Jillian Thomas, 8, suffered puncture wounds from a dolphin bite at SeaWorld in Orlando, Fla., as she was feeding the animal. SeaWorld says Jillian did not follow directions given by a park employee. NBC's Kerry Sanders reports.
SeaWorld is defending the actions of its employees in Orlando, Fla., after an 8-year-old girl from Georgia was injured by a dolphin.
Jillian Thomas of Alpharetta was participating in the feeding at the dolphin facility Nov. 21. When she held a paper fish container up so the dolphin could grab it, the animal lunged at her and bit her hand. Her father, Jamie Thomas, captured the attack on camera. The video shows the girl’s face contorting in pain as the dolphin briefly grabs her left hand.
Jillian suffered three puncture wounds, but her mother said she didn't think park employees took her injuries seriously.
In a statement, SeaWorld officials said they addressed the incident appropriately.
"Nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our guests, employees and animals," the statement said.
"Educators and animal care staff were at the attraction when this happened and immediately connected with the family. In addition, a member of our health services team was in the area at Dolphin Cove and quickly responded and treated the young girl.
"The video had not been previously shared with us and we have not had a chance to assess it, but certainly take the situation seriously."
Food for the dolphins comes on small trays. In a video from the exhibit, an announcer warns visitors not to hold them up, as the dolphins will reach for them.
In the video, Jillian can clearly be seen picking up the tray, but her mother claims she never heard the warning.
SeaWorld said guests are given clear instructions on how to feed the dolphins, including specific directions not to pick up the paper trays.

Patrons were warned not to pick up the tray.
Lesson learned...?
Been there the message is VERY clear, and loud.
The kid and the parents did not pay attention to the instructions they were being given and now want to blame the park and its employees for their own inattention and stupidity. Typical attitude that you see in so many people, there is always someone else to blame for their own mistakes. They were no doubt snapping pictures or yapping away while the park employee was giving the instructions instead of paying attention. No different than when you are sitting on a plane, how many people actually pay attention to the safety announcements. I have no doubt that they will find some ambulance chasing lawyer to sue SeaWorld for them so they can try and get some easy money. There is no such thing as personal responsibility any more in this country. Unfortunately, I doubt this little girl will learn a lesson from this to pay better attention to instructions because she has her parents telling her it was not her fault and that the park employees were to blame for her injury.
In addition to the fact that neither the kid nor the parents heeded directions (when, apparently, thousands of kids are able to each month, or we would hear about this all the time), if you watch the full video, it's clear that once the Dolphin realizes it has more than a fish in its mouth, it lets go. She only had a few puncture wounds that don't even look like a bite and she didn't require hospitalization.
My dad would have put a ban-aid on it spank me apologized to the staff and took me home that would have been the end of the day and I would have ruined everything for the family.
Bubba - that's awesome! Your dad is old school all the way and my dad probably would have done the same. Thanks for the laugh!
Not likely. Clueless parents told the kid "Poor baby! It must be someone else's fault!" What lesson is to be learned from that?
When your child gets hurt, the first instinct is to look for someone to blame and take revenge. Unfortunately, those involved just weren't following directions. It was their fault. Giant money grab by the parents.
Guess there won't be any more feeding of the dolphins - especially after the lawyers are done.
Innocent or not, SeaWorld will have to pay.
Jake, Most parent in the old days would have looked at the Dolphin, that's who bit the kid, like I told you not to pet that strange dog kind of thing! Ya know you wanthed to feed it, it's got teeth what did you expect it to do lick ya?
Dolphins & Killer Whales belong in the ocean, elephants, lions, & bears belong in their natural habitat (NOT a circus), and chimps and poison snakes are NOT house pets!!!!
What bothers me the most is this dolphin is getting in trouble for "being" a dolphin. Thank you little girl for ruining it for the rest of us.
SHHHH bubba your are go messup the payday for the family.
You know, so many go to bed hungry in this nation, yet cat food is full of tuna. I can't help but think each time I go to the zoo and see those porpoises crammed into those tiny tanks, what a waste that is. Butcher half of them now! That's hundreds of pounds of dolphin meat that can be fed to our cats, freeing up that tuna for our nation's hungry.
I smell lawyers. Face it, things happen when you deal with animals. The kid now has a great story she'll be telling people all he life.
And Killian Jones, maybe someone should butcher you and your family. Just think how many could be fed on that. Butcher dolphins indeed. You're an idiot.
Killian Jones-
Shut up and go away, people like you is why the world sucks.
As far as the story goes-
This little girl is an idiot! The dolphin did absolutely nothing wrong...I am so sick of humans (idiot ones like these) blaming animals for THEIR OWN stupidity. Plus, who gives a crap?! It's a bite, she's still alive...move on! Seriously, kids these days get their toes kissed on a daily basis about everything and we wonder why they're such pansies anymore!
If I was that child's parent I would've done exactly what Bubba stated in his earlier comments about what his dad would've done.
The kid is being cool. She still wants to work with dolphins when she is older. The parents on the other hand are teaching her to overreact to everything. If it was me I would say to her you might be lucky and have a little scar to go with your unique story to tell for the rest of your life. Like that movie where the two characters were trying to one up each other with their scars. Dolphin bite, there's not many come backs on that one.
Jaws?
Killian - I'm going to say you are being sarcastic as I think I heard that line from a movie somewhere. If not then the others posts are right on.
At any rate, the parents and the girl are to blame, no if's and or buts about it. Love that they didn't think the staff responded the right way, oh please, what did they want them to do? Call in a helicopter and airlift her to a hospital? Then I'm sure they would say the hospital didn't do there job when they demanded she be put in ICU and undergo many test ect, and they said no, and the story continues. Get my point? They likely would've been unhappy either-way and the overreaction is non-sense. I've been to Seaworld as well and any warnings they give you are loud and clear. Excuse them for not personally stopping by each person to make sure you a listening like an adult would and thus supervise your children, since you know they are your responsiblity!
The kid got nothing more than something that needed a few band aids and that was it. Failure to follow directions plain and simple. I can't fault her as much as the parents but hopefully she learns and has more sense then they do. Exact type of people that require the stupid person warnings to be put on damn near everything. Topped with the blame others mentality, I did no wrong, and the duh it is a wild animal stop so stop trying to fault it for being a wild animal (not to mention the dolphin quickly let go so it knew that it didn't have what it wanted).
At any rate I'm sure they've got enough voice mails, emails, ect to fill a novel from scum lawyers seeking to offer their services. In the end will likely be one more thing that is ruined for everyone else due to someone's stupidity and our society not making sure we hold them responsible for it, but rather blame everyone else. I hope Seaworld fights this to the end, if not for anything more than the principle of the matter. It is so time for this non sense to end and for personal responsibility and common sense to make a come back.
Jaws, you are right, I was hoping someone would remind me. That is a great scene.
Wait wait wait.... Lesson... Learned...? #$%@ THAT &@$#!!! THIS IS AMERICA!!!! SUE!!! SUE!!! SUE!!!
/sarcasm
And addy121: Seriously? Have you or any of the idiots who voted up your comment ever watched "Naked Gun 2 1/2: The Smell of Fear"?
Watch it, then apologize to Killian for your ignorance.
Patrick, I have to agree with you. What a great story this kid has for the rest of her life, with no harm done to her or the dolphin.
to bubba-1946427:
Right on bubba!!
Stupid parents!! Feel sorry for the kid but the parents are making complete fools of themselves...depending on how far this whole situations goes might determine whether Sea World will shut down feeding the dolphins...what a shame!!
Dolphins can be every bit as dangerous as other animals and they are very smart...if you can't accept the inherent danger of being that close to a wild animal, then you shouldn't go that close...you wouldn't go near a dog on the street you don't know, let alone feed one. They assumed the risk!!
Bubba, we might be long lost brothers. lol excellent post because it hits so close to home.
bubba-1946427 - My thoughts exactly!!
My daughter wants to work with dolphins, and I would still love for her to get to feed them. Really, that dolphin let go immediately and it only happened because she didn't follow directions. It was an accident and it isn't as if a dolphin is going to grab a kid's throat or drag one over into the water to drown. I'm not saying they aren't able to really hurt, but let's be realistic here. If you follow directions it all works out fine, and you aren't in there swimming with them or doing anything that is going to get them to attack you. She just happened to have her hand in the way.
I think the fact that they have a video of the girl holding out the holder and the dolphin letting go immediately, not pulling at her or aggressive, and that she is fine will keep this out of court. I would say pay the medical bill at the most and move on.
As an Open Water Diver, I have had encounters with wild Dolphin, in the Florida Keys.
They are intelligent, curious and gentle animals. I was with a group of Divers, when we
came upon a Pod of them, and we remained still, to see what they would do. They swam
up to us, used their noses, to check out whether we had any injuries and actually wanted to
play with us, pushing us away from the Reef. When we all moved in together, as a "pack"
they decided we wanted no part of being flipped all over the place by them, and they also
decided it was time for all of us to move along. At no time, did any of them attempt to bite
us. They don't eat humans, like the Killer Whale, or sharks. Finally, we went back to our
boat, and they decided to swim and frolic and play with each other, and swam away.
We had quite a story to tell the rest of the Divers, when we finally boarded
the Dive Boat. We were just really disgusted that we didn't have an underwater camera with
us, that would have taken pictures at 75 feet below the surface. They are magnificent, out
in the Ocean. Very sad that this poor animal is being used for entertainment, and cooped up
in a tank. On top of it, to be blamed for instinctively being curious and wanting to see what was
in the tray? The Parents are to blame on this one, and no jury will award them bus fare back to
Georgia. If they try to sue Sea World, they had better get some hungry ambulance chaser who
is willing to work on a contigency basis, or they will risk losing their home to Attorney fees, and getting
nowhere, fast. THAT would be the ultimate in stupidity.
bubba ... I agree with you having been to SeaWorld many a time, the warning is loud and clear.
The last time there, my husband was attacked by a seagull while feeding the dolphins .... the bird drew blood and got the dolphin's fish. I have that on video ... should have sued!
Instead he got a bandaid.
My dad would have laughed and then asked me, "Well, did you learn your lesson?"
Can't remember the last time a I heard a parent utter that phrase...
Saw an interview with the little girl on TV Sunday and she was fine. Cool even. She was worried the Dolphin might get sick from eating the carton. The parents on the other hand were complete douches! It was stated that they had no intention of sueing but sounded more like they were soliciting for a a good (oxymoron) lawyer on national TV.
Well, I don't blame the child for failing to follow safety guidelines; I blame the parents.
But based upon what I've read, this doesn't even merit a new story. The girl received a painful lesson, but one without apparent long term impact.
I wonder if the family went out for sea food later. Isn't mahi-mahi dolphin?
The parents obviously failed to properly instruct their little girl regarding the proper use of theatrical hysterics while attempting to stage grounds for a lawsuit. After more training she will be taken to the pirahna tank at the local aquarium for swimming lessons.
The parents are smelling blood money.... the girl is only 8, stop hating on her.....and the dolphin didn't try to eat her for crying out loud...... it grabbed at food, got her arm and let her go..... anyone blaming the dolphin needs to stay in the house and watch Disney movies.
Dman -
Mahi-mahi is a name for the dophin variety of fish, not the mammalian dophins being discussed here.
So his daughter is being bitten by a dolphin and his response is to make a video of it? Now what could he have been thinking? $$$
Seems to me its the parents fault for not watching their childs every move while feeding the dolphin; it is only common sense to immetiatly lean the food over for the animal; the dolhpin did what a dolphin would naturally do- see food-EAT .My daughter has swam with dohphins; been in very close contact several different times; we learned alot about these mamals b-4 she was able to even get in the water with one; my judgement here; parents fault for not taking instruction better.im glad sea worlds defending them.
Follow directions.
Brings new meaning to the phrase "nice chum....." I suggest taking the family to the Lion Fish Petting Pool..... Swim with a Great White?..... Arm Wrestle an Octopus? Where is Darwin when we need hm.....
Must be an engineer.... have you ever seen one try to open a box of cereal?
Aw come on .... my son is an engineer and he is a stickler for directions... :)) Any how I feel the same as everyone else. Get a clue mommy and daddy!!!
Stupid dolphins. I say to never trust 'em.
These are smart, wild animals that Sea World and other organizations exploit for profit. They get frustrated in captivity and act out. People participate at their own risk - they get roughed up on a regular basis in the Caribbean and it never makes the news.
uhmm... a dolphin who is trying to grab food is not acting out, it is being a dolphin. I get your save the Earth/PETA argument, but does not apply here.
I was in an in counter with these mammals they are very powerful, knocked me on my AZZ, a young one he was not being payed attention to and would come flying buy. the trainer could not stop him. He was taken control of by 2 other trainers. It was still fun we all got to meet the little not really sh.., he apologized to me have my picture of him with me. No hard feelings.
Return the dolphins and the killer whales to their natural habitat. Elephants do NOT belong in a circus, tigers do NOT want to jump through hoops, bears do NOT enjoy dancing, chimps & poison snakes are NOT pets.............
Peace 322 How do you know did you ever ask them maybe they don't like hunting for their own food, maybe they like being given a meal having a place to live and food every day without being hunted as prey it works both ways. Think of it you mention the biggies how about the prey. I'm a predator as all men are they can be caged or food their choice!!!! Oh that makes you too, release the plants while your at it I don't think they like to be kept in pots.
Do you suppose that a pelagic animal that sleeps with half it's brain at a time enjoys living for decades in a swimming pool doing tricks for dull tourists and being rewarded with dead fish, bubba? I know all things should suffer gladly for your entertainment, but really, try to fire more than one brain cell at a time. My house cat is probably more a predator than I'm sure you'll ever be - unless you consider stalking that pack of stale twinkies in the fridge hunting.
Rojas, until you've seen one of these animals die slowly for lack of medicare care because it's just cheaper to order up a new dolphin, you won't really get my "save the Earth" argument. FYI, it has nothing to do with saving the earth or with PETA - it's just compassion and empathy. Both words are in the dictionary if you care to familiarize yourself with them.
Pedestrian, so you keep an animal for your own pleasure because you think that it is the way it should be, interesting, you think man has domesticated the cat and dog and made them PETS, a pleasure animal just for you to enjoy, so they can be fed by you and you can pet them and change their box, and if you let it out it can get run over by a car. YOU KNOW What else is in the dictionary Hypocrite! look it up. Also study why Horses, dog and cats became PETS! interesting, they had uses for MAN!!!
Ped ... I am not one that is a big fan of animals in captivity whatsoever, but I'm also not a fan of folks like yourself thinking that because you have an opinion everyone else is a twit for not falling in line with you.
Have you considered some of the non-profit related reasons/benefits for having Seaworld, Zoos, etc... other than fascination, these places do bring awareness to people who otherwise would not ever see these animals. How many children have seen a dolphin/seal/whale show at Seaworld and just fallen in love with that species. That leads to a lifetime of that person caring about the animal and maybe some day doing something that is helpful for them. Personally, I've never done anything that would help dolphins but I definitely wouldn't purposefully do anything to harm them. Majority of people care more if they have the personal experience than just seeing footage on TV, pictures in a magazine, etc...
So before you got on your tree hugger-ish rant and insult people, maybe a few things should cross your mind. Your opinion matters to nobody but yourself, you may not always be right about everything, you certainly don't know everything and Bubba probably can't find any twinkies because you bought out the western seaboard when you heard the news about Hostess.
Bubba.....Really? And what would YOU suppose these "caged" animals would say, if they could respond (they can't) coherently to human language? Would YOU like being in prison? You get FREE room/board, three meals, medical care, I've heard cable TV (not sure), gymnasium to pump up, and I've also heard they get drugs of their choice, although illegally. Some even get sex (Susan Smith, the double-child killer who almost started a race-riot).
If you answered NO, that is what PEACE was trying to explain, I think.
Ped would rathe see all animals back in the wild, so they can be killed and eaten by other animals.
Rex, because dying in a fish tank is so much more humane, eh?
Bubba - look up the definition of "domesticated" sometime.
Expertatnothing - not that your opinion matters, but when I was a kid, I saw dolphin off shore running ahead of a storm. Years later, my work has led to many fascinating experiences - I've been in the water with great schools of tuna, with humpback whales, with thousands of golden rays, with schooling hammerheads. Never once in 20 years have I run across anyone who said "I decided to do this because I saw Shamu do a back flip." I might not know everything, but about this topic, I'm afraid I know a bit more than you OR bubba. ;)
Sounds like the parents weren't paying attention. Doesn't seem like SeaWorld's fault, but they're probably going to get sued anyway. I predict that dolphin feeding will soon be accompanied by a mandatory sign-off on a written warning document.
I'm sure the personal injury lawyers are already blowing up the family's phone. Probably met them at the gate as they were leaving.
For Sure my friend!! Just like hungry crows!
Correction, you mean vultures.
Make no mistake, this family will get NOTHING, as they should. The instructions were announced, the parents FAILED to watch their child closely during the feeding to make sure the instructions were heeded, and so there you have it. Look at the case involving the child that was killed by wild dogs when he fell into the exhibit: The parents were at fault but aren't charged, and neither is the zoo, because it was a tragic accident. This case is no different, except that the parents should be sued for stupidity, for neglecting their parental reponsibilities!
Another kid who can't listen.. big suprise... mother 'never heard the warning'... nature or nurture ?
If you watch the video, you will see the girl is not paying any attention at all to the Dolphin she appears to be looking next to her or behind perhaps at a parent and she is holding the food in a white tray when the Dolphin tried to grab the food. Natural instinct for the Dolphin, who ever was watching this girl certainly was not paying any attention. This is not the fault of the park it is s a lack of supervision on the part of her Parents!!!
"But Your Honor, I was totally watching my daughter! How else could I have videotaped the horror??"
lol! Totally right, Akinna.
Who needs a warning that dolphins can be dangerous.. my cat can be dangerous. Also, mom/dad would have been better off properly supervising their child rather than filming. Been to this exhibit many times, have never let my daughter feed as I do not believe she is old enough to follow the directions they give... I guess somehow I know that she may get bitten if she does not follow directions... go figure.
I have one daughter who doesn't follow directions well at almost 9, and I wouldn't let her do that. The other wants to train dolphins and is great at following directions. I would let her do that.
I agree I would love to see the animals in the wild and numerous, healthy and free. While I do think there is exploitation, I also see the value in seeing the animals and appreciating them. I also knwo there is research that is done to help the species, so that is a good thing. It isn't a perfect world by any means...sigh. But those kids will have a life-long love of the animals they see and may end up being the researcher that saves the species at some point. Balance...hard to achieve.
Although I feel for the girl, if you let your kids feed wild animals, you take the responsibilty to know what and what not to do correctly. The dolphin only knew that the container smelled like fish and she went for it. The girl was not paying attention at that particular time. Look at the video again. Seaworld warned you.
Actually, dolphins have no sense of smell. I've been to this exhibit and clearly heard the warnings about the dolphins. They have been conditioned to this behavior and will grab at any shiny, fish-like object held in your hands (phone, jewelry, cameras). As an adult I choose not to feed them because I found them to be aggressive in this feeding behavior. I've worked with dolphins in the past and you must be attentive when dealing with them. They are very intelligent and they are large animals in an environment where humans are extremely outgunned. If a dolphin interacts with you it's because it chooses to...not because it's domesticated.
And look at the video again. The girl completely stops paying attention to the dolphin and what it's doing, then looking at her mom, she grasp the paper tray and holds it up to her mother..., positioning her hand between the tray and the dolphin. The dolphin goes for the food tray, but she put her hand between the tray and the dolphin.
As someone else alluded to, this is no different than a situation when petting or giving a snack to a dog. if you don't pay attention to what you're doing, you're probably going to get an accidental nip from the dog.
agreed with all posts above. The girls is paying ZERO attention, did not follow basic instruction and the parents are just as guilty of at least stupidity.
Common Sense: they are animals...just like any other, they can bite...or behave in unexpected ways, especially when you hold a cup of what they think is food when you were just told not to.
Most of society cannot follow simple instructions, merge into traffic or do just about any 2 tasks simultaneously. This is no surprise.
.........its a freaking wild animal that may or may not need a vision test. Who cares.
Fine, very nice, now put the mirror down and comment on the story.
Nothing to add except that comment made me laugh.
How many Americans drop their chicken nuggets on a daily basis? How many check a curb? Dont waive fish in front of a dolphin, and don't let Michael Vick dog sit for you, same rules. I never found a cat skeleton in a tree, but hey, theres always a first.
Watching the video, it looks like an unfortunate accident. She should not have picked up the tray, but she wasn't holding it out to the dolphins, she looked like she was probably going to ask her parents for more. My daughter loved the dolphin exhibit when we went a few years ago and she was the same age as this girl. Even with the warnings and I would watch her, I could picture her doing something like that without thinking. I just hope this doesn't get blown out of porportion and they either get sued or close the exhibit. I am sure the employees reacted professionally and hope this gets chalked up as a lesson learned for the little girl.
yes, kid is 8 she forgot...or took the instructions to mean don' t pick up the whole tray and wave it at the dolphin
she picked it up and half turned to get more fish ..she even says "mom I'm out of fish" and half turns to get more.
she's not at fault...understandable mistake. Happened too fast for parents to stop her. And Dolphin isn't at fault either.
Sea world does warn them. They might need to explain it better...don't lift tray up for ANY reason or dolphin can LUNGE out of pool. But that' s all
Yummy! Taste's like fish!
Contrary to common belief, dolphins are actually wild animals with teeth! The do what they have been trained to do most of the time and where food is concerned, they will do what they want to do to get it. The girl clearly did not follow instructions and the dolphin did what they said it would do. End of story. Maybe the crowds at dolphin exhibits should be limited to those who can correctly answer questions about what the video just showed. Maybe only adults should be allowed to feed them, too. Maybe they should all be released back to the wild, instead!
Simply put the little girl didn't follow directions (not too unusual). The dolphin wasn't acting up, he was merely trying to eat his meal as per usual an her hand just happened to be in the way of his teeth. I always "DRILLED" it into my kids heads not to feed the dogs out of their hand as they may (accidentally) get bit! It was an unfortunate "ACCIDENT" and I have a feeling the parents are seeing dollar signs! Maybe Sea World should just leave the feeding up to the trained handlers (I'm sure the kiddos will still have a great time "watching" the show). :D
Hope Jillian feels better real soon!
This could have happened feeding the next door neighbor's dog or cat. Dangle the food up and the animal will go for it. Parents should have been paying more attention. You notice not another single person lifted the tray. This whole bringing it to the press because we want to warn others is BS. I smell something fishy and it isnt the chum being feed to Flipper.
Accidents happen. Glad the girl is ok. Step down from your mommy pedestal mom... and be grateful your unsupervised child will be fine. A teachable moment...?
The little girl held up the bait, while turning and talking. Its her own fault. You dont feed any animal, and not give them 100% attention at all times. Her tiny puncture wounds didn't need any major care, they were just a scratch. Some disinfectant and shes good to go. She is, infact, lucky that her lesson wasnt more painful.
Her dad should have been supervising, and making sure his daughter paid FULL attention, instead of looking for better camera angles.
What did the dolphin see. It saw the girl taking the tray of food away. It just wanted the tray.
You cannot even start to feed the animals until you listen to the CLEAR instructions. These parents should be embarassed. Thank goodness they werent feeding sharks or wild bears, for these parents seem to not care for their childs safety. This is not the parks or the animals fault!
While I'm assuming you're being sarcastic, I have seen stupid in action more than once. Growing up near Yellowstone Nat Park I saw people letting their kids feed Grizzlies from their car windows. Watched morons try to get close to Buffalo and Moose for that perfect picture. While I have little sympathy for adult morons that win the Darwin award. It's a shame that the children and often the animals suffer because the "intelligent" adults were "too intelligent" to bother reading the warning pamphlets given to all that enter the Park. The Parents in this case should be sued for child endangerment and causing potential harm to the animals in the habitat. That's a teachable moment I would pay to see. Mom didn't hear the instructions? Try listening you self-important bi*ch!
Lack of supervision, animals are instinctively going to go for food. Seaworld is going to take the fall for this when the parents really should have been listening and paying more attention to their daughter. Glad it wasn't a major bite, although I'm sure it hurt plenty. But really - kids this age should not be unsupervised - I have a 9yr old who would have done the same thing in the excitement - it's up to the parents to watch. Shame on them. And double shame for blaming Sea World.
If these people sue they should have to pay the attorney fees of the park and give up custody of their daughter. Too bad we have circumvented most of natural selection or this girls parents and consequently she would not be here. The kid is stupid because the parents are stupid. Head first into the methane digester will work with them.
Instead of talking to lawyers and press, the mother should talk to the daughter and tell her "THIS is why you follow directions" But nooooooo, why assume personal responsibility when you can sue instead? And what lesson will you teach your daughter "nothing's your fault dear". Lovely. I hope SeaWorld wins the case and countersues for stupidity.
I bet Mom gonna consult a "shark."
Too bad, I totally support Sea World and the dolphins. If you feed wild animals and don't watch what your doing things happen. Glad to see the majority here support the park and not these money grubbing parents and their precious little one that can't follow directions.
Her parents are probably upset the injuries weren't more severe because then they could sue for more money.
