I think the Zombie idea is pretty realistic. Not that people are walking dead of course, but that people get the zombie mentality during a crisis. If your mission was to talk a truck of food to an orphanage and the sick kids in the truck heading back out of the crisis area you would have to contend with the zombies. A bunch of people would be trying to get the food for themselves and get their own butts out of the crisis area. During katrina I read something about people shooting at resue helicopter because they were grabbing other people first. Looting like crazy. People just go crazy man. Zombie crazy!

Also I am in the Army and I want to do some training like this so don't ruin this for me. You can all spend your farm/auto/energy/welfare/social sercurity/every other freaking thing money how you want. Because, a contract is only good when it has both signatures on it, and mine isn't on it, is yours? If this kind of social contract means giving up some of our freedoms just for the convenience of a government to take away our money in taxes so they can squander it, then I for one want those freedoms back. It was often considered "patriotic" to resist the government if it was overstepping its constitutional boundaries and/or the people thought it was not acting in their best interest. Anyone remember the "old-school" zombies? When you had to have a witch doctor or some voodoo guy casting a spell to raise the dead to do their evil bidding? Also, they could kill you, but you didn't automatically become one. At what point did zombies turn into a vampire/werewolf kind of monster where getting bitten by one turns you into one? That didn't happen until the '80s zombie flicks, right? He told me that they did a training mission once with a "simulated agent", and when they went out to collect samples for analysis, everything out there was dead - even lower invertebrates, and that considering the length of time it took to run tests and isolate possible agents, if there was much wind at all, a lot of people would likely die before they even knew what they were dealing with. He said he didn't want that kind of responsibility.
