Some of you are pretty critical of our justice system here. It wasn't known he was here until February this year when we contacted Interpol and followed there lead, we had no legal grounds to hold him since we didn't have any extradition papers.

In my town the tax payers footed the whole bill. The installation of the sewers and water which was billed out over xxx amount of years.(8 or 10 yrs I think) Problem is that the town did not need the water and voted against it. But the town council voted otherwise. It was total BS as the only reason the town needed it was so a major contruction company could build a condo complex. I founght the water and then was even billed for the water I would have used had I not fought it. That right there is theft, as they can not bill for a service not supplied-try sueing though. Even the FBI said corruption was running amuck throughout NJ but yet they stopped in Jersey City. No business period could stay in business if they ran like any government entity. Even the Port Authority has been fighting anyone doing a complete audit on them, the theft and misuse is incredible where ever you look

I am asking sincerely because you have had to have had others help even if just helping you get your job (employer) or buyers of your service or product (consumers) or food on your table (farmers) or even all your daily uses (electronics, utilities etc.)

Unless you live in "the hills" and supply all this yourself. Even then if you go to the public library to use the computer, you are not totally "self sufficientt" as you are claiming. Every day you use the "help" of other people in one way or another.

Not all people are in your position, health issues, medical needs, unforeseen financial woes just to name a few. I feel for you if you are ever put in any of these situations.

I too, thought I was all big and bad, didn't need any help from anyone, until the day I woke up blind and in horrible pain. I got my eyesight back(not what it used to be), but, the muscle spasms I live with daily. Therefore, literally, in a blink of an eye, our lives CHANGED. I have MS and due to the varied physical problems of this disease, not all that live with it can just continue living as before the initial impact of MS.

So if you truly believe that all people should live the way you claim to live, I hope you have a change of attitude before it happens to you. The depression of what to do next in your life, since your plans were changed in the blink of an eye, would probably be too much for you to handle.

And please enlighten me as to how your income, food, daily necessities etc. are not getting "help" in some form from others. I am in need of your "DIY" strategies. Due to our lack of insurance, lack of my career job( I now work a minimum wage job with no insurance and continued COBRA as long as we could), lack of financial assets, lack of many unforeseen issues we are NOT living as we were before. So please, tell me how you do it! I am in dire need of "help" before we lose everything.

Oh, by the way, the daily injections I have to do, they cost over $2300 a month. My insurance covered almost all of this, but since losing my insurance I would have to pay that myself. Guess what, I asked for "help" and now I continue to get the injections at no cost. (they have programs for these situations) But I would really like my "old" life back. It was way sweeter than what I do now.

Two years ago one of my friends in India wanted to visit the US. He went through the official legal channels to get a tourist visa, which was denied. When he tried to find out why he learned that since he had just a middle class job, no dependants, and rented an apartment rather than owned, the officials figured he'd have more motivation to come over here and disappear than go back to India. When I worked in Mexico it was the same story; if you don't own enough property to force you to go back home, getting a tourist visa is next to impossible. But there are also thousands of cases where it was found through DNA the the one paying child care WAS/IS NOT the father of such children. In fact riots frequently break out when two young people of different castes marry, villages burned to the ground, death of the couple is also a frequent outcome. These families have been known to murder their daughters when for instance she marries a Christian Man or simply becomes a Christian. It is recommended in many areas if you marry into a different religion or change religions you let the police know.

If you're talking about the FED, those people can not be replaced so easily, and it was deliberately set up that way. Only one of them can be replaced every 2 years, and the one that comes up for possible replacement isn't picked by the POTUS, it's the one that hasn't come up for replacement in the last 16 years. Which means the people who have come up for replacement during Obama's tenure were the same people Clinton put in there... in other words they aren't the ones that need to be replaced.

There is a simple answer. Someone somewhere made a mistake. Then again,it might not have BEEN a mistake. Lets be realistic. If you walked into the US embasy and tried to bribe an consular officer,youd be kicked out at the least,arrested if they could. So,no,its just not plausible that he bribed one of our people. However,they have to rely on what they are told by India. In India bribery is rampant. I went to grad school with a guy from India and we were talking about that one day. He was curious if it happens here. I explained that yes,it does,but its prosecuted when caught and usually its done in a way that tries to hide it,for instance,someone does a half a million dollar renovation on a politicians house or gives someones wife a cushy makework job for 200,000 a year. Its still bribery but in India its different. If you want a building permit,it takes a cash payment to some government official. Its cash money,handed over in a government office,and his boss DOESNT look the other way,he knows full well whats going on because hes getting a peice of the action.

How did this guy get here with an indictment in India? He probably bribed someone to not report it when the request came in for any criminal records pertaining to him.

Now think about this. He was facing an extradition. It was a matter of time. What that tells you was that however he ended up here,the jig was up. He was going to be sent back and he killed his family and himself to avoid it.

How did he start a business? Well,he didnt leave India "for opportunity". He left becuase he was fleeing prosecution. He probably had some money to start a buisiness with. In fact,that makes sense. If you have cash in India,you can make things happen. Things like criminal records not being reported on requests from the US government. Those things simply require the right payment to the right official in India.

No. once again, please UNDERSTAND jurisprudence and that is that the State Department had NOT been given extradition papers for Mr Singh so there was NOTHING that they could do. Do you understand that? If not please got to either the State Department site or Immigration and Naturalization websites and type in extradition.

These stories bring out the nutjobs. Like the tired old myth that immigrants are all setup with buisinesses tax free by the government,its a total BS lie,but people beleive it. It makes them feel better for their miserable lives working for minimum wage at WalMart,living in a trailer court while some guy from Pakistan ownes there 7-11s ,lives in a nice house and drives a BMW. What they dont realize,or want to realize,is that that guy came here with his father and 3 brothers after waiting 8 years for the visas to be approved. He and his three brothers and his father,as well his older brothers wife and three children lived in a one room apartment for 5 years. They worked minimum wage jobs saving every penny,never going out,for those five years,until finally,they opened a Pakistani resteraunt in the worst section of town. It was open 7 days a week,and they all worked there every day. When one of the brothers was shot during a robbery attempt,they had to pay his medical bills. Eventually they made a go of it and had enough money to buy a little grocery store. They kept working like that and eventually managed to buy the frachise for a 7-11,then another,then another.

Now,Bubba,livning in his trailer park,spending his money on cigarettes and beer doesnt want to beleive that. He prefers to beleive what he read on some internet forum. He prefers to think that the guy who runs the 7-11 that he buys those cigarettes and beer from got it all for free from the government rather than having to work his butt off for years. It makes him feel better becuase its far easier for him to think that that guy got a free ride and there is no way he could ever do that himself. The thing is,hes spending 200 dollars a month on cigarets,100 a month on beer,70 bucks a month for his cable tv bill,another 40 a month for internet,60 a month for a cellular phone,and eats most of his meals at McDonalds. He could get ahead too. He could live like a monk for 5 years and open a business. He could go to college. He could do a lot of things. But he doesnt,becuase he would rather wallow in self pity and beleive that the guy who owns the 7-11 got a handout.

It reminds me of the neighbors kid who was thought my brand new Mustang was "really sweet". He asked me "how did you get a car like that." I told him exactly how I did it. I spent 7 years studying engineering and physics. I got several degrees,then I went a got a job. There are a few other ways to do it too. Whining about what other people have is not one of them. The way you do it is invariably hard work.

Now of course,this guy should have been extradited but really,the state department has procedures. They cant do it becuase they are suspicious. That does not fly. In fact,he can fight extradition. Thats a good thing becuase sometimes the charges are total BS. For instance,suppose I marry someone from India,her family is upset,so they bribe a local constible to charge her with a crime,then request extradition. Stuff like that happens.

The thing is though,if the extradition request had come through last year,who knows,it might have ended the same way.

Have you ever dealt with the US State Department? I doubt you have. Since Singh is wanted for murder in India and since there have been serious lapses in the US government, I'm inclined to believe the Indian government.

Now if YOU had read the article it DID NOT say that the papers had been sent to the State Department, what it did say whoever is that the papers had been filed with the Constables office in INDIA and that they sent them back to the filling officer because they said they were messy and illegible. Contrary to what you might believe, there is a lot more to the story than what is being reported here. I recommend you read sources from India and the UK. They paint a different story. But since you've resulted to insults and only seem to care about what MSNBC reports without getting the bigger picture, you're on your own.
