Its this attitude that has spread nationwide. Young guys i.e. walking four abreast oblivious to anyone in their path--"move you old fart; get out of my way". They will walk right into old men and women--no respect. A cop, for no good reason, took down and beat an old man in Henderson, Nevada a few years back. Try to chastise these guys for their rude behavior and they often challenge the old men to a fight or molest the old women. Could it be that when they were boys of a single parent that they began to hate older people? Why?

The young are barraged with political statements deriding the social programs (entitlements) that support the older people who have worked hard their entire lives and paid into funding these retirement programs. Ask any republican what they think of entitlements and be prepared for the hate and vile they that emanates from them. They state that these old people should have prepared for and saved for their old age (they did, through social security). Is this hatred manifested in the beating up the stealing from the elderly? A beating like the one Porter Cross suffered is uncalled for in a rational, caring society. This beating will certainly shorten his life as is what happens to fragile older people when physical harm befalls them. These little monsters took not only the monies and property of the old man, they also took his life, his well-being too.

Communism, the word you used to attack President Obama, is not socialism. Communism ,truly, is police-state facism, a governmental system where the super powerful are also the super rich (the 1%) and control everything. I decided 3 times not to post to this story, but I just can't let it go by. My dad is a WWII vet and my brother did 2 tours of Vietnam for this country. They are hero's, as is Mr Cross. They fought for this country because that is what real men and women did and still do. They have pride, dignity and a strong sense of worth. Some were born poor, rich, black, white all sizes, shapes, colors, etc. What then is the difference between the vermin that beat up an old man and the hero's of today and yesterday? They were raised to respect people, taught manners and had people to look up to. Now, who do the young people have to look up to? Kids are having kids, priests are molesting little kids, cops are on the make and a family may have or 3 or 4 baby daddy's...No justice system, sports hero's on drugs and in jail.
