Possible security breach: Secret Service agents had president's schedule in rooms

New details about the Secret Service personnel alleged to have brought prostitutes to their hotel rooms have emerged, including reports that two of the 11 were supervisors. NBC's Kristen Welker reports.

The Secret Service agents who brought prostitutes back to their hotel rooms in Colombia last week had copies of the president’s schedule in their rooms, which raises the issue of a potential security breach, a law enforcement official tells NBC News.

Secret Service personnel were in Cartagena in advance of President Barack Obama’s arrival at the Summit of the Americas, a trade conference, over the weekend. At least 11 were placed on administrative leave and flown back to the United States on Saturday when it came to light that they had hired prostitutes. Their security clearances have since been pulled, NBC News has learned.

The story might have been kept a secret had it not been for a disgruntled woman who claimed she had not been paid by one of the agents. She argued with two Secret Service agents and then went to Colombian police. Local police reported the matter to the U.S. Embassy.

It has also been revealed that among the Secret Service personnel involved were full-fledged agents, which further ratchets up the seriousness of the incident, officials told NBC News national investigative correspondent Michael Isikoff.

The heavily armed agents play a key role in protecting the president, and their job is to neutralize attacks, according to the agency’s website.

It was initially reported that five military service members were also involved, but that they may have only broken curfew. Now officials say that more were involved and that they did more than just return to their hotel rooms too late –- several also paid for prostitutes.

The military service members involved were explosives experts and dog handlers from the Navy, Army and Marine Corps. The military advance team also included linguists and drivers, but they have not been implicated in the Wednesday night incident.

Members of elite unit among those suspended

At a press conference Sunday, Obama said he would be angry if the allegations turned out to be true.

“When we travel, we have to observe the highest standards,” he said. “We’re not just representing ourselves. We’re here on behalf of our people.”

The Senate Judiciary Committee, which oversees the Secret Service, is weighing whether to launch an investigation into the prostitution allegations.

Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said they were embarrassed by the allegations.

“What we do know is that several of our members distracted the issue from what was a very important regional engagement for our president,” Dempsey said. “We let the boss down because nobody is talking about what went on in Colombia other than this incident, so to that extent we let him down.”

But Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., defended agents in the service, calling them outstanding. He received Secret Service protection in 2008 when he was running for president.

“I am confident that the overwhelming majority of Secret Service people did not engage in this kind of behavior,” McCain said.

@RageAgainstThem...not all secret service agents are like you describe them. The are highly trained professionals, the best in the world. A few of them made mistakes. All they were doing is having sex, little pleasures of life. I think we should give them some slake.

You've got to be kidding??? Their job is to protect the President of the Unted States. They were on the job. They can go seek little pleasures when they are on their own time. Im not sure if just losing their jobs is enough.

I think we look the other way way too often. When the two crazy married couple schmoozed their way into that state dinner, Obama and really the media downplayed the importance of that breach. Now we have this. So now he might be mad. Do you think? My point is that any action that endangers the president is a very big deal. Obama should be outraged.

@JH #1.2 - I belive the agents were on their time off when they were engaged in r&r. How can they be expected to protect the president when they are off duty and supposed to be sleeping? Are they on duty 24 hours a day? Were there other agents to replace them? We don't know all the details, we can only go by what is reported.

@Seven2Seven #1.3 - Pardon the 'slake', should read 'slack'. I believe one of our president was having a 'little pleasure of life' in the oral office and nothing happened to him. How much of the national security was at risk then?

As the scandal widens, the Secret Service is going to find itself in a slippery situation as the media continues to penetrate deeper and deeper into the scandal. It was probably best that those 11 agents pulled out. The Secret Service must find some way to deflate the situation before it blows up in their face.

Security 101, no prostitutes or any outsiders.

Or Spycraft 101, distract the security agents to get information or blackmail or infiltrate.

Unbelievable.

Colombia is a country that has violent drug cartels and leftist guerillas. If none of them were behind this, they are likely kicking themselves in the butt for not taking advangtage of the low hanging fruit of kidnapping or assinating Obama.

This really is a shame. Doesn't matter, once their security clearances have been pulled they won't get them back, in fact they won't work anywhere that requires a clearance of any kind. I don't know what will happen to them but its clear there was a potential breach of "need to know" information. Based on security principals governing clearances there will be a full investigation. Charges may be filed but I won't go as far as to say that will in fact happen.

The schedule for the president will also be rewritten, key plans may not be changed but specifics about those key plans are being rewritten. I may not agree with the President on quit a few things but I hope they rev up security to ensure protection for our President.

Like I said, it's a shame. I had the opportunity to work in areas, to work side by side, with secret service agents and this event throws mud in the face of the many respectable agents I met.

@MoChuck, when you're in the front line, you're on duty all of the time. OK, your boss isn't around, but potential assassins, and terrorists, work 24/7. Doesn't common sense tell you that, in a foreign Country, you not only protect the people you're hired to protect, but you represent the US, and should act accordingly? When you're in Amsterdam on a Presidential visit, does that mean you can go to Canal Street, buy some hash, and play with prostitutes, "on your time off?"

Prostitution is legal in the country of Columbia as well as some states and cities in the U.S.A. and these agents were off duty, so what did they do wrong? If the dems can blame this on a repub and half the nation is democrat then we are in worse shape then I ever imagined, where did this idiot come from? mearly an idiot. I hope you don't vote!

For the matter at hand this is getting way to much attention, the media is playing people for a fool, its simple dismiss the supervisor, chew out the rest and move on its over. you will have human interaction when humans are involved, now if they were dressed in superman under ware and chasing hookers through the halls chugging on a bottle of champagne I would be concerned. this issue needs to be dropped all this media hoopla is doing nothing of value, what happens in the secret service should stay in the secret service, the real problem is the management level of Home Land Security, Romney is right about cleaning up government and restructuring certain agencies, the bigger Government gets the more inefficientit becomes. if it gets any bigger it will bog down and cease to function kind of like Europe. the only thing this scandal if you can call it that does is point that out. HLS has gotten to big and can not handle itself, that agency is overloaded and has way to much power, its time to downsize and return agencies to their former states, allot of these agencies could even be eliminated and never be missed except for the dead weight collecting big paychecks.

    #1.28 - Tue Apr 17, 2012 8:48 AM EDT

so what did they do wrong?

Not only having a presidential schedule in the room, but they are NOT there on vacation. They are in Columbia as a contingent of the United States and are supposed to be representing everyone from the United States. Their actions (if true) disgust me. When my company sends me somewhere for work, it is granted that I will represent the company in an upstanding way...at the jobsite and off. Or I won't be working for the company for long. These agents did plenty wrong.

@Amy to find out the itinerary all they have to do is pick up the news paper, as for the route of travel there are more than one and alternates are available, the main rout is usually publicized, if a prostitute did get access to sensitive info there is a 33% chance that something use full could be in it. there is a bigger threat that some militant group would take out air force one on take off or landing, all they have to do is sit and wait, the real danger is on approachand takeoff. I don't think the president was at risk any more than normal. and if the president was taken out GF the way our government is structured the void is automatically filled, don't forget we have Bidden, then Hillery, the list goes on and on, you would have to kill allot of people to stop the government.

Our entire governmental structure is collapsing - we are fast becoming the laughing stock of the world.
This whole administration is an embarrassment. The entire world is laughing and giving the finger to our once proud and mighty nation because of the last three + years. Even the secret service, the once proudest of the proud has been infiltrated by the malaise and party time attitude.

Well isn't it interesting that MSNBC has changed the story to "a woman went the police". First story out was that there was a brawl at the hotel because one of the prostitutes turned out to be a transvestite and the fight broke out over money. Of course Obama supporters will not have the sense to look at this mess in the proper light but:

Never before in our history has this happened on another President's watch and it is the second security breach. Remember the couple that slid into a Presidential dinner unnoticed? Remember the video by the GSA workers bragging they can party and never get investigated. This is the wrong minded attitude this administration has fostered. The only people Holder investigates are those that annoy Obama. Napolitano is given charge over the secret service and our homeland security. How secure are you feeling right now. A very proud professional service has been brought to redicule by the people picked for close service to the President. In this administration you can bet here were hand picked to be his supporters. Another bunch of misfits just like the many that have had to leave Washington once thier background was found out. Enough of this low life crap. Send Obama and all of them packing. We can never be a great country again with these types of people in control. If they can't even manage the security of their own leader, how many breaches in the US Security do you imagine have happened in the last 3+ years. The fact that we have not had a major attack here is due to the military and Police Department like New York's hard work and pure luck as far as Obama's administration is concerned.

if the world is laughing at us(and i doubt they are) it isn't because of the last three years. it's because of the eight years before that and they wouldn't be laughing, they'd be pissed. we dragged the world into two wars for no good reason, we snubbed summits that dealt with climate change and pollution while we continued to spew poisons into the atmosphere. we allow corporations to run amok around world and engage in tactics that should have been illegal. we didn't cause the world recession, but we sure helped out. i think if you did a little research(i know, not in your vocabulary) you'd find that our president is more respected than bush ever was and our recovery, however slow it may seem to us, is still helping lead the way for the rest of the world. i know, that is you hate obama, God himself couldn't change your mind, you'd become an atheist first, but hatred doesn't change the truth. we are a better country than we were three years ago and in the next four years, i know president obama will make it better. my real hope we can get a majority of democrats in both houses so we can actually get something done. unfortunately, bipartisanship is dead and the only way to move this country anywhere is to have an overwhelming majority ruling. too bad for us. too bad for our children. maybe they will grow up and be more mature than we have been.

@alessa - are you really that naive to think that? The excuse of blaming Bush for Obama's failures is getting old, because Bush left office over THREE years ago when Obama began running..... I mean ruining America....The excuse is getting so old that they may have to start blaming Nixon for Obama's failures.

Obamas creation of all these "czar-ships" ought to strike fear in everyone's heart.

By the way - Obama had a super majority with the White House, Congress and House controlled by Democrats. He could have passed any law! He did not need a single republican vote for any bill to pass. He could have promoted jobs and worked to strengthen the economy yet he passed a horrific and still undefined health care program that was so bad that he couldn't get his own party to vote for it. He had to buy their votes with huge tax cuts and wheelbarrows full of money for their states. The measure passed only after the congress used an extremely rare tactic. He and his super majority failed miserably to change the direction of the country.
The Obama experiment has been a complete failure. He lied about everything in his campaign to become president.

Assuming they were actually hookers and assumeing that even if they were they wouldn't pass that info on to someone we should be worried about. Yeah, it's pretty much a big deal.

That is because she is not back from Columbia yet...something about partying with "the boys".

      @JoeB,

The only thing they did wrong was bring the one cheap-a** agent on the trip that wouldn't pony up the 42 bucks to pay the lady. What an idiot!!! Probably a republican agent. More than likely figured she'd just go out and buy something stupid with it like contraceptives.

        #1.56 - Tue Apr 17, 2012 11:26 AM EDT

amy - McCain said “I am confident that the overwhelming majority of Secret Service people did not engage in this kind of behavior”. Exactly how is this wrong? He is defending the honor of the majority of the Service, yet you have to make it into something it's not. If there is a moronic statement here it would be yours, not his.

Why do you and others have to go and try make political hay out of this? This is NOT the fault of the President, Sen McCain, Pres Bush, Gov Romney or anyone else but the folks who violated the trust that was placed on them. Yes, prostitution is legal in Columbia, but this does not excuse the lack of judgement they showed. You can buy opium over the counter in some Asian nations, but I bet these guys would get fired for that too (as they should).

To blame anyone else except the persons who acted irresponsibly shows that you are nothing more than a political hack who is incapable of independent thought. Your opinions should be fed to a male bovine to make it the BS that it truly is.

It might not have but believe the events around it eventually led to an impeachment.

        Torian Richardson AkA Smooth

LOL Joe B said Obama is litterally hated by Billions of people in America alone.. News flash, there are hardly billions of people in the ENTIRE WORLD let alone in the USA (Not even close to 1 bill). This is a perfect example of how stupid the Obama haters are. They recycle random non-sence they heard from fox "news" ( and I use the word very lightly) and go off on rants which they can't even explain if asked. Forget our president, we are doomed because people like you and mr. Harley somehow keep breeding...

The funny thing is there was a video of Biden (with a determined look) where he stated "what we need is a 3 letter word....J . O. B . S........haha...what a tool!!!!

But i have to add....to Torian.....one of the things that make Obama supporters so stupid, is that they believe his lies (regardless of what the BS Fox reports)....NBC, CNN and FOX are ALL crap....they are useless, and do not report facts....all their shows are opinion shows....NBC being the dems side of it....but with laws like N.D.A.A, and the newer Tresspass Bill....Obama has effectively shown how stupid people can be....and his supporters are proof!!!

Dont Get me wrong....Romney isnt any better....maybe slightly....but not really.....I could see it now...Obama/Romney ....or Romney/Obama 2012 (the end of the free world)

The are highly trained professionals, the best in the world.

More like the worst in the world and a complete disgrace to their profession.

They should immediately be stripped of all rank and seniority, lose all their pensions and benefits, be fired and receive a dishonorable discharge, possibly face time in the brig, and be required to reimburse the government for their travel expenses. Whoever they report to and whoever that person reports to should also be at risk.

The President has better things to do than to train, schedule, and babysit his security detail. We have a Secret Service that is supposed to do that. They haven't done their job. This is a national disgrace, and if I were President Obama, heads would definitely roll.

commonsense: "The President has better things to do than to train, schedule, and babysit his security detail". Please don't tell me you believe for one second that the President has anything to do with the day to day running of the USSS. Please tell me you don't believe that the President even would know HOW to train a Secret Service Agent.

I guess if you can't find some way to blame President Bush or VP Cheney for this, you day is wasted. (or are you wasted?)

"They should immediately be stripped of all rank and seniority, lose all their pensions and benefits, be fired and receive a dishonorable discharge, possibly face time in the brig, and be required to reimburse the government for their travel expenses." - Should this be the case for any Government employee who engages in the same such behavior? (GSA anyone?) What of political appointees who engage in this sort of disreputable behavior? Don't get me wrong, I believe these folks should be fired, and right now. But you act like they should be put to death over this. The appropriate action has been taken and discipline will be forthcoming. Believe me, their careers are over, but why do you feel this is not sufficient? It's not like they let some fool throw a shoe at the President.

Actually, it was only one of the "reported" prostitutes that demanded payment and refused to leave before 7 AM. For all that is known, they hooked up with some free loving women and one of them decided to cash in on her hook up and decided to extort her date.

It should be easy to find, as it was signed about four days ago.

Obama was there for the Summit of the Americas, as were other heads of state. Columbia may not be the best place to have such a meeting, but maybe it was their turn. Not sure how the venue is selected.

As for the conduct of the SS during this mission, can't say I can muster up much sympathy for them. Usually I'm more forgiving, but exposing the president's itinerary to prostitutes? Bad juju.

Doesn't matter if it is to an area the State Department tells the rest of us not to go, like Mexico. We get to pay for enough secret service people to take care of them while on vacation. Opps, maybe they'll have to hand pick some more who they are sure won't tell tales and can also do the job. Going to be pretty hard to find among Obama supporters.

A few of them? 11 agents and I believe 5 military men and that is a few? All they were doing is just having sex. No that is not all they were doing; they are there to protect the president no matter is they are on the clock or not. Also, it is illegal in the USA except Nevada Brothels to pay for sex, thus they were breaking American Law. Before you say that they where not breaking the law ask yourself can they go to a country where heroin is legal and use heroin? No, they can not? Cut them a little slack! What the F*CK are you Libs out of your minds, they are in another country protecting our president, they should not be given slack the should of been executed on the spot. Then we wouldn't have too go threw this again. Since they are lead by Obama it is no wonder they thought this was ok.

I don't think the president has a say who is in his detail. I am sure there are more than one group of Secret Service agents assigned to the President. Others are there for his family, Vice President, etc. I am sure someone could explain this to the general public. I would also think this highly educated and trained group of individuals would have a little more class and dignity than to stoop to these lows. It is also disappointing to think they left schedules and who knows what other details around for all to see or steal. I am sure before this is over everything will be blamed on the President - everything else seems to be these days.

You better believe it. They choose agents they figure won't spill any beans. Don't see, don't tell. Just another bunch of Obama incompetents here in an agency run by Napolitano.

You can't really be niave enough to believe Obama's administration hasn't vetted each agent assigned to him and Michelle to insure no leaks of things they want kept secret. Too bad, that kind of person turns out to be stupid also.

Doesn't the white house (Obama), approve of the agents assigned ?????????????

Sure. As President of the most powerful country on earth, a country that was already in the midst of 12 different crises on the day he was inaugurated, President Obama has nothing more important to do than to interview and schedule security personnel, and the gardeners for the White House lawn, and then review recipes for whatever is going to be served for dinner that night.

And then he's supposed to follow the security personnel around all day to make sure they don't get into trouble, and he's supposed to make sure they brush their teeth after each meal, and then he tucks them in at night.

I have a feeling a lot of heads are going to roll. The Director of the Secret Service might want to resign before he gets canned.

Living in the world of fiction with the rest of the incorruptible people.

If they had gone to Columbia and picked up girls, not prostitutes, paid for a different hotel room, they wouldn't be in nearly as much trouble. Does the secret service really have that much trouble getting laid without someone being paid? Do they have no professional concept of protecting their primary's itinerary? It sounds like the secret service is in about the same shape that the FBI was in under Hoover.

I see an agency about to be shaken to its core.

This is not something which should be excused or taken lightly, no boys will be boys BS. They were there on the taxpayers dime and representing our country but above all protecting our President, none of them should get any slack. They couldn't keep it in their pants and now they stepped all over it, no sympathy.

They should all be terminated. They are in a foreign country with little control of the environment around them; how many spies used sex as a hook to get or plant information or commit a nefarious act? Just because there is no USSR any more does not mean there is no KGB, Mossad, MI-6 or any of a basketful of active, well trained spy organizations. It wasn't just their little head doing the thinking, it was their blind arrogance and lack of professional ethics that led to this debacle that could have compromised the nation. The Nation is what matters, not if you got some at the Colombian beer bust.

WAY BACK WHEN, I WENT TO SCHOOL in DC for an assignment with the DIA and a trip was arranged for the husbands, the agency set up a scam of women to try to get the men to do things they would not have done if the wife's were there, it's called policing your team to weed them out, Don't get me wrong I am not saying that is the case here, but the 2 out of 12 men that strayed had there training stopped and they were out of the program not to mention what their wife's had to say to them and both men ended up in divorce.

IT'S a sad day when the secret service has shamed the Department and I fear their lives will be forever changed,

What I can say is that President Obama was never an important man in the US . Since he was elected by those who voted for him and resented him today and no wrong doing was found about President Obama; so, it was impossible to impeach him. The agent showed that they didn't care enough for President Obama since he is a black man. Congressman McCain himself showed and still show his worst resentment about the president and no matter what the president does or says, Mr McCain disagrees and rejects the president actions. Now, this is not politic. It's a hatred feeling against the President. In the internet, eighty percent of people talk against President Obama. Yet no one ever comes up with his wrong doing. I never like politic and never want to discuss politic in general, but when one looks at the situation, one can see that everything about President Obama is racially motivated. So, what would one expect from the secret service members. I wasn't surprise to hear this on the news. The president was neglected, exposed for anything to happen. Supposed one of those prostitutes was an assassin or a terrorist sent by Iran, or Chavez? Those men should be out of their jobs which would be as a lesson for others. Tax payers money should not be used for those men. This is a great ambarrassment for the United States of America, that the country is so prejudice about ethnicity, skin color, and foreigners who speak foreign languages, When this country was built by foreigners. Really, no other nation can bring the US down to her knees than only her own people who will destroy the United States of America. This is sad to see that there is no patriotism, no brotherhood, no respect for the laws that our forefathers wrote, no respect for the President of the country. The people of this once great nation become selfish, unconsiderate, disrespectful, greedy. We are condemning terrorism when we are doing it in a different way. We are condemning people who abuse the rights of others when we are doing it right here in the US. We think that we are the best nation and the best people on the planet, when we are the worst and the last. If only we would open our eyes to see where we are. If at least we would wake up and smell the fresh coffee!........

Rauol: Are you new to America? Our President is very important to our country and don't start with the racial stuff. The majority of Americans DO respect our President, those who don't should move to another country. Some Americans chose to disagree with his policies, that's what we do here in America. It's called a democracy. This disgrace and embarrasment belongs ONLY to those SS men who placed themselves before their duty.

Amazing someone cries these agents slept with hookers because the POTUS is black. I guess it must be a racial thing. I wonder how you classify Chuck Rangel's tax evasion over 10+ years, his misuse of congressional resources, and only recieved what amounted to a "you bad boy letter". I guess it wasn't a "racist" issue when the black congressional caucus threatened their BS if Chucky Boy was held to task, held accountable, and PROSECUTED like any other TAX EVADER that wasn't black or in congress. Seems to me, when a person of color engages in some "elicit" activity, it's never RACIAL until they are caught.

Now while we can point fingers at the multitudes of "illegal" and "immoral" activities by a number of previous Presidents, i.e. The Billy Clinton Cigar Story, The Oral Office, his lying to congress about not having sex with that woman (though to this day he still can't explain the cum stains on that dress), or JFK and his sexcapes, or hell ANYONE in congress who accepts bribes (campaign contributions from special interests) to claim these Agents did it because he is black, shows just how IGNORANT the mindset is of the people are in this country.

While I detest what Obama is as a President, and I will certainly NEVER vote for him or another Clintonite in my lifetime, the actions of these secret service agents are a reflection on themselves. It epitomizes EXACTLY what is wrong with this country, from our Current POTUS to the common everyday citizen. It shows people lack integrity. Integrity being defined as doing the right thing at all times, even when NO ONE is looking. It is self control, discipline, honesty, loyalty, and having a sense of morales and conduct that is beyond reproach. IF anything, I am willing to bet the folks involved had a definite sense of EGO going on. Being one of the untouchable minions of a head of state. And these guys get this ego because everyone wants to be ELITE something or other. And we as a society are RESPONSIBLE for creating these egos. The rules are NEVER applied in a universal sense, and we NEVER HOLD PEOPLE ACCOUNTABLE for their actions, unless it is driven by some political motivation, some racial issue, or some outlandish cry for blood. I think if you hold these agents Responsible for their actions, and we should, then by God, we should hold every person FULLY RESPONSIBLE for the mistakes they make as well, and we should start with those that MAKE AND ENFORCE our laws, and hold them to the sterling standard...

Didn't President Clinton also lie to a grand jury? Is Roger Clemens facing 30 years in prison for lying to a grand jury? Did all of the Democratic Congress and Senate gather around Bill Clinton and tell us he did nothing wrong?

The secret service did this because they are racist and don't care about the president because he is black.

Does it mean that the army is racist towards white people when the 3 people did those things at Abu Ghraib because the President at the time was white?

McCain would defend them if they had slaughtered them all. Sorry but being in the military or secret service is not an automatic qualification as a highly moral person. Some are, some aren't. We've swung from the incredibl disrespect shown Viet Nam vets to the "all servicemen/women are heroes". Neither is right.

I think the Secret Service has a party back in November of 1963 if I recall. Allegations, at least, of partying the night before the motorcade.

If the allegations are true, and the agents had the President's schedule in their rooms, they must be removed from service and they SHOULD be prosecuted for dereliction of duty.

So Secret Service agents prove to be regular men. I wonder if they put away the president's agenda when they were paying for sex or could there be a breach of confidentiality. Columbia is secret service equalizer. All they did was offer women and they got an agenda an who knows what other kind of good information. These men were too easy and too stupid if they thought these all the women were really prostitutes. There had to be a couple that were seeking information to sell. Colombian terrorists don't joke when it comes to blowing someone up.

Secret service agents have a morality clause attached to their service which states if married agents commit adultery they are removed from the ranks and lose their security clearance . Why? Because a cheating spouse can be leveraged with their past for information and therefore they are a security risk. This is also why agents must exhibit exemplary behavior in their duty at all times. There is no "slack" or "fun and games" here. Important lives could be at stake. If the president or any U.S. dignitary were injured you would want these men's peckers on a stick. Some things just have to be serious all the time.

Exactly - The Russians used to get US diplomats in compromising situations with prostitutes, both male & female, and secretly film them. Then blackmail them for top secret information.

The agents should receive the worst punishment allowable. Losing their jobs isn't enough. Losing their wives and families because they were too busy thinking with the wrong organ may make them realize just how dumb they were. The men in the military should be court marshalled'. Ah, yes. Men will be men. Always thinking with their genitalia.

I thought they would have the back of the President, no matter who he was, Dem or Rep, no matter. I had this idea that the office came first, boy was I wrong again about this country. Can you believe they put the United States on the line over Prostitutes that would sell information for nothing! This is not about politics at all, or any given President, this is the security of us folks, open your eyes. Who was the joker that said they were checking out blondes for the Pres., you better worry about a bigger issue. Maybe like your safety...think about it! That is the mind set that is going to take this country down fast. And the other joker that said "failure to protect Obama doesn't have a down side", man what planet do you live on? This is the security of our country we are talking about, not what President we have. Wait until your party gets into office, we can jump on this, and say "who cares" I bet you will not be saying the same dumb stuff Fubarack.

I think this is inexcusable. These 11 men are there for one reason and one reason only and to hire prostitutes is not the one. They were acting like they were on vacation. All of them were privileged to information critical to the presidents safety and had some of that information in their rooms. Just inexcusable to say the least. I say prosecute them for negligence and dereliction of duty.

Sure some military got caught with some prostitutes. Bad. Bad. But what about the gop flying a passenger jet into the pentagon on 911. Killing 200 military. Which is worst. I agree with ron paul that we are investigating the wrong incident. Mr grover, the gop, & the rushbo will tell you that the pentagon & prostitutes are a big deal.
