In a case riddled with loose ends and unanswered questions, a California woman is being held on $3 million bail and has been charged with the murder of a Marine's wife. NBC's Mike Taibbi reports.
Sheriffs have arrested a third suspect in connection to the murder case of Marine wife Brittany Killgore, who was killed last month.
Dorothy Grace Marie Maraglino, 36, a Fallbrook, Calif. resident, was taken into custody at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at a hotel in downtown San Diego, according to sheriffs.

Homicide detectives said Maraglino’s arrest – the third in Killgore’s case – was made as a result of information and evidence obtained throughout the ongoing investigation.
A source inside the sheriff’s department told NBC 7 San Diego that Maraglino has been a “person of interest” since Killgore disappeared last month.
Brittany Killgore, slain wife of Marine, texted 'help' on night of disappearance, prosecutor says
Address searches reveal that Maraglino was living at the same house on East Fallbrook Street where two other suspects -- 45-year-old Marine Louis Perez and 25-year-old Jessica Lynn Lopez -- who have been arrested in Killgore’s murder also lived at one point.
Marine arrested, suspected of murdering military wife Brittany Killgore
Killgore, 22, went missing on April 13. Her body was found abandoned in Riverside County on April 17.
At a hearing last month, a prosecutor said investigators found Killgore’s blood and a weapon in Perez’s car.
Both Lopez and Perez have pleaded not guilty in the murder of Killgore. Investigators say that three days after seeking a divorce from her husband deployed in Afghanistan, Killgore disappeared after a night out with Perez.
Perez, 45, a Marine for 16 years, is married and has lived in the San Diego area for 10 years.
Killgore cited irreconcilable differences in her divorce filing but gave no other details.
"My wife Brittany, was beautiful beyond words and her murder has left me devastated," Marine Lance Cpl. Cory Killgore said in a statement.
No further information about Maraglino’s alleged involvement in this case has been released.

This marines words are a lot kinder to this woman than I probably could have been. She filed for a divorce just a few days after he left for a war zone.
What the hell is wrong with people?
They're not people, they're "extradimensionals"
The fact that she filed for divorce while he was in the war zone shows me that she wasn't the MOST terrible of military wives. Getting divorced would deny her any survivor benefits if he were to die there.
I live in a military town and see many divorces when the troops come home. I don't know if the spouces were hoping that their mate would not come home alive or if it was just too hard to adjust to having them back after being on their own or if the experiences of war caused them to be hard to live with. I'm sure it's a combination of all three.
There are a lot of things that just do not add up with this whole story, not the least of which is why the husband is being so magnanimous in talking about his dead wife. After all, the women filed to divorce him while he was deployed overseas in a combat zone. This would leave most men extremely bitter, not gushing with praise for the woman. So far nothing has been released about any motive for this murder either. Something tells me that there is more to this story that has not yet been made public.
My thoughts exactly. This happened to me too, and it is a killer when you are thousand of miles from home in a strange land with no family and all of a sudden you have no family anymore. I had two kids too. I really feel for this girls family, and she certainly didn't deserve to die, for whatever reasons. But he sure is being magnanimous!!
Don't you STILL have two kids?
Laura...my thoughts exactly!
This girl was pretty and probably got a lot of attention from Marine guys, creating a scene of scorn in women and jealosy in guys. Possible some woman felt she was going after her guy.
Desire is the root cause of all evil - Buddha.
All three were probably hired to murder her...some people don't take divorce well
She filed for divorce and is murdered 3 days later. A little hard to arrange from 12,000 miles away with out leaving a lot of evidence around. The police haven't arrested the husband so I doubt very seriously he had anything to do with it.
Richard,
She may have threatened to divorce him weeks ago and he may have set something up before he left (Week/s earlier) saying, if she divorces me while I'm deployed, I want you to blah blah blah.
Hey, at this point, it's all speculation just as you are doing.
Were it a younger Marine that was arrested for her killing, I would have some suspicions concerning the husband being involved. In this particular instance, we're talking about a Staff Non Commissioned Officer, and the relationship wouldn't exist that would be conducive for a "hit". My meaning; the Marine arrested would have to have a very close relationship with her husband (a junior Marine) to enable that type of communication. Being a Marine, and knowing the Corps hierarchy, that relationship wouldn't exist. There's a very remote possibility, but I'm not buying it.
People are freaking animals! Hope they burn slow and long!
What was the motive? Two other women as suspects? There has to be a whole lot more to this story. And just for the record, I'm not buying the husband being involved in the murder.
Sounds too much like Scott Peterson to me...he was pissed she was leaving him...yes, it's hard to hear that news after coming back from the war, but it's equally as difficult for spouses/dependents to deal with while their soldier/sailor is away. She may have had enough, was tired of being alone and probably found someone new...not an excuse by any means, but it happens...I've seen it...
This is one of the weirdest Murders in San Diego in a while. These 3 people were linked to some sort of Bondage Website........Freaks I tell ya!
Never know. The husband may have put out a hit when she filed for divorce. It'll all come out in the wash.....
This is the work of SATAN. These people had no soul and were probably dead a long time ago!!!!!
One more time?
The dimension their from is called the low life zone.
Ah Ha! More killer Marine training put to good use, right? Maybe this is why the USMC is always looking for a Few Good Men - Most of the ones they get are psycho killers or rapists.
In order to protect the sheep, you must become the wolf.
Where are the pictures of the alleged perps..?!! I see pics blasted all over the page for 2 TEENAGE black KIDS who shot an upskirt video of a teacher (for god's sake..) and yet..it's been almost a MONTH and I have YET to see even a grainy POLAROID of these alleged MURDERERS. What's goin' on here..! Nevermind...I already know. I know the perps in THIS CASE...cannot be Black. If they were..ALL OF US would know every acne pimple on their face!
Some days you just have to scratch your head and wonder what the H... is wrong with people.
What reason would they have to conspire? Life insurance. The Marines are hold themselves to a very high standard. I cant imagine why Perez would do this. Unless they are being framed. What better alibi than being deployed. And why did she go "out" with Perez in the first place? Maybe the wife of Perez was jealous and did it?
Semper Fi
The husband wasn't involved, the jealous women did it......she should have stuck with husband and not someone elses man.
