher, not once, but obviously ATLEAST twice, we need to look at all areas. I am seeing so many different reasons why a child or 3 might want to kill a teacher, and none of them are making any party look very good. The parties being the parents, children, and teacher/school. Being that it was 3 students, this leads me to see two reasons. 1) The teacher has some issues with the way they do their job, and it may or may not be abuse. 2) The students have either gone to their parents with issues with this person, or are afraid to because of whatver reason. Be it abuse, who cares, or just flat out ignored, something was going on in that classroom, and I am willing to bet these 3 are not the only ones. I really wonder what was going on, or if they find out that these kids are being abused at school or home. I can understand that it could have just been some messed up kids trying to exact revenge for missing recess, though I cant really make any kid justify killing a teacher due to the normal stuff we all go through in our school years. Something sure isnt right with this. The more I think about it, the more I want to pull my kids out of school and do it here. The only thing they are lacking is socialization, and being away from mom for a few hours everyday. I surely hope what first comes to mind is not the truth. That just affirms my worst fears for public education.
