Patrick Schwarzenegger -- Arnold and Maria's son -- hurt in skiing crash

Ouch!

Patrick Scwharzenegger was involved in a minor skiing accident in Sun Valley, Idaho Saturday -- and the 18-year-old provided the evidence via WhoSay.

"Little ski accident today. Some bruises and sitches down [my] back and butt," Patrick wrote in a photo caption. "Thanks to the Sun Valley doctors for everything."

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver's eldest son also uploaded a graphic photo of the deep cut just above his right butt cheek, showing his bloodstained underwear.

Patrick, a part-time model, is currently a senior at at Brentwood School in L.A. He also has his own clothing line, Project 360, which helps raise money for various charities. Though he's interested in acting, he's also hoping to further his education.

VIDEO: Inside Arnold and Maria's shocking split

"I'm applying to USC, Georgetown, Stanford and Penn. One sister goes to USC and the other to Georgetown," he told WWD in 2011. "If all my work is going well and I get into USC, that's probably what's realistic for me."

Really MSNBC? This is front page news? Arnies son "is in skiing accident", seeing the headline and on the front page I was expecting something serious... but he has some BRUISES!?

Even for you guys, this is pathetic.

Someone should teach this celebrity how to ski football. Oh wait, all the Kennedies are dead, never mind.

'Arnold's son' doesn't do much to nail it down.

A minor ski accident by a minor celebrity is cause for a news story? MSNBC please don't become another tabloid outlet like the rest of the news industry. You can make better use of your resources than this.

I am sorry for his accident and I'm glad it was only bruises, for his mother's sake.

I would rather that you'd put the front page headline as Marie Shriver's son, instead of leaving us to guess and then see the answer of who is his mother: that was a crap job of reporting, and you know it. We all know who the father is, and that man has already had his fame. So, are we going to see every step of his life played out on msnbc because he's a Schwarzenegger? Sorry, front page is only for Kennedys. (And you forgot to remind everyone of the causes of death of his various cousins.)

I don't care who his parents are or are not and am glad the young man was not seriously injured. With that said, it is not front page news nor is anything about the Kennedy Clan!

Where is the front page headlines regarding Canadian Skier Nick Zoricic killed today in competition? Such a tragedy! Condolences to his family and friends.

Glad to hear he wasn't hurt too badly.

And they did have a front page headline for the Canadian skier. I saw that earlier.

Obviously you people don't know how this works.

MSNBC makes MONEY by selling ADS. The story itself isn't on the 'front page'. The link is. You clicked the link (obviously), thereby allowing MSNBC to display some nice items and/or services for sale. Which they get paid for.

While I agree this isn't earth shattering news, he didn't have "just bruises." He had stitches as well. This is also the same son who was hospitalized shortly after the illegitimate son story broke. I think he was skiing that time too.

            Who cares?

Why, you care of course. Otherwise, you would not have clicked on the link that brought you to this earth-shattering news article.

Or were you one of the ones hoping, perhaps praying, that he had died tragically instead? A little disappointed at the outcome?

Yeah I am , at least if he died it would have gave the sheeple a weeks worth of ah so sorry news.

I they gonna make it front page news when he loses his virginity?

                #15.2 - Sun Mar 11, 2012 10:59 AM EDT

I care about it. I'm glad it wasn't more serious. Just remember what Bart said. Bones heal and chicks dig scars.
