Listen, I certainly don't embrace religion in my life, but absolutely support those who do and have that kind of faith - actually wish I understood it more, but the fact is, this was not about religion. This is about some crazy, selfish "B" deciding her hubby didn't appreciate her enough so she was going to get back at him. These are the kind of cases that the death penalty should be reserved for and actually carried out for.

Sounds like she took some meds. About a year ago another woman stabbed her little girl, claiming the same "devil in side" my child' thing. It turns out she had been taking anti-weight gain pils. Very abnormal to stab anyone 150 times especially your own kids unless the devil was indeed in you.

She admitted to the killings to get back at her husband because he did not appreciate her.

When events like this happen, after recoiling from the initial shock, I ask myself, "What drove this woman to do this?"

And my answer is always, "She is really 'out of her mind' and needs psychiatric help."

Then my question is, "How could her family miss so many red flags that must have shot up while she was interacting with them all?"

This sounds like a Liberal Obama supporter who was told her entitlement check was delayed by Hurricane Sandy.

Ok, let me see if I have this right. She gets a knife, goes into where the kids are, then repeatedly stabs, over and over, until blood is literally everywhere. She repeats this on her other child, and then apparently does it the same way on the dogs. All of the stabbing victims are dead.

Then she concocts at least three different stories to create some assemblance of reasoning, so that the authorities will think she had nothing to do with it, or that if she did, then it was all justified.

Psychiatrist One will say she's insane. Psychiatrist Two will claim several other mental illnesses. The defense attorney will point to their testimony and give this as a reason why she cannot be found guilty because of insanity.

I like the hanging in the public square concept a previous poster suggested. The one-shot execution would also be nice, but just before the shot rings out, show her the photographs of the children before and after the act. Show her how they looked when they were happy, and then show her the crime photos when the police showed up. Maybe throw in last year's birthday party photos for good measure. Make her look at all of them, then blast the living daylights out of her.

Someone, somewhere, needs to stand up for the children - all children - and protect them. We aren't doing enough when it comes to cases like this one. They'll never see graduation, their proms, getting their driver's licenses, dating, falling in love or anything else that goes with being a kid. It's despicable.

I absolutely hate her for what she did to those children, and I am not at all ashamed to say it. May she rot from the inside out.

This had nothing to do with religion. This is about a woman who was extremely bitter, emotionally devestated, and mentally unstable because of how she was potentially treated by her husband. Maybe her husband did not appreciate her -- maybe he did. In either case, her actions of revenge against her husband by killing the children are so unthinkably shocking that I can hardly believe it. Hurt and/or abused people can behave in ways that are very unexpected. I wonder if she was mistreated by her husband or if she was just mentally unstable. No normal person could do such a thing.

And I'm not religious, mainly agnostic, but if you're hardcore enough atheist, gay who religious people won't let marry, whatever makes you have an axe to grind to bring up religion here, this to me almost makes a case for religion.

I mean, you'd think even the worst psycho would just plain get tired, and also lose the passion after 40 or so stabbings of an innocent child's body. I don't believe in such things, but I'd almost be tempted to believe this bitch was possessed.

Can you say DRUGS.....more than likely she was on drugs....Ice, Crack..to name a few that would make her see things that really weren't there; why isn't there EVER a mention about the DRUG problem in this country when it comes to crimes? Did you ever notice that the only time "under the influence" is mentioned is when your driving? Drugs are responsible for soooo many horrible acts! She may have over done it ... and obviously lost it! I wonder how long it had been since she got some sleep? God bless the children for they are his, Amen.
