Cops: Man searched for hooker with kid in tow

Police arrested 25 people in a prostitution sweep in New Britain Thursday, including a man who brought his child along during his alleged search for a prostitute.

Gonzalo Paredes, 32, of New Britian was charged with patronizing a prostitute and risk of injury to or impairing the morals of children. He was picked up while trying to solicit a prostitute Wednesday evening, police said.  Paredes' child was in the car when he was arrested.  Police did not release the child's age.

That's open ended. Technically, anyone under the age of 18 is a child. Maybe he was out getting the kid a birthday present.

They say sex education should be a responsibility of parents, not schools - dad was just trying to educate the boy.

In other news, 25 consenting adults were placed in cages for participating in an exchange of cash for services rendered. Any victims of this heinous crime are encouraged to come forward, for appropriate persecution.

BWA hahahaha....thought this might be a story from the state of Ohio, then realized it wouldn't make the news....that's normal in Ohio!!!!! (At least he wasn't soliciting his brother wearing a dress and heels!)

So? This isn't any big deal. At least he didn't leave the kid at home alone. Police just don't get that having sex is normal. Only the cops think that sex is a crime. Does that make you wonder what they do with their wives?

        Let's see here...

Sex IS normal but is picking up prostitutes with your child in the car is not normal. Is he married to the child's mother still? If so then the child is being made party to adultery. If not did the man's intent in some way involve the child AND the prostitute? Maybe both are the case. He is sick and frankly if you think his behavior is normal so are you.

The real crime is that the police are out looking for adults having sex! What about the murderers, rapists, robbers, kidnappers, child molesters and home invaders? I guess sex is at the top of the list. Twisted!

What about the women who are victims of sex trafficking? Prostitution isn 't just about sex, it makes miserable lives for the women who are pimped and forced into it. Some of the comments here are disgusting. You are twisted....

          My reaction exactly.

I saw a great quote the other day: Puritanism is the suspicion that somebody, somewhere is having fun.

I'm going to be completely judgemental on this point. I hate hookers!!! I'm sorry that they have no self-esteem, but some think they do and believe they chose to act this way. People do not ever have to do this for a living and I am sick of hearing about the good-hearted hooker that just needs to feed her family. Bunk! Most are selfish, lazy, don't care what disease they spread and who they hurt, as long as they get their money laying on their back or front or whatever. They belittle women in the eyes of men and disgust me to no end. Their actions have hurt all women since the beginning of time. They aren't doing other women a favor as some claim, that they help keep marriages together so the horny devils don't start affairs. Even with regular testing, this does not stop the spread of diseases. Please, you aren't fooling anyone, not even yourselves. Some are greedy and use sex for ultimate thrill and gratification instead of what is was intended for. Shame on anyone that indulges in this kind of illicit behavior.

I will not argue the morals or value of prostitutes as I think they are at best fools and at worst little more than you say BUT to blame the woman without looking at the reality of the situation is foolish. Prostitutes do not exist in a vacuum. The men who pay them are just as guilty. When I was a young woman I was married to a man of low morals. I blamed the women he slept with for my pain. Then I grew older and wiser and saw him for what he was. The same is true with this. If you would condemn the prostitutes then share the blame out accordingly. The people who visit them are equally at fault if not more so.

You sure know an awful lot about hookers. Mind sharing the source of all your knowledge?
