Subscribe to RSSA bear interrupted an elementary school graduation before getting the shock of its life. KGET-TV's Kiyoshi Tomono reports.
A young bear scampered between two schools in Bakersfield, Calif., disrupting a graduation ceremony, before being cornered in an apartment building and tasered by an animal control officer, NBC station KGET reports.
"Some girls came in running, uh there's a bear in front of the school. It ran through the elementary school playground before heading to the apartments across the street," Teresa Arambula, principal of Garza Elementary, told KGET on Thursday. Her school is beside Sierra Middle School.
The animal, thought to be one to two years old, weighed about 125 pounds, authorities said. In the video above, officers struggle with the animal, which has a snare loop around its neck, before capturing it and returning it to the wild.

My grandfather told me this when i was 10 years old. You will see them rise up again and hate once more before its all said and done. I will tell you this iike i tell my children. I've had this happen, where you click to respond and get taken to the wrong thread (not the one you were reading . . .).
It is a shame that these kids get pushed to that point. It is also a shame that that time and time again the ones doing the bullying are the shining stars and darlings of the school. This probably explains the real reason not much is done about it more often than not, leaving these kids to feel like there is no one to turn to or trust in authority. I just wish that these kids that are killing themselves because of the bullies would take that extra little step and take some of thier worst tormentors (and only thier tormentors...we don't want another Columbine...those kids were just rabid and killing everybody) with them when they go, if they really can't stand to be alive. Perhaps it might make a few people think twice about being cruel if it might get them killed.
I would say that I hope that anyone thinking of killing themselves because of these idiots try and remember that there are other ways to deal with it. If you let them kill you then they win and will just make jokes about how crazy you were.
In reference to the bit of confusion about race vs ethnicity etc...Let me sum things up
RACE: is a classification system used to categorize humans into large and distinct populations or groups by heritable phenotypic characteristics, geographic ancestry, physical appearance, and social status.
ETHNICITY: The fact or state of belonging to a social group that has a common national or cultural tradition.
NATIONALITY: The status of belonging to a particular nation
There are only 4 race types on this planet....Red, Yellow, Black and White, therefore Hispanic is not a race, but an ethnicity. No matter how dark they get, they are still considered caucasian, Spain is European!
