Subscribe to RSSSuspects in a Los Angeles area bank robbery appear to throw money from their car while being pursued by police Wednesday.
LOS ANGELES - Bystanders stepped into the line of fire at the end of a high-speed pursuit as police tried to apprehend suspected bank robbers who appeared to toss money out of their getaway vehicle.
The chase, which started in the Santa Clarita area north of Los Angeles, ended around 11:20 a.m. PT Wednesday in South Los Angeles.
A mob of people gathered around the black Volvo SUV after it was forced to stop because of traffic.
Officers exited their squad cars to confront the alleged robbers and were able to take them into custody.
The chase was covered live by L.A. television stations. Dozens of people gathered at the crime scene.

The pursuit began in Canyon Country following a robbery at a Bank of America.
Around 10:50 a.m., the driver exited the southbound 110 Freeway and started heading west on Third Street away from downtown. Around 11 a.m., the suspects were zigzagging through the streets just west of downtown.
By 11:20 a.m., the vehicle was traveling through South LA.
More than a dozen times during the pursuit, what appeared to be handfuls of cash were thrown out of the backseat car window.
Onlookers were waving to the suspected bank robbers, apparently signaling for them to throw more money. At times, the vehicle had to navigate through a mob of people waving at the car.

Earlier, two people had jumped out of the vehicle on the 210 Freeway near Yarnell Street, said Capt. Mike Parker.
No injuries were reported, said Sgt. Daniel Stanley of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department in Santa Clarita.
This is the third police pursuit this week. On Tuesday night, a suspect was shot by police following an hour-long pursuit through neighborhoods near downtown.
On Monday, a driver led police on a pursuit for hours. He managed to flee the vehicle and evade arrest.

People thinking about robbing a bank need to remember the die packs that go with the wrapper bound cash. Blue, Red, or Orange die with an explosive. BOOM - your bag of cash now has a distinct color to it that advertises it as robbery cash.
Why bother? Why take the risk? Most bank robbers get caught, and the paltry usable cash they get makes it work out to something like $2.55 per hour wages for their efforts. Indeed, it is fairly stupid.
Our big banks with trillions in assets have been getting billions in 0% loans. These pigs have been using our own money to rape us. The are driving up the price of gas and other essentials on our hurting people by manipulating the commodities market. Everyone knows this and nothing is done to stop them.
Also, why should anyone pay a bank 600k for a 200k house when the tax payer backs the loan? All government guaranteed loans should be made directly for a small interest. This would cut house notes and rentals by half or more and leave trillions in the hands of our people instead of thieving banks.
Wall street, banks, insurance companies, hedge funds and commodities speculators have much in common. They all produce nothing and take mountains. These pigs own our government and they are destroying America. I am old enough to remember when Jessie James was a hero. We will force real change or go into depression and chaos.

Another chase and putting more innocent lives in danger of being killed by either the robber or the cops. I had an idea that would end these chases and make it so the thieves would be guaranteed to be caught but when my idea was removed from the site, I mothballed all of it. It was fairly simple and a police car would be the only sure vehicle to utilize it. However, no one wants to try it out. I read every year where kids getting out of school or going to school are killed in high speed chases ,none of which are necessary. From someone who does not want to be ticketed for rolling through a stop sign to not wearing a seat belt, they would rather take a chance on wrecking their car and the police more or less force them to flee. In this day and age its silly, that noone has thought of this before. I wanted to offer it to California ,since it seems to be the car chase capital of the world, but my paragraph was removed. So screw it.

It appears, looking at the gap in welfare usage rates white vs. black, versus the poverty rate gap between the two, that even when white people are poor, they're much less likely to get on handouts than poor blacks (and poor Hispanics to a lesser degree). I watched the whole thing on a live internet feed. It was fascinating. The driver was very courteous - he didn't hit one car or any of the folks scooping up money. A modern day 'Robin in da Hood'. I can't wait to hear more about the suspects and what they were thinking. On a side note, three cheers for the dude in the silver truck who brought an end to the chase without so much as a scratch on his ride. Sweet!

Bank of America robs from the citizens in charging very high rates of interest and when you get behind in payments they charge higher interest to help you out, so that you can never get paid off and they whine because you are forced to file bankruptcy.
