John Collazos, 47, was arrested Monday and faces one count of practicing dental hygiene without an active license, according to a complaint affidavit.
A Florida man accused of performing illegal dental work was arrested again after police said he had administered a shot for a woman's toothache and then kissed her buttocks.
John Collazos, 47, of Hollywood, was arrested Monday and faces one count of practicing dental hygiene without an active license, according to a complaint affidavit.
Hollywood Police said Collazos posed as a dentist and treated the woman, who paid him as much as $65 for his services in a Hollywood apartment.
Collazos put a paste in the woman's mouth to help alleviate pain from a toothache. After she continued to complain of pain, he told her she would need to pull her pants down to administer a shot, the affidavit said.

Then, in a room fully equipped with dental equipment, the man touched her private area and kissed her buttocks, according to police.
The woman told police officers that Collazos did not answer her when she asked him why he touched her.
Collazos was previously arrested in September after Davie Police said he performed illegal dental work out of a warehouse.
"He was, for lack of a better term, preying on people whose immigration status may have been questionable and had no other place to go and he used that to his advantage to get these people into his business," Davie Police spokesman Dale Engle said.

The funny thing about this statement is, that in Canada ( I know the story is from the US ) people do practice dentistry from there homes. There are 2 fully equipped dentists that practice from home with in 2 miles of where my family in Quebec lives.
For some places, it is not odd at all for people to practice from their homes.

well I got a degree in brain surgery by correspondence but as of yet haven't done any operations yet
later got to be a gynecologist by the same method but cant seem to pass the practical because cant get past the examination don't know what the problem is

This type of "medicine" and treatment is extremely common in South Florida. From garage-based plastic surgery to liposuction, the fraud capitol of the nation is also the home to most of the unlicensed medical procedures performed, often to terrifying results.
This all stems from a deeply-ingrained cultural disrespect for professionalism and legal licensing requirements, the insatiable desire to get something "on the cheap", and the overwhelming urge to display the most plastic and trashy personal persona obtainable. The ignorant get what they deserve, and she's extremely lucky that her only injury was to her pride.

Something in my head tells me there is a problem with that. Oh yeah, it's MY BRAIN.
I think most of these stories are about illegals who feel they cannot get medical care at a legitimate place for fear of being deported. This is also the reason they are often victims of crimes that go unreported.
As much as this nation wants to fight about immigration reform, the reality is these stories and worse will continue to be the news until a resolution is found one way or the other.

This just said he doesn't have a currently active license, but I seriously doubt he ever had one, at least in this country. Anyone can get Orajel at the store, and any shots would be in your gum, bot your butt. This woman must have some serious problems understanding reality.
i would agreee but the truth is butt injections go straight to the source. plus orajel probably has flouride which contains toxic levels of mercury. yes they dont tell you that in the US. they even put flouride in baby water.
