About how I feel-ty billions from white lies
That last "Perseverance" picture says a lot. We'll get through this. It won't be fun, but we'll get through this. I never thought I'd be hoping for a nice, snowy winter before...
If anyone, and I mean ANYONE, complains about too much snow this winter, they need to look back at these pics. I am with Sionyx, "let it snow, let it snow, let it snow..."
Your all a bunch of sissies. If you can't stand the heat get out of the country. Yeah! Beat it punk.
Yeah buddy!!!! keep exploiting your resources that way mother nature can bite you in the ass for being so careless in times of abundance. drought is a natural process and perhaps could be better resisted and survived with better resource management. Little changes make a big difference with so many people sharing the same supply of basic necessities.
The droughts occur about every 70 years, plus/minus. Why isn't the US prepared? The past data is perfectly clear. Weather forecasters can't predict the day after tomorrow, and often not tomorrow. Climatologists have been so wrong that they should be renamed Moronologists! We have a few thousand years of climate data available from tree rings and ice cores. We know that the climate varies with solar activity. Why are we not prepared for this drought? Because corrupt researchers, incompetent politicians, and ignorant news journalists are driving the show. It is time to require that all politicians have a bachelor in science with statistics, biology, physics, and chemistry courses. News journalist require the same background if they print anything in those realms. Researchers? It is time for tort law. If a researcher publishes crap, any American should be able to sue for malpractice! Sue the researcher, the university, and the peer reviewers! Researchers must be held accountable for their work.
we're not prepared because of idiots like yourself
Is it time for mr grover, the gop, & the rushbo admit that (1) science is right and they are wrong and (2) claim full responsibility for all the problems caused by global warming since it took the over two decades to get to this point. But i can tell you already, that mr grover, the gop, & the rushbo will never, never, never agree with 98% of the world's climate scientists that global warming is caused by co2. It's too al gore.
And like al gore, it conflicts with their ideology. Their religion. What they say their creator is telling them. Their kock's version of the bible. I mean koch's version.
And don't forget. Global warming means extremes in weather. Heat, drought, rainfall, winds, tornadoes, and snow. Extreme. Cost lives. Livelihoods. Does a job on the wild life and don't forget sea life. I tell you the creator, not the kock's version, cannot be happy with mr grover, the gop & the rushbo. They need to forget the kock's version of anything and face the facts before it's too late for them.
it will be a cold day in hell before the right wind denial squad pulls their head out and studies science... there is just too much money in the coal and oil business to allow for science to be recognized
No problems for me on groceries. I can't afford the gas, so I can get to the grocery store. Fires haven't been friendly. We had to leave our homes in town. By luck, we didn't lose any homes. Thank god for our fire fighters. Rain??? What the heck is that? Seems it doesn't exist in this area for the past two years. As far as the cattlemen in this area. They should of put a lot of that money they earned before when it was over-priced, giving them lots of money. Now the price of feed is sky high for them. Farmers with irrigation will do just fine. The one's on dry land farming, it sucks for them. All in all, all of our small time farmers are gone. The rich farmers have bought their farm land. Over all they won't get hurt totally. They have many oil and gas wells pumping. Still I'm sure they will be on the front of the line, asking for government help.
