TRY AGAIN. TFR's are issued in advance. Usually 48 to 72 hours and some longer. The one for the DNC in September has already been posted. They don't just "pop" up without warning. EVERY pilot is required to get a weather and NOTAM briefing prior to every flight. It really is a simple phone call. 800-WXBRIEF. I am at X going to Y... ummm not today buddy. The FAA also sends emails to anyone who subscribes to the list.

Regardless of when the TFR is posted, there is a mobile no-fly zone around the president at all times. Has been since 9/11, and it goes where he goes, no matter what.

Obama ended the Iraqi war on the timetable established by former President Bush. I would say that is bringing our troops on time. He and our military also completed what Clinton and BUSH startedwith OBL. Afghanistan will take more time. I call that success.

The war (as an American Taxpayer) was a complete waste of our borrowed trillions of dollars. Can you produce a reputable source that shows how much oil we have received from Iraq? I doubt we have received a dime. So for now, the $7.00 a gallon comment is mute.

If Iran closes the straits, then we will act appropriately. Obama has already made it very clear what his response would be.

Former President Bush Senior had a 91% approval rating following the gulf war. 1 year later, his approval rating dropped 57%. Bush Senior choose to have a vigorous re election campaign.
