Circuit Court Judge Kenneth Lester is apparently weighing whether to grant bail to George Zimmerman after Friday's hearing. NBC's Kerry Sanders reports.
A bail hearing in Sanford, Fla. for George Zimmerman concluded Friday after a heated exchange in which prosecutors argued for denying bond and the defense called on the judge to reinstate the defendant's $150,000 bail, which was revoked in early June.
Circuit Court Judge Kenneth Lester was weighing the arguments and will issue his ruling by written order, a public information officer for the Seminole County court said. The spokesman did not offer the timing of that order.
Zimmerman, charged with second-degree murder in the February shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, is seeking release on bail for the second time. His initial bail of $150,000 was revoked and he was rearrested on June 3, after prosecutors argued that Zimmerman, with the aid of his wife's testimony, had misled the court about their financial picture in the first bail hearing on April 20.
Zimmerman has pleaded not guilty to the murder charge, and asserted that he acted in self-defense.
Earlier in the three-hour proceedings, Zimmerman's father, Robert John Zimmerman, took the stand briefly.
After the elder Zimmerman was sworn in, defense attorney Mark O'Mara played a witness 911 tape that captured the sounds of screaming and a shot being fired during the fatal encounter between Trayvon and Zimmerman.
Under questioning by O'Mara, the elder Zimmerman said he told state investigators that the voice of the man screaming "was absolutely George's."
Assistant State Attorney Bernie de la Rionda then questioned Robert Zimmerman, asking how his son could make those screaming noises if, as George Zimmerman told police, Martin was covering his nose and mouth.
Robert Zimmerman responded: "From the look of my son's injuries, Trayvon Martin's hands were not just on his nose and mouth."
The court heard testimony from firefighter Kevin O'Rourke, of the Sanford Fire Department, who was called to the scene after the shooting. O'Rourke, who said he attended to Zimmerman, answered questions about the severity of the shooter's injuries.
"I observed that he had blood on his face and the back of his head," O'Rourke said.
He said that Zimmerman's nose was "obviously deformed," agreeing with defense attorney Don West that the injury was consistent with a broken nose. But under questioning by prosecutor de la Rionda, O'Rourke said he didn't diagnose Zimmerman with a broken nose.
The court was also shown the last minutes of a video taken by Sanford police on Feb. 27 in which Zimmerman discusses wounds to his nose and head.
Zimmerman appeared at the hearing wearing a grey suit, after O'Mara had successfully argued that showing up in prison garb and shackles could damage his client's chances of getting a fair trial.
Martin's older brother Jahvaris Martin attended the hearing, along with Trayvon's parents, Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton. The family was escorted -- and sat with -- family attorney Benjamin Crump.
Following the money
At the start of the hearing, the first witness to testify, at the request of Zimmerman's defense attorney Mark O'Mara, was an accounting expert Adam MaGill, who detailed a series of money transfers conducted by the defendant's wife, using money contributed for his legal defense.
MaGill, who was called by the defense, said he was asked by O'Mara to look at records of money transfers from Zimmerman's PayPal account to the official legal defense fund later established by O'Mara.
The judge determined that Zimmerman and his wife Shellie misled the court about their finances his first bail hearing.
Shellie Zimmerman testified at that April 20 proceeding that she did not know how much money was in a PayPal account set up for contributions to her husband's legal defense.
In recorded telephone conversations from jail prior to that date, Zimmerman and his wife appear to discuss — in thinly disguised code — the amount of money in the account, and he instructs her to make a series of transfers to other accounts, the prosecution charges. (Read original report.)
Special Prosecutor Angela Corey used the recordings to persuade the judge to revoke the original bond for George Zimmerman. Shellie Zimmerman was arrested on June 12, charged with perjury and released on $1,000 bond.
She was not present at Friday's bond hearing for her husband.
O’Mara told NBC on Thursday that if Zimmerman is released on bond, he would go back into hiding for his own safety. The shooting death of Martin, an unarmed black teenager, in February has stirred an emotional national debate about race, gun rights and "stand your ground" laws like the one in Florida that use a broad definition of self-defense.
NBC's Lisa Lampkin contributed to this report.

what does this have to do with Zimmerman?
Looks like mimi either forgot her meds or took too many.
Cosmos for breakfast.
Let the poor guy out, where's he going to go?? They are all set up to hang him anyway to appease the blacks, so cut him some slack.
Keen Insight , and anyone who reprats the mantra " unarmed teenager with a can of iced tea and a bag of Skittles. Please GOOGLE: LEAN, this is a street drug made by combining Skittles, canned Iced Tea and liquid codine. You can see in crime scene photos that the iced tea id Watermelon the favored choice of flavors. Stop the hate.
Pathetic.
So; Last night in Houston:
2 burglars shot by homeowner ( one dead one damn near)
1 guy stealing beer from a (poor neighborhood) convenience store: Dead
No fuss; no drill; dealing with scum the Texas way
Um........ Everything!!! lol
George Zimmerman made the mistake of committing his crime in florida, which has a somewhat better justice system than Texas. The key point is that Trayvon Martin was not burglarizing or stealing, and George Zimmerman has a prior criminal record! What can we conclude from that?
Answer: Nothing!
@ Kent McMillian I agree...I don't understand wearing a suit would make ppl look at him different....he has himself damage his own credibilty. I don't know what the Florida law is going to do about this case but he has no reason to be out on the streets he was given a chance to make bail he lied and tried to hide funds to beat the system. My thing is what do they expect the judge, prosecutors, lawyers and the public to think? Along with him still holding a additional green card??????????????
George Zimmerman's hands was very itchy for black blood. He went hunting for some and stumbled on this youth and decided to experiment on the innocent unarmed young man...Then tried to cover it up with his filthy lies. the young man was no superman to suffocate this lying fool and banging his head at the same time grabbing for his gun. Use your common sense what God have given you, and no book sense. He should not be given freedom for being a cunning fox and a seasoned liar.
You open your statement with assumptions and racist ignorance. Why am I not surprised that the rest of your comment is pretty useless drivel? Care to show any proof to any of your allegations?
GZ supporters are really not supporting GZ, because of great concern for his personal justice. I'm sure if these people saw GZ in the street they would assume him "illegal" or "Lazy Mexican" based on his brown skin and whatever stereotype goes with it. What they are really protecting is their racist spirit. Their belief that a Black person, (and this extends to other ethnic minorities as well) should have no rights. A Black man/child should have no value in this society, a society that should uphold their right to kill then with no consequence. The belief that a White mans word is always the truth when held up to the words of a Black person. Sadly, there are people who work within our justice system that hold these same views which is why the murder investigation took the direction that it did. It is my belief that there are more Americans living within our diverse society that are good..not perfect but good. These knuckle dragging racists that pledge this so called support for Zimmerman are really in the minority..Thank God!!!! Rest in peace Travon, and know that the injustice of your murder isknown all over the world. The hearts of good people morn your loss and that of your family. Your murder WILL bring about change! JUSTICE for Travon and all the Travons before you.
1 deleted, mimi3's first comment on the site...all about health insurance. Very off-topic.
Then maybe he should have killed great-grandfather as he was black, and anyone down that lineage as they would have a percentage accordingly (himself included).
Or maybe he should have killed the black homeless man that he helped to defend when everyone else in the community was scared to take on the Sanford police department as Zimmerman attacked them.
Or maybe he should have killed one of the many kids that he and his wife voluntarily tutor for free on the weekends.
Seems that if he was as "itchy" as you seem to indicate, he's had a whirlwind of opportunity quite literally since the day he was born. Or maybe you're one of the people that decided he was guilty as soon as you heard the doctored police call that was leaked by the media after conveniently splicing out the part out where he was asked by the police if the person in question was white or black, you yourself ready to persecute, prosecute, and execute for some sadistic reason.
How many times does zimmerman get to lie?
I'm supporting a person's right (regardless of race) to use force necessary to defuse a situation, as is our right. I'm supporting a CWP owner's right to defend themself and their family in the face of someone that is causing lethal harm about them.
The rest of your post is racist gibberish so I'll choose to ignore it...and I AM one of those (as you call us) "Lazy Mexicans", my grandfather moving here from Mexico City himself.
We have a legal system in this country for a reason and I'll choose to see and hear ALL the evidence before I decide this case (or any other for that matter).
If this whole thing was turned around and a white man was killed instead of a black man then everyone would be alright but since a black was killed , Zimmerman is the same as dead. What an evil time we are living in ..Sounds like we don't have the right to defend ourselves anymore..They will still keep trying to screw around with Zimmerman's mind to make him guilty regurdless of the circumstances ..Zimmerman you were right to defend yourself..We all hope you the best ! God Bless You !
less2bits banned - the rare call for genocide that smears the would-be eliminated and eliminators. Kind of remarkable. Comment history wasn't much better than this.
@ ICURHOOD,
what your are saying is non sens. did you hear about this story not long ago in VA ? and many many story like this shows up and we barely hear about it, or the 76 years old white man that got beat up ny 3 punk? what ? no comment ?..... google this:
Norfolk, Va , white couple was attacked by dozens of black teenagers
Shadow, I completely agree.
So far, zimmerman is innocent!
@Bandit I keep telling racist crackers like you that only racists refer to Black people as an adjective. Yes, you are talking to an educated, lawabiding, employed Black man. "The Blacks" as you put it is a racial insult meant to dehumanize and demean the 38 million African Americans in this country, many of whom protect your racist behind by serving in our Armed Forces. Black by itself is an adjective meant to modify the noun that comes after it (i.e. Black people, Black man, Black girl, Black teenager, etc, etc.). I've noticed in this and every other forum that only a certain type of person refers to us Black American citizens as "the blacks": racists like you. If you are that uneducated then you should get off the forum and return to elementary school and learn the difference between nouns, verbs, adjectives, prepositions, etc.
Zimmerman in court today looks exactly like what he is - The Devil. Keep his lying $$$ in prison until his trial. No special treatment for this white man. OJ had to stay in prison up to and during his entire trial. Keep this murdering animal in the cage that he's in now.
OMG!!! BOO-F*CKIN-HOO!!! About the comment before mine... You are all a bunch of ANIMALS!!! Uncivilized animals!!! If you think a 17yr old moon cricket wouldn't have done that sh!t, trying to be tough, & a "NO LIMIT N!GGA" so he could've told his victory story (HA!) to his bros, you need to get your head out of your a55 & admit it. No civilization at all!! Look @ what happened @ Katrina, look @ Rodney King, & OJ. Don't EVEN try that "but we was wronged!!" "errbodyi s racists!!" YES, I DID SPELL IT LIKE THAT ON PURPOSE, BECAUSE THAT'S HOW IT SOUNDS WHEN IT COMES OUT OF THEIR MOUTHS!! UGH!!!
Champ? There is absolutely no comparison of OJ to Zimmerman - zip, squat. Zimmerman should be out on bond and is NOT a flight risk.
I for one, agree there are many racist here, when some kid can be killed for nothing more than walking home and all these WHITE folks think its right, there is no question as to how they think or feel, but if the kid was WHITE they would want Zimmerman in prison for the rest of his life, can you all see the difference, there is NO DOUBTS who's the racist are. All you folks should start your comment with I'm a RACIST and proud of it, Man up instead of hiding behind your computers.
@champ
you started with you racist crackers, are you to stupid to realize thats a racist remark against all whites? and nobody cares how educated you claim to be. to the point of this case tho, zimmerman was told by police dispatch not to follow travon martin and he did anyway. he also got out of the car in which he was in following martin. he also had a loaded gun that he could have avoided using by simply doing as the police told him, DO NOT FOLLOW . thats why he is guilty.. but you are guilty of the same racism that you speak out against. so as educated as you claim to be you dont come off as smart as you mite think. and i am also a licensed concealed weapons holder. i could follow a person of any color around long enough and sooner or later they will say something to me that i could use as a way to start a fight and eventually shoot them. i wouldnt because im a law abiding citizen and when he was told not to follow he should have listened and this young man wouldnt be dead. if you think somethings worth reporting to the police do that then let them handle it. he will be found guilty imho but not because american africans say so but because of the fact that he didnt listen and he caused the death of a young man that did not have to die.
You go CHAMP!
@Shawn [a.k.a. "Shadow"]
So let me understand you clearly.......George Zimmerman was defusing a situation that he clearly created. Oxymoron much? That's like saying I am the perpetrator and the victim. Last I heard George's family was perfectly safe when this took place and the only person that had lethal harm done to him is dead ( that would be Treyvon Martin) and he's not here to tell his side of the story. Please get out of here with your self righteous BS. This is a sick world we live in. Let's see if you will be feeling the same way when you're racially profiled, or your sons or daughters or even you grandfather for that matter. If one of them are innocently killed will you still be singing the same song? Of coarse not because then you'll be looking for sympathy for you love one.
Everyone has their own opinion. But the way people are responding about a young man's life getting cut short over something like this. Regardless of color. I have young sons and could not image being in the Martin family's shoes. I remember watching a news program when this 1st happened and it was a forensic expert on that said that Zimmermans nose more than likely got fractured when the gun backfired on him. He also probably banged his head. Why would he have to be screaming like that when he had the gun.. for all we know he approached the boy with gun drawn..seems more likely the reason Trayvon was yelling, poor boy was scared for his life. And lets say Trayvon did beat Zimmerman he was using self defense. As the investigator Serino said what reason would Trayvon have to be so angry about to just jump out and hit Zimmerman? ...LETS HAVE SOME COMMON SENSE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Sam2468 "
Stop being a puppet. He was not killed for wearing a hoody. He was not killed for having skittles. He was no killed for having ice tea. He was not killed for being black.
He was killed for punching a man in the face knocking him to the ground...getting on top of him and bouncing his head off the cement while he screamed for help. The evidence supports these facts. In short, he was killed in self defense.
History shows Treyvon was a wanna be thug. Again, stop being a liberal puppet.
Very well said SMB! So many people are just going with the skin color side and don't care to hear any evidence. And the sad part is these same people vote the same way.
less2bits has the right idea but gets banned for expressing his freedom of speech/opinion!! huh tyler?! :))) Like he can't get another account.....smh, gotta love this controlled site!! Glad there are others!
To the contrary, what it will come down to is not who started a verbal altercation, but who took it to a physical level. You can argue and scream with each other face to face all you'd like and quite honestly...no one will do anything (except look at you foolishly). It happens all the time and people don't go to court over it (unless they go for disturbing the peace).
However, when it goes from verbal to physical, you then have a different story. If someone screams in my face, I do NOT have the right to put my hands on them. (Nor, as a CWP do I have the right to pull my weapon on them.) Even if someone spits at me, I do NOT have the right to defend myself physically...because they haven't done anything physically threatening to me. If someone takes a swing at me, I do have the right to defend myself (but I still do NOT have the right to pull my weapon on them.) However, if someone is bashing my head in the ground and I believe my life to be threatened, I DO have the right to defend myself to the extent necessary to defuse the situation (and I DO have the right to pull my weapon).
This court case will not come down to do Zimmerman follow Travon to check his intent, and it won't come down to did Trayvon threaten Zimmerman with a "You have a problem?" instigation. What it will come down to is who took it to a physical level.
And trust me - it's hardly "self righteous" as you would choose to call it. It's removing emotion from everything and attempting to make sense of just the facts about the case, something the media has NOT wanted to happen from the beginning because facts don't sell, a ranting emotion public sells.
I watched the hearing on the Internet; a big surprise, the prosecutor admitted that Martin had struck Zimmerman, and their eye witness, admitted Zimmerman was on the ground being punched, the prosecutor then said, Zimmerman was not hurt that badly, as to justify deadly force; that is not 2nd degree murder, manslaughter at a stretch; , the judge was even taken back at the prosecutors statement.
OK...Here it is in a Nutshell.....Denial of bail cannot be used as a punishment....Even if he ticked off the Judge about the Money....Bail is only denied if the person is a risk to society or a flight risk from Justice....Neither of which Zimmerman is....If he was going to flee, he would have taken all that PayPal money and done it already .......
He complied fully with the terms of his previous bail. A high bail would require a Bail Bondsman who would then be financially responsible for Zimmerman's return for proceedings. Bail Bondsmen keep an eye on their "money" !!!..... He'll still be wearing the ankle monitor...In testimony today the parole/probation officer reported NO violations...
In my opinion it would be wrong to deny him bail...even if it were higher, but not insurmountably higher...
Innocent till proven guilty.
I hate to say this but everyday on MSN. The newspapers aren't wasting any ink unless it is somthing really new about ol' George. This guy is getting as much publicity as O J Simpson. The only thing we're missing here is the great legal speed limit Police chase.
saxon...(#2.35).....I watched the whole hearing too....The Persecutor tried to make Zimmerman out to be Jack The Ripper, The Boston Strangler, Bernie Madoff and the KKK all rolled into one...He was a disgrace.
In that one interview Zimmerman was talking and lying just like a cop. I know, I have had prima facie evidence that a cop lied in front of a load of spunk that called himself a judge and what do you know, the judge sucked off the cop right in the courtroom. I think he will get off just like cops that shoot the wrong person 50 times, like the wasted sperm swine that called Ken Chamberlain the Vietnam vet with the heart monitor a Nig**r before he shot him to death. We need a French like revolution complete with guillotines.
Well if Holder gets off scott free, so should Zimmerman!
Champ-3093047, you're suspended for a week for violating #1 and #5 of the Code of Honor.
Coldredd banned, racism + #1 violations + history.
Sam2468, you're suspended for a day for violating #1 of the Code of Honor.
Computers are how you comment on the internet. 'Manning up' is not a useful concept.
Saxon, fascinating. I wish I could have watched that. In my opinion, the actual trial will blow that episode out of the water. The prosecution has nothing on Zimmerman for a 2nd degree murder charge???? Ha! I am quite amused at what you observed at the hearing today.... FYI - I don't know what the judge has to mull over with regard for bond for Zimmerman. He should grant it, but I am not a lawyer.
SMB-2043421, you're suspended for a day for violating #1 of the Code of Honor.
@Shawn [a.k.a. "Shadow"]
First of all I know for sure that this mans head could not have been slammed, bashed, or even pushed into the concrete and he being able to walk away. We're talking severe head injury. His skull would have been fractured, and if Treyvon did it as many times as this man said he definitely would not have been able to get off the ground due to his concussion, basilar skull fracture and he would have slipped into a coma. We're talking (according to George Zimmerman) his head was being slammed into the hard concrete several time. No if this were true how is it he does not have brain damage, he got up not even dizzy due to the concussion. Hell he even walked and his middle ear wasn't affected at all. Trust me being a nurse if this really happen to Zimmerman he would not have been able to find his gun because of the severe damage to his head. THAT LIE WILL NOT HOLD WATER.
I'm a GZ supporter and no more racist than you are.
My BFF is black and she is a GZ supporter too.
We are supporters of innocent until proven guilty and the law.
Thus far, with the evidence that we, the public are privy to - there is no evidence of "murder" under definition of the law whatsoever.
Even today, the paramedic who responded that night stated that GZ had blood all over him, a broken nose and lacerations on the back of his head that he thought required stitches. So GZ was assaulted - which is exactly what he said.
TM's father initially (see the videotape that was released of him), said the voice yelling "was not his son." After finding out more about the situation, there is a reversal now and he is saying the voice yelling "was most definitely my son." So is he lying? Was he lying then or now?
Doesn't matter what either GZ or TM's father says--the defense and/or prosecution will get a proper voice analysis using GZ's voice also (unlike the first attempt), which will prove who's voice it is. And if it's proven to be GZ's voice--what then?
The ONLY marks on TM was the gunshot wound and a scrape on his knuckle. If GZ was indeed on top of TM and beating him up, how come no bruises, no marks, no scratches, no broken nose, no lacerations on the back of his head, no marks, except for the one that killed him? And thus far, there's no evidence that it was an upward trajectory of the bullet. I'm sure we'll hear more about that at trial.
The audio of the 911 call from a witness indicates there were more than 10+ screams for help in 40 seconds. So if it was TM on the bottom and GZ on top, it took, what 40 seconds for GZ to draw his gun and give TM the chance to scream, and scream, and scream, and not try to get away, grab for the gun, anything? Now THAT is what doesn't make sense.
GZ's story (of the night in question) is backed up by his injuries and 4 eyewitness accounts (doesn't matter if they are trying to backtrack now--there goes their credibility). They were either lying then, or lying now.
So, who made this a racist issue - the African American community. No one else, they automatically assumed because it wasn't black on black crime that it must have been racist.
Which unfortunately, has become the typical response of the AA community when a crime has been commited and not by one of their own. One of their own doesn't even deserve mention by the Al Sharpton's and Jesse Jackson's. But let it be another race and whoa, the fight is on. They care less about their own people and more about keeping the race war going and baiting the American people.
And you guys feed right into it with all your hate mongering and racist comments.
Kimbo47
Absolutely true !
GZ is innocent !
A paramedic can only "rule out" broken nose, can't diagnose a broken nose, that takes a xray. My best friend is Black and she's a GZ supporter! ROTHLMAO! That was funny!
Thank you,for stating this.If Z's nose was so deformed-it could have been like that before the confrontation and who the heck straightened it afterward? He clearly has a perfectly straight nose now.It would have been more compelling to have heard the physician/radiologist speak about this IF an xray was done to prove a diagnosis. The head bleeding is not impressive info as head wounds near always bleed alot.Note to judge-stick to objective data instead of subjective.
Good point...who cares if it was broken or not, his nose was clearly hit an bleeding, which aligns with his story, no need to worry about whether it was broken or not...Same with head wounds, we could argue all day about how many and how much they were bleeding, but we all know that there were several cuts and bleeding to the back of his head which aligns with his story...
A broken nose, small cuts, and abraisions?!?!?! And this constitues the used of DEADLY FORCE?!?!? Yea, if your a punk, and a sissy!!!
Some free advice George, take out your iphone earplugs when the part about "Do you swear to tell the truth" comes up.
I shake my head. I'm glad Zimmerman was arrested and charged, as just about anyone would be after killing an unarmed teenager who was found with only a can of ice tea and a bag of candy. I'm still unsure of what there was about this kid that made him so suspicious to Zimmerman in the first place.
But I also have to wonder about people who have sent this money to Zimmerman in appreciation of his having killed, in his words "a punk who was likely out to hurt and woman and her baby" and who elevate him to a hero status. Pretty sad.
zimmerman doesn't want to be in jail---well travon did not want to be dead. he should live with the consequences of his actions. big tough man harasses and murders a kid and now can't handle being locked up. can't handle a fight which he provoked with a teenager so he pulls out a gun and executes him. in my mind this is first degree murder and accused murderers should not be out on bail.
If we can agree that Trayvon came back and jumped Zimmerman then your posts have ZERO merit.
I am getting very tired of the idiotic sentiment that many people have of this poor "kid" who had only skittles and tea.
The gullibility of my fellow American is very disheartening. On the other hand if you are a proponent for socialism then you should be happy because we are just about there.
Dear lemmings. This is a 100% media driven event. The media screwed up in the first place when they thought a white man killed a black kid. The media further screwed up by posting pictures of 13 year old Trayvon and stating Zimmerman was stalking a housing complex with a Tec-9 submachine gun. All of you, President Obama, and Spike Lee took it the next step by making these lies legitimate.
CNN still runs Trayvon stories with that stupid kid picture.
Wake up call! Carry your sorry tails down to 10th street homes in Atlanta GA. Poll the "17 year old kids" you find. Please try not to get killed or buy crack rock.
When they bring Dee Dee on the stand, being that she is the only person that knows what happened, be prepared for her to break. She told Trayvon to go kick Zimmerman's tail. She filled Trayvon's empty head with bravado and she is the one that caused Trayvon's death.
All of you lemmings will feel really, REALLY, stupid when this case is over.
Murders a kid....that kid was beating Z's head on the sidewalk and broke his nose! Murders a kid, some people don't get it. At what point would determine you were going to die? Was that before of after you were be suffocated, maybe you would wait until that dull thud of your head hitting the concrete turned into a loud crack and then the lights go out. I guess that is what the smart thing to do...Play dead, sometimes it works with bears!! LMAO.
They are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to stupid to understand what you r saying
Amazing how everyone else is clueless, while you appear to be all-knowing. So, we can all assume you were there and witnessed Trayvon's murder? The 911 calls telling him not to follow Trayvon are all I need to tell me Zimmerman is GUILTY. Period. No one else's statements mean anything.
Bottom line: George Zimmerman thought he was a bad-*ss and got beat up by a 17 yr old boy he was told NOT to follow - his only way out of his own mess was to shoot. His screaming like a little girl on the 911 call background proves what a puss he is. Don't start sh*t with someone you don't know if you're not qualified to do so.
Jail at this point in time isn't considered a punishment. He's still innocent until proven guilty, and unless he is a flight risk- which they have proven he isn't- then he should be granted bail.
Obviously your mind doesn't comprehend how laws work, and the requirements for something to be first degree murder. Not surprising based on the rest of your post.
Who said they sent him money in appreciation? People who aren't predisposed to an automatic opinion of the situation (as in, those who take an objective look at the evidence and case) feel he was defending himself. Those people don't want to see someone get slaughtered because of the racial implications of people who have a predisposed opinion of what happened based solely on the race of Trayvon.
Nice to know you have absolutely no idea of how things work, and have absoloutely no regard for how the law works. FYI, that 911 dispatcher doesn't have the authority to tell anyone what to do, and no matter what he said, Zimmerman was within his rights to get out of his truck and try to see where Trayvon went.
Sorry. But I would fight for my life, too, if I noticed a stranger running after me. And I hope all kids would.
bikrgrl,
You dont have to be there.
Practically all of the evidence is public domain now.
They have maps.
Most of your fellow apologists already have excuses.
Let me share my favorites.
"Trayvon had the right to defend himself from a stalker."
"Trayvon was scared for Chad's life and wanted to defend the house."
"If some fat white guy was following me I would kick his *** too!"
When Dee Dee breaks you folks will come up with a whole new line of excuses.
I cant wait.
ROFL look at the post above this one!!!
F'n priceless!~
Children of America, please ignore Keeninsight.
If you are being followed by a stranger please go immediately to your neighbors house and bang on the door.
Thank you.
Take down that Avatar troll, you do not speak for the US Army.
Biker nice reasonable post-- This dude stalked a kid and got his ass whipped, and the trolls here think it is alright to kill someone because you cannot fight. American gun culture is a travesty.
Looking at the evidence, there is no way that Zimmerman could have caught Trayvon in the distance that they were from Trayvon's temporary residence. Due to that, it is obvious that Trayvon either waited in that area (possibly to see if he was still being followed) or doubled back.
That doesn't answer whether he struck first, but it does lead credulence to that fact- paired with the fact that Trayvon has no wounds on him indicating he was hit at any point in time prior to being shot, it's quite obvious that he had to have struck Zimmerman first- as he was the only one who did any striking at all.
Anyone who feels differently- show the facts. We know (FACTUALLY) that Trayvon had no marks on him to indicate he was struck. We know (FACTUALLY) that the distance between the incident and Trayvon's temporary residence was minimal. We know (FACTUALLY) that while Zimmerman was in his truck, Trayon attempted to approach him (indicated by Zimmerman's recorded call, and the original statement from the girlfriend was that Trayvon stated he was going to find out 'what his deal is'- which has now been changed and I can't seem to find anywhere, so unless it can be found we STILL have the recording of Zimmerman stating Trayvon was walking towards him, then turned around and went back the other way.)
So anyone who feels differently, feel free to post the FACTS showing why you feel differently.
I guess all you Martin supporters would also say that Joey Scott - the 6'0 200 lb black guy who recently murdered a school busdriver in the Bronx by punching him in the face was a "scared child" who was "fightng for his life"
...gve me a friggin' break
Where did I say I did? I'm in the US Army if that matters (which it doesn't.)
How about you reply to my post, and not attempt to assault my icon, troll. Oh wait- you can only do that if you have something useful to say. Never mind, keep showing your lack of information.
You could fight for your life if your life was in danger. Having someone walking in the same direction as you isn't considered being in danger- so go for it, and catch your assault charge (or a round in the chest, if you assault someone who happens to be carrying a weapon.)
Or better yet- hang up the phone on your girlfriend and call 911.
One small point that is neither for or against GZ's actions: When "celebrities" such as Sandusky and Zimmerman are in jail, whether pending trial or as a result of conviction, they are held in virtual solitary confinement "for their own safety." The problem with this is that it doesn't take much solitary confinement to drive a person absolutely buggy. It is a frequent complaint in appeals or some trials that the defendant/appeler has been in isolation so long that they are not able to assist in their own defense/appeal.
The longer GZ stays in jail, the wierder he is likely to act during his trial.
But, the bottom line is that he brought it on himself by telling lies to the judge. The judge is not someone you want doubting your honesty or credibility.
You are what is wrong with America.
30 years ago if you made that statement to a room of adults you would be laughed at.
I weep for our future.
Skittles + Iced Tea + liquid codeine= Lean. Please Google LEAN. Social media posts by Trayvon Martin talk about using it again. Look at the number of street fighting sites Trayvon was hooked on.
Starting to look like ol" Charlie Manson may live to see his race war yet.White folk and black folk screaming racist at each other.Sooner or later (probably sooner) sh!t is going to hit the fan. As a Native American all I'm going to do is sit back and watch!
Thanks for the post about LEAN. I had no idea. That really explains things and considering Trayvon posted that he took the stuff it is practically a no brainer.
Thanks again.

For someone who pummeled another with his fists "MMA style," it's strange that there were no marks on Martin's hands other than a small scratch on a pinky finger. And all the blood pouring from Zimmerman's head and nose, none of Zimmerman's blood on Martin's hands or clothes. Good work, prosecutor, in getting the paramedic to state how easily abrasive injuries to the head bleed. I guess Trayvon is just being neat while he's beating someone's ass, saying "yuck, I'm gonna beat his head in but I don't want any of his blood on my hands."
Curiouser and curiouser....
to reply-----when you are stalked by a complete stranger for no reason known to you and are afraid for your life your rights , which are constitutionally guaranteed ,to '' be left alone unmolested'' are being violated. if a confrontation ensues and the stalker has a gun on his person ( which he intends to use) it is premeditated murder. no one carries a gun if he does not intend to use it. apprehension of suspected criminals is done by law enforcement not a self appointed vigilante. zimmerman couldn't handle a fight with a teenager and was taking a whooping------zimmerman does not get to end a fist fight with a gun. it would be reasonable to assume he did not think the teenager had a gun-if he thought he had a gun he should have called in professional law enforcement and backed off. i question zimmermans mental health -his actions were abnormal- i think he is a sick predator.
Just why is everyone set on accepting Zimmermans statement that Martin "Came out on nowhere and jumped him". The mans proved he'll lie.
b
First thing this is not about a Trayvonne Supporter b'cus I by no means support anything unjust. George should have left the boy alone and let the authorities come and questioned him on where he was doing over in the area. Nothing they would have done b'cus he wasn't doing anything but the fact is he should have left the situation to the police. Who cares about his material stuff! Secondly he can't live there right now in his material stuff! This boy has lost his life over a angry man protecting his stuff thinking any black kid was a theif. Third this was a punk to allow this 17yr boy to kick his azzzzzz and the only thing he could do is pull out an gun and kill this boy. George brought all the charges against him on hisself I don't believe George was sreaming I think it was Trayvonne just seeing this man pull out a weapon and knowing he was about to die will make you scream.
One thing you don't do ppl is mess with a black male b'cus they will kick you azzzz. When it come to life we want to live. I am not a fighter I am a lover but if it come to my life I will kick your azzzzzz and I don't have to fight with a gun I will tear your azzzzzzzz up with my fist in your face. I live by being classy but just don't take my appearance and my job description lightly!!!!!!!
Because the facts support it.
We know Trayvon was between Zimmerman and the residence he was staying.
We know Zimmerman lost sight of Trayvon while on the phone with dispatch.
We know the incident occurred in very close proximity to where Zimmerman was on the phone with dispatch.
So unless you are advocating that Zimmerman managed to catch up to and drag Trayvon back to that location, Trayvon would have been in the house before Zimmerman ended the call with dispatch. The only other options is if Trayvon either waited, or doubled back.
Just as Stephen has proved Stephan will lie. How much bs can you put in a 100lb bag?
What Zimmerman did does not constitute stalking. Following sure- but that is not illegal.
Show me anywhere in the constitution that it states everyone has a right to 'be left alone unmolested'.
So you cannot show where Zimmerman stated he inteded to shoot Trayvon. That means you are making things up to have the situation fit your predetermined idea of what happened, regardless of the facts. Just because a person has a weapon on them, does not mean they intend to use it on a specific person- and murder 1 requires intent to murder that person.
Intending on defending yourself if attacked does not mean you are intending on killing someone.
Either show where Zimmerman intended to apprehend Trayvon, or quit making things up.
He does if he didn't start the fist fight and he felt his life was in danger.
Your assumptions are based on your making things up to turn the situation to your way of thinking. You fail at it pretty badly, and didn't bother to post any facts to corroborate your statements. Don't bother replying anymore, I have a habit of putting ignorant people who like to make things up on my ignore list.
What you feel he should have done and what he was legally within his rights to do are two completely different things. I feel the same- he should have just left it alone- but that doesn't negate the rights he has to defend himself if attacked, it doesn't negate the right to talk to someone, or the ability to try and see where someone is to better inform law enforcement.
KeenInsight
Thank you. I have had a problem with that piece of evidence ever since I heard it. How do you beat someone bloody without getting their blood on you? I have posted several comments about this, and the Zimmerman supporters have yet to explain how that could happen. I have practiced Shorin-Ryu karate for years, and even if you are trained you are going to have marks, on your knuckles at least, from beating someone in the face. Any martial arts practitioner will tell you that the face is actually one of the least effective places to strike someone, and that punches to head have more chance of hurting your hand than hurting your opponent.
So seriously, will someone please explain to me how Martin had no Zimmerman blood on him and how the only mark on his hands was a small abrasion on his pinky?
For all of you talking about "LEAN" and trying to insinuate that Trayvon was using it, I suggest you read the ME's report and see that all he had was a negligible about of THC in his system. Cocaine was not found in Trayvon's system and to suggest he was using or planning to use it with the ice tea and Skittles he had with him is ignorant at very best.
No, the "facts" do not support his doubling back. The "fact" that Zimmerman said it, doesn't make it a "fact"...
everybody should know if you carry a gun sooner or later you are gonna use it. Zimmermans a big boy he has to face the music. Lying to a judge is bad, getting caught lying to a judge is really bad. When you carry a gun and get caught lying to a judge you should go to jail and stay there.
Justin/Keensight,
If you read the DNA testing from the police reports, both parties had each others, and their own, blood on their clothing so that answers part of your question.
SirCheese,
The exact timeline (from the official times of Zimmerman's call as well as the call where the gunshot can be heard) does support the idea that Trayvon doubled back, or at the very least stopped.
Zimmerman is on the phone for about a minute after he loses sight of Trayvon. The 911 phonecall with the screaming in the background is placed 1 minute and 20 seconds later. The gunshot is about 40-45 seconds after that.
It would be kind of hard for Zimmerman to make up a 1 minute+ head-start in only ~1 minute.
Shay Hill
Yea, No Limit be bad to the bone, and now No Limit be eating dirt, looks like No Limit found out his limit was a 9mm hollow point.
Really? Have you bothered reading the evidence? It is public information, in the form of a 178 page PDF document. You can look for it- I don't have the link handy.
Not to mention the fact that you could walk the distance of the incident to the temporary residence where Trayvon was staying in less than a minute. Also not to mention the fact that the location of the incident is in immediate proximity to where Zimmerman was giving his location to the dispatcher- so how did Zimmerman chase Trayvon down from there, yet the altercation took place in that location? Zimmerman must have drug Trayvon back to that spot for that to have happened.
Trayvon had no duty to "run on home", he very likely DID stop behind the houses, once he thought he had "lost" the crazy white dude, that was following him! GZ on the other hand was told, he didn't need to follow Trayvon. GZ has acknowledged that he was told not to follow, and he said he stopped...
Of course, when questioned further, he says he continued walking in same direction (not following) then, while still on phone with police dispatcher, he says (in his own words) that he walked back to his car. He had 84 seconds while still on phone with police and however long after he hung up, to get back to his vehicle...
Why didn't GZ get back in his car and wait for police?
http://184.172.211.159/~gzdocs/documents/statements/audio_interview_0229_3.mp3
Anthony, that is the part that you don't get. We do not agree that is what happened. This is pure speculation that there was any attack initiated by Martin. Both parties deserve to have the evidence preserved, and to have that tried in court. The killer's word is only half of the story. Unfortunately, the evidence will have to tell the other half of the story thanks to the killer.
"How do you beat someone bloody without getting their blood on you?"
Well. I am not actually sure, but a long time ago in my youth, I was involved in a bar fight.
(yeah it was over some stupid stuff, but this guy was determined to pick a fight) Anyway, I pummeled this drunk to a bloody mess, (I had on a class ring at the time) without getting any on me, nor did I even scrape a knuckle. I don't how I avoided getting any blood on me, but there you have it. I have only my word, but I know it is possible, despite what you people who watch too many Hollywood movies wish to believe.
SirCheese - Wow you have to seriously uninformed about this case. The facts simply support he either waited around or doubled back. Can anyone (including you) explain then how the altercation was at the exact place he ran away from when it was almost a full TWO minutes before GZ got off the phone and how long before the calls?
zanilth - forget it. You are like me. You point out fact after fact after fact and get the "Well I dont think so" defense. Pretty frustrating huh? Because people FEEL he should have responded a certain way makes him a murdering scumbag. I really love it when people get BASIC stuff plain wrong and wont admit it or keep going on and on like a busted record about how he was told to stay in his car which is COMPLETELY untrue. He was NEVER asked to stay in his car and even if told so has no LEGAL obligation to do so. They wont get this no matter how many times they are told. What he did was not ILLEGAL but because he did he is a murder? Wow amazing sometimes how people do not understand anything about how the legal system works. If not what you FEEL its what you can PROVE.
No one said he had a duty to run home. He didn't have a right to stop or go back to Zimmerman, then hit him.
Why would he stop walking home once he lost the guy, when he was heading home in the first place? That makes no sense- it would make sense that he stopped or went a different direction WHEN he was being followed, so he didn't lead the guy back to his house- but it doesn't make sense that he stops when he loses Zimmerman.
Where's the timestamp of this?
What actually was said:
Dispatcher: Okay do you want to just meet with them right near the mailboxes then?
Zimmerman: Yeah that's fine.
Dispatcher: Alright George, I'll let them know to meet you around there okay?
Zimmerman: Actually could you have them call me and I'll tell them where I'm at?
It's quite possible- but didn't happen in this case, the ME has shown there was blood on both of them, from each other. Yes, Zimmerman's blood was on Trayvon.
So you're saying it's pure speculation that there was a physical fight?
We know there was a fight- there are witnesses. We know there was a physical altercation, as Trayvon's girlfriend states she heard something.
We know there aren't any marks on Trayvon indicating he was struck at any point in time- whether at the beginning of the confrontation or any point during.
We know Zimmerman was assaulted, and Trayvon was on top of him.
So what you're saying is that Zimmerman hit first- so where's the marks on Trayvon indicating such?
Yes, it is pretty frustrating. Unfortunately for me, I get bored and come on here to occupy time for bits and pieces of the day on occasion.
The funny thing is, I've been on these forums discussing this story for the past two months, and have yet to have anyone counter anything I've posted with any sort of fact. They cannot obviously, as I use the factual evidence the prosecution has submitted to make my statements- but it's funny that people think their opinions matter over the evidence.
As unfortunate as it is, I honestly believe they are prosecuting him to appease the general public, and they put a murder 2 so they could hope to plea down because they know they've got virtually no case.
America Today-Anthony, you know the rules. Don't call everyone you disagree with names.
You're suspended for a week for violating #1 of the Code of Honor.
Why would an armed man scream like a girl? Anyone hear George's re-enactment of the scream? I'm a dummy, and even this dummy can tell that ZGunnman was not the one heard screaming on the 911 tape.
Besides, if it was true that ZGunnman was 'about to lose consciousness', there would've been no problems for the MMA football-hulking beast to wrestle the gun away from GFabricator.
How does a man who's 'about to lose consciousness' scream with such vigor?
@Zanilth The Orlando Sentinel yesterday reported over six discrepancies in Zimmerman's statement to the police. One of the chief among them was Zimmerman on the 911 call stating that he was following Trayvon Martin. Yet, the next day, the story changes and Zimmerman claims "I was walking in the same direction." Which one is it Zimmerman? Get your story straight. Another critical discrepancy: Zimmerman claims the voice on the 911 call screaming for help was his. Yet, the story changes again, this time Zimmerman claiming Trayvon was covering his hand and mouth. How can you scream with somebody covering your hand your mouth Zimmerman? Zimmerman's inconsistencies will lead to him being shred on cross by that Special Prosecutor. He'll never be able to explain why his blood isn't on Trayvon's clothing if he breaking his nose and banging his head into the pavement. One lie after another with Zimmerman. Little children don't lie this much.
Since Zimmerman never stated on the NON-EMERGENCY call to dispatch that he was following Trayvon, I'll take this as a load of more hogwash trying to convict him in the eye of the public. When he was on the phone with dispatch, they asked him if he was following Trayvon. His response was "yeah" in which they stated they didn't need him to do that.
Perhaps the article wrote it better and you just suck at typing what was said...
Considering the fact that the medical examiner found Zimmerman's blood on Trayvon's clothing, I know you are just spewing media talking points. Nice try.
That couldn't be further from the truth and the sheer fact that it attempted to be used as a justification for ANYTHING shows a heightened level of ignorance about people that legally carry a concealed weapon.
If Zimmerman was looking to use his gun with the up front intent to shoot anyone, logic would dictate that he would have it in hand from the moment he left his vehicle...you know..."at the ready". That was not the case and is not the case here in Florida where the law mandates that we carry concealed.
Someone obeying the law would carry their weapon concealed and the general public would have no knowledge to the fact that they were carrying it at all, unless such time arose where they felt that it required use, as was the case here.
Zanilth, I said that it was pure speculation as to who initiated the altercation. Please read carefully. You cannot say with any honesty who actually touched who first in the case. Yet you have decided who made first contact to justify your stance.
We do not know if Zimmerman was really forced to shoot Trayvon to control him. From the 911 recording, it sure sounded like Martin was in submission pleading for his life before he was shot. Was Zimmerman truly forced to use deadly force? In my opinion, the evidence does not support the claim because of the discrepancies that have been listed over and over. The prosecutor will likely succeed in convincing the jury that by pursuing in the first place, Zimmerman instigated the response from Martin.
Why are you afraid to say that you have a suspicion, but lets wait for the trial? Why the need to suppose that Zimmerman could not have tried to physically detaim Martin, and that escalated to the gun shot. If that were the case, Martin has the right to not have someone touch him, but you are happy to conclude that this is not possible on the word of the killer.
Zanilth-- and we know this just how? By Zimmermans questionable word as to where Martin WAS?
It will be interesting if the police have a record of exactly where GZ's car was parked. One of the officers (info from first evidence release) early on directed two officers to write the "tags" of all the vehicles in the area that night.
ChrisfromCincy:
And Zan has corrected the incorrect discrepancies that have been listed over and over. Do you have any factual discrepancies, or are you just referring to all the incorrect discrepancies that have been spewed (then quietly forgotten each time they're proven to be wrong)?
If First responder said GZ face was covered with blood did they wash Trevons hands? Wouldn't Travon have blood on his hands from attempting to smother GZ?
Icurhoods: You wrote:
Brilliant observation on your part! You used that piece of evidence in a very effective manner!
Icurhoods:
That is absolutely true! Yes, if-- AS ZIMMERMAN SAID-- Trayvon was attempting to smother him, Trayvon indeed would have had blood on his hands.
What will O'Mara do with that????
Absolutely!
Good grief...what will he do?
I don't see what he can do!
zanilth,
Trayvon had no duty to do anything...
Why did he leave his house in the first place...supposedly, to go buy an iced tea, more likely to get some privacy, to talk to his girlfriend on cell phone...why would he rush back to prying ears...he was a TEENAGER, that is what they do! Supporting evidence is his cell phone records, showing he was on phone, pretty much the entire time he was gone from the house...
GZ said he wasn't "following", just going "in the same direction", he also says the was walking back to his vehicle, at the point in "non emergency" call, that he is giving directions to dispatch on where to meet...why didn't he make it back to his vehicle? Could it be, because he continued to "look for Trayvon"? Even though he said he didn't...
http://184.172.211.159/~gzdocs/documents/statements/audio_interview_0229_3.mp3
Am I to believe Travon was scouting houses to rob armed with skittles ans ice tea? He was not looking into homes, that was a crock of crap! Where was he going to stash all the loot he was stealing? He was profiled as a Black thug that "didn't belong there" and murdered by a speedballer! Yes he was speedballing, admits to PX drugs which are benzos and amphetamines. Luckily he admits to taking those pX otherwise we'd never know since only the corpse was drug tested! UN F'ING BELIEVABLE!
ChrisFromCincy see if you can follow closely. I know this jumps around a lot, and requires an advanced degree in COMMON FREAKING SENSE to see, but try and stay with me ok?
We KNOW there was a physical altercation between Zimmerman and Trayvon. That is UNDISPUTED.
We KNOW one of the two was on top of the other. That is UNDISPUTED.
We KNOW there were ABSOLUTELY NO MARKS ON TRAYVON MARTIN to indicate he was struck. That is UNDISPUTED.
We KNOW there are WOUNDS on Zimmerman. That is UNDISPUTED.
How do you speculate that Zimmerman started the physical altercation when there are absolutely NO marks on Trayvon to indicate such? Answer that- or don't answer, because you have none.
It IS the case that you have no idea what you are talking about. Trayvon's father first stated that was not his son's voice on the tape- until he was informed about what happened, then he changed his story. Zimmerman's father DID state it was his son's voice. What we DO know UNDISPUTEDLY, is that we DON'T KNOW whose voice it was- so it doesn't 'sure sound' like anything other than you are making assumptions on the information that is NOT evidence to try and make your case. That is NOT how things work.
It's obvious that you have never read any of the prior case precedent that exists in Florida with the SYG law. 'Pursuing' as you put it, or following, is not illegal.
Stephen Nichols if you want to question something I post, try copy/pasting and quoting what you are questioning. Otherwise, I have no idea what you are talking about.
Unless you are advocating that Zimmerman was lying to dispatch about having lost Trayvon (and did so continually, remember that he said he didn't know where he was when giving out his address) then I really have no idea what you are talking about. If that is the case- have fun trying to prove THAT one in court. That's just pure ignorance.
No factual data here, but we DO know it was wet/raining that night. Everyone is making a big deal about the blood, but in all reality the blood would be washed off relatively quickly IF there weren't another source keeping it supplied there.
No one said you were supposed to believe that.
He was trying to avoid rain, which usually means you are under something. It's not hard to imagine someone trying to run next to buildings to take advantage of the roof overhang to avoid the rain, and someone else seeing that associating it with casing homes. Pretty much the same actions.
Smyth
Thanks- til the next bit of incorrect discrepancy comes out from those who want to paint the facts to fit their conclusions.
Now zanilth...if you're going to keep showing the plain and true facts instead of just following in line with all the made up speculation that could have "possibly happened" (without having any proof or substance by the way), you're going to be banned or collapsed by the multitude of readers that are certain with complete conviction that Zimmerman was hell-bent on finding a black person on that dark and dreary night and gunning them down with some sort of Manson-esque conviction.
/* end sarcasm */
Yawn.
Yawn.......damn you :)
Yaaaawwwwwn $hit!
I hope the judge asks him about the $20,000.00 he told his wife to withdraw from the on-line account. So they could live a "SAFE LIFE".!!! I for one would Love to hear "HIS" reply to that question.!!!
what do you expect? He has not been able to work since the incident. Of course he will need some funds to pay his bills, etc...
Of course he needs to perjure himself in open court, hide income, hide passports, and collude with is wife to commit perjury during recorded conversations. I mean, after all, if you think you can stalk and kill a kid when the kid defends himself by beating your butt, you have a right to lie in court too. In the world Zimmy and his supporters, you can get away with murder!
Karl, well said. Denying bail keeps him safely ensconced in a cell, gives him plenty of time to think about what he's done and the trial he is facing.
sfaux - "what do you expect? He has not been able to work since the incident. Of course he will need some funds to pay his bills, etc..."
Ummmm, Zimmerman hasn't worked since LONG before the incident. He has been unemployed for quite some time because of his instability & tendency towards violence. Besides killing an unarmed teenager, he's turned this into his cash cow! What a scumbag!!!
That money was moved around so many times it's amazing anyone could keep track of it. Right up until bond was revoked and then all funds went back to Zimmerman's account and the "musical accounts" stopped.
Hey bud,
Wake the heck up.
You are being vilified by THE ENTIRE COUNTRY!
Spike Lee tweets what he thinks is your home address and recommends vigilante justice.
The President of the United States condemns you and sicks his DOJ on you personally.
What would you do?
You dolts have absolutely no clue what Zimmerman is going through.
This is all you need to know.
Trayvon isnt a kid.
Trayvon could see the back door of the house he was staying in long before his death.
Dee Dee will be brought to the trial to give an account of the phone conversation.
Dee Dee will break.
At the end of the day this is nothing but a huge embarrassment for the United States justice system.
On a side note, isnt it ironic that the black community is embracing lynch mob justice?
funny how your prejudice stands out like a billboard america today
the main thing here is this
one man had a pistol
one kid had a bag of candy
the man followed then chased down a kid
the kid shows a sign of self defense against a man he doesnt know who is also packing a gun
the man gets beat down by the kid who is protecting himself from the man and his gun
the winner a bullet over a skittle
zimmerman is guilty of killing just because he didnt listen and is predjudice just like you
he premeditated this and the phone call to 911 proves it
the man followed then chased down a kidThe man followed then lost a kid.the kid shows a sign of self defense against a man he doesnt know who is also packing a gunThe kid either waited or doubled back to confront the guy, who he was unaware that the guy was in possession of a weapon.the man gets beat down by the kid who is protecting himself from the man and his gunThe man gets assaulted by a kid who is ticked off that someone is following him, yet still has no idea he has a weapon.Only ignorant people think a dispatcher is authorized to give a lawful order that counters the freedom to walk and talk to someone.
Please, oh PLEASE show us where in the NON EMERGENCY (not 911) call he states he is intending on shooting Trayvon? You can't? Oh, well then why are you letting this ignorance pass your keyboard?
Anthony.......hmmmm...........could it be that other murdering scumbag CASEY?? PS you sure as hell weren't in the military, your comments have no honor
@sfox,
GZ told the donors on his web site that ALL money would be used to pay legal expenses. In fact, NONE was used to pay legal expenses and all that was spent was used for living expenses. The PayPal account was closed for violations of terms of service and the only announcement left on the GZ "official" website is: "George Zimmerman's lawyers announce that they are no longer representing Mr. Zimmerman nor are they endorsing his website."
The new GZ "offocia" web site is nothing more than an ad for his new lawyer (who is taking the case pro bono, one assumes for the publicity.) http://gzlegalcase.com/ On the new site, any donations go directly to the lawyer and are administered by an unnamed third party.
Which was wrong and I believe he apologized--and paid the owners of that house compensation.
The President has not come out and said 'I think he's guilty.' The DOJ was convened to look into the actions of the police department on that night and determine if they acted inappropriately.
By the grace of the Goddess, no, I do not because I have never killed another person. Goddess willing I hope I never have to face that choice because I do not think I could. (now if a zombie were attacking that's a different story altogether...)
In this country, though individual laws in individual states have differing ages as an adult, by unwritten social contract 18=adult. Therefore, anyone under 18=kid.
Yes he could see the back door of father's girlfriend's house. 'Long before his death' is subjective, as the police were dispatched when Zimmerman first called around 7:17 that evening and Martin was pronounced dead at 7:30 by a paramedic after three police officers had attempted resuscitation. so that would depend on your definition of 'long'.
Yes, she will.
You cannot say that will happen with 100% certainty, as it has not happened yet.
That's your opinion. I think it's illustrative of how our system works--think of other countries where people are killed every day and no one is ever held accountable because there is no such thing as law enforcement or a justice system to hold anyone accountable. This case is a good example to the world of how our system works; it will be up to the one watching this play out to determine for themselves what does works, what does not, where things could be made better or more fair.
Try living in central Africa, places like the Congo. Try living in one of those villages hunting for food every day to survive, only to return to your village after a hunt to find your house burned, your wife raped and killed, and your children stolen away to become a child sex slaves or a child soldier. There is no police to call and say 'my children have been kidnapped', no coroner to come take the body away, no church to have a funeral or wake. You dig a grave with your bare hands and bury your wife, then try to keep living in hopes that maybe someday your children or even one child will come back.
Think about that. As flawed as you may think our justice system is, it is better than having NONE.
Why do people keep calling Trevon "a kid"? He was no kid. He wore gold teeth, talked trash on FB and posed showing tats. Kid...really? He was a thuglet.
I wouldn't call it an 'order'. A 'strong recommendation, ignore at your own risk' type warning. I used to work dispatch for my municipality's Animal Control and we had a case where someone called saying her neighbor's dog attacked hers and what should she do. She wanted to go yell at the neighbor about keeping control of his dog; I advised her that she did not need to do that, I had an AEO on the way and the AEO would handle communications with the owner of the other dog.
She did not listen, went over and initiated an altercation with the other dog's owner, and eventually not only had to give up her Chow (it had trespassed on the other person's property and attacked the other person's Pit Bull, did not have shots or license/registration and had a prior history of getting out of its yard and attacking other dogs and children in the neighborhood, so it was euthanized by order of the Vicious Dog Hearing Board) but the owner of the other dog also won a harassment suit because she refused to leave him alone. (deliberately tried to poison neighbor's pit by pouring antifreeze on the neighbor's driveway.)
As the law considers anyone under the age of 18 to still be a 'kid', then yes, Martin was a kid. While some states have laws saying 17 is legal 'age of majority', it is generally understood via unwritten social contract that 18 =adult.
The Trayvon Martin with the Facebook handle 'No Limit Nigga' showing a shirtless, tattooed, built young man flipping the camera the bird with both hands, wearing lowrider pants, ink and a grille, has been proven to not belong to the Trayvon Martin who was shot. It was debunked early in the investigation. In a country with 300+ million people, apparently it didn't occur to many that there might be more than one person named 'Trayvon Martin'.
Precisely- but just because you don't follow that strong recommendation, doesn't negate your ability to defend yourself IF you are attacked. THAT is why it doesn't matter what the dispatcher said.
None of the issues she was subjected to afterwards were caused by her not following your guidance. All of those things were completely separate.
Well, let's see. You defend yourself from being beaten to death and the police release you for acting in self-defense. But then black leaders (including $$$ Oprah) are up in arms. Innocent people with the name of Zimmerman are targeted. Newspapers are showing a child's face and protraying TM as a kid who just went for snacks. There's an illegal bounty on your head that no one seems to be much concerned about. The government changes it's position and sets up a hand picked special investigation which (surprise, surprise) leads to your arrest based on one person's review. No grand jury is allowed to deliberate (their normal job). Witnesses in your favor are being intimidated and changing their story. The police chief is put on leave of absence. So now who do you trust? The legal system that seems to be stacking the deck? An impartial jury. I think not.
If the situation was turned around and TM had been arrested, people would be making all kinds of excuses for any money that got hidden. Blacks would be saying TM was being railroaded and a kangaroo court being set up. But with GZ, he's supposed to be up front when half the country, including government is out to string him up. Yeah right.
And there's the heart of the matter--who threw the first punch, and is there any action, by either party, Zimmerman or Martin, that could have caused the whole incident to not happen, and with whom lay the greater responsibility to avoid a confrontation? 'IF' is the operative word here, we don't know 'who started it.' When my two sons get in a fight in their room and I go in to see what the commotion is about, each child points to the other and says 'he started it!' If I can't identify the guilty party, they both get punished. (they are 10 and 9, by the way, and even though my 9 year old is autistic, he does know right from wrong and he knows not to lie when asked direct questions.)
'Ignore at your own risk'. I told her the AEO would handle communications. The AEO I dispatched backed me up and told them both not to contact each other and to leave each other alone throughout the VDHB investigation and hearing process. He did. She didn't. I had to testify in civil court later that I was the one who originally told her that Animal Enforcement Officers would handle communications; the AEO also testified that he told both parties the same thing.
The gentleman followed those instructions-even after his garage security camera caught the woman on tape at 12:35 am one night pouring antifreeze on his driveway to kill his dog. He didn't confront her with the tape, he went to a lawyer then brought the lawyer down to AC offices to show us the evidence and inform us he was filing a civil suit and we needed to appear.
She tried to say that she was never told by law enforcement to let officers handle communications and she is well within her right to go talk to her next door neighbor if she so chose. The judge told her that no, if she has been instructed not to, by civil authority (311/city services) or law enforcement (in our municipality, AEOs are 'Special Police') she needed to obey that order and the guy won his harassment suit (and she got an animal cruelty fine for attempting to kill his dog.)
Now I don't know what the laws are in FL. But this is what they are in my municipality--we have a huge binder with phone scripts and direct mandates for callers with animal issues. Those mandates have been drafted by AEOs themselves and there are whole chapters devoted to specific kinds of calls. Calls are recorded and if it needs to be brought up in a court or Board Hearing later, the dispatcher's words are carefully compared to the script provided for that type of situation to make sue that the dispatcher followed the script.
And yes, cases were thrown out because a dispatcher did not follow script--one dispatcher got in trouble because a woman claimed she was being chased by an aggressive chicken and the dispatcher told her to 'throw a brick at it and then enjoy a free-range chicken dinner'... though the script was for 'small bird pursing aggressively' and the dispatcher, having never seen a live chicken and not knowing how big they can get, picked 'small bird' script instead of the 'large bird' script. (we used 'large bird' for geese and swans.)
Gz admits, he reached in his pocket for his
gun...er...phone, at which time Trayvon knocked his ass to the ground. I would too! Trayvon had no idea who GZ was, or why he was following him.Jo-An - Yawn you present nothing new and your "opinion" is not grounds to assault someone. If you SAW the gun thats one thing. Did he draw it on you? Did he tell you "I have a gun so dont even think about it". HMmmm ok so then guess what. You would most certainly be charged with assault afterwards. You cannot confront someone and then when they go for a cell phone punch them. But ok you keep having this mentality its refreshing to read the same thing over and over from you.... :D
So Trayvon can knock anyone to the ground he feels like knocking to the ground? Even a cop?
Funny, considering the fact that his gun wasn't in his pocket.
Since up to the actual first punch being thrown there was no illegal actions on EITHER part, this is the ONLY thing that matters. Considering the fact that there are no marks on Trayvon to indicate he was struck at any point in time, it is a stretch to assume Zimmerman struck first.
The law in your house and the law in the state of Florida are two different things.
The guy would have won his harassment suit without the judge making that statement, and that STILL doesn't negate the fact that Zimmerman isn't required to abide by the suggestion of the dispatcher that "we don't need you to do that." Plus, it can be easily argued that, unless it is from the harassment angle in that there had been altercations before, the judge didn't have the right to make the comment.
Luckily, the call with Zimmerman and the dispatcher was recorded. There is nowhere in the call that the dispatcher tells Zimmerman NOT to follow Trayvon- there is nowhere in the call that the dispatcher tells Zimmerman to get back in his truck... ETC. The dispatcher stated "We don't need you to do that", at which Zimmerman acknowledges and based on his further discussion, has appeared to cease the pursuit.
EVEN IF THE DISPATCHER SAID THOSE THINGS, it wouldn't matter. He isn't in the position, nor does he have the authority, to VIOLATE a person's first amendment right to talk to someone. They hadn't had any interactions previously, so there was nothing to associate with either stalking or harassment (which there was in your case.)
Thank you zanilth - it's shocking how people sling "wanna be facts" so they can continue to ignore the reality of the situation.
And I hate to break it to you Jo-An-4354969, but reaching your hand into your pocket does NOT warrant a physical assault. So if the strongest evidence you have is that Trayvon saw Zimmerman put his hand into his pocket so he punched him in the face, climbed on top of him and beat his head into the ground, then I think that we have a fairly open and shut case...
And while it is a stretch, it is not impossible. It is also not impossible that Martin did not strike first, nr is it impossible that he did. The absence of defensive bruising on his knuckles seems to indicate that he may not have struck first, though, not being one who gets into fights regularly, I would not know--the first and only time I got into a fight was with a girl in sixth grade who was bullying the special ed child I was tutoring. I tore my right hand knuckles open and she shattered my glasses. Boy, was my Mom ever MAD! (my prescription is about $200.) My Dad (Vietnam and Korean vet, Army) listened to what I said, went to talk to the school, and while he accepted the suspension (it was a Catholic school and they were REALLY strict about Behavior Appropriate For Young Ladies) he also didn't punish me really hard and I think he had a laugh about it to his buddies later.
Yes, and I wish it weren't so we could all have this over and done with !
You know, that I'm not sure about. He had a pit, she had a chow. Despite the fact that her dog trespassed, there are MANY who see 'Pit Bull' and will automatically put the pit in the wrong even when the other dog CLEARLY caused the incident. Both dogs had prior complaints in the system, but hers were a level 3--aggression-- and his were level 1--nuisance calls. But there were people in the neighborhood who didn't like the dog just because it was a pit and would have killed the dog themselves if they'd had the chance.
As I said, don't know what the law is in FL, but in my municipality when warned not to engage in an activity, the citizen is apparently bound to listen to civil authorities or face consequences.
He appeared to. We don;t know for certain that he did. We don't know for certain that he didn't.
Here's where I think this case has the most legal merit, outside of the human drama of one person dead and another's life ruined forever because of bad decisions by both parties. It would be interesting to see what FL law says about this. Is a recommendation by a civil authority equal to a recommendation by a law enforcement authority, if the law enforcement authority writes the directives the civil authority gives out?
Best way I can think of to describe it; in medieval terms, if the herald was the mouthpiece of the King, is the peasantry required to treat the herald as if they were the King?
Are people required to obey civil authority? If you call a civil authority for advice or assistance are you in any way obligated to abide by the advice given? This case is going to set an interesting precedent for definition of the role of civil authority no matter which way the case turns out.
@Destiny1945
Ummmmmm who was the cop? I hope you're not talking about unemployed gun carrying, wannabe cop george zimmerman. And how do you know he knocked him to the ground? Oh that's right you're taking his word for it I mean after all he's nothing but a liar. Where's the harm in that? ROTFLMAO!!!!
RIDDLETHIS
I AM "RETIRED" MILITARY, 25 years.
And I agree with Anthony.
YOU do not speak for us all.
In the state of Louisiana, where I reside - TM was a LEGAL ADULT - which is the age of 17 here and in many other states in the US.
18 is no longer the legal age of majority as it was in the past.
Get a clue people. Google it, not hard to find.
NOT in Florida! He was barely 17! His birthday was Feb 5, 1995.
Destiny1945,
It's called the Stand Your Ground law....so YEAH, Trayvon had every right to do whatever he needed to do, even SHOOT ole zimmie, if he feared for his life!
That's why cops identify themselves....
and Zimmie wasn't a cop, not close....
adults are not hs students!!!!!! treyvon was a hs student!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unfortunately, Jo-An does that incessantly. This is the second or third thread on this topic I've bumped into her, and it's the same each one. She isn't the only one who not only refuses to look at the facts, but also refuses to acknowledge your statements when they have facts that counter their manufactured reality.
Yep, pretty much. It's shameful that most people have such a bad understanding of the law as to think this is acceptable. This is my belief for the #1 reason this situation occurred- either Trayvon wasn't aware that the situation didn't warrant physical action as of yet, or didn't care.
This doesn't even make sense- unless you block a punch WITH a punch, you don't usually get defensive marks on your knuckles. IF you get marks on your knuckles (which depends a LOT on the type of knuckles you have) they are from hits, not blocks.
Regarding the marks on his knuckles- I've got big bone knuckles, without hardly any 'meat' on them. If I punch a wall, my knuckle is a little red for a little bit, but it doesn't swell or anything UNLESS I break a knuckle or burst a blood vessel. My knuckles don't even bruise really- of course, I've got a punch dummy, so my knuckles are 'used to' the impacts. Someone who had a more meaty fist, as well as someone who isn't used to tossing punches, would likely have their knuckles bruised and marked up for awhile after tossing a punch or three.
To prove it, go to a MMA gym and have someone who is used to the bags spend 1 minute on one then inspect their knuckles. Then, you spend 20 seconds on one and check YOUR knuckles (assuming you aren't used to a bag.) You'll definitely notice a difference, the same as you would comparing someone with 'bony' hands versus someone with meaty hands.
Anyway, the point of all that- you cannot use one specific type and case to state there would or wouldn't be bruising on the knuckles. It depends on numerous factors.
We are talking about the judge's conduct and not 'MANY' here, right? You would assume the judge has experience seeing things more in-depth, and wouldn't jump on the 'many' bandwagon so quickly. That is the thought anyway, and it appears to have happened in this case. That STILL doesn't change the fact that there were PRIOR issues about her harassment, so whether she was told to or not doesn't change the fact that the neighbor had a VALID harassment complaint, at the most her not listening sealed it- but her not listening didn't MAKE the harassment claim.
Police officers are considered civil authority. In your jurisdiction, you may have a deputized position. A dispatcher in Florida is not. It has been stated and decided on numerous occasions, by numerous law officials familiar with Florida law, that Zimmerman was under no requirements to not follow Trayvon- even though that wasn't what the dispatcher said in the first place. The ONLY reason why the dispatcher comment is still being kicked around is for a distraction- it doesn't matter, but ignorant people can't seem to drop it and think it means something. Not calling you ignorant at all- I'm just getting tired of people spewing the same repetitive talking points that have NOTHING to do with the case.
manns1963 That comment was in response to someone stating Trayvon knocked Zimmerman down because he had a weapon. Destiny1945 was saying that just because you have a weapon doesn't give someone the right to knock you down- if that were the case, then what protects police officers?
Oh, you're one of the ones who doesn't like the UNCONTESTED FACTS. What do you suggest- that Zimmerman said "Hang on a sec, let me lay down and you come climb on top of me..."? We KNOW Zimmerman was bashed up, we KNOW Trayvon had absolutely NO marks on him indicating he was struck... So Zimmerman hit Trayvon, but didn't leave a mark?
I'm currently in, 9 years this month... And I agree :)
17 or 18 doesn't really make much of a difference in the grand scheme of things when thinking about maturity and culpability. However, because the law in Florida states <18= kid, >17= adult, let people keep calling Trayvon a kid. Legally it fits- but everyone with any kind of clear thinking realizes that the legal tag doesn't change someone's ability to do something or not.
BTW, you retire near Ft. Puke? I'm on Beauregard, an hour away from there.
As long as you aren't in the commission of a crime when doing such- Trayvon had no reason to fear for his life, Zimmerman wasn't assaulting him- therefore, Trayvon swinging was assault and a crime- which means he started the altercation and Zimmerman was defending himself. A verbal altercation isn't justification for physical assault, but as evidenced by your ignoral of Shawn [a.k.a. "Shadow"] in 5.23, you don't care about the law.
Not quite...
No one said he was.
You likely meant that the opposite way, HS students are not adults- but either way, both are wrong. Legally, adult at 18= most high schoolers are 18 before they graduate, so most adults spent some adult time as high schoolers.
So, it's "legal" for zimmermurder to shoot someone "if" he got punched in the nose?
I doubt it...say buh-bye to your boy...
oh, send him a little more money, he's out of Cheetos.
shouldn't the article have said that also attending the hearing were Trayvon's "precious" parents?--in the words of Florida prosecutor Angela Cory.
Say what?
Precious parents????
You mean the ones trying to distort who their son really was?
Did you see those tats?
I thought his mama was still out on the Po Little Trayvon tour, selling T-shirts.
GZ should not even have been charged yet he is being punished by a screwed up sustem which allowed a race card to be played.
Decent cop fired & a manipulation of the legal rights of an American citizen.
Those funds were for his legal defense & are held in trust .
I thought I noticed a tat on Mr. Zimmerman's upper left bicep in the video shown this morning. So let's leave ink out of the picture.
You people are sick. These people lost a son because of racial profiling and your bring them into your racial bulls***.
Charlie - why shouldn't he be punished. He killed a kid. Last time I checked, that was against the law. Decent cop fired? Do you mean the one that didn't follow procedures. I swear, I think I lost all hope for the human race.
Iced tea, skittles and codine = LEAN -- I though the autopsy report said that Trayvon had trace amounts of marijuana in his system. Where did this other stuff come from, or is it something that has been made up by Chicken George's supporters.
luvmylife - Well you obviously know very little about the law it seems to me. Last I checked its perfectly legal to defend yourself when you're being attacked by someone. Guess you disagree....
The only person who showed self defense was TM. You are missing the big picture. If GZ would have never followed him, then none of this would have ever happeded. What would you do if some strange man was following you? TM didn't know if this man was a murder (which he was) so he defended himself. Dan - you obviously have little common sense.
Self defense is killing within the confines of the law.
The cop followed procedures. The DA refused to press charges. The chief was simply a scapegoat.
There was nothing for Trayvon to defend against. In order to defend oneself, there must be a threat exhibited.
It wasn't illegal, nor is it threatening, to follow Trayvon. Had he had his weapon out- sure, but if that were the case, Trayvon would have said something to his girlfriend about it.
Wouldn't break the law by hitting him. The government is the only ones who can get away with striking first as defense when they aren't being threatened.
Dan has plenty of sense it seems. He understands that the law doesn't quite line up with what some people think it should- but that doesn't change the fact that the law is the law, no matter what those people (to include yourself) think.
In states without that law defending yourself is not killing someone. People have common sense is a state without the law not to do it. Why? Because jail time, if you shoot someone outside of a club, store, side walk. You are guilty of murder if you shoot someone period. If George did this is VA, where he is from. He would be in jail, would be no funds. No innocent til proven guilty, because your guilty here soon as the bullet goes into the persons body.
It's hard to get away with killing someone in your house here. He is lucky it all happened in Florida, where the blacks soon wont be able to vote if they have their way.
Firstly, your post makes no sense. Secondly, the SYG law in Florida only states a person isn't required to seek a way out before using lethal force in a justifiable situation. A person has the right to defend themselves with up to and including lethal force in ANY state where they are attacked. Most states require a person to seek any available opportunity to flee the situation before using lethal force- but it isn't a crime ANYWHERE to protect your life by taking another who is intent on causing you serious harm or death.
This case is going to get thrown out, so lets get on with it. Thug attacked an armed neighborhood watch volunteer who was doing his duty. The Martins are wasting everybodies time at this point. They know their son was a thug, thats why he was sent to Sanford to stay with his dad. Mommy couldn't handle him anymore. They should be sending Zimmerman a thank you note.
I'm so glad you cleared that up for the rest of us. Perhaps you should call the prosecutors and advise them to drop the case. If everyone would only listen to you, we wouldn't have this mess.
What a dumba$$.
SFOX
You sound like one of the cowards on here that would have bent over for Georgie.
Yeah,.... little George could have had his way with a coward like you, you would not have been man enough to fight off a stranger that could have very easily been a Predator. You would have bent over and grabbed your ankles, or faced him on your knees Deep Throat!!! lol!!!
stay classy mom 1010
Uncle Henry she has a point LOL
Uncle Henry
You have no idea who I am or what I do, I am sick of these cowardly men on this Blog. I have raised six kids to very successful, and to be respectful at all times to others and this Country.
I also raised my 3 boys to stand up to there responsibilities and to stand up for there beliefs. To do what a man is suppose to do and not depend on others to answer for them. I will scold them when they are wrong and still stand by them, and will not make excuses for them and I am very proud of them.
Some one should have taught little Georgie how to be a man!!!
"an armed neighborhood watch volunteer"
How nice of you to discredit your own statement.
I'm sure Trayvon was thinking, "you known, I have these skittles and tea and all this guy has is a gun. I think I can take him out and then I can eat and drink my assault weapons".
....yeah, that's how it played out.
sfox - do you get everything backwards? or just the facts of this case?
Mom 1010, a lot of other folks responded to #8 without violating the first rule on the site:
You're suspended for a day for violating #1 of the Code of Honor.
If this case is going to be thrown out, then what is the worry, Chicken George should be confident that he will be free shortly. NOT!
Mom said nothing wrong tyler...what a joke. There will be a verdict. Guaranteed. Hey Tyler you delete moms comments but can't delete that John dude and msteel for their racist remarks???????????????????????????????????????????????????????
You know watch arent allowed to have guns or confront a person. They are only suppose to call the police when they see things happening.
Exactly, Terri!
Says who, their guidelines? How about you show me the federal LAW that prevents them from carrying or prevents them from inquiring things?
Oh, it doesn't matter anyway because Zimmerman wasn't on duty! He wasn't acting as neighborhood watch when this happened.
Maybe a lot of you should upgrade to a Color Monitor. Seems to be a lot of old Black and White ones here.
I'm on my way to Best Buy.
10 deleted, geminimoon with some vague racism targeting...blacks? people who identify as African-Americans?
Don't smear everyone in an ethnicity, regardless of how specific you're denoting the ethnicity. You're suspended for a day for violating #5 of the Code of Honor.
Hell, he wants to get back out there and charge back up that Sam's credit card his defense fund paid off. I, for one, am proud to say I took no part in paying off that Sam's card. Those of you that did should be feeling a little foolish.
so is the reason the guy who claimed they only had a few hundred bucks rather than over a hundred thousand dollars, still unable to afford high bail because his legal defense is eating up those big bucks? He conspired with his wife to keep it secret, he lied about the money to the court and misled the court when he provided an expired passport rather than his active passport - not likely to be trusted now even if he is in a nice suit. What else might he be lying about?
Cry me a river.
Will you jump in it?
Yah, let's get the trial going, the sooner this guy goes to jail to stay, the better. How anyone can defend this guy chasing down an unarmed teenager and then shooting him when there's an altercation is outrageous. Must be alot more wannabee tough guys who like the courage carrying a gun conveys.
And save your self-defense BS, his story is shaky at best and his character just as bad.
prag, get a grip. It will take months if not years just to find an impartial jury. I think that by itself will be impossible so Zimmerman walks.
He did not chase down an unarmed kid. He was attacked by a huge dude with tats and had his head slammed into the ground causing him to almost lose his life. He had every right to defend himself.
Sure Mark...whatever.
Mark, perhaps you don't understand the simple concept of perception. Everyone doesn't see it like you. Some see this has a trigger happy cop wanna be that made a bad decision and now he needs to be held accountable.
Mr. Martin was sure held accountable for any bad decisions he may have made.
And where would we be if Zimmerman wasn't armed??? Talking about his beating death maybe?? The boy should have just kept on steppin. Sometimes you can start things that you can't finish. And Martin was the one who started things, not Zimmerman. I hear all these idiots saying that Zimmerman started it by getting out of his car --BS. Double BS. It was a gated community. Zimmerman lived there, Martin did not. Zimmerman had the right to see what Martin was up to. Martin did not have the right to confront and assault Zimmerman. Case Closed.
How about where would Zimmerman be if he had gone home and minded his business. My guess is he and Trayvon would both be sitill living their lives unharmed.
Brilliant. Neighborhood watch people are not supposed to carry weapons, and I think it is pretty clear why. Additionally, I seem to recall that the neighborhood watch people said this clown was not in their group (and the reason for that seems pretty clear as well). Martin did NOT start this, he was being stalked by this moron (if it had been you, you probably would have felt the same). He was also told by the police to stand down, but he knew better - he provoked what happened, but none of you are able to recognize that, as obvious as it is.
Next, this guy seems to have a proclivity to lie to get what he wants. That is made obvious by the little matter of the money raised and how it appears he was willing, with the aid of his wife, to secret away parts of it (not to mention trying to hide it in the first place). Looks like he has a little problem with honesty, but you apologists seemingly have no problem with that at all. Terrific.
aljan - I've given up. People don't care about the fact he was assaulted as he states. He must be a lying scumbag because of course sure that's what he is....Won't look at the facts and physical evidence just want to say he is lying so he must have done it. I mean someone who just got a new lawyer a week ago and had every right to take the money he was given to his accounts and didn't want the criminals or possible crooked guards to know how much money he have is Al Capone. Hmmm this person and his wife who "conspired" to hide the money also told the court straight up to everyone the brother in law would get the total and then for some reason they don't try to contact him though they KNEW they had money? Oh yeah that? Hmm if this was GZ he is a master criminal but when its the prosecution is just fine? Hmm and then write up an affidavit completely omitting that whole exchange. We don't find that odd but we find the the "code" talk horrible. People have stated this was a setup from the start. Was it I'm not sure but all I know is they knew about the money ahead of time and then ask very specific questions that they answered correctly. Why not as ask something like "Is it true you have received $135,000 so far from the paypal account?" Why not ask that question? Its ok just keep on drawing conclusions on opinion when the court cares about facts. Ah well have a nice day all. :D
If GTriggerman wasn't armed, he would've stayed in his vehicle and waited for the police while Traygone would've made it home safely and watched the second half of the NBA All-Star game.
Zimmerman should not be allowed bail and should sit his d---a-- in a cell until trial time!! He and his wife have both lied about the money issue so why do people think he's not telling the truth about anything?
Reasonable doubt...in Florida no less. I think he has a fairly good chance.
Depending on which version of that evening's events one believes, he either did or he didn't. Either way, there's no definitive proof he did or did not. Yes, he did exit his vehicle. But then when dispatch said 'We don't need you to do that' he did respond in the affirmative. Whether he actually did or not is still unverified. However, according to legal standing, Martin, being under 18, was still considered a 'kid' and it has been established that he was 'unarmed'.
'Huge dude'--According to the coroner's and police reports, Martin was between 5-11 and 6'00, between 158 and 160 lbs. Zimmerman gave his height as 5'09", no weight, no drivers license. Three inches' difference is not really what most would consider 'huge'.
The coroner's autopsy picked up a tattoo around Martin's wrist and upper arm. None anywhere else. Given that he was wearing a hooded sweatshirt at the time, it is possible Zimmerman may never have seen any ink.
The Trayvon Martin with the Facebook handle 'No Limit Nigga' has been proved not to be the Trayvon Martin who was shot. There is more than one person out there named Trayvon Martin in this country of 300+ million people.
Evidence does seem to point in the direction of a physical assault; however, the 'almost lose his life' seems somewhat debatable, as he was coherent enough to respond intelligently to questions, follow officers' instructions, refuse to be taken to the hospital, and undergo civil detention and interrogation with no visible sign of impairment.
And so did Martin. Without having a third party there who actually witnessed the beginning of the altercation, and as Zimmerman's account contradicts Martin's girlfriend's account as to what she heard while on the phone with Martin as to who instigated it, the fact remains that Zimmerman owned the gun with which the shooting was carried out and as an adult, had the greater responsibility to attempt to deflect a confrontation which he could have accomplished by never getting out of his vehicle to begin with.
Do I think he's guilty of 2nd degree murder? Honestly, no. I do think he's guilty of manslaughter, as was listed on the original police report--unnecessary homicide to prevent unlawful act.
What I think doesn't matter, however, and in the end what we all think doesn't matter--sooner or later Zimmerman will meet the Great Equalizer and he will get whatever he deserves, guilty or innocent.
Zimm was acting as his own neighborhood watch days before Trayvon killing where Zimm was checking the windows and doors to see if they were unlocked. DID ANYONE ask him from the neighborhood to do this? Zimm was telling cop while sitting in cop car doing re enacting story that he reported unlocked windows and front door to a home nearby where he killed Trayvon Anyone have the CORRECT answer?
I know if that loser was walking up to my front door and opening it to see if it was unlocked he would be charged with unlawful entry, trespassing or knocked on his ass. I actually caught two burglers checking my windows and doors back in 88. Knuckleheads had a car full of stolen goods..duh!. I walked out, walked over to their Dodge, popped the hood, yanked a handful of plug wires off threw them on my roof while they stood in shock.
So did anyone from the neighborhood give him permission to open doors and check windows? Was he rejected from THAT neighborhood watch or different area?
Actually yes, if you look at the 178 page evidence PDF document submitted by the prosecution, the last documents in it are the fliers, and email traiffic regarding the neighborhood watch. Also, it is known that the local homeowners association asked Zimmerman to organize and head a neighborhood watch program.
People spout the nonsense about 'self appointed' because they are ignorant and buying into media talking points. A neighborhood watch program doesn't have to be affiliated with any other program, to include the national NWA.
Thanks Zan, I'll check it out!
starsailing:
Zanilth is right. Zimmerman was involved with the local neighborhood watch, and while there IS a national registry, one does not need to register your organization with the national registry in order to be legitimate.
What is important to note, however, that your neighborhood watch needs to be reported to the local police, and it has been reported that Zimmerman's group was reported. At the time that it was set up a police officer came to the setup meeting and stressed the guidelines and gave them a handbook. Among the rules and guidelines is the mandate that watch members are to observe and report, to be the police's eyes and ears; that weapons were not to be carried while 'on duty' and the Watchperson should not confront or interfere unless there was a clear and distinct danger to another's life.
All of which basically are common sense directives....
Amanda - Yup so sounds like you got GZ's actions down to a T. Thanks for pointing it out.....
"He was attacked by a huge dude with tats"
hahahahaha.......You must be like 2 feet tall or something. As I guess you're saying zimmer was attacked by Shriek?
Let's not forget that Mr. Zimmerman wasn't on watch duty the evening of the incident. He was allegedly on his way to Target.
Yes, Mr. Zimmerman had a concealed carry permit. But hells bells, the last time I went to buy a frozen pizza and a pack of underdrawers, I didn't feel the need to pack heat.
To keeter-2982792 on "hells bells, the last time I went to buy a frozen pizza and a pack of underdrawers, I didn't feel the need to pack heat"
Criminals don't warn you in advance to when you will need your concealed carry. Just going for pizza and underdrawers? No problem. You obviously won't be the target of a parking lot shake down.
But my girlfriend got a gun in her face and her purse stolen in front of a grocery store. So make sure to carry if your going for a loaf of bread. You know! Like the kind they sell at Target Stores.
Here's one I haven't seen.
If TM was the "kid" he was supposed to be, what was he doing with two tattoo's?
It's illegal in most states for "kids" to get a tattoo, parental consent in most state's doesn't cut it when it comes to a tattoo.
Interesting....
Amanda,
With the "wording" in your posts, you couldn't originally be from the US.
Are you originally from Canada?
If you are, the laws in Canada and the US work differently. A LOT differently.
In the state of LA, where I reside, 17 is the age of majority and you are considered an adult - period. Just as much as someone who is 28 years old. You would have the same rights and the same expectations of any adult, regardless of age.
Everyone keeps bring up TM was a kid, GZ was an adult. Well, TM was a kid, who is considered an adult in several states, who was taller than GZ, had been in trouble at school and with the law and was caught with marijuana (which by the way, right now is ILLEGAL), has two tattoo's (at the age of 17--there is a problem right there), and was staying with his dad because of all his recent "trouble." He was not an angel, but yet you keep making him one, simply based on his age.
I guess that 10 and 12 year old that helped beat their father to death a few years back were "angels" too, because 10 and 12 year olds couldn't possibly be evil.
What world do you live in, because I live in the real one.
- GZ had every right to be walking down any street, in his own neighborhood.
- GZ had every right to call 911 because he saw someone he didn't recognize, in his neighborhood, that looked suspicious.
- GZ had every right to follow this young man down a public street and/or sidewalk.
- GZ had every right (if he did) to continue to follow this young man, as a 911 operator (in the US) is not a police officer and has no legal authority to direct anyone's actions.
Regardless of whether GZ execised common sense that night - who knows - but not exercising common sense does not a law breaker make. He BROKE NO LAWS THAT NIGHT. None--he even had a permit for the weapon he was carrying.
Based on the evidence that has been released, TM apparently assaulted GZ - NOW THAT is AGAINST THE LAW IN THE US. And if he did, in fact, throw the first punch, then GZ had the right, PER FL LAW, to defend himself.
And as far as GZ not being in real danger. Your definition of fearing for your life and mine might be completely different, but that doesn't make either of us feel safer.
If you need someone to pull a knife or gun on you to justify defending yourself, then fine.
But all it takes is a push for me. People feel threatened at different levels and with different force--its not for you to decide how someone else should feel.
@SprDg: I'm sorry to hear about your girlfriend's experience, but let's look at the big picture. If she'd had a gun handy, she might be in the same situation as Zimmerman.
My Dad--noted for his marksmanship during his army enlistment and high-scorer pistol league status afterward--taught me how to shoot at age 8. He also taught me that paranoia and guns don't mix well unless you're in a war zone.
"So make sure you carry if your [sic] going for a loaf of bread."
Thanks, I'll pass on that Guns can be turned against you, right?
@Kimbo47
While you keep throwing up the issue about Treyvon not being a kid and having tattoo's what exactly is your point. So what, he had a tattoo unless I missed something I do not believe Zimmerman killed him because of his tattoo's. And while you are wrestling with the idea of Treyvon being 17 and not a kid it is very obvious Zimmerman wasn't, he just killed a kid. Last I looked 18 is the legal age of an adult, and although Treyvon might have been tall that does not negate the fact that legally he was still a kid. Just because a child 17 and tall doesn't automatically make that child an adult it only proves that he may have gotten his height from one of his family members. Surprisingly so that's how that works. OMG!!! I sure hope you got some insight on that one because you sound like a broken d*** record repeating the same thing over and over again as if you weren't clear on it the first eleven times. ijs
Are adults high school students?
The two have no correlation. Most HS graduates graduate at 18, so most adults spent some time as a HS student. That is people who haven't failed a grade, or who didn't drop out and return to HS.
The bad thing is, whether he was LEGALLY an adult or a kid doesn't change the situation AT ALL! It's simply a media talking bite to get people lathered up in the mouth over Zimmerman- it sounds better. Trayvon being 17 or 19 wouldn't change anything if he did in fact strike Zimmerman first.
Simply put- his legal status doesn't change his culpability in assaulting Zimmerman.
Since Zimmerman is still "in fear for his life"......isn't jail the "safest" place for him to be. He's isolated, no one can get to him...no worries.
Zimmerman has lots of friends who can protect him. Most of his friends are "white hispanics."
LOL
He just got 800,000 more protecters
Mark, you're out numbered 10 to 1.
Simply put, you're looking kinda ridiculous. The funny part here is, we won't here from you and your so called "buddies" when GZ id indicted. And if we do, you won't have much to say and you'll be out of a couple hundred bucks you sent the Zim.
Have a nice weekend :-D
Yes, we said the same about Casey Anthony. No racial bias but far more incriminating behaviors.
fran-"...innocent till proven guilty." Stay between the lines Gunsmoke! Meanwhile ... no one asking the Martin's about their financial boost from the death of their son, their franchising efforts ... just sayin'. BTW ... anyone seen where Skittles and Tea were actually found on TM from his 2-mile walk in the rain? Oh, ask your high school kid what do the street names "Skittles" and "Tea" mean.
Stan elaborate please?
Srich,
Not sure but it must mean some kind of slang for drugs. He obviously knows though.
Just another racist.
@Stan-3196017
.......or why don't we just ask you because judging from the comment that you just made you seem to be very knowledgeable about illegal street drugs. Who knows you could be under the influence now which is why you're talking so crazy out of your head. ijs!!!
In his pockets, it's right there in the evidence.
Trayvon told his "lil brother" he was walking to 7/11 to get a drink, he asked him if he wanted anything, and he said "yes, skittles"...all pretty innocent!
People making up this "lean" crap are really reaching...haven't you guys smeared the kids character enough?
fyi...
google "Lean"...
i'm assuming that's what he's referring to...don't know if it applies here, but that's probably what he's getting at...
They did an autopsy...a small amount of THC was found in his system, that's all.
Stop spreading more lies.
"Oh, ask your high school kid what do the street names "Skittles" and "Tea" mean."
hahahaha..........you are so funny.....What? Did the high school kids do the investigation or something?
"Zimmerman has lots of friends who can protect him. Most of his friends are "white hispanics."
So you are admitting he is a wuss then?
Jo-An,
Seriously...?
Creek Dog wasn't sure what the reference was to, and I suggest googling "lean" so he and others would know what the guy was referring to (and even noted that I don't think it applies in this case), and you come back and tell me to stop spreading more lies...?
What lies did I spread in that post? Please list them or admit you were wrong to accuse me of spreading more lies.
Stop accusing people of spreading lies when they aren't...Kinda turns you into the liar...
I wouldn't want to spend ONE DAY in jail for something I didn't do.
I doubt you would either.
And geez people--there is NO SUCH THING AS A WHITE HISPANIC.
Wonder why people cannot grasp something this simple!
Smyth:
This lie, dammit. How many more do we need? You should not have even mentioned it if you have no evidence of it. Filthy slanderer! Do not deny it. These are your words.
Obviously you know more about lean than Trayvon does.
Smyth:
Do not make me demonstrate where you, out of your ignorance, trust lying Zimmie's word for all your scenarios. I am sick of you all cracking down on Jo, and you are guilty of the same. Challenge me and get crushed. I dare you. You have run from me for the longest time -with damn good reason; it is long enough.
Stop picking on women. Nothing you say is grounded in the evidence. Everything you say is based on what Zimmy said -and even he changed what he said up 10 times. Dare you to fool with me. Call me out. Dare you. I'll start it.
Jo-An-4354969:
Jo; I may not be able to run many away; but that @!$%#y SMYTH is destinened to bounce. Him and his picture; ain't even him; the friend of can't trust to verify.
Damn; I miss you Jo. I wish I was at liberty to tell you everthhing I see wrong with Zimmie's statement(S) ha-hahaha!!!!! His as$ is toast. In this country, that do not take that crap in court. He is gone. He better submit. Else Zimmie will have a jailhouse lawyer like me inspecting his case. And believe you me, I will find every error the state made. In the meantime -Zimmie's toast.
Ha ha ha.
Smyth:
In the meantime; give me your evidence. Whew! I will blow you outta the water.
Hurry up dammit! I have one more day. Then I must cut off these posts. I will smash you SMYTHE; even as you fool with Jo An. Challenge me; I dare you. You are scum to me.
I'd like to know which lie I spread in that post? If someone tells you to stop spreading lies, I'd assume you must have told a lie. All I'm asking is for you or Jo-An to provide the lie I told in that post.
Someone on the vine apparently hadn't heard of the "lean" accusation, so I suggested they google it (and I also specifically stated that I didn't think it was relevant to this case, but provided them with some direction so they'd understand where that accusation was coming from).
What I was doing was spreading information to someone who wasn't aware of it. I didn't suggest it was correct or even relevant to this case, but you and Jo-An can't see that, and are just angry that it was even mentioned. It's your choice to be angry if you want, but don't accuse others of lying when they're simply sharing information and answering questions that others have asked...
MrPerryvine
You're right, those are his words. How about we go take a look at what the context of those words were, so we can see if they were a lie? His post you quoted was post #13.10.
His post was in reply to posts #13.6 and #13.7, who were both asking Stan-3196017 what he was meaning in post #13.5. This reply is evidenced by his statement
So it wasn't a lie, it wasn't directed at Trayvon at all.
Obviously you need to work on your context.
Perhaps if she quit completely fabricating things to make the situation go the way she wanted, we wouldn't be 'cracking down' on her.
Consider it accepted. Go ahead and counter anything I've posted regarding the case, but you had better do such with evidence (not made up stuff like Jo does, like saying Zimmerman was reaching into his pocket for his gun, when his gun wasn't even in his pocket.)
I realize I wasn't the one you issued the challenge to, but since I base my statements on the FACTS that the PROSECUTION has released and NOTHING MORE, I have nothing to hide and am willing to defend my statements 100%. Care to take ME up on the challenge and get yourself crushed?
I haven't seen anyone picking on anyone for being a woman. If any person, male or female, chooses to come on here and make things up to justify their belief in a certain situation, then they deserve what verbal lambasting they get. Your failed attempt at chivalry falls short, when you are defending a woman not for being a woman, but for making things up in a discussion.
No wonder why you jump off the cliff without even looking. That's never an intelligent thing to do by the way, your girlfriend might just be the death of you (figuratively.)
This explains a lot. You DO know that jailhouse lawyer isn't a good term, right?
You say this after posting for 26 minutes? Your first challenge post was
#13.17 - Wed Jul 4, 2012 12:01 AM CDT
your last was
#13.20 - Wed Jul 4, 2012 12:27 AM CDT
So try to put a bit more time between your replies if you want to make it seem like someone is running from you- 26 minutes isn't very giving in the time department. Of course, since you are so proud of being a jailhouse lawyer, perhaps your time crunch is because inmates are only given a portion of time on the computer, and you need to try and look for some other loophole to get out of jail?
Smyth- from his statements, MrPerryvine is incarcerated. It looks like him and Jo get along, likely she is the only female who may have shown him any attention in awhile. Chances are he's just trying to look big in front of the female type, so I wouldn't let it bother you too much. Like most on this topic, he's just trying to impress people with flash, not substance. The fact that he issued those challenges yet failed to put the first bit of countering fact shows this.
Tells us a lot about a man in a suit, people beware!
The suit maybe a nice cover up of all kinds of corruption, it seems like this is what George Zimmerman attorney thinks, put on the suit and you can hid the fact that you are a Lie and Murderer!
A suit is better than a hoodie.
Know what I'm sayin'?
@Mark Taft,
If my memory serves me correctly. On the recording with his wife while he was giving instructions to her as to where to transfer the funds that they didn't have. I clearly remember Zimmerman's plan being to put on his hoodie and sloop down in the back seat of the car on the day of his release. So ummmmm what's your point "faith Zimmerman follower". So no, what are you saying idiot? Do you know what I'm saying?
I know what Mr. Taft is saying
Both are items of clothing. They do not walk, talk, laugh, cry or bleed. Nothing says that one is better than the other.
I have both. Suits I wear to work; a hoodie I'll occasionally wear over it, with the logo of the animal shelter that I volunteer for and basic info about the shelter. If I get on the bus coming home from work I get stares--you don't often see people in suits getting on the bus to the 'ghetto' part of town (reporters don't even walk without a police escort.) However if I have my hoodie on with the shelter logo, I get smiles and people say 'good for you' and someone will move over to give me a seat and a story about their animals.
Now, the neighborhood that I live in is neutral territory for five gangs; Crips, two sects of Bloods, one Salvadoran and one Mexican (the latter two are car-mod gangs who race at night by the coal plant at the end of the street. In my neighborhood, a suit will get you MUCH more attention from the cops--why would a nicely-dressed individual be in the industrial end of the ghetto neighborhood unless they were up to no good? Suit bad.
But a hoodie with the logo of our local sports teams doesn't even draw a second glance, and my hoodie with the animal shelter logo on it gets little attention (I will occasionally have a cop stop and ask if our shelter has a particular breed of dog they want to adopt, or about an AEO case) but that is attention I DEFINITELY don't mind having!
Mark Taft
A suit is better than a hoodie.
Know what I'm sayin'?
No one knows what you are saying, I suggest going back to school or something. Just sayin.
What a travesty of justice!
Dismiss the charges and let the guy go free.
Zimmerman should sue the prosecutor / county for malicious prosecution.
I sure hope that Zimmerman isn't railroaded by some brain-dead / Obama-voters jury.
100% of the evidence supports Zimmerman's version and Trayvon was a drug-dealing, delinquent, punk with absent (until now) parents.
I had no idea YOU were such an expert. Heading to Florida to assist with your legal brilliance?
Well it's Florida- where the walking dead are everywhere.
What all you Zimmy supporters seem to miss during the whole god dam thing is that drugs, thug, "whatever" had "ZERO" to do with Zimmy murdering TM.
Was it a drug deal? No.
Also, Zimmy boy was the "initiator". TM was simply minding his very own business.
That's why this story is receiving world wide attention. Zimmy boy "murdered" and innocent person then cries the "stand your ground law"! "THEN" all you racists try and look at TM's background as if it gave Zimmy the right to murder him. Jesus Christ man! WTF!
Also, I am sorry for all you racists waisting your money for all the wrong reasons.
CD
If George gets back out, he's going to be asking for folks to fire up those PayPal accounts again. This man has credit cards to pay off.
His lawyer has already stated that they will go back online to ask for more money for his legal fees. He does not qualify with his assets for a public defender.
The purpose of bail is to insure, by putting up one's own assets as collateral, that one will appear for trial.... how is putting up money donated by unknown parties incentive to do anything, especially when one faces serious charges?........ Whatever the facts turn out to be concerning the night of Trayvon Martin's death, Zimmerman intentionally misled the court, allowed his wife to perjure herself, failed to disclose his valid 2nd passport & transferred money from the paypal account in a manner that suggests the desire to avoid detection....... these facts, taken together, could convince a reasonable person that flight to avoid prosecution just might be on his mind
Fric,
And to pay his bodyguards.
Yup- The lawyers site does state "To cover living expenses".
"LIVING" expenses. LMAO.
Didn't register for a second. Too funny man! Good one.
They should have left the shackles and handcuffs on this little twerp. You can dress him up but he is still a POS in a suit. He shot a defenseless teenage kid and deserves to rot in jail.
I wonder how many girls won't be raped and murdered; and how many homes won't be burglarized; and how many walls won't be tagged; etc., now that Trayvon is dead.
Thank you George Zimmerman.
Well I see the little racist has come out to play.
mtr-- What a idiot you are. I think maybe you are the one burglarizing, murdering and raping. You can't speak for a dead man that you don't even know, so you must be speaking for yourself. Go join Zimmerman, better yet, go take his place and see how well you fair. Since you think its ok.
Really Ashley? Where child rapists and serial murderers are in suits in court..... good lord! And mtr89123-2020 I support Zimmerman, but your comment was disgusting.
@mtr89123-2020,
Wow someones mind ran with that one. So that's what it sounds like when you're racist. You're what people call a mindless prick.
Mann,
You nailed it dude.
@Creek Dog,
Thanx Creek Dog, but actually I'm a female that's just my last name. LOL!!! No harm done though.
ashley
They did prove on Mythbusters that you CAN polish a turd.
A huge dude with tats?
So Zimm could see those tats through his hoodie?
Walking while black is not a crime to most normal human beings, and Martin was unarmed, well except for skittles and iced-T.
I feel sorry for people who think it's alright to kill, because you are losing a fistfight!
Walking while black is not a crime. Anywhere but Sanford Florida.
Excuse me but when someone says "you're going to die". Its not a fistfight anymore.
Walking while under the influence of narcotics is a crime. Please don't forget that. :D
Ron, you still believing that lie Zimmerman is telling? Well you might as well let him lead you off that bridge too.
Dan, the tox report say he had THC in his system but it was such a small amount that the ME could tell he hadn't smoked that day. I don't believe you can stay High off a joint for days. You got your drugs mixed up. What drug are you on today?
@dan123123123,
You're so right.....maybe had George not been under the influence none of this would have happened. Don't do drugs Zimmerman because crime doesn't pay.
Appears it's paying for Zimmerman. ---> manns1963.
@Stephen Nichols,
For now, but just remember a fool and his money shall part.
"We all lied the first time but this time we're telling the truth."
Even msnbc lied telling the story. Got cought dr. the 911 call.
Not so fast Georgie. You got some 'splainin' to do.
I see they let you get by with not having to appear in jail garb or shackles. I guess you're still really special George. You'll probably get bail (after all, it ain't money you had to earn) but I wouldn't trust you to go for coffee and come back with the right change.
So what...I wouldn't trust me with cash money either! Lol. I have entrepreneurial characteristics... and that change is mine. Especially if I had to go for it bi.
who cares how much money he had. what dos that have to do with. should be a standard amount for bond.
keep it going. what next. might think who is this all for.
Don't know much about bail and what it is for, do you?
Stop talking if you don't know what you are talking about. A murderer can't have the same bail as say a person who was picked up with a joint in his pocket. Whatever man.
Where can I go donate money to Zimmerman's Paypal account?
Go figure it out for yourself. (If you can my little racist.)
I've heard that Sam's Club is taking payments directly. Just call them and tell them you're paying off his card.
I assume that would be ... paypal.
mt,
Sure is easy posting your stupid ass comments. Isn't it?
But without your pic up there, you're a coward doing it. Really. You're a real tough guy huh? LMAO.
You and the rest of them. Not "one single one" of you guys have your personal photo up yet, you say such asinine @!$%#!
Take a look at me.................. just out of sight I'm actually giving you the finger. LMAO>>>>>>>> Heh heh...
You see, this "is" my real pic and I post whatever I want. Know why? 'Cause I have Balls brotha. Something you don't have in the Cyber world.
Yet you're the one on here acting like an internet tough guy...
Intelligence- something it seems too many people lack nowadays.
Yet you're the one on here acting like an internet tough guy...
You see, we can all play this game. Put your "real" pick up there and defend a murderer.
What are you afraid of? I put my real pic up and say what I believe. Why wouldn't you do the same?
I defend "against" racism. If this goes on too far, this Country will only get worse. It's like opening a door for someone (any color) and they think "that was a nice thing to do" so they do the same for someone else and so on, and so on.
Whereas, you let the door slam in someones face while looking at them, then they do the same as if all people are like that, and so on, and so on.
Whens it going to end and or, when are we going to start trying?
You're the only one playing a game here troll. I've got no need to come online and talk trash about people, claiming that showing a face will make a difference.
Why do you assume I'm afraid of anything? I had my pic up there for quite awhile- and it doesn't change anything compared to the pic I have now.
How, by trashing people and making absolutely no worthwhile comments on the actual article or case? Yeah- really defensive there.
@Creek Dog
You're alright brother........if only all people could feel the same way.
Zanny,
Hell yeah! We're ALLLLL trolling. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHYYYAAA BAAAAABY!
That's WTF this forum is for right?
Tell me, you trolling?..................Obviously you can't lie since it's ALLLLLLL in writing. Heh heh.
Don't have time for the rest of your crap.
Have a nice day.
And Manns1963, (BTW, that's my birth year) you have a nice weekend sweetheart. ;-)
mtr89123-2020, Just give the money to me and I'll make sure Georgie Porgie gets it. Or better yet, flush it down the toilet since that is probably better use than giving money to a perfect stranger with a penchant for lying.
911 Operator: “911, what’s your emergency?”
Zimmerman: “Yeah, I got my eye on this guy. Looks like he’s up to no good.”
911 Operator: “We’re sending out a squad car right away Sir. Do not follow him.”
Zimmerman: “Pffft….don’t follow him. Kick me out of the police academy, will they. I’ll show them who can be a good cop.”
Zimmerman: Damn, this dude is kickin’ my a$$. Guess I better shoot him.
Zimmerman: Well, here’s another fine mess I’ve got myself into.
Of course, I wasn't there, so I don't know what happened. It's my guess anyway. ;o)
lol Fric. If a 911 operator tells ME to take aspirin cause of chest pain- I'd do what they say myself- appears some people wouldn't..
Too funny man. I could probably add to that but it's good enough.
Have a nice weekend.
Hey Creek. Dude, I coulda ran with that all day long. LMAO....I posted it one other time and it got deleted. Guess I hurt someone's itty bitty feelings. You have a good weekend too man. Stay cool. It's 102 in my neck of the woods. Peace. :o)
Trayvon was destined to be, yet another, burden on society.
I am shocked that he didn't have several babies and baby-mommas running the streets, just like him.
That will probably come out after the trial...if there is a trial.
FREE ZIMMERMAN NOW
mtr89123-202
I think you have smoked to much METH and living in a trailer has mess up your brain....
It took mtr 7 hours to write that....
MTR
Your just another coward that GZ could have had his way with Girl-Friend, you say all that to cover up your lack of MANHOOD!!! lol!!! You would have been terrified of Little Georgie!!! lol!!!
I certainly hope your hateful racist @ss is not breeding. I'm probably too late.
A racist is one who believes in the superiority of his/her race. I just follow the facts and 50% of all Black men have committed a felony. more than 60% of violent crime is committed by Blacks. Quoting facts makes me a racist.
msteel - quoting facts does not make you a racist. Blindly quoting them to make some silly point does. Your statisics don't absolve GZ of any crime the he may or may not have committed. They only serve to try and discredit a dead black teenage. You must be so proud of your ability to remember statics you read and apply them into situations where they are not valid. While your "following" the facts does not make you a racist. your intentions for using said "facts" is somewhat suspect. But hey I get it, these facts don't apply to you so it's ok to use them. I'm sure however we can find some interesting facts, which do relate to you that I'm sure you would be none to happy about.
We need to elect Zimmerman president. After yesterday America isn't even a country any more. I can't find it on a map. The Kenyan wants to use Obamacare to take away the Second Amendment. They are going to take my guns and only George Zimmerman can save America now.
What in the Blue Hell are you talking about???
...nut
He's talking about an administration that is trying to steal the rights of American citizens to own and carry firearms. What in the blue hell are you thinking Daveb? Why don't you keep up or keep quite.
Seamus,
When you speak of the POTUS please refrain from calling him "the Kenyan". There is no proof that he isn't an American and he deserves the respect that comes with that position, whether you agree with his policies or not. Just so you know the facts, his name is President Obama.
As far as the ACA is concerned, I don't know what is in it (yes I admit it, I don't) and will reserve judgement until I do. I doubt that your right to bear arms will be affected by it though. At least I hope not.
Come November we will see if he will continue to be the POTUS, but until then he is. Again whether you like it or not!
Now just stick to the story and refrain from calling our President names, or anyone else for that matter.
WOW saoirseo8 this is still the United States of America for now anyway so that gives people the right to refer to Obama how they want too.Sorry but i have no respect for the moron in the white house Odumbo.
One Big Ass Mistake America
Defend America Defeat Obama(aka Odumbo)
Oh yeah before i forget GZ deserves bond he is not a flight risk.
@mtr89123-2020,
It must be really lonely living in your world with no friends and barely a life. Insulting a dead child and referencing stereotypes about his life speaks volumes about the type of person you are. Honestly if it rained brains your a** would never get wet. You're what we call a waste of skin.
Wow back at you AngryWhitemale! Just because I CAN call you or anyone else, for that matter, names doesn't mean I should or will.
I did not say one way or the other on how I personally felt about our current President, I simply implied that he IS the POTUS and we, as Americans, should respect that title regardless of who holds it.
But that's okay if you do not agree with me because that is your right as is mine to disagree with you on the matter.
In all sincerity I hope that you are having a great day here in the Grand US of A.
They are using Romney care, no more free loading basically. Look up what Romney did as governor, he talking alot of @!$%# when he did the same thing.
The Kenyan is going to use Obamacare to take our guns unless we elect Zimmerman for president.
Seek help immediately!!
LMAO!
It's funny how people that thought America was for "them" suddenly realize that the Constitution covers EVERYONE. The country you used to know and love (that made bigotry and oppression commonplace) has been replaced by one that embraces all.
Live with it!
...or move!
Thanks to people like you Daveboy.......there is an epidemic of black on white violence in this country. Has been for years, will continue for years until we all STAND OUR GROUND.
Treyvon stood his ground and got killed for it.
I think it's more of an epidemic of ignorance against logic. An epidemic of apathy. An epidemic of xenophobia. An epidemic of fear - people fearing change, fearing people who are different from themselves, fearing what they don't understand and are unwilling to understand because it may undermine their ignorance and force them to accept reality.
Wrong again, SoxFan - Travon went into gangsta mode and arrogantly attacked and was shot in self-defense.
Unless you were there anything and everything is pure conjecture on your part. Besides which the article is abot Zimmerman getting bail. It was revoked for a reason and it should stay revoked in my opinion. Although I honestly believe Zimmerman will walk, not that I agree or for that matter disagree. I live in Florida but a different county so I will not sit on the jury and only they will decide not anyone on here pro or con.
WE dont know what happen on that day we was not there but if it turns out that he is a racist and it comes out to be just that and he is sent to JAIL for it..... i would like to know why is it that we in others STATES that have a (STAND YOUR GROUND) LAW in your state why is it that we shall have to pay for he has done...........and that LAW just may someday save your MOM.DAD.SISTER.BROTHER.WIFE.KIDS and your own LIFE ..
George Zimmerman seems to have three ways of presenting himself:
.
l. The gentle CHOIRBOY LOOK (like the boy who tries to look innocent after he has pulled the pigtails of the girl sitting in front of him in the classroom)
.
2. The Strong self assured looking police cadet type (like what is seen in his re-enactment video at the scene the next day with the investigators. There, standing tall, he relates what happened the night of the shooting .)
.
3. The quick tempered reactionary (like when he threw a woman when he had been hired once to be a security bouncer at a drinking party---when he confronted and pushed a police officer at a bar----when he argued and pushed his ex-financee who took out a restraining order against him. These illustrate how quickly Zimmerman's temper can flare up.)
I'd rather have 1000 Zimmerman's as my neighbor(s), than one Trayvon (or his criminal-breeding parents).
Everybody shooting everybody up, we could call it Dodge city. On the count of three.....draw.
At least in Dodge City it was safe for a woman to walk down the street at night because everyone had lots of guns. Dodge City was the safest city in America because everyone had guns.
You should do a little more readin' up on Dodge city....partner.
Yeah, because it's better to have 1000 gun owners with not a clue of how to properly judge a person and situation than it is to have a KID minding their own business.

Every time I read your comments. I say, "this must be a 10 year old kid". Really.
Not too many adults would write such sh!t. Unless the KKK.... Oohhhhhh. THAT'S IT!
