Federal agents in Minnesota are pleading with the public to help identify a teen who may be in danger with other youths.

"We believe the pictured individual is at risk and may need law enforcement assistance, but may not be able to request it," ICE spokesman Shawn Neudauer told msnbc.com on Friday.
The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement office in Minneapolis released still photos from online video showing a dark-haired male teen.
"We believe that if we can identify him, we can remove multiple young people from a dangerous environment," he said.
Neudauer would not comment on the circumstances surrounding the case but said agents discovered images of the teen during a separate investigation.
“We believe he lived or may have lived in Minnesota or western Wisconsin,” Neudauer said. “It is entirely possible this young man is not currently in Minnesota or Wisconsin, but has either a friend or relative in the area, or recently moved from one of those states.”
Neudauer said the photos are still shots from an online video. In the photograph, the teen is pictured wearing a blue and red Minnesota Twins T-shirt. Other details released by ICE:
- The teen is between ages 13 and 19
- Photos were taken in a basement
- The photos are no more than 18 months to 24 months old, based on the Minnesota logo and when it first appeared in the market (July 2010) – also, it appears faded from several washings.
“Tips have been coming in and we have a good number of leads, but we’re still investigating the case,” he said.

They probably can't release the video because it contains child pornography. My best guess is that he was smuggled into the US to be used as a sex slave, the pedo posted the video online, and while investigating a child smuggling case, they stumbled on this case.
They probably need to know who their family/friends are so they can at least know where he was smuggled from (City/Country) and start an investigation.

What is everyone now trying to be news casters? Why all the speculation? Maybe this or maybe that...

You all can't be this stupid not to read between the lines. It says, there are numerous youths that could be saved from a dangerous environment. They are guessing the age here and location. looks like a basement with poor lighting and some sort of camera by his side, he's being filmed and his face looks cold and expressionless. Now what the hell do you think is going on? They are looking for any leads to identity so they can build a profile. Anybody has viable information, call it in.
Ok.. so everyone saw the imageshack post right? If he was forced into this, that is terrible, if it was on his own accord, go get him.
It seems like it could be something with human trafficking. That's really sad. I live in western Wisconsin and it's hard to think that type of thing could be here. I hope they find him and any others in danger and that they are all okay...
There are reasons why more info is not available. Like people said, it could endanger him. I am thinking it could be they found pics of him involved in something illegal, maybe sexual, and so can not mention it for some reason including the possibility it could harm his future.
Just the look on the kid's face says something. He looks anxious; nervous and maybe a little frightened. But like others have said, this story doesn't provide a whole lot of information to go by. I hope he's found safe.
Call me jaded but if ICE or Homeland Security is looking for you... perhaps it's not to your benefit. The benevolence of ICE / Homeland Security / Department of Defense is like a unicorn: Frequently claimed, infrequently witnessed.

he was charged with sexual assault and exploitation of a child, and "all of us" ruined his life? that's a little backwards if you ask me.
I have to comment The story is vague YES This is why they are asking for any help. IF the story was NOT vague then I doubt they would ask for ANY HELP.
