Annie Dalton confirms that her great-niece, Veronica Moser, 6, was among those killed Friday's Colorado movie theater shootings.
Updated at 3:39 p.m. ET: As victims and relatives began to return Saturday to the theater where a gunman killed 12 people in Aurora, Colo., a 6-year-old girl was confirmed to have been among the victims.
Veronica Moser, 6, died in the shooting rampage Friday morning, her great-aunt, Annie Dalton, told NBC News.
Fifty-eight other people were injured in the shootings. Twenty-eight remained in area hospitals Saturday afternoon, seven of them in critical condition. James Eagan Holmes, 24, a graduate student at the University of Colorado-Denver, was arrested outside the theater, clad in black body armor and armed with three weapons.
Veronica's mother, Ashley Moser, 25, was shot in the throat and the abdomen. She remains paralyzed in critical condition and hasn't been told of her daughter's death, Dalton said.
"This is just a nightmare right now," Dalton said. "It's a nightmare.
"Eveything's surreal. It's just surreal."
People who attended the midnight screening of "Batman: The Dark Knight Rises" were allowed to return to the theater Saturday to retrieve their automobiles, which were left behind during the evacuation and subsequent investigation. Some of them left flowers and flags as tributes.
Victims of Colo. shooting include sailor, aspiring sportscaster
Military authorities identified two victims Saturday, confirming that Petty Officer Third Class John Larimer, 27, Air Force reservist Jesse Childress, 29, assigned to the 310th Force Support Squadron at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora, died from their injuries sustained in the shootings.
The Arapahoe County Coroner's Office confirmed the identities of 11 fatalaties and tentatively confirmed the 12th who died in the shooting rampage and its aftermath.
In Colorado and across the country, friends and family members of missing moviegoers anxiously awaited word on their loved ones, hoping for good news but fearing the worst.
The final bodies were removed from the theater a little after 5 p.m. Friday (7 p.m. ET), Aurora police chief Dan Oates said. He said police met with about 70 family members and friends to give an accounting of bodies that had been identified.
Police said families of the dead were being notified Friday night.

'It just lit up the theater'
Survivors said gunman was calm and purposeful as he opened fire from the front of the theater about 12:39 a.m. (2:39 a.m. ET).
"He shot once, and it just lit up the theater," said Pierce O'Farrill, who was attending the film with a friend. O'Farrill was wounded in the shoulder and the leg, and friend was also shot. Both are expected to survive.
After barely escaping a mall shooting last month, aspiring sports reporter Jessica Ghawi did not survive the theater shooting. Her brother spoke to reporters about her remarkable spirit. NBC's Kristen Dahlgren reports.
"He cocked and shot again," O'Farrill said. "At that moment, I grabbed my buddy, and we just hit the deck you know. I said, 'Get down! We have to get down!' And so I just buried my head down just in the aisle and just started to pray."
Stephen Barton and a friend were driving across the country from Connecticut and happened to be in Aurora when they decided to take in the "Dark Knight Rises" opening. Barton was wounded in the shoulder.
"At the time, I thought it was still fireworks. Then I got hit here," he said, pointing to his shoulder, "and then I realized it was something much more serious. And then people started screaming. There was a lot of chaos."
Patricia Legarreta of Denver, who was attending the movie with her fiancé and her two young children, suffered shrapnel wounds in her leg.
"There was a moment when the shooting stopped and I saw people running, and at that moment I just grabbed the baby and I just grabbed my daughter, just got out as fast as I could," Legarreta told NBC station KOB of Albuquerque, N.M. Legarreya recently moved to Denver from Espanola, N.M., where most of her family lives.
"I was thinking: 'We just gotta get out. I just gotta get out the doors, and if I fall dead just get my kids out of here," she said.
"It was just so horrible."
Aurora is a suburb less than 10 miles east of Denver, with a population of about 333,000 people. It is just 15 miles northeast of Columbine High School in Littleton, scene of a 1999 massacre in which two gunmen killed 12 fellow students and a teacher and wounded 26 other people before killing themselves.
The Red Cross set up a Safe and Well list where victims can list themselves to let their relatives know they're alive. You can view the list here.
Elizabeth Chuck, Leanne Gregg, Zoya Khan and Marian Smith of NBC News and Chris Jansing and Dax Tejera of MSNBC-TV contributed to this report.

Who needs Al Qaeda ? We have each-other !!!!
If we cant control these twits like Klebold and now this, we seriously need to rethink our gun laws.
Steveo14,
What's it like to be a soul-less troll?
Do you honestly think that banning guns is going to keep them out of "outlaws"? There are countless ways for people to get their hands on them illegally. Obummer and Holder are good examples of that. How about you try arming yourselves instead? If more people would actually conceal & carry, this wouldn't be an issue.
Sure, what a joke! If someone in that dark and smokey theater would have been carrying a concealed weapon, you know what we'd have?? 13 dead instead of 12. You've been watching WAAAAAY too many John Wayne movies! Wake up.
So tell me Jack, what makes you an expert on the subject...
Interesting to point out, all the shootings have been in a 'Defence Free Crime Zones'!
O' I'm sorry, did I mention I'm a retired Federal Employee who assisted Local, State and Federal Law Enforcement including the FBI
I'll will carry my weopon while youcarry your cell phone, at least I'll give those around me a fighting chance to live!
Hey Jack and Lusitania, you have no clue. Even if guns were illegal this evil sob would have still been armed because the old cliche that says "if guns are outlawed, then only outlaws will have guns" is very true. I carry a concealed weapon and the people around me are safer because of it.
@LIARSINPOLITICS=DUH
??? COME AGAIN ? ASK YOUR MOTHER...you do know who your mother is right ? The one that conceived and delivered you anally? yup , thats the one standing next to your daddy(her cousin).
Listen shi* for brains, all I WAS saying is that is that we have more dangerous people living next door to us eating apple pie vs the savages that we are trying to protect ourselves from overseas.
I made no disrespectful comment what so ever to the dead, missing, hurt or people suffering from their loss....SO DON'T OVER-READ INTO SOMETHING, ALL BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE A LIFE!
An unspeakable tragedy that nobody can explain or rationalize. All we can do is pray for the families and the victims. Various reports talk to young children and even babies being in the theatre and now we find out one 6 year old is dead...in a movie completely inappropriate for children under 13. That just adds to the tragedy.
My thoughts and prayers are with all,but why take a six year old or a 4 month old to a midnight movie. They should be in bed asleep. They can go at an reasonable hour.I have 2 six year old and I would never have them out that late,no matter what.
Also it was a PG-13 movie. What kind of parent takes their 6 year old to PG13, midnight movies?
This piece of @!$%# should be executed by fully-automatic firing squad.
This scumbag shooter was a part of the Occupy Movement here in San Diego. That should tell you all you need to know about that sick bastard.
I agree with Egan, post 24.10. Why do people take small children to a midnight showing of a movie rated inappropriate for children. Hope this movie was worth it to the little girl right before she was brutally murdered.
This is the ultimate in selfishness and stupidity of people today!
For anyone who thought this movies was obviously inappropriate for young children. It may not be as inappropriate as you may think according to the MPAA definition of PG-13, which is the rating of this movie.
PG-13 — Parents Strongly Cautioned. Some Material May Be Inappropriate For Children Under 13. A PG-13 rating is a sterner warning by the Rating Board to parents to determine whether their children under age 13 should view the motion picture, as some material might not be suited for them. A PG-13 motion picture may go beyond the PG rating in theme, violence, nudity, sensuality, language, adult activities or other elements, but does not reach the restricted R category. The theme of the motion picture by itself will not result in a rating greater than PG-13, although depictions of activities related to a mature theme may result in a restricted rating for the motion picture. Any drug use will initially require at least a PG-13 rating. More than brief nudity will require at least a PG-13 rating, but such nudity in a PG-13 rated motion picture generally will not be sexually oriented. There may be depictions of violence in a PG-13 movie, but generally not both realistic and extreme or persistent violence. A motion picture’s single use of one of the harsher sexually-derived words, though only as an expletive, initially requires at least a PG-13 rating. More than one such expletive requires an R rating, as must even one of those words used in a sexual context. The Rating Board nevertheless may rate such a motion picture PG-13 if, based on a special vote by a two-thirds majority, the Raters feel that most American parents would believe that a PG-13 rating is appropriate because of the context or manner in which the words are used or because the use of those words in the motion picture is inconspicuous.
Oh please. Why do I think an amateur marksman discharging a firearm in a crowded, dark, and smoke-filled theater is a BAD idea?? Are you serious with that question??
I have zero sympathy for a mother who took their kid to a PG-13 movie after midnight. She should be charge with child neglect. I do feel sorry for the rest of the family.
Parents who don't have their kids in bed by 10 (some exceptions) are bad parents to begin with. The child is probably in a better place then at home with a neglectful parent
Well i have sympathy for everyone in that movie theater!! There is no law as well on when you have to have your children home. For gods sake it was a move theater not a bar..The only thing i see that was wrong was a man walking in a movie theater and shooting innocent people. I also have sympathy for the mom whos six year old died and she is in critical condition and does not even know her baby is gone. How can you say you have no sympathy! Its heartless scum in the world like you who think they know it all. Your probaly not even a parent.
Wow Bryce how is it to live in a place so high that you can look down on others and judge them so harshly? For one thing, not all kids are created equally. Some mature at different rates than others. From what I've read about this young girl, she had probably been forced to grow up fast and a PG-13 movie was the least of it. If you feel that being shot and killed is better than a 6 year old being subjected to a PG-13 movie I have to say your thought processes are seriously messed up. See a therapist asap.
LOL, CT you are trying to make an argument with someone that advertises himself as a loser Pot-Head(420)
@ SprDg well said.
To the families...God Bless each of you & I pray you find the comfort you need to get through this. Not all of us are insane like this guy.
Pass it on to your friends and family ----
Aurora Victims Fund
Pssst, Stevo 14
It's "al-Qaeda".
Pssst, your a moron!
@mrz-1191248
REALLY ? WOW...is that the best you could do ? google ass-face...its both ways...and BTW WHO REALLY GIVES A FLYING PUCK ?
Millions remain in shock over the senseless murder of twelve movie goers. Americans are a compassionate people, they are not only concerned with their own lives but with the well-being of others. It is a time for sharing; the prosperous must pay more taxes so others can have a better and longer life.
You started off well but just went straight down with political rhetoric.
This is so terrible......Why is it so easy to obtain weapons in this country....? Why do we need to have assault weapon's that have large capacity clips.....Why do Americans need assault weapons anyway? Without these type of weapons, it would have been impossible for him to shoot so many people.....If he only would have had a shotgun for example....The pistol's probably also had a large capacity clip...It's about time we address gun control in this country...Because of the type and capacity of theses weapons, this man had the time to shoot over 70 innocent people.....We control drinking and driving, we even control cell phones, why not guns? It's about time the NRA is put in its place...To many innocent people are dying for profit...
What a terrible tragedy....My heart goes out to these families...
Dying for profit? really? Do you really think criminals care about what laws there are? this guy was hell-bent on killing people. He rigged bombs at his home to kill police, you think he could have just walked in with bombs strapped to himself and killed just as many people?
The 2nd amendment is in place to allow law abiding citizens the right to protect themselves, their families and their property from criminals and a tyrannical government. What would have happened if being a concealed carry permit holder was less of a stigma and more common. This guy would be dead and many fewer people would be dead and injured because responsible citizens would have protected them.
Bottom line is you can enact all the laws you want but criminals don't care about laws. The government is not always going to be there to protect the people, so making laws that make it illegal to protect themselves is ridiculous.
Hello PDug19, This has noting to do with Gun control, this is another Dumb @!$%#ing Anti American Muslim!!! Have you notice that they will not show his Mother on TV?? Because She is a Head dress wearing dirty Muslim in SD,Cal!. And today they started their Ramadan for 30 days they can't drink,Eat,and or taste anything until the sun goes down!! So get all the facts.
Enough violence! I am praying for the victims and their families. Also, I am boycotting any fast food restaurant that gives out Dark Knight Rises toys! The children receiving those toys are not even old enough to see the movie! If they have the toys, they will want to see the movie. It is ridiculous to have toys for adult movies. McDonald's website page on happy meals won't work today.
Boycott the NRA....and gun laws that allow these kind of weapons to be purchased by anyone at anytime....if you want to really do something.... These restaurants are not guilty of anything.
Ridiculous! Batman has been a cartoon for years, boycotting is absolutely ridiculous. Going to burn the comic books too? Instead, parents need to be parents and use common sense when a movie is not appropriate for kids and say NO! As for the parents that haul their kids to a midnight showing, get a babysitter or stay home & wait for it to come out on DVD.
Thank you, Dustoffdaughter. I would like to know why someone is taking a six-year-old to a midnight showing of a PG-13 film. Or a baby, for that matter. When we had a child, we realized that our social lives would be limited. We don't always go to the movies, and my husband and I take turns seeing a movie alone if it is not suitable for our child. Otherwise, we wait for the DVD.
I am not downplaying the tragedy of innocent victims. I do question peoples' parenting skills these days, though. Just because parents want to go to the movies doesn't mean they should haul their kids along whatever the hour. Also, the PG-13 rating is in effect for a reason. And, as for kids wanting to see a movie because of toys, Happy Meals, or whatever...well, there is always the word "no." If something isn't appropriate, it isn't, and that's that.
As for all who perished, may they be at peace. May the wounded somehow get past this horror. And, may our country find a way to prevent gun violence. There has to be a way to get guns off the street once and for all...
Liz; Glad to see there is somebody who puts the welfare of their children FIRST.
This mother was badly injured too.
It'll be interesting to see the excuses made for the behavior of THIS lunatic.
My thoughts on the gun issue is if this guy could not get guns he would have used explosives at the movie theater trapping everyone inside killing them all, Where he got his knowledge with explosives is disturbing! From my guess he wanted to be seen be in control, inflict fear and panic because that is probably how he felt in his world he had no control of his world , He copied the Kind of stuff you see in violent video games. He played a character..The Joker. In the end he is a sociopath because to not have emapathy for another human you have to be sick in the head. Sociopaths can go through life and seem normal but they are far from normal. Most sociopaths are very smart, there are small clues on spotting one, There is no cure for a sociopath. They are born this way. No one will ever understand his actions because we are not wired like that. I dont think all sociopaths are killers but for whatever reason he is. What makes another person just kill people is beyound me and its something i will never understand. We are not supposed to understand. I saw a article in the news i guess a toddler wandered off and a dog found the baby and stayed with the baby layed next to the baby at night to keep the baby warm. the owners of the dog went looking for there dog and found the dog and the baby curled up together. Even animals know better. I hope more research goes into the treatment or cure for sociopaths. This world we live in today is getting sicker and sicker. My prayers to the victims. God Bless
These Jokers will find the weapons no matter what YOU do,,,the only way I can see to curb this is to send this man to Iraq and let the beheaders film it for those who want to watch,,but he should have been taken care of right there..
Not totally true.....There needs to be limits on capacity for one thing.....If he had a six shot pistol and a shotgun, he would have not had the time or ability to shoot so many.....Why can Americans buy Assault weapons and pistols so easily, but can't use a cell phone when driving.....Just don't make sense to me..
The same would have been true with the Gabby Giford shooting....He has large capacity clips which allowed him to get off so many shots...
Give me a break,,they are going to get them either way and what are YOU going to do to stop it? If this JOKER thought any of those un armed citizens in that theater had a weapon he would have been hiding back home,,,give ME a break!!!
You are wrong......If it's illegal to manufacturer clips with such high capacity and illegal to own them, it would make a difference....Not in every case, but to say it would not make any difference, you are not thinking it through.....Big difference buying this kind of weapons legally and easily, vs Illegally, some of these type of guys would be caught just trying to buy the stuff.....big difference..
What does a normal American need with assault rifles with 30 round clips and high capacity pistol clips that only Police use to be able to own.....Makes no sense at all...
Well if your a CRIMINAL do you really care if you buy weapon legally,,and if your not WHAT DO YOU DO THEN?
brentley:
Your argument makes sense if you have a flashing light on you or some sort of glow in the dark ribbon that designates that you are carrying.
Otherwise, how would anyone be deterred, if they cared at all about being deterred, by their knowledge of armed citizens? I think that this assault would have been carried out just for the fact that the individual doing so could have cared less. And should you and everyone else watching the movie been armed, would you also have been wearing the protective gear the assailant was supposedly wearing?
I question the fact that should everyone in the audience have been armed it would have created a deterrent. The argument would give credence to the fact that "guns kill people", or just being armed will protect them from harm, and diminishes the fact put out that "people kill people". It's one or the other. I'm open to debate.
Brentley you are missing the point and I am not going to argue with you....This kid was only 24 and not a criminal until he did this.....Why should a 24 year old have access to such weapons of mass destruction...If he would have had for example just a shotgun,,,he still would have shot several people, but with a 5 shot limit....no where near the damage would have been done...
First this guy knew what he was doing,,second he would have found a way to do it,,so what do YOU do about it? Gun laws will not stop this,,,really if somebody wants to do this they will find a way,,,My only point( I guess) is why is this man still alive answer THAT!
Brentley,
How old are you? I would guess 16 to 21...
Hey how old or YOU ,,your point being if he only had legal weapons(according to YOU) he would have killed less people,,,hope YOU except that if this ever happens to YOU? GROW UP!!
Brentley,
You don't have enough life experience to understand what I am talking about......It obvious....I am a Vietnam Vet.....I have experience with weapons and the damage they can do.... unfortunately. seen it first hand, young man.. You will get it one day....No reason anyone much less a 24 yr old should be able to buy the same kind of weapons used by the police and the military.. Big difference between a pistol with 6 shots and and Glock with 15 shots....Big difference between a shotgun and a assault rifle.......
PDug19,
You have zero understanding and just want to believe this tragedy would have been averted if all firearms would be banned. Individuals wishing to cause mass destruction like this psychopath would find any way to obtain their goal. He used IEDs which can be made from may household goods.
How old are you? Your posts seem to lead one to believe around 30 but your stance seems very sophomoric.
Liar,
Read my posts again......Never said nothing that you posted....You will also discover how old I am...
Is Colorado a Concealed and Carry gun law state? If so, you'd think one out of 200 in the theatre, might have had a gun and fired on the perp trying to stop him?
Well dog face as a vet(and i am too btw) if they sent you into combat with only what was legal and YOUR enemy really didnt care WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
Look Bentley,
You talk like you are 10 yrs old.....I think your mother is calling you..... You are not capable of critical thinking....not worth my time....Your replies say it all...
YOU know dog face you really try to come across so smart then regress into this childish BS,,,grow up?
brentley:
This is all about being in a theatre, and that's not a theatre of combat.
Talking about weapons usage in a combat theatre is completely different. One example: sawed off shotguns are questionable, but if they do the job, they do the job.
I don't think the citizens of this country have got to the point where they really think civilians ought to not follow the law. "Well regulated" is what we are talking about. Not about the rights of a bunch of individuals out to do harm to our civilian population.
Well if people are shooting at me in a theatre and there killing babies,,,Im sorry thats combat and if they want to call themselves the JOKER and just come out and expect dog face justice then so be it?
4thDownHuddleUp,
In Oklahoma we can't buy beer on Sunday....We can't buy 5.0 beer in the supermarket, 5.0 beer has to be bought at the liquor store hot..... We can't text and drive.... We can't smoke pot or have small amount's in possession....
But in Oklahoma there is no permit required to own a shotgun, rifle or handgun....and with a permit we can carry a concealed handgun......Other states are even worse.....In Texas you can vote with a Gun Permit, but not a college ID..... Who's protecting who?
Doesn't seem very logical to me......... Just outlawing large capacity clips would make a difference...In the Gabby Gifford shooting the gunman had a 15 round clip, it was only when he had to reload he was tackled....If he had to reload after 6 shots, many more lives would have been saved and many more injuries would have been prevented....Won't help in every case but in this case I believe it would have made a difference if this kid had to purchase these weapons illegally, one, he might have gotten caught trying to buy them, second, he might have changed his mind if getting these weapons would have been difficult....Don't sound like this kid was connected to criminal elements....Third even if he had these same weapons with much smaller capacity, there is a good chance not near as many people would have been shot and had time to escape or someone would have had time to tackle him if he had to reload.....Much more can be done via regulation..
As a responsible gun owner, I can tell you that with practice, large capacity or compliant capacity (10 rds or less) makes no difference. It doesn't take "time to reload". Most shooters with practice can reload a pistol in less than 2 seconds. That isn't enough time for any sort of tackling or takedown.
Instead, what if it was easier for responsible citizens to protect themselves. What if 2, 3, or more people in this theater also were concealed carry permit holders and had their weapons on them? The assailant would be dead, and many fewer people would be killed and injured.
Taking the ability of law abiding citizens to protect themselves away is not the answer. Criminals don't care what the laws are. This guy had planned this for months. If he wanted guns, he didn't have to get them through legal means, he could have bought them out of the back of a van.
People have a constitutional right to defend themselves. The government is not and will not always be around to protect you as evident by this tragedy. Making it harder for people to protect themselves and imposing more government control is definitely not the answer.
PDug19 is a kid who just doesn't understand. He claims he is a vet but we all know that's BS.
I can't believe they have not notified the families of who is dead or not.
That is just not right.
Making these people wait in agony is despicable.
I know it is a crime scene and they have to process it but they need to inform the families if their loved ones were the ones lost or not.
This delay is horrible.
My prayers go out to the families and the victims of this senseless act.
they need to let them know already ive been in a similar situation and for 3 days i didnt know if my then boyfriend now husband was alive or dead no one would tell me anything... I understand exactly what they are going through and my heart goes out to them and i am praying that they let them know NOW.. You cannot imagine the pain of not knowing its horrible
Dear Jesus ... how can this happen??? Prayers, love, hugs and condolences to all the victims, families and injured people. I can not even imagine the magnitude of loss they are feeling. What was the shooter thinking? Can we even begin to comprehend his sickness? I am soooo disheartned with the human race.
Society gets what society tolerates.
The punishment should fit the crime.
Last I saw Colorado still had the death penalty.
I did not mean the doors are locked. They can be open, from the inside. But I was just saying that they check the ones locally to make sure they are not opened to allow entrance from outside.
Reading articles about the Colorado shooting and a number seem to insist on going back to Hollywood being responsible due to violence in films. Millions of people watch movies, play video games, etc, and they do not act violently. This was not an easily influenced teen. This guy was a med student. He graduated with a neuroscience degree. This was a messed up guy who decided he wanted to be famous. The premiere was a prime target because people were trapped in one spot. There was no space between them. It was dark. It could have just as easily been a concert, a sporting event, anything. Stop blaming Hollywood and video game creators and start taking responsibility for your children, friends, etc. His mother did an interview and said it did not surprise her that her son did the shooting. Seriously?
Horrible tragedy, do you suppose it had anything to do with Rush Limbaugh's conspiracy theory of two days ago when he opined that the Bat Man movie was a Left-wing, Obama inspired slander at Mitt Romney because the villain was named "Bane"??...No tea-party wing nut would be that evil..would they?
Watch the movie Idiocracy. You have a starring role.
Rich, Really? Wow
Pick up their cell phones and press 2. That is almost always the quick dial for "Home". At least it would guide the authorities in the right direction.
I understand it's a process, and even bigger than just removing bodies, it's a crime scene and it has to be handled carefully - every piece of evidence and the way it is handled/recorded / including where the victims are in the theater is essential. I hope this man never gets his day in court. Of course I can't imagine what a jury of "his peers" would look like. As far as I'm concerned this man has no peers.
Sooooo sad for all waiting for word. If they haven't heard by now, they probably know the situation is hopeless or very very grim for their loved ones.
I don't know how I feel about personal gun ownership. (for myself personally I do not own one)
I ask myself... what theatre door did he "kick in"...? There was no security AT ALL at the theatre?
Is anybody at the wheel? Meaning, when a movie is playing is anyone observing at all? Did anyone
at all try to take down the shooter or was it just too chaotic and impossible?
Such a tragedy. Thanks for reading my comments and answering any of my Q's that you can.
My thoughts and prayers to all that are involed with this situation.
Why did this guy have body armor from head to toe? If he didn't have the armor he wouldn't have had the balls to commit this insane act. Those people would still be alive today. Body armor should not be available to the general public. If more law abiding people are allowed to carry concealed weapons chances are these kind of crimes would not happen.
Joe:
I would rather have everyone in this country wearing body armor instead of carrying guns. That would be uncomfortable, but make more sense, unless our assailants start using rocket launchers, grenades and armor peircing ammo, some of which have not been allowed to be sold to the common citizen so far.
We can take this debate to the edge of the cliff if you wish. Where did he get the armor? Armor provides the ability for people to kill people, guns don't?
I can't help but wonder if he followed the first named "dead" Jessica...her tweets, how she escaped death not long ago...and posted her thoughts....her tweets are public...and he decided to take care of this now.
nancy- been following thisall day- of course they had police there..precautionary .thats why he was apprehended so quickly...it's the other police teamsmen that took a few minutes to get there
Violence on the screen vs. real life. This is so tragic. My heart goes out to everyone touched by this event in their lives.
Sadly, I think we've just had our first glimpse of the victims' names. My heart aches for their families and friends.
Sad time in Colorful Colorado..... Peace to the victims families and God speed your healing.
Holmes has caused our nation great harm
And for that, he gets the needle in his arm.
Joe:
Have no problem with your feeling. My question is what is the "root" of the problem, and not for the Nation, but for the families that have to suffer through this.
We showed Japan the consequences of their follie not by needles but by blowing the heck out of a couple of their cities. They, for a long time were disarmed, because they were not worthy of being so. We, as citizens of this country better show our worthiness of being armed for the right reasons, and insist we keep tabs on those who take the advantage of the 2nd amendment to the detriment of our hearts.
What part of this statement did the perpetrator of this violence fit into?
you can go to a military outlet and get all the garb, not hte gun...they will sell it to you! it's supposed to be for hunting, or paintball games etc...very easy to access!
