Residents in the tiny town of Lapeer, Mich., are consumed with speculation as to which of their neighbors holds the winning Powerball lottery ticket with a valued jackpot of $337 million.
The winning Powerball ticket was purchased at a local Sunoco gas station in Michigan, but the ticket holder remains anonymous -- which is fine, because under state law, the winner has a year to come forward. NBC's Kevin Tibbles reports.

It would be funny if President Romney won the lotto .I bet the demo rats would have a field day with that.Obama would try to get his greedy little paws on some of the money and joe would make another gaff.
If I won , I would talk to lawyers and accountants about my options. I would basically try to remain as annoymous as possible. I didnt see if michigan had the option to keep your name from being said to the public. if so I would make sure that would happen...
The owner of the store could find out in seconds who won. He would just have to review the surveillance tape. He knows what time the ticket was sold. It's exactly what happens in the book Ticket for Terror. I read the book and now I wonder about even playing the lottery.
Hopefully someone knows they did win, and didn't just pass thru the State and not pay attention to their ticket...and LOL I wonder when the false claims of winning start coming out, with...someone stole my ticket, or I lost it or I hid it at work and other employees stole it....
Much good luck to the winner(s) of the lotto. Oh, my bad, they've already had the luck by winning.
JOregon, you really are an idiot.
Gee Joey that is insightful - Why?
Congratulations to the winner. It's time to party!
