Isaac Lamb of Portland, Ore. asked 60 friends and family to participate as he proposed to his girlfriend Amy Frankel.
Isaac Lamb may have just won the award for best-ever marriage proposal. (Or perhaps the award for most-viewed proposal.)
On Wednesday, Lamb, 31, asked his girlfriend Amy Frankel to meet him at his parents’ home for dinner. On arrival, Lamb's brother asked Frankel, 33, to sit in the open back of a Honda and to put on headphones -- he said he wanted to play her a song.
As the song, “Marry You,” by Bruno Mars started playing, friends and family emerged to perform in an elaborately planned lip-dub dance.
As the song plays, Frankel is clearly delighted and surprised, letting out small shrieks of joy as each new group of dancers joins in. By the end of the five-minute video, more than 60 dancers are in the frame. As for what happens next, well, you’ll have to watch the video, which had 1.5 million views on YouTube by Sunday afternoon.
Even Bruno Mars weighed in, tweeting: "Congrats to Isaac Lamb and the future Mrs. I don't think I could've made a better music video for this song. Thank you."

I'm friends with the choreographer Gina (dancer in red)... she'd do well on Glee :)

No.No it didn't rock.
WOW Great job and best of luck...
I loved that....cried a little.....happy!
What's wrong with simply proposing? Engaging and marrying is the simple part. Staying together (at least until you paid all the wedding debts :) is the difficult part.
agreed
You're right. Romance, creativity, family, friends, and fun make staying together much more difficult.
How wonderful is it to know that love like this still exists out there. People sometimes get so caught up in the everyday motions of life that they forget to actually LIVE it with those they love most. Amazing couple, amazing video, amazing love. Congrats guys!
I have to say the video was pretty cool ....
Good luck you two ....
Have fun ....
Oh man thank you for blowing the curve! NOT! How am i supposed to propose to MY girlfriend now, you darned show-off?

Bravo! Well done sir and kudos to all those who helped.
Best wishes for a long and happy life together!
I watched this about 9 times yesterday -- and even the last viewing was hard to get through with dry eyes. All of it is done with a relaxed, familar feel which is a draw to become and stay engaged. What's special is experiencing Amy's reactions -- many paralleling my own -- from the humorous ("Oh! I get it" for the first Dancing Jew) to the poignant (her gay friends) to simple joy (including remote particpants on laptops). Congratulations to Amy for catching Isaac and to both for having such a great circle of friends and family (and technicians) to pull it all together.
Oh please. He stole this idea from another guy who did it a hundred times better. Want to see the ORIGINAL? Here's the link:

That one rocks! The guy in this article is nothing more than a copycat!
Saffie, even though it's similar, it's very different. The one you showed us is a dance. Isaac's is a musical production. But there's no need to sound like a 12 year old about it. Both are quite beautiful.
No matter how joyous the subject, there always has to be a negative person in the crowd. More than likely, a reflection of their own personal negativity and bitterness. People who can never be happy for others. Congratulations to the happy couple and may they be blessed with many, many years of continued fun, creativity, and love.
Brilliant, Loved it. what a great way to propose. Congratulations to the happy couple. LOL Wonder what the wedding will be like.
Love this video, great imagination ! Best of luck to the new couple.
I nearly broke my face grinning at this. I'd only seen parts on the news. It was AWESOME!!! How wonderful to have such great friends and family. Congratulations to a couple who will no doubt live happily ever after!
