We are guaranteed our rights through that constitution and the Bill of rights tells the government what they are not allowed. Every time we allow the government to infringe on those right we change the fundamental contract that we have with that government. Once you abdicate your right it is difficult to get back.

You see we once had a country without an individual income taxes, wealth was a measurement of success and a place where you were only limited by your ability. Things have certainly changed from those days and the worst of it is that we allowed it to happen.

Translation - the accusations are false. Bain Capital is run by a group of managers who make all of the decisions. Bain has made all those decisions on their own since 1999 when Romney took a leave of absense. When he returned to Bain after the Olympics, it was only to turn in his resignation. Screwed: actually the voter ID thing in PA was stopped by the courts because the range of eligible voters who didn't have a photo ID was between 100,000 and 300,000, and the state said that if even 30,000 people came in to apply for the ID between now and the election, it would overload the system.

So, using math, if the voter ID law was not stopped in PA, it would have disenfranchised 60,000 people AT THE VERY LEAST, and possibly as many as 270,000.

So I'm curious: do you consider 60,000 persons 'VERY few if any at all', or are you just entirely ignorant of the consequences of the policy you support?

Do they not file tax retruns because they can't get a SS card??? NO credit cards becasue the don't have ID??? How do they cash checks??? You can't even file for foodstamps and welfare checks without ID so explain how people get all these services or do they live in the sticks, off the land, no running water, electricity???? IF the ycan't figure out how to get an ID card the yprobably can't figure out how to vote either. I worked as a caregiver for folks with disabilities for 25 years. Every single one of them had SS cards, state ID cards and were registered voters.

Are you going to continue to deny what the state said in court - that it simply cannot process that many state ID cards in time for the election? Or do you just not care?

I really am beginning to suspect the latter, since you do not seem at all bothered that so many eligible people will be turned away from the voting booth, because of a simple logistics problem created by a 'last minute' attempt at pushing through the new law.
