The unemployment numbers would be at 7.3% if the public sector has not been so decimated by draconian budget cuts and something is not done to move H.R. 1351 thorugh this useless House, up to 3,500 P.O.s will close and what could as many as 100,000 USPS workers w/o a job when this atrocity is completely avoidable by the repeal of H.R. 6407-52 or lat the VERY least, completely eliminating Title IIIV that is forcing the P.O. to prefund retirements by over 5 billion dollars per year out of the Poistal Employees Benefit Retirement FUnd vs what they overpaid into the CSRS since 1971 which as a result of TWO non-partisan audits, resulted in the P.O. overpaying into that fund by 70 BILLION, however, they were mandated to put THOSE overpayments into the US Treasurty vs getting it rtnd to them. The 2006 law mandated the STEALING of that money from the PO in all out goal TO bankrupt them, blame it on the Postal Unions, poor management so the reich wing can arch right in and PRIVATIZE it.
Look up who has been the "real job killers" and drivers of record deficits since it sure is NOT the current Administration. By actual fact checking analysis of $$$ spent by previous Admininstrations, the present one has spent the LEAST since the before Reaganomics became the economic rule for the last 30+ years. Hate Pres Obama all you want but everything he has done has been forced to be deficit neutral and the 112th Congress has been the LEAST productive and WORST in HX. Fact!!! In all fairness, the guy is no doubt suffering some sort of PTSD from his military service - that even with a college degree rendered him unable to function well as an adult. You know don't you; like the Bill he signed into law in January that makes peaceful protest a felony. A law that can land you in jail for up to 10 years for standing on a sidewalk if you are participating in a peaceful protester.
