Subscribe to RSSA staffer working at the Obama campaign headquarters in Chicago collapsed and died, the Chicago Tribune reported Saturday, citing campaign officials.
Paramedics were dispatched shortly before 11 a.m. on Friday to attend to Alexander Okrent, 29, after he became unconscious, the report said, citing a Chicago Fire Department spokesman.
He was pronounced dead at 11:45 a.m., the report said. Police were not called because the incident did not appear suspicious, but an autopsy was scheduled to determine the cause of death, it said.
President Barack Obama, who was campaigning in Virginia, called Okrent’s family to offer condolences, the Tribune said, citing campaign officials.
Okrent's LinkedIn profile describes him as a paid media and polling regional director at Obama for America and shows that he has worked in a variety of capacities for the Obama campaign since 2003-2004.

While it certainly could have been a medical condition I am thinking I bet there are drugs involved in this one. Either way it is still tragic for the family.
While I have no love lost for anyone in Pres. Obama's administration, it is sad to see one so young go like this. My condolences to his friends and family. And I find the jokes and bickering distasteful, on both sides.

Yes this is a sad event especially for the young man and his family.

I feel so bad for the young man's family. I offer my heartfelt condolences to them in their time of great sorrow. It is truly tragic when somone so young is plucked from God's great Earth, such as this one was, and a life full of promise, hopes and dreams go unfulfilled. If I had a son, he would look just like this young man.

he likely died because of 3 reasons:
1) He found out 0bama was a pure communist douchebag who worships Karl Marx and the USSR in the cellar beneath the whitehouse while listening to the USSR's national anthem.
2) 0bama had too much gay sex with him... and he caught a rare STD or disease that turns him braindead (but then again... liberals are born braindead.)
