Kevin Cleeves
Three people were shot dead Friday night in rural Pennsylvania, state police said Saturday, and the suspect was later arrested after fleeing with his four-year-old daughter. One of the dead reportedly was the child's mother.
Kevin Cleeves, 35, was under arrest and his daughter was safe in police custody, NBC affiliate WGAL TV reported.
During the search for Cleeves, police also initiated an Amber Alert for the child.
The shootings happened in Quincy Township and Cleeves was arrested some 250 miles away in Austintown, Ohio.
Police said Cleeves had argued with the victims Friday night when he went to pick up his daughter from his wife, the Record Herald of Waynesboro, Pa., reported.
The dead were identified as Brandi Cleeves, Vincent Santucci and Rosemary Holma, the Record Herald stated.

The Herald-Mail of Hagerstown, Md., reported the court documents indicate Brandi Cleeves was the child's mother and Cleeves' wife.
Austintown Police Chief Bob Gavalier said it was his understanding that the Cleeves were separated, and that Santucci was Brandi Cleeves' boyfriend and that Holma was his mother.
More details were expected to be released later Saturday.

I probably woulda shot em too if some other dude was all up in my shi@ when its my daughter and my ex so i dont feel sorry for the boyfriend getting blasted. Hey guns kill!!! Any chump can hold one and shoot, try stabbing a dude 30 times now that takes balls and a stomach cause all that blood squirting on you. I got more respect for OJ now he ran up on two people and shanked both of them with small gloves on and nobody heard or saw nothing, now thats a murderer.Not respect that he killed two people, but the way he did it, still guns are more efficient at killing people. Why dont he just claim self defense like zimmerman, and get people to donate lots of money to him.

Well getreal it just shows what we already knew, we are more of a threat to ourselves and the white man is a threat to everyone.
Were they actually divorced at the time of the shooting? If not the mother had no business with a boyfriend, but that still does not excuse what her husband did.
It seems that, in the real world, not many people seem to uphold this idea at all. So many folks start looking for a new relationship immediately after the legal separation occurs, and many people, politicians for instance, start their new relationships even before the separation and before their old spouse even knows that there is going to BE a separation. Your notion is very out-dated. BTW: I'm not saying that it is right, or that it's wrong, to have a relationship before your divorce is final, just that dating while separated seems to be widely accepted, as are adultery, multiple divorces, and multiple marriages.

I wish it was still like the good ol days myself. Get caught stealing robbing raping or murdering for no good reason they hung you from a short piece of rope and everyone got to watch you swing. There was no life prison sentence. Everyone packed a piece maker. If you and jr had a serious enough problems you just stepped off 10-20 paces and settled up. Government was a lot smaller and not near the whores they are today. Lot more freedoms and folks was more honest and worked for a decent living.
WLYB.........Another custody issue probably handed down by Family Court that screwed the Dad out of "presumed 50/50" custody and has to beg for with his daughter. Now his daughter has no mother an ddad will sit in jail..way to go Family Coury. As always FOLLOW THE MONEY
Why is this family courts fault...DAD is obvioulsy CRAZY, sounds like the court did the right thing except for allowing visitation.
One thing I'm getting out of this from the gun people is they think you stupid if you don.t have a gun . which is admitting crimes with guns are totally uncontrollable . the only way to be safe is to strap one on and be ready to use it , and saying that then there should be no restictions on where you can take it because the bad guys will not respect a sign anymore than they do life

This is an all too common event these days; these perpetrators are unable to bring the ramifications and penalties resulting from their actions into their reasoning processes, unfortunately for their victims. Blind rage kills most murder victims, and another jail cell is filled at taxpayer expense. Anger management classes should start in all schools at about grade 5 or 6, if any progress is to be made toward peace & harmony in our world, IMHO.
He argued with his Wife on Friday when he went to pick up his daughter!!! I believe its a custody argument. 90% chance the victim started. Women are given unfair rights to child custody over father, and that is not right. Women will do anything to alienate the child from his/her father, as with this case she had a step-dad, already. Fix the f*cking custody laws and give fathers 50% rights to children, and you save the children and there will be less shootings.

You think 50/50 custody is the RIGHT thing to do??? Have you ever seen what 50/50 custody does to a child?? I do! 50/50 custody doesn't work for the kid, they are always packing and moving from one house to another. THEY need stability and 50/50 custody doesn't give them stability! It's a selfish way for a parent to get out of PAYING CHILD SUPPORT. YOU ARE A CHUMP! Glad your wife got the kids!

My 4 kids "suffered" through that 50/50 custody and turned out amazing. We weren't anal about anything, in fact we were very informal. The 2 boys stayed with me most of the time the 2 girls stayed with her most of the time. They were often back and forth. I think one year the girls were with me more than half the year.
They are 22, 25 (girls), 29, 31(boys) we separated 16 years ago. All 4 are great human beings.

As for the anti gun folks, if you don't like guns don't purchase them, but, don't EVER try to take MY right to bear arms from me because YOU live in a fear and world where if people can't purchase a gun there will be no gun deaths...yeah right...My gun allows my to NOT live in fear!

To any guy that has gone through a f**ked up divorce...then attacked in family court...this is NO surprise. I often thought how many dudes would "lose it" during the process......The courts are sooooooo F**ked...it actually soured me on my country... Have your child taken away from you because of "claims" from your ex that are unsubstantiated....never proven...pay a lawyer...for the lies....wait months.......OMG you sooooo many people read this @!$%# without any clue to what is going on in the court system.......it is an absolute train-wreck!! This will continue to go on and on and on 50%+ divorce rate....10% wackos= death.....

I'm not saying that what this guy did was right but I understand. I also had a wife who had a boyfried before we were divorced. And of course the courts backed her up. Her boyfriend made twice the money I made but I still had to pay alimoney because "co-habitating" is not the same as marraige. Ohio laws are screwed up. When your ex and the courts take everything away from you and you are the innocent party I understand how this man flipped out.
And to those who think we should do away with all guns you need to take a look at Austrailia. Their homicides and violent crimes went up over 160% after they took the guns away from "law abiding" citizens. Only the criminals will have guns.

When you are living with a married woman, and someone else's daughter, it's time to stay out of it when he comes over to pick up his daughter, argue about custody, etc., unless the woman left the husband because is a scumbag, abuses them etc. And even then you might want to question your involvement.
Vincent Santucci just sounds like a guy who brought muscles and a big mouth to a gunfight. I could be totally wrong, but this sounds like the "wife", boyfriend etc, weren't the classiest people on Earth. And having your child involved in something like that can cause some "emotions" to say the least.
Now do they deserve to be shot? Maybe not. But everyone has a responsibility to at least act like a human being, especially when it comes to marriage and someone's child.
I've worked with a guy, decent enough guy, who gave his brother, (always down on his luck), a place to stay, only to discover his wife f***ing his brother while he worked, supporting both of them. He tried to commit suicide by cop, lived, and is free now.
If he had shot and murdered both of them, I would have felt bad, for him. I'm just saying there are some situations where I understand. Don't waste your time judging me, because I truly don't care.
I'm sure it was self defense, no wait he's white and the victims were white so just maybe he'll actually go on trial for murder? Guns don't kill people but people with guns kill people. I don't understand the cowardice involved in shooting unarmed people. I'd say judging by the picture the perp has the IQ of a grasshopper.
Thank God he didn't kill the kid but now he's deprived that child of both it's mom and dad.
I have been in countries where Guns are banned! All they have done is fix it so Criminals have all the Guns! Honest people can't defined themselves! And the police and or government are never around when you need them! Yes if they catch the criminals they go to jail but there is no capital punishment in those countries and the criminal gets out of jail in less than 20 years! So now if you ban CRAZY first then Honest Citizens may have a gun around to protect them selves when all you crazy anti-gun freaks get mad dawg crazy about not getting ur way and we might be able to stop the next mass killing crazy liberal phd drop out pissed off that occupy didn't work!

Besides there was probably a settlement in place for visitation! And after many attempts to see his child and many court appearances to get his former wife to honor the settlement! And she still would not! He lost control of his anger and instinctt to protect his child as any parent is in danger of doing ( Never ever come between a parent and child with out police help right there!) When a better response to this situation is to call the police Again to force her hillbilly crackhead azz to honor the settlement! All this certainty doesn't stop him from being a hillbilly crackhead or possible even a child abuser! His act certainly endangered his child so who knows you just have to wait for the dysfunctional court case! I feel for the little girl she has now lost both her parents!
Divorce should carry a punishment. Maybe then people "Kim Kardashian" would take marriage seriously then. And kids lives wouldnt be so messed up.
This is a terrible situation for the little girl. Obviously there is more to the story and no one should be judging. Maybe the mom had the child in a bad situation, or maybe the guy is just off his rocker. It is wrong to kill though.
I do know as a parent there is a very deep emotion when it comes to protecting your child. I have a 4 yr old and I can't imagine what this poor girl is having to deal with. My prayers are with her.

The System needs to adjust to the Special Needs of this Man, and the Special people like Him, who Consider the current Penalty for Executing folks like a mobster Hitman, to be Little or NO DETERRENT against folks who think their Childish Anger JUSTIFIES Murder... so if the case is considered "Zero Doubt" regarding Guilt, (in other words not a conviction on "Circumstantial Evidence")Then lets Roll out the Red Carpet, and Generously give them what they Need. A Public Execution, no More Than ONE WEEK from Reading the Verdict... Make it A Firing Squad or A Hanging...
