Amanda Jean Linscott was arrested September 11, 2012 on an armed robbery charge.
A Florida woman who allegedly pulled a gun on a man during sex and demanded money, causing him to lose control of his moving car, was arrested Tuesday, police said.
The woman, Amanda Jean Linscott, 26, fled the scene on foot after the vehicle struck a palm tree, went airborne and plowed through two front yards, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office in Port Charlotte, Fla.
After a weeklong investigation, Linscott was arrested Tuesday on an armed robbery charge.
The incident, which happened during the early morning hours of September 3, was the result of a chain of events that started at the Paddy Wagon Irish Pub in Port Charlotte, according to a police report.

Linscott, accompanied by a friend, met with the unnamed victim and two of his friends at the bar. After it closed, the men invited the women to come to a private residence, where the man and another woman went into a bedroom to have sex, police said.
“The girl said she needed $250, which [the victim] said he didn’t have. She asked how much he had and he gave her $120,” the police report said.
Then, the man went to the bathroom and both women left the house.
Police said the man called the woman to whom he gave the money and arranged to meet her at a local convenience store. When he arrived at the location, he instead found Linscott, who said her friend had left her.
Linscott then got into the man’s car and began having sex with him while he was driving his Nissan Sentra.
Linscott allegedly demanded money from the man, who told her he had already given $120 to her friend. At that point, she pulled out a .357 revolver and held it to the man’s head, police said.

The man grabbed the weapon and punched Linscott in the face, he told police, causing him to lose control of his car. The vehicle struck a palm tree and went through two yards before coming to a stop.
At that point, Linscott fled the scene.
The man drove his car to his friends' house, where he gave them the gun and called police.
When police responded to the scene, they found an elderly man in a driveway who told them his daughter, Amanda Linscott, was in a car accident and had been punched in the face, police said.
Police questioned all parties involved and later arrested Linscott. She is currently being held at the Charlotte County Jail without bond.

What sleazy lives some people live. The whole thing is disgusting!
Wait till they tell us it was his half sister. This isn't sleazy enough. And what if she was wearing a Hoodie and the guy shot her. Seriously, if the guy shot her when a gun was put to his head, would they consider it self defense? I say yes, but someone looking to make money(and its always about money!!!) some relative would come out of the woodwork and take this poor guy to court and he'd be mortgaging his house for legal fees. Sad world.
Sleazy lives? Sounds, looks, and smells like Hollywood to me.
Next we will hear a porn flick is in the works. Well at least the driver can multi-task to have kept his eyes on the road and his feet on the gas/breaks until she pulled out the gun. Police need to start embarrassing these men by printing their names in the paper along with the media of the men involved in these activities. This guy is cheap not to have offered a motel and is probably married. A real nice guy with his contribution to the community, right??? Wow, look out who you bring home to meet your mother. First off, to the prude women here who thinks its partly the mans fault-regardless. Well, I have had it done to me(without the gun to my head) and it was one of the best moments of my life and if you must know I asked that woman to marry me a week later. Not for that, obviously. But here is what I want to know-This story is one of the least publicized and will be gone by tomorrow. Why? 2 white people. Aint interesting enough. Thats fine. So, I ask all of you this:
if the woman was black and the guy was white, would Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and God knows how many white liberals we need to deport from this country, make this front page news saying that the white guy endangered her life!!!!!! Then some slick lawyer would say that it was really the guys gun and the girl was raped or forced to perform oral sex. But she is white so the true story stands. Now, what if the black girl had a Hoodie on, so the white guy couldn't see she was black. Then this would be a Supreme court case worthy of Rosa Parks 1955 incident. Isnt it amazing how when you throw race into it, the people against the white person makes it like its a nuclear war!!!!! Im being silly but dead serious at the same time. Anyone see where Im going with this?

You do know she get's life in prison for this crime? Florida is full of Northern voters.
this guy needs to count his blessings!!!!! the girl could have just said he raped her the accident happened because she was fighting him off. men need to start thinking with the head that has a brain. i think the whores, prostitutes what ever you want to call them need to be put on sex offender registers rather than be viewed as victims they are predators and should be treated as such.

if texting and driving is illegal, then sexing and driving and punching and driving should also be illegal. If he paid her $120 for sex, that would also be prostitution which is also illegal. But before her picture was taken, she should asked if she could turn her head so that only the "good " eye would be visable

OK - So this is Florida. Was there something unusual that the story wanted to tell us? Nothing particularly weird here for Florida - drugs, sex, cash, guns! Just another good time out for all involved.
Really, Florida, again, why is it 85% of the time there is news of incredibly stupid criminals, it's news out of Florida? I think there needs to be a Federal investigation into the source of stupidity in Floridians. Starting with swamp gas. It seems the closer to the swamps the dumber they get. I'm dead serious, it's time something is done,no one state could have this many whack jobs just by chance.
What'd the guy expect from some (likely drug addict) that he'd just paid for sex? He's lucky to have gotten out of that alive. Plus, I agree he needs to be arrested too for soliciting a prostitute, public indecency and for reckless driving.
It's stories like this that make you wonder......
