In this July 7, 2011 file photo, Trenton Mayor Tony Mack listens to a question in Trenton, N.J. He was arrested Monday in connection with a corruption probe.
Updated at 3:10 p.m. ET: Federal authorities arrested Trenton, N.J., Mayor Tony Mack and more than half a dozen other people early Monday in connection with an ongoing corruption probe, NBC 4 New York has learned.
Joseph "JoJo" Giorgianni, a top campaign contributor, and six others were also taken into custody. Specific charges against the suspects are expected to be outlined by Paul Fishman, the U.S. Attorney for New Jersey, later Monday.

Mack and the others arrested Monday were brought to the FBI office in Hamilton for processing and are scheduled to appear in federal court.
A federal magistrate on Monday ordered Mack released on $150,000 bond provided he not leave the state while free on bail, The Associated Press reported.
The arrests are the latest development in an ongoing federal investigation into alleged corruption within Mack's administration, which has been marked by accusations of nepotism and reckless spending. In July, FBI agents searched offices in Trenton City Hall a day after raiding the mayor's home. They also searched the home of his brother, Ralpiel Mack, and that of Giorgianni.
Mack's administration has been in turmoil from Day 1, staggering from one crisis to another. A housecleaning of staff at City Hall opened the door for Mack's own appointees, who quickly turned it into a revolving door. Some left over questions about their credentials, others to face criminal charges.

In Mack's first year in office in Trenton, a city of 85,000, he ran through a string of business administrators. The first resigned after a month, saying the mayor didn't believe in "good government." Another resigned just ahead of pleading guilty to embezzlement at another job.
Mack's housing director quit after it emerged that he had a theft conviction. His chief of staff was arrested trying to buy heroin. His half-brother, whose authority he elevated at the city water plant, was arrested on charges of stealing.
Questions have also been raised about how he financed his campaign for mayor.

A former longtime city employee sued the mayor late last year. The parks department employee said she was let go after refusing to dole out jobs for the mayor's friends, refusing to give federal grant money to people who didn't apply and for inquiring about city funds she said were missing.
The ex-employee also said she was replaced by a Mack supporter who never showed up for his $40,000-a-year job.
A former campaign aide told NBC 4 New York he disassociated with Mack when he "saw the way he was going."
"This is not a surprise," Jerell Blakley said of the probe into Mack's activities. "A lot of people in Trenton were of the opinion -- not of if, but when."

Wow, what a dirtbag.
Huh! Corruption in New Jersey. Hard to believe.
Sounds like a normal Monday in New Jersey.
No, these corruption arrests are more Fridays.
This POS is a DEMOC"RAT".... hey NBC you forget to mention that, you pandering idiots?????
But - then again - most of Jersey is!!!!
Sine you have already gotten the point that he is democrat, did you need to be told? Or did you have nothing else to say?
Yes, because no other local, state, or federal agencies outside of NJ have had corruption scandals. You need to open your eyes. ALL goverment is corrupt. Region OR affiliation makes no difference.
I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, to learn that there is graft and corruption in New Jersey!
The next thing you'll be trying to tell me is that the Governor is involved! I'm shocked.
Surprise, surprise... Another corrupt libtard politician.
I live in NJ. Most states are corrupt, but yeah, we have some of the worst. Nothing on Chicago, or some of the Southern states, though. Wow.
Anyway, to me the joke is that this guy got elected. Think about how many people voted for this charmer....
YO parkwaync I agree with Shosyn, you know and I know that if it was a Republican mayor that would have been headline of the piece..
This clown is a small change chump. A smarter politician uses the mayor-ship of a large city as a mere stepping stone. From there lies the state house or governorship. That's where you get a license to steal some serious pocket money( very little risk, everybody is doing it) with lobbyists and special interests. Still just a stepping stone. The money is decent, but the experience in barely legal thievery is invaluable.
Next stop is the U.S. Congress. Finally, you're in the big bucks. Many politicians are content to remain there wallowing in dirty money for decades. The greediest will reach for the sky, meaning the white-house. A lofty cabinet position followed by the pinnacle office of barely legal thievery, the vice-presidency.
Now you have the largest pair of hands, by far, to rob the U.S. treasury. Absolutely obscene amounts of money to be gained by secret back-door deals with the biggest thieves of all, heads of the oil industry. At this point, the money means little to you. The thrill is in the massive amount of power wielded by a single thief.
Well hell man, why not go for it all while you're there? Start a massive war to keep your juvenile little-boy president busy having fun at war games. Keep telling him that he is the Mighty Decider as you go for the brass ring; awarding billions in no-bid defense contracts to you and your best friends. There is nothing like being the most hated man in the world for being the very best at what you do. You walk away clean as a baby's butt. Heil Dick Cheney!
Trenton is another city in a downward spiral soon to be like Camden N.J., a welfare dependant.
Right FlatIron...good thing there are no corrupt Republicans. For those who want some non biased info about some corrupt politicians check the following link.
http://www.crewsmostcorrupt.org/mostcorrupt
Headline should have read "Return of the Mack", to prison where he and his family, cronies. etc.. all belong. It's one thing to get your felonious friends jobs as dishwahers, or landscapers, but politically appointed positions should be held to higher standards and no felons need apply, especially for the mayor position.
Back in the old days, like the 40's, pretty much all politicians were dirty, they just were rarely caught doing it. These days many of them are greedy, trying to take to much. That's how they get caught. Practically every Illinois Governor went to prison for corruption. The last was Blagojevich , who is serving 15 years in the State Pen.
Isn't the real problem having too many government oversite committees looking for this type of thing? Smaller government and less regulation is desired by many.
Corzine tried that but was too dumb. Instead he stepped back out of politics and look were that got him. How about the FBI in jersey get the rest of the scumbag politicians before they do advance to a federal level. Just lock up all the mayors and do the country a favor.
Hey JB - That site doesn't exactly breakdown corrupt politicians (well, morally corrupt yes). There are scumbags out there, and then there are people like this.
I believe the point, the previous posters were trying to make, is that nowhere in the article does it mention his political affiliation (obviously shouldn't matter), but a Republican mayor would have had his affiliation mentioned at least once. Those people were just pointing out the lean of the article, and the media outlet who put it together.
The city of Trenton has always been low, especially along Calhoun. But Trenton covers a lot of territory and not all of it is in the downward spiral. Areas like Lawrenceville, Pennington, Ewing, Hamilton Twp, and Mercerville all have Trenton addresses and they are far from being low class.
tfnj,
bet if he was republican it would have been PLASTERED everywhere.
do i need to remind you of ABC looking and finding a guy with the same name as James Holmes on the colorado teaparty websight and accusing him of the shooting?
just cause he had the same name!!!
no fact checking, no making sure it was the guy, they just accused him cause he was a tea party member!!!
you know, the type of stuff FOX gets blamed for every day on these forums, Making stuff up, not fact checking.
Oh, but it's ok, OMG, because everyone knows that only Republicans would lie about anything. (major sarcarsm here)
NO BO IN 13
Most, if not all, democrat run cities are bankrupt. Most, if not all, democrat run states are bankrupt. Do ya see a patern here??
I am not surprise that this happened in NJ. What surprises me is that something was done about it. Clearly there was a breakdown in communication at the FBI offices. Someone must be punished.
tfnj....is your photo the NEW KKK hood for the NEW WORLD ORDER of KOOLaid drinkers???!!!
Why does it bother you that a read had to point out that he IS A DEM!!!
If he we're a Republican I guarantee it would be in the headline. "Republican mayor arrested for corruption." Since he's a democrat NBC gives him a pass. Don't want to compromise the election. Figures. New Jersey mayor arrested for cronyism, Chicago is swirling down the toilet. Lets model the whole nation after these people. 4 more for 44!
Since almost every intelligent person I know understands that politicians are crooks regardless of party affiliation, I truly wish we could dispense with the playground name calling, finger pointing, sticking tongues out at one another, and focus on the one plain truth:
Where do we go from here?
Looks like a slightly younger version of Idi Amin. I just didn't know Amin was a Democrat.
Finally some effen justice, but when the hell are we going to go after all the other politicians that set up a law that allows them to get free "Insider Trading Info" that is a crime for the rest of us. And when the hell are we going to go after all the corrupt religions and churches as well that sells an empty product to the masses and picks their pockets at the same time?
In the meantime, take this dirt bag to the awaiting cell and throw away the gd key.
That is so brazen it is stupid. Maybe he is practicing to move to Chicago. He is so bad at it though i don't think Rham would allow him in the city.
Well I see everyone is talking about all the negatives of this story. How about we look at the bright side. Did you notice how fast he got going on his corruption. A lot of us complain about politicians being slow and not getting to work.............just look at this guy he had a plan, he had cronies and he got going.
Spellchecker I'm sure your right about the FBI. Someone probably said they should stop the "refs in NJ" meaning the replacement referees at the Giants game and an agent thought they said stop the "thefts in NJ" and so he went after the mayor.
HEY PMSNBC!!!!
OOOOPS, I mean NBCNews.com, why isn' it mentioned that this wonderful Mayor is a Democrat?
You didn't seem to have a problem mentioning that Judge Jacqueline Hatch was a Republican appointed by Gov. Brewer the other day in an article that ran here.
Typical yellow journalism by the Liberal media.
Hypocrites.
ROMNEY/RYAN 2012 for real Americans
People are correct, politicians are largely corrupt and the vast majority get away with it. There is however never a reason to make the distinction between party affiliation when a politician is taken down for corruption, unless of course it is a Republican. At least that is the way the mainstream media reports the news.
If voters could ignore party affiliation and actually hold politicians to some level of moral and ethical standards like paying their taxes or not engaging in insider trading most in Washington would need to find another part time job with six figure incomes and lavish perks and benefits. People just don't go out to raise millions of dollars for a jobs that pay modestly high wages if it were not for the fact that peddling their power was so lucrative.
I'm sure he's innocent and everyone that doesn't agree is just racists right? That's how politics works now, if your views oppose that of an African American democrat that automatically makes you a racist.
From Haliburton to the gates of Iraq, through the rolling blackouts of California and the collapse of Enron. Some just know how to do it BIG.
The Donkey shows PATIENCE, then whacks your ASS!
corruption?
Can’t be, not a democrat!
Derek-381097
Do you support voter ID requirements. Perhaps the lack of verifiable identification explains how these type of politicians get elected.
Hey Rontron, you said:
"Trenton is another city in a downward spiral soon to be like Camden N.J., a welfare dependant".
Unlike our "Free Market, Capitalist" banking system right? Talk about a "welfare dependant"! Remember the bail outs? The banks are the largest recipients of social welfare in the history of the world. John and Jane Q taxpayer have bailed out the banks to the tune of tens of trillions of dollars and QE3 is right around the corner. Socialism for the rich and broken down capitalism for the middle class and poor!
How just like NBC to omit the tiny detail that Tony Mack is a Democrat. Also omitted in the article is that his close supporter, Giorgianni, who was also arrested, is a convicted sex offender. Giorgianni told the FBI informants that he wanted to "run things" like Boss Tweed. Read more here:
http://www.northjersey.com/news/state/Federal_agents_have_arrested_Trenton_Mayor_Tony_Mack_as_part_of_a_corruption_probe.html
And, to prove Mack is a Democrat, read here:
http://www.trentonnj.org/Cit-e-Access/webpage.cfm?TID=55&TPID=11533
Another shining example of democrat values and morals. I'm sure all the hardcore libs like Fiesty, Bev, et. al. must be soooooooo proud!!! ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111
All politicians lie, cheat and steal. The ones who excel at it the most end up on top of the dung heap as our country's leaders. I laugh every time I see that Obama campaign commercial that has Bill Clinton in it basically calling Romney a liar, because well, we all know Clinton is an expert in that field with his "I did not have sex with that woman!" and "I didn't realize oral sex was sex!" or to go back further with his "I never inhaled." listening to how he talks, I think he never exhaled... and stupid us, we are the ones who elect these liars and scammers into office so they can sponge off of our hard earned income!
Mack is not only a Democrat, but also one of the backers of Obama. So is the other people arrested, such as the largest financial contributor. Wonder how Obama is going to hide the money he got from Giorgianni?
Derek-381097
There's a reason dems fight tooth and nail to make it as easy as possible for
everyoneevery idiot to vote.On It - That is like saying if their were less traffic cops, speeding tickets would go down....just not speeding....And if their is less government oversight, we would catch them less, but by no means would coruption go away.
Government oversight and regulations are designed to protect the public. If business or government cannot operate in a fair and just manner, who cares if it hurts their profits. They shouldn't be allowed to remain in business anyway.
Wow..
Being a democrat has about as much to do with this guys lack of morals as the fact that he has curly hair or the fact that hes wearing a white shirt. The guys a scumbag criminal and they exist in all parties and affilliations. IF he were republican all the democrats would be saying the same thing the republicans are saying now.
Its the democrats fault, its the republicans fault, its the democrats fault, its the republicans fault, its the democrats fault, its the republicans fault!
I AM SO TIRED OF THIS. EVERYONE IS SO BUSY TRYING TO PLACE THE BLAME ON THE OTHER THAT NO ONE IS PUTTING ANY REAL EFFORT INTO FIXING THE PROBLEM. WHEN SOME ONE DOES COME UP WITH SOMETHING THAT MIGHT HELP, THERS NO WAY THE OTHER PARTY WILL VOTE FOR IT FOR FEAR THE OTHER PARTY WILL GET CREDIT FOR FIXING THE PROBLEM!
Its time to end party affiliation and make the individual count! each party fights blindly for their own agenda to the detriment of the country! Corruption exists in ALL parties and people. blaming a persons poitical affilliation will not fix the problem. The republicans say elect only repubs and this wont happen and the dems say the same thing. BS,BS,BS! I'm right and your wrong and there is no middle ground is how both parties feel so lets get rid of them ALL! There is no other way out of the mess this country is in.
Onlyyoucanchangethelaws, what a succinct, logical and intelligent observation and comment! The Republican Democrat blame game sheeple crowd do not have the intellectual capacity to understand what you have just articulated but it is refreshing to see some one who is able to rise above the noise and confused drones!
You are so right, it was once said that politicians are a necessary evil! BUT, evil can only exist if good men (and women) do nothing. I've always said that corruption is an equal opportunity endeavor....both sides of the isle can boast it's share. TERM LIMITS is a viable option, but since before any proposal is accepted congress has to support it and pass it, which I doubt it would EVER happen! The other is to, as a voting community, vote them out - that, my friend is an impossibility, too. There are too many people with too many diverse opinions to make it ever happen. Our politicians know how to keep us divided and at each others throats - look what the "libtards and the republi-cons are doing to each other thanks to the pandering and to the labels of racism (where none really exist - it's said as an inflammatory scare tactic and a call to arms), hate through class warfare - brought about by the words of self-serving politicians. Hate the rich because they stole their fortunes from us, hate the industries/businessman because they charge too much and make obscene profits, etc.....The flip side no one pays attention to is without industries/businessmen there would be NO JOBS. Is it surprising that businesses want to make profits - what are they in business for if not for that. Several people at the recent DNC in Charlotte, NC were interviewed and asked if they thought that businesses should be able to make a profit - and surprise, surprise they pretty much said no....can you believe it - where do these kinds of morons come from?? Take from the rich and give to the poor - making it fair for all - stupid, that kind of thinking destroys personal incentives for achievement. AND it also leads to....dare I say it, oh what the heck....Socialism! Good bye American, what are we becoming? You are right...where do we go from here?
I NEVER GOT A JOB FROM A POOR PERSON!
All the crying and whining is not going to get Romneyhood elected folks, why?, he is a poor liar while this guy was a good liar, it's a fact that both sides have their corrupt politicians, some are just better at lying. Now all the OBAMA haters have a place to put their 2 cents worth. Lets hear it.
This guy is Obama Jr.
NBC covering up for the Democrats again? The only clue to Mack's party affiliation is the glaring omission of it by NBC. No mention of political party affiliation by NBC in a story of corruption and malfeasance = Democrat! Over and over and over again.
The only difference in the way the article would have been written had Mr. Mack been a Republican is that the article would have reminded readers that the man had been a Republican at least three times. Funny how they forgot to mention the man was Democrat.
A bit similar to the fact that two of the three major television networks failed to even once mention the nation's unemployment rate during their reporting (ahem!) on the Democrats' convention last week. Funny how that happens !
The Obama Campaign is really running strong these days.
His supporters:
GE who Just hired 65K new employees - in India
The Mayor of Chicago - who is his campaign Manager
The Teachers Union of Chicago - who just went on strike
The Illegals - who are being bused around the country proclaiming their RIGHTS
Kids of Illegals - who will be granted work passes to take jobs that are scarce to start with from the umemployed LEGAL AMERICANS who need them.
OWS - who destroy any area they park themselves in, damaging public and private property costing the cities and residents millions in cleanup, disrupting daily buisness for regular employees,
And now the Mayor of Trenton arrested for Corruption.
You want a man who attracts this type of scum running our country? Not Me.
Romney/Ryan 2012 - America for AMERICANS
The majority gets what it elects. If he is corrupt, well, so is karsi, so there. Always deflect the blame.
The only way that this guy is different from most politicians, of any party, is that he was more blatant about it and didn't start out by appearing to be, on the surface, somewhat honest- he jumped in with both feet.
It took a lot of looking to find out that he was a Democrat since NBC somehow skipped mentioning that. The usual double standard, If a Republican shout it in the headline. If a Democrat don't mention it and hope no one notices another one bites the dust. I'm just shocked that under the Obama administration and Holder, a black Democrat actually got not only investigated but charged. Must be an election year.
Agreed spellchecker.
Why does it take the government so long to investigate and stop their compadres from continuing to break the law and steal from the public?
A bank robber who steals is either arrested or pursued immediately, while government officials are given more than enough time to clean up their tracks.
And for all those who continue to play the "blame the party" game, the politicians have you right where they want you. Polarized so to not blame the individual (themselves), while keeping your focus on the party (an entity).
Is this for real.....sounds like a Janet Evonivich / Stephanie Plum story
Nice one Gtouch, but let's get them to go after the refs too.
Is that Gary Coleman?
i personally hate you republicans and those dems both. but when a goverment orginaztion is on one polical side and its a problem. the FBI is clearly a rrepublican group, all politcans do this. why do they only go after dems? like brian terry, they tried to help him because of its right wing connection. either way, i dont care. but why does our tax money go to the FBI? that should be funded by republican donars. this is why our economy is so bad. wasting money. FBI, lawsuits, corporations, welfare, food stamps. then steal my tax money to pay it off. my money can go to law enforcement but not the FBI becuase they dont protect and serve. they are a poltical group to enforce thier own agenda. when are we going to do something about this?
RC. something will be done when Politicians start living up to the laws they write for the rest of us to obey. The FBI goes after those who think they are above those laws.
You want to see one-sided politics. Look at the white house, the congress, the senate. They all have their own agendas and ignore the rest.
@jHARN
ROTFLMAO!!! Most regulation is bought and paid for by special interest groups looking to protect themselves, usually from competition. In no way do many of these regulations "protect the public", if they did perhaps you can explain why we've gotten along so well without most of them for so long. It is a myth that big corporations abhor regulation; the truth is the exact opposite. They spend millions on lobbyists influencing how the regs are written and then millions more to lawyers to stay in compliance. Meanwhile the little guys get buried in red tape with no way to afford to keep up.
Yes we need rules and regulations, just not so many and none that are designed to benefit a minority. Example, in NJ they passed a reg making it illegal for anyone other than a dentist to apply an OTC tooth whitening product citing "safety concerns". Well if they're so unsafe why can a 8 year old still walk into a drug store and buy them? Turns out people were setting up kiosks in malls and offering the service for a fraction of what you'd pay the dentist so the dentist lobby in NJ bought and paid for a reg to prevent their profit margin from suffering the "ill-effects" of competition. Thousands upon thousand of regulations are written for similar reasons.
Democrats work to aquire your money by legal means.. not by stealing it the way this guy did. And just because the crap news media outlets target Republicans does not make it right to do so with stories like this either.
I could care less that he is a Dem or Rep .. he needs to go to prision for a long time.
Convicted felons are prohibited from voting. I do not think the law says anything about RUNNING for office however. If the people are stupid enough to vote a convicted felon into office they should have to live with the aftermath and the corruption of said convicted felon!
Not only is this mayor a CORRUPT politician, but so is the mainstream news media, which conveniently omitted the mayor's party affiliation. Sometimes information omitted from a story IS ANOTHER STORY, i.e we have a corrupt news media!
Cry me a river. You feel that your criminals are too often exposed with party affiliation and the other side's crooks are not. Mama Capone probably felt that little Al was likely imprisoned solely because of his political affiliation. Mama James probably felt the same about darling son Jesse. Mama Hale, when Nathan was hanged by the British? What the heck, even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Washington DC Ex-Mayor Marion Barry taught him everything he knows.
Yeldarb @1.29, I think you only captured half of his likeness.
He really seems to be a cross between Idi Amin and Flip Wilson.
BTW wasn't it actually Idi Amin dada whatever the hell dada means.
Typical NBC forgot to mention he was a Democrat. Now if it had been a Republican the headlines would have read "Republican Mayor arrested in Corruption scandal".
Right - because repub's never participate in this type of crime. ROFL!
How about we remain impartial and call for all cases of corruption to be brought to justice regardless of political party?
Not Dan's point Mike. Of course Republicans have been involved in corruption, it's just that the media usually points out the perps political affiliation if a it's a Republican.
Sure, let's remain impartial if it's a Democrat, but it's no holding back if it's a Republican.
Greed has no Party line.
Couldn't have said it better. But you know I just hate it that the dems have all these repubs in dems clothing. If you listen to the dem party only repubs due things like this mayor did so that means that in keeping with the dem party mantra the mayor is really a repub.
Mike-416 - No one is arguing that both parties have quite a few corrupt politicians. What he said was true. When it is a Republicans turn to get in trouble they are quick to point it out in the story.
And... Here we go. What took you so long "Dan T"? Hey, don't forget his skin color. PS, Barrack Obama is half of the same race, wink, wink.
Too bad he isn't the mayor of D.C. He could get re-elected after being filmed smoking crack with a prostitute, and then again after he gets out of prison.
Yeah, what took you so long, Barrack Insain O'Palin???? Funny how Dan never mentioned race, but YOU had to bring it up. YOU ARE THE RACIST. GET THAT? YOU ARE A RACIST.
Typical, some despondent Republican is angered that a corrupt American wasn't identified by the Party they represent. It's a political ploy by the left wing media eh????
The Republican should look at the Weapons of Mass Destruction that never existed in Iraq and talk about his Republican party and the crooks that ran our economy AND THE WORLD into the ground!!!
I'm a pretty solid liberal and I immediately noticed they didn't mention party affiliation and completely agree that if it were a Republican it would be in the headline. This is what you get from this site; you know it, I know it, everybody knows it. MSNBC sucks, FOX sucks, CNN sucks.
Koch/Soros 2012
BS
The fact that the article did not mention or headline that he was a Democrat is the MEDIA! Not the GOP or Dems fault. The media are so biased and blind it would be laughable if it were not so destructive. Media, NBC< CBS< MSNBC report false "news" and when caught never correct. Most, not all, "news"papers are the same. VERY little factual and unbiased reporting done.
Yes a whole storyline without mentioning that the Mayor is a Democrat, wow hard to believe. NBC, MSNBC and the New York Times are all divisions of the DNC and Team Barry. So wise up America and stop getting all your news from liberals and liberal rags. And no I am not racist just a realist.
I don't think there was any cover up that this guy is a Democrat. He is corrupt and now we know. Good job of reporting. Sorry if any Republicans are upset that there is no slant to it. There are corrupt politicians in any party....and not just Democrats and Republicans. Let's focus on getting rid of corruption.
Tony Mack is a proud graduate of the Marion Berry School of Political Science.
the very first thing which screamed out in this article was the blatant absense of the party of the mayor. of course he's a democrat..otherwise it would have been in the headline
Come on JB if this was a Republican that would have been in large bold type and the story above the fold, front page in the New York Times. Like I said wise up.
JTM 89*****, get your head out of your posterior. Bet this home boy is a Democrap, what say you?
Naturally you are missing the point. The issue isn't that there's corruption on both sides, the issue is that usually just the Republican wrong doing is reported.
there's no difference between democrats and republicans; not significantly anyway, and differences are largely rhetorical. so why would the media favor one party over the other?
I'm just really glad we don't have to go through a trial or anything, because we have already convicted him, I mean, after all,he was arrested, that makes him guilty, right?
Greed and lawlessness are not a function of a party, it's the function of a lack of morals which can be any party. Dan's point is correct ..... a headline of "Lawless mayor" would have been "Republican lawless mayor" if the guy would have been Republican. Happens all the time. You never see "Democratic" in a headline of political people doing stupid things. Another one is "Tea party", that has been used 6 times by a quick headline of the media that have proven to be false.
Reminds me of a recent cartoon that depicted a group of people in full swat gear standing in front of BO. On the shields the swat guys carried it said ABC, NBC and CBS.
I think most of you are missing the point. It's not that some Republicans haven't gotten in trouble for corruption, it is that the media shows an obvious bias by supporting Democrats and putting down Republicans. If the media was neutral, like it should be, then their wouldn't be an argument over the way it was reported.
And what mushroom field have you been living in?
Only in the Obama-world of being able to arrest without probable cause and hold you for an "indefinite" amount of time.
@Barrack Insain O'Palin
And... Here we do. What took you so long "BIO"? Congrats on being the first to throw out that tired old race card and showing everyone that you've got no legitimate complaint or comment.
I would just like to see the trial being held around the same time as the election. Won't happen of course, but it would make for good press.
I forget who started Gitmo? Or who created the patriot act?
Next stupid comment please...
@Mike-416, I forget who promised to close gitmo in his first year in office? The current administration must agree with the patriot act, where is the outrage from obama?
Frank,,,that's different. He's a Democrcrat
All of this bitjun about media bias in favor of Democrats. This may have been true many decades ago in a much more responsible media. I believe they tried to be impartial and fair. 80% of the nation believed Nixon was a crook in the early 70's. They reported that with grim faces. Nixon shouted, "I am not a crook". They reported that without breaking up into fits of laughter. What more could you ask of them?
Paranoia now has many using microscopic glasses to discover the slightest liberal bias. Under those conditions, you will undoubtedly find just a few examples to make you proud. In the interest of true clarity, you must first take off the glasses. Now back up slowly, trusting your own natural eyesight, until a clear and complete picture emerges. See that much larger than life image of Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes?
These two men spent great fortunes to buy up huge portions of the nation's and even the world's media. They transformed all of that media into unapologetic partisan and totally biased conglomerates while calling it "Fair and Balanced". I still don't get the joke.
Perhaps it is similar to the Devil offering to make a deal and hundreds of fools fight over first place in line at the table. I strongly suspect it is more like many Bible toting and flag-draped so-called conservative "Patriots" racing to worship at the alter of an Australian foreign agent while never questioning his true agenda.
Murdoch knows that continuing to dish out millions of those succulent partisan and divisive cookies will addict his foolish followers to the point that they will literally follow him anywhere. His true agenda worries me as well as the blind loyalty of his many lemmings that march in step while still clutching their Bibles and flags as if they still hold any real meaning to them.
Good ole New Jersey - same old story. Seems like blacks think it is the only way to get ahead. Just do a good job and you will get ahead ! I was a sales rep to attorneys - they are all scrambling for the same piece of pie - all 750,000 of them! And people learned that they can sue for anything - and do - to make a living. Shame on you!Why can't people just earn a living honestly? (If there were jobs, President Obama)
Because our socialist system makes that hard to do.
I make a living for my family by doing honest work. No socialism stopping me.
How about skipping the stereotypes? At least in NJ, corruption is equal opportunity. At one time, Jersey City has an unbroken string of (white) mayors who went to jail for corruption. I don't know for sure, since I didn't see pictures of them, but many of the people arrested in huge sting in South NJ a year or so ago were probably white, too.
100% agreed Barry. It seems people from other places can't wait to get an uninformed dig at race at any opportunity.
Once again, another idiot Republican attempting to put the lack of jobs on President Obama!!
G.W. Bush (Republican) IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL THE LOST JOBS DURING G.W. BUSH'S TERM!
Obama was never President when all the jobs were lost and the whole world economy failed!!
It was all G.W. Bush, the Republican!!! YOU CAN THANK OBAMA FOR BRINGING OUR ECONOMY BACK!
The Dow Jones (stock market) has gone from 7,500 (GW Bush) to now over 13,000 (Obama!)..
I'd say Obama and the Democrats are demonstrating how to kick some Republican greedy butt!!
Is there ANYTHING, pray tell, that Bush WASN'T reponsible for. I would really like to hear it. He was one impressive individual to take credit for everything he gets blamed for. Hell, I even hear its his fault that Obama lies.
What does George Bush have to do with a corrupt NJ mayor? This article is about a corrupt politician in NJ who hired his own corrupt family and friends into positions in government in his tiny little corrupt town. From this you go to Dubbya losing jobs and Obama causing the stock market to increase. Really?
A President is not responsible for the performance of our stock market or the world economy. Your ignorance of this fact is amazing. You are so in love with Obama that it really doesn't matter what his policies do, you believe he is the Messiah.
But, since you say our economy is back because of Obama, what facts do you have to support this notion? Would it be the 95,000 jobs created last month? This number, of course does not keep pace with population growth so it's actually a negative number. Would it be the 300,000 people who dropped out of the workforce last month because they can't find a job? Would it be the 1.7% growth per year in our economy since he took office which, of course, also won't produce enough jobs to keep pace with population growth. Would it be the 23,000,000 jobs lost since Obama took office (I know, this is Dubbya's fault)? Would it be the 100,000+ new regulations and rules put in place by Obama to protect the environmen and restrict business?
Please, enlighten me.
Or David, could it be that Obama did not know what he was doing when he got elected on Hope and Change? Obama has failed our country miserably..but...I honestly think he had not researched the financial status and just thought he could become president, surround himself with radical scholars, and all would go well. He honestly did not know what he was doing. His big mistake was not appointing financial/business background folks to advise him. Had he done this he might have understood the situatiion.
CoCo, your posting shows your supreme ignorance! You should try reading and becoming more informed about the financial disaster left by the Bush administration. Could it be that your dislike of the President is based on sheer bias and racism? For your information, President Obama was given some of the information regarding unemployment and the finacial collapse. It wasn't until he was in office and was given the full information about the financial situation, that he found that the collapse was worse than he thought, the jobless rate was the highest since the Depression and the housing market was a disaster.
This President has a much higher intelligence quotient that you could ever dream of. He saved us from an impending depression. I won't even ask how an article about a corrupt mayor leads to a discussion about the President. It is really a stretch of moronic intellect to link the two.
Remember Reagan hired financial/business people and started a downturn in our economy. He was for deregulation. When deregulation was complete in 2003, things really started to go up --it's Creek. Obama inherited a mess that began back in 1987. I have to give him a lot of credit. He turned out to be the best President this country has had since Ike. JFK was great too, but unfortunately did not live out his first term. Reagan solved the Savings and loan situation buy printing more money and bailing out the industry. Bush did the same thing, he bailed out the banks. Obama gave a stimulus package, but made sure it gets paid back. More jobs have been created under Obama due to his tax breaks to small businesses. We are still waiting for the top 1% to create jobs even though they have had tax breaks since Bush 43. The GOP call them the job creators and we continue to wait for them to create jobs. Obama 2012!!!!!!!
You forget that the democratic party controlled both the Senate and the House in 2007& 2008 Which is the last 2 years of the Bush administration, So they share the same responsibility as Bush does and FYI that includes Senator Obama as he was a US Senator during that time period
Prove it...I keep hearing this but there is no proof, You can not prove that there was an impending recession and you can not prove that anything Obama has done has contributed to any improvement in the economy, What we can prove is that many of Obamas policies have directly led to the loss of jobs here in the US
Velma, you didn't pay attention to anything that David Cox pointed out did you? Or that the Democrats took control of the Congress in 2006. Don't get me wrong I am not Bush defender or Republican defender for that matter however you seem to be the exact opposite, a complete Democrat defender and Obama defender.
Obama knew the severity of the problem, hence why he was able to appropriate the other half of the TARP money. Also this is why he insisited that we spend a trillion dollars in "stimulus" to turn it around...of course that didn't happen. The housing market is still in a mess, we are continuing to hemmoraghe jobs while not having an economy that is providing expansion of new jobs, more income disparity due to price inflation because the goernment and Federal Reserve continue to devalue our currency through monetary expansion, more reduction of civil liberties, and continued war mongering and the expansion of those practices.
Also the policies that he is using right now are the same as FDR, you remember when unemployment settles at around 15% and then shoot right back up because of the policies that the government and FDR set in place.
Please realize that this guy is the same as the last and if Romney is somehow elected he will be the same as Obama and Bush before him.
Velma, as you accuse people of being ignorant of the facts of our current downturn........ explain to us what Bush policies caused the real estate collapse and the credit freeze. Specifics please.
Inform people instead of insinuating they are racists.
@ Huskergal, there has not been any DEregulation only the rewriting of regulations and that isn't only to do with Republicans but Democrats also (Clintoncomes to mind quickly). It is because of our big government lying in bed with big corporations and allowing them a revolving door to come in and write regulations and then go back to their company. This is because we do not practice actual Capitalism or Free Markets in this country, instead we have this mercantilist/corporatist economy with a market manipulated by the government that benefits them and their cronies. Also, although I am not a fan of Reagan he actually didn't start a downturn in the economy, if you remember that is why he was elected because of the flat broke economy under Carter. Now he certainly did add to the national debt and expand government which I am not a fan of.
As far as your jobs theory I would have to say that the economy, U6 Unemployment numbers, and GDP say a completely opposite story than yours.
Obama is just as bad as Bush, and Romney will be just as bad as them.
Gary Johnson 2012
Hey Barry, who's stereotyping now?
Sort of reminds me of another Barry.
Trenton's black population is 52% which means most ALL, (95+%), of all blacks voted for him simply because he was black, regardless how crooked he was, they would have voted for him anyway. Just like Obama getting 95+%" of the black vote simply because he's black. Any good candidate for the office who was more qualified and white didn't have a chance in Trenton's election for mayor. If there were two real dogs running, animal dogs, a white one who could speak and write his name and even read running against a black dog with three legs, had mange, was stupid and wasn't even housebroken, the black one would have been elected in Trenton.
Everyone hates to hear it's GWB's fault. I just thought of a new one. It's GWB's fault that Obama got elected.
LMAO at that one. We can keep looking for faults all day long, but it won't make things better.
Bonehead1, explain to me the reason why there has never been a black president until Obama. Also explain why there has never been a women, asian, hispanic, muslim, hell let's just say... Why has 99.9% of presidents in the US been all White anglo saxon protestant males? Is it because no other type of person has ever been best qualified? Its always the same lame cry with bigots. Whenever a none white male gets a job, there is always a more qualified white male who got screwed.
Kennedy was Catholic, so that brings it down a bit from 99.9% Generally, presidential candidates need to have a political background in the House, Senate or as a Governor to get name recognition on a national level. There have been a few women and hispanic Governors, so why don't you pose the question to them and ask why they didn't run? Why isn't Nancy Pelosi running? What about Hillary? Oh wait, she did...In order for me to soothe your angst and do pennance for my ancestors 200 plus years of presidential discrimination, I need to have one of these people on the ballot. Are you suggesting, perhaps, a law mandating that one of the candidates has to be a non-WASP male? It's not my job; it's your job to get them onto a ballot.
huskergal Comment collapsed by the community
LOL! History will paint a VERY different picture of this President. Whether or not he ranks above or behind GWB 30 years from now will depend upon whether he is judged by 4 years of failure or 8.
Let's make an example of this guy and put him away for a long time. The taxpayers of NJ are strapped, when we hear about these stories, it makes us sick!
We tried recalling him and it failed because certain people only wanted him as Mayor because of his skin color.
Uhmmmmm... I know another wasn't the target of a recall, but it is the only reason he's in office.
Many voted for him the first time to prove they weren't racist.
I hope they DON'T vote for him this time to prove they're not stupid.
I am not from NJ, and know nothing of this guys political career, but from reading the posts if you want to name the race game the folks probably went for a black guy because of all the white crooks that preceded him? Don't you folks in NJ vet your politicians before hiring them. Look at his cronies, just like we should have done in the white house; birds of feather flock together.
Why is the word Democrat not included anywhere in this story?
maybe because it's 100,000 to 1 it's a Republican.
Ji (G) - Are you trying to blame the Republicans for corrupt Democrats now?
Nice try. The governor and lieutenant governor are Republicans. State senate is majority Democrat (24D, 16R). State assembly is majority Democrat (48D, 32R). Both U.S. senators are Democrats. Seven of thirteen U.S. representatives are Democrat. And New Jersey electoral votes have gone to Democrats since 1992. But don't let facts stand in the way of your beliefs.
New Jersey is totally corrupt now. State corruption starts at the top. That would be, the Republican Governor...
It's always some corrupt Republican at the top that is responsible for every problem!
it's part of the censorship, misinformation, miseducation scheme an illusion which breeds delusion.
In the words of all liberals...Christie "inherited" this from Corzine. It's going to take him a little while to turn things around.
I didn't think it was possible but it looks like NJ has the top spot over IL when it comes to corruption in high places.
Believe it or not, per capita, North Dakota ranks as the most corrupt state. North Dakota!!
did you forget Chicago?.....................................:)
D.C. trumps all.
No - Barry Obama's state of Illinois IS and HAS BEEN the most CORRUPT. Isn't it great to know our arrogant, self-appointed little kenyan king is from Illinois?
Ahh, New Jersey. Remind me never to move. It's so wonderful.
Makes me wonder just who this Joseph "JoJo" Giorgianni is, and how he plays into this arrest.
New Jersey, Giorgianni, corruption...not too hard to figure out.
NJ is actually a beautiful state, Unfortunately most people equate NJ with crime and corruption with the cities which for the most part are in the Northern part of the state although Trenton and Camden are technically in the middle of the state, We have vast open areas, Beautiful forrests, Wonderful Beaches, Mountains, Hiking, Fishing,Hunting, I have been to many states and quite a few countries, I keep coming back to NJ.
----LITPB----Must not have been up north at all, in the stinky section, and mafia burial grounds-----never mind the worst poluted waters/lakes in the entire country!
But NJ is fine down South and real coast!
Bundgaard...Yes I have been pretty mush all over my state and the northeast counties of the state that border NYC are quite congested, have a fair share of crime and are not exactly tourist attractions,As are much of the cities in this country and pretty much throughout the world, However for the most part NJ is a great state to live in. Quite a few years ago there was an attempt to seperate the state into 2 different states North jersey and South Jersey, I really wish that had succeeded,
I remember when my son first got out of Basic training in the Army. My ex husband called and told me, he's being stationed in the armpit of the world. My first response was "Jersey?"
The truly scary part is the people that put him into office are the same people that will try to keep Obama in office.
The same ones that put Marion Barry in office in DC.
The same people that put Rahm Emanuel in office in Chicago.
The same people..... ah hell, you get the idea!!
And... Here we go. What took you so long "XDm9mm"? Hey, those pesky black people are too stupid to vote the way you think they should, right XDm9mm? We should do something about that, right? Maybe a poll tax, or some type of picture ID before they can vote. What do you think?
No poll tax.
Picture ID... you better believe it.
But please show me EXACTLY where I mentioned race. I DIDN'T .... YOU DID.
xdm
You forgot one. They are the same ones who put christie and guadagno in office.
XDm9mm
Spot On! In some states with lax voter ID laws, they have a motto "vote early and vote often".
xdm
You didn't, you just agreed to a race comment. see 5.1 above
Well XDm9mm, I got the idea. Notice all the elected mayors you pointed out and the predominatly black cities they are in. Yeah, I got your idea, loud and clear. Or what was it I missed?
I am black and don't find it offensive at all think it's kind of sad that people of my gender do things so stupid and reckless when given the opportunity to do something so good. I guess it's why the stereo types of a race continue to this day. No one ever looks at anything but color. Black, yellow, red or whatever you get the picture. We all need to remember that most governments are corrupt and that absolute power corrupts absolutely. That a majority not all but a majority of politicians, democrat or republicans are corrupt. Their human and are easily persuaded by the temptations of man. Money, lust and greed.
XDm9mm should know that no one is as stupid as stupid as he is. You mention several people who happen to be Democrats and say that the same people put the Mayor, the President and other Democrats in office. One does not have to be a genius to know what the sub text of your posting is.
I just wish you were a more intelligent racist and not just the same run of the mill moron.
Problem is XD most people don't get it just like Velma. She wants to call you a racist but she clearly shows she is the racist by supporting all the crooks just because they are black.
bullet
Your white sheet is showing
Sgt. Pain. Semper Fi. Thank you for your service to our country. I agree with you. I find it sad that people will vote for or against someone based solely on their race/nationality.
I have many friends of color who are disgusted with the so called leadership in this country right now and were equally disgusted with the Liberal media in 2008 who proclaimed that if you didn't vote for Obama then you MUST be a racist.
Hillary was running then, and I didn't like her politics either. And her compaigners were of the idea that if you didn't vote for her you were against women.
I won't vote for someone just based on their race/gender/party, but for the person I believe has the leadership qualities to raise our country up to what it was.
I'd like to see an Independent who could have the backing that the two major parties have. Who can combine the best parts of both in ONE. That's not going to happen this time around unfortunately, but I know I can't afford 4more years of CHANGE.
Romney/Ryan 2012 - America for AMERICANS
flnobody...Thanks for reminding us that it was Republicans who had to push through the Civil Rights Act. Dems. fought it. And it was Dems. who wore the white sheets.
Aggie, they seem to forget that part, and will tell you that the Democrats and Republican did a Flip after the civil War. They will tell you that they Applaud Lincoln (Republican) without considering the fact that Lincoln wanted the freed slaves shipped to Africa after the war was over. He didn't believe that blacks and whites could live peacefully in one country.
Is that how Democrats REALLY feel?
And so it goes. Becoming an elected official is not about service to others, but to yourself and your moneyed supporters and friends. As this individual viewed it (and so many others regardless of political party), the position was this gigantic cash teat for him to exploit.
Thankfully he was caught. Now convict him, convict his associates, publicize the process heavily, and then sentence as harshly as possible. Put some mental deterrent in place for the next elected official to realize that tax revenue is a sacred trust to be used to the greatest benefit for the public. And only to that end.
I used to work and know people who currently work for the city of Trenton and this has been a long time coming. It saddens me that such blatant curruption took so long to stop, makes me have little hope for stopping all the other "not quite as stupid" currupt politicians that seem to litter our state.
they have to put in jail almost every mayor in south florida, start with 33154 zip......
At least it's something the (R)s and (D)s both do down here, in a uniquely bipartisan fashion.
(posting now from 33145)
This is from local news on this Jojo:
"FBI agents who raided Joseph “JoJo” Giorgianni’s home last week as part of the investigation of Mayor Tony Mack’s administration were seeking evidence of potential drug distribution, loansharking and kickbacks, according to a copy of the search warrant."
Hmm, mob ties?
If found guilty and sent to prison guess who is going to pardon them with an Executive order?
TFNJ (#13) -- Remember, too, that Jojo Giorgianni is also a convicted sex offender and Boss Tweed wannabe. NBC has a tendency to "forget" little details.
http://www.northjersey.com/news/state/Federal_agents_have_arrested_Trenton_Mayor_Tony_Mack_as_part_of_a_corruption_probe.html
Mack certainly surrounded himself with "clean" people. /sarc
NJ Person, yeah I read that on NJ.com after I wrote this. This guy is a disaster, running for mayor while associating with a convicted child molester. I'm not sure if I should be horrified or laughing.
Wow, a black administration that is as corrupt as any other race. Who would have thought. Not good old Jessie and Al. and the liberals.
Ya, and voting because you want to be not raciest is what happened in the last president election.
The only reason Obama won was the same reason this guy won. He was black.
Didn't have one thing to run on that he really did as a political figure for Ill. Had not one day military background, not one day world policy, not even one day of vital voting policies for the entire U.S.
Which is why the Dems ran him. What can you say about a guy who is as lame as a dishrag. Big Change, YA Right. Fool me once shame on you, Fool me twice shame on me. Good rule of thumb.
This should give every one pause. Voting because of race instead of who is really qualified to run is a big mistake anyway you look at it.
OK, Steven100, tell us what the reason was for the vast majority of past presidents being WHITE ANGLO SAXON PROTESTANT MALES? You guys and you fake reverse racism.
I guess your gonna vote for Romney to prove that you don't hate Mormans.
I don't suppose that it could be that Obama won because the GOP ran a ticket, specifically Palin, that terrified moderate and independent voters?
I have to agree that Obama got elected because he is black but I feel he is going to get unelected because we found out he is worthless as a president.
Obama got elected because he was the best candidate, by far. McCain was credible and might have had a chance until the day he picked that dumb floozy from Alaska to be his running mate (what WAS he thinking?).
In any event, this white American supported Obama then and will support him again because he is representative of the best and brightest, understands the concerns of the common man, and will work to make their lives better. Mitt Romney? He needs to release his tax returns to show he isn't hiding anything, and has all the earmarks of someone who would be president of the few. This shuckster must not become president, but Obama will beat him regardless simply because he has earned a second term for a job well done under very difficult circumstances not of his doing.
As for the Trenton mayor, I could see this coming since his election. The man is a disaster.
You truely are blind Jersey Devil: Watch "2016, Obama's America" enlighten yourself who Obama is.
INSANE, THAT'S A NEGATIVE. the only ones who vote to prove they are not this or that are all of you who are brainwashed into having some sort of guilt trip.
The words racism, hate , bigotry, intolerance are all played out. no one gives a F*** anymore, it means NOTHING to label anyone with that. in your little circle there will be a paparazzi like gossip circle jerk, but thinking people just ignore it, no one cares. Those words have simply become tools to intimidate the masses into following the path you are on.
Let's see how sensitive and respectful and appreciative of other cultures and sexual preferences after the food supply runs out.
you'll be out there running over whomever is necessary to feed yourself. The thin veneer of your high falutin' elitist snob civilization will be stripped away and we'll see how refined you are then.
You're a joke. aaaaaahahahahahahahaahahahahahahaaaa : P
Get real
Is a corporation a citizen of the United States of America?
Should Politicians, State and Federal list the donors and donations they receive.
Should Banks and investment.credit card firms be regulated ?
Should children, mothers, fathers, old and young be allowed to receive medical care after their cancer (life treating disease) treatments have used up their life amount of their insurance policy?
Should women have the right to decide what treatments they want for their body, or equal pay for their work, how many children she and her husband want?
Should men be forced to have a vasectomy if they fathered a child with an unmarried woman?
Should a person elected and sworn the oath of office,( federal or state) disregard that oath of office and sign a pledge(contract)with a lobbyist firm. to use their elected office to pass bills that further the monetary instrest and religious belief of the lobby firm, only one religion will be allowed in America?
Should American citizens who vote. use the web at home or the local library to obtain information on those person that are asking you to elect them to a federal or state office? YOU are responsible for the people you elect to office!
www. on the issues.com / www. follow the money.org./ thomas library.gov/ project vote smart.com/ just to list a very few, very important information for the person whose vote is responsible for the people that will be working for you! You know this is a government FOR THE PEOPLE BY THE PEOPLE not the politicians who allow corporation to become dictators of the people.
This is a quote from Jojo when asked if he was paying Mack bribe money:
“If he ain’t taking it from me, he ain’t taking it from nobody,” Giorgianni said. “And I’ll write that in blood.”
LOL
Not to worry. Trenton Mayor Tony Mack. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson will say its racist and discrimination .
I just got a call about Mayor Macks's brother Ralphiel, "a Trenton High School football coach". He just left to turn himself in. I thought they arrested him along with the others earlier.
Maybe they should put the entire city on the city payroll and that would please the mayor. It would not be called graft or nepotism.
I hope this guy puts some beats down while he's in jail. like T.I. and Lil' Wayne. That way he comes out with more cred and the dems can run him for senate or something.
Corruption in the Government? Say it ain't so...
Give him a cell next to Blago.
I hope he will still be allowed to vote, not that President Obama needs it in NJ.
The same state with the large REPUBLICAN Governor? That state?
"TFNJ
Yeah, the REPUBLICAN Governor who is trying to clean up the mess left by the past corrupt administration and is blocked at every turn by the opposing party. Aren't you the guys who claim the mess can't possibly be cleaned up in four years?
Who cares jrsygirl, I wasn't talking to you, and your post changes the subject on what my point was. If you have nothing to say regarding THIS point, get lost.
Yeah, the same governor that did away with broad-based property tax rebates in order to pass a tax cut that benefits the 1%, while giving the middle class peanuts.
TFNJ
Must be a resident troll with a new picture - has you looking closer to the images found under the bridge - trolls!
jack, you are welcome to translate whatever the hell you just said to English, then maybe I can reply.
I get the feeling you are a Troll with the types of comments you make.
"types of comments" is defined as anything you don't agree with?
Perhaps you should learn what terms mean before you throw them about. I can be venomous, but trolling is not the same thing. And you don't have to like it.
What's the big deal? He's just another paid politician trying to survive in this cruel world while slopping himself in the Public Trough. Don't all politicians get greedy. Aren't all politicians sel-centered. Aren't all politicians above the law? He'll probably get a slap on the wrist and pushed UP the political ladder.
if obozo had a brother he would look like mack.
@ Big max, your post implies Obama is corrupt. But, can you cite a single example of corruption by the President?
Solyndra, Fast and Furious, two names (Barry Soetoro). Is that enough for you? Or should we talk about his house deal with Tony Rezco?
mmmm, no answer yet Mr. Steady. Imagine anyone actually believing that only the side they have been programed to despise is capable of corruption.....
: P
That's really funny........ ha haha hahaha hahahahahah ahahahahahahaahahahahaahhhHAhhhaahahahahahahahhaahahahahahaahahaha
Can't wait for the response, this is gonna be Great!!! : P
just checked bac to see the pseudo-liberal response, ..... guess it's gonna take a while....
uhhhh ..... Hello0o0o0oo.....?
Anybody out there in pseudo-liberal land....?
We're still awaiting your response..... This isn't china, where one may heehee, "save face..." : p by simply ignoring the inconvenient, rendering it into the realm of non-existence.
Now, if you wish to stake a serious claim to the intellectual high ground, you'd be well advised to answer the questions of those whom you deem to be inferior to yourselves.
Otherwise, your theory of relative intelligence as applied to political persuasion simply doesn't hold water.
hello..? anyone there..?
trenton makes me laugh...first of all, i'm assuming this guy was elected "fair and square" via valid vote. that said this is more of a negative reflection on the dopes that voted for him as everything i read seems to indicate that this mack person and his lackies have been known for shady dealings for a loooooooong time. ultimately there is a lot more that could be said about the folks that voted for him, but suffice it to say he was voted in "by his own". if you take a ride through trenton you'll see that there are thousands of examples of flawed decision making wandering the streets. for the people in trenton that voted for macks opponent, you were obviously outnumbered by the stupid people that seemed to drink the kool aid that mack was going to "make it rain" for all the crackheads, losers and miscellaneous riff raff that still have voting privileges, as that was pretty much his demographic. at least someone finally came in and took out the trash because it's been stinking for a while....
Hey Woop, I'll sign in on your post. You can't find any corruption on Obama in political office. He did take scholarships he wasn't qualified for by posing as a foreign student, but I believe he is an honest man, a good man, kind of guy I would have a beer withhis vision for America is all wrong. It's almost as if he wants to turn the U.S. into Obamaland. Therefore as a President he is a failure and must be replaced. I don't think Romney is the great white savior but maybe he can stablize this country until a real statesman comes along, red, white, blue, black, or green. Someone that can unify the congress and get things done.
indeed, ............. a statesman, instead of salesman
This is New Jersey - as long as you have a (D)- in front of your name on the ballot in most places you will be elected regardless of what your past is. Democrats have maintained a control of our state legislation for over 60 years and continue to run the state into the ground. Of course we have a (R) Governnor that is trying to change things and he seems to the problem in the eyes of our lib papers. Go figure. Maybe we should make sure that we don't have voters show ID so we can keep these D's in power till NJ is completely broke.
