Subscribe to RSSAn investigation is underway after someone called in a bomb threat to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., on Wednesday morning.
A Walter Reed spokesperson said someone called the center at 8:50 a.m. ET and said something was going to explode at 10 a.m. The center's Building 19, known as the America building, was evacuated and explosive detection dogs were brought in.
Authorities did not find a bomb in the first search of the building, which is for outpatient services. A Navy official said a second search was conducted as an extra precaution.
The center was given the "all clear" at 12:50 p.m. Medical appointments resumed at 1:00 p.m.
No information is available about the person who called in the threat, Reuters reported.
Walter Reed is among the nation's largest military medical centers, and last year the facility made the move from Washington, D.C. to nearby Bethesda, Md. After operating for more than a century, the center is expected to close for good.

Just one more reason that Obama needs to be replaced in November! This mans thinking is truly bizarre. He does not relate to and or understand traditional American values at all. One would think he was born in a foreign country!

If Obama or anyone else opposes the BSA stance on ANYTHING, don't participate in the BSA. Simple as that.

Hope they find the sicko who called this in. Then I hope the sicko falls hard down a flight of stairs during the arrest. I am very hopeful.
It is safe to say that Obama was never a member of the Boy Scouts of America. Also, it is safe to say that he is unaware of the numerous instances where closet homosexual scoutmasters were found to be molesting young scouts. In order to pay off the homosexual and lesbian community for their support, Obama is more than willing to sacrifice the welfare of our children.
It is vital that we vote Obama out of office so that he cannot continue to bring harm to our country. We must get rid of him and all of his appointments, including Karigan who violated her oath by not recusing herself from the issue of Obama's citizenship. It would serve the country well to impeach her and remove her from the court.
Oh, I forgot, oaths of office mean absolutely nothing to liberals. Ethics, to them, is a city in England.
