Suspect David Weber.
A homeless man broke into a car in Miami Beach, stole a credit card belonging to a bartender and tried to use it to buy a beer from the victim, police said.
Miami Beach Police said David Weber, 53, walked into the Clevelander Bar on Ocean Drive in South Beach on Monday and handed Bradley Fuller a credit card, which Fuller determined was his own. He asked Weber what his name was and he said "Bradley Fuller," according to the offense incident report.

At the time, Fuller didn't know that his car had been burglarized in a nearby parking lot, authorities said.
Weber told authorities that he had "found the credit card on 11th Street and Ocean Drive in the street," the arrest affidavit said.

One of the reasons that crime doesn't pay is so many criminals are idiots not suited to their chosen "profession". What a marroon, as Daffy Duck would say...
Sorry, it was Bugs Bunny.
"Now, I don't care who you are,.....THAT'S FUNNY RIGHT THERE"!!!! LCG.......
Idiot of the day. I can't stop laughing
How funny. There is always a bright side to everything. He is no longer homeless. lol
Who cares! Did he ever get his beer? Enquiring minds want to know!
Dang and I thought I had a bad day.
It would appear this homeless person was fortunate in one way, the bartender ... aka ... credit card owner clearly did not pounce upon his face.
Another stupid crook. I remember years ago here when a wanna be bank robber attempted to rob a Wells Fargo Bank. Well, he handed the clerk his "note" said he had a gun, then said he wanted to cash a check and placed is drivers license on the counter. The clerk gave him the undisclosed amount of money and he left. Well, the idiot left is DL on the counter. Of course the Police were notified and we knew just where to find him. Not too hard when we have the address. LOL At that time I was a dispatcher for the Police. Guess as they say, "Stupid is as Stupid does". LOL
