In a frantic 911 call from Jovan Belcher's home following the murder of his girlfriend Kassandra Perkins, the linebacker's mom can be heard pleading with his girlfriend to stay alive.

/
Inside linebacker Jovan Belcher #59 of the Kansas City Chiefs wathces from the sideliens during his final game against the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium on Nov. 25, 2012 in Kansas City, Missouri.
While Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher was en route to Arrowhead Stadium early Saturday, about to kill himself, his mother placed a frantic 911 call to authorities during which she can be heard begging his girlfriend, Kasandra Perkins, not to die from her wounds.
"She's still breathing, but barely," Cheryl Shepherd, Belcher's mother, told the 911 dispatcher Saturday morning, in a call released by the Kansas City Fire Department on Tuesday. "Please hurry. I don't know how many times he got her. They were arguing."
As a dispatcher tells her help is on the way, Shepherd yells, "Kasandra, stay with me, the ambulance is on the way, you hear me? You hear me? Kasandra! Hey! Stay with me!"
Belcher, 25, and Perkins, 22, lived together with their three-month-old daughter, Zoey, and Belcher's mother, Shepherd. The murder-suicide was described in detail by The Kansas City Star, which reported that the couple had been arguing over their relationship and finances.
On Saturday morning, Belcher allegedly shot Perkins, kissed her and Zoey, then headed to the team's practice facility, where he thanked his coached and fired a single shot in his head, saying, "I can't be here," according to sources.
In the 911 call released Tuesday, a baby can be heard crying in the background while Shepherd speaks with the dispatcher.
"Okay, listen ma’am, is she awake?" the dispatcher asks.
"Just barely, she's just barely open," Shepherd responds.
"Can she hear what you're saying?"
"Yes, she is moving when I talk to her. Please, God," Shepherd says.
"Okay. Is she bleeding?" the dispatcher asks.
"Yes, she is," Shepherd says, as the baby began to cry.
"Where is she bleeding from?"
"I can't tell, in the back, it looks like it," Shepherd tells her, anxiety rising in her voice.
A second dispatcher from the Kansas City Police Department then gets on the line and asks Shepherd where her son is.
"He left," Shepherd says. "Please just get this ambulance here. Please."
Police arrived at the couple's home at about 7:50 a.m. Saturday morning to find Perkins' body on the floor of the master bathroom with multiple gunshot wounds, according to a police incident report.
Hours before the shooting, police found Belcher sleeping in his car outside an apartment complex about 10 miles away from his and Perkins' home. He told officers he was at the apartment to visit a woman he said was his girlfriend, but that she wasn't home. Belcher then made a phone call and a woman let him into the building, The Associated Press reported.
It's not clear who the woman was.
Belcher and Perkins had been living apart recently but got back together by Thanksgiving, friend Brianne York told The Associated Press.
Belcher's mother has been given temporary custody of the child.

Too much press being spent on a murderer and his ghetto family. If they raise the daughter, she'll be a gangbanger in no time. No mention of his father. Guess he didn't know which male conceived the murderer.
The back story is that this guy was bad to the bone all the way back to grade school.
Seriously??? Judgement day does not come soon enough for people as ignorant as you!!! Instead of being part of the problem, why don't you be a part of the solution and help people you seem to think are ghetto!! Bet you don't have the balls to do so???
Don't feed the trolls!!!
Just someone trying to get a response...
Everyday in America at least 40 and as high as 60 people are killed by gunshot;either as murder, suicide or accidental. When a high profile incident happens, it hits the airwaves but is soon forgotten. This too, will run its course and all will be left is the close friends and family. A family like Gabby Giffords husband who cherishes her life, she still has, but at times is mad at the "retard" she has become. This poor baby girl here will grow up with no mom and dad, no brother nor sister. So sad...........
Cunical, are you posting asinine comments just to get some kind of response? If you seek attention, go do it elsewhere.
He probably really feels that way.
It is Obama's fault!
Bob Costas, what are your thoughts on what happened in this video? Do you think we should ban relationships since so many spouses are killed each year by the other? Lets get your play by play.
Anon: Make that so many women and children are beat up and/or killed by husband-father-boyfriend every year. The problem isn't relationships, it's the man-child who was not raised properly and has zero emotional intelligence or self-control.
This cowardly overpaid prick shot the young mother 9 times in the neck, chest and abdomen. Sad that his mother and not her family were given temp. custody of the infant.
Bingo, 'changes!! That is exactly where my thoughts went reading this.
Cheryl Shepherd ~note: not Belcher~ sure did a great job rearing this GN thug. And where was she during the argument? Why was she not right there telling that monster to listen to his mommy and behave?
That the child left without her mother is a girl isn't going to make a material difference. She will follow the same pattern these women did. The best thing that could happen to Zoey would be to be gotten completely away from this dysfunctional, irrational, amoral bunch and be placed in an environment where there are morals, decent priorities, healthy boundaries, and an insistence on growing up to be an educated productive adult. We already have far too many parasites.
...suffering financial problems...
I can see why even though he was making 1.9 million per year. He climbed out of his Bentley before shooting himself. That car alone is a financial burden. Looks like the child will have a devoted grannie to raise.
@jkatze, you seem to be placing some significance on the fact that the mother's last name wasn't the same as her son's. People don't get remarried in your world? Or choose to not change their names when they get married?
Why can't a story like this happen to the head of the NRA's family? Then we'd see a few paradigm shifts. Nevermind, most of the NRA can't even spell paradigm.
Nobody wants to take away ALL YOUR GUNs, but in light of statistics and tragedies, could you all not simply see your way to being a little more human and a little lest smith & wesson?
Can't wait to get my Christmas gift I asked for from my boyfriend.... A new AR-15!
Yep, hopefully he won't shoot you with it. My girlfriends always asked for clothes, jewelry, perfume- you must be a peach. You do realize that even with an AR-15, the girl in the mirror is still not quite marriage material.
Grow up.
Actually we enjoy going out to the country and shooting off a few rounds at some targets once in a while, it's actually alot of fun. You don't have to be a girly girl all the time to be as good a catch as I am either. Did you mean grow up as in attack people on the vine??? Hi pot I'm kettle!
I remember YEARS ago, my husband got me a 30-30 for my birthday. I still think it's one of the most thoughtful gifts I ever received. It was something I wanted, and he remembered that I had told him that. We used to love to go target shooting together. We don't do it much anymore, but we still have all our guns in a safe. (15 of them) and I dare the government to take them away from us
PG80
I didn't know the NRA gave the man a gun. I sure wished they would just give me a gun. I always had to go out & buy my own. I haven't heard if he was a member of that voluntary organization or not, have you?
Touche 'makessense', but I would wager a grand that you're about as physically attractive as a pig in lipstick.
Goodlooking women have looks that kill. You have a rifle. Wonder who is happier.
First: This is not about guns. It is about domestic violence. Discussions of concussions and steroids should be mooted with this latest. He was young, rich, impregnated an even younger girl, made no commitment, split, and was out carousing – which apparently the young unwed mother didn't like. Gee, what a surprise! Perfect recipe for domestic harmony, right?
The guy was a perp and a coward.
The family is lucky he didn't beat the girlfriend and the baby to death at some point.
When are people and the media going to be brave enough and honest enough to address the real issues here?
Probably because this type of gun use has NOTHING to do with the type of use supported by the NRA. Hunters aren't exactly the demographic described in this all-too-familiar scenario. Neither are people who have guns to defend themselves, their homes or their businesses. Get real and call this for what it was.
That's ok PG80 you are entitled to your guess. However, this 5'4, 118, 27 year old, homecoming court in HS, a trail of 100 broken hearts left behind, accountant from DC will let you have your moment...idiot.
The problem is the replies above. The second amendment doesn't say anything about people falling hopelessly in love with guns and bragging how grand they are.
I have several for home protection, but only the complete tools need to brag about their big guns. Great, you are so awesome you can drop some cash on a machine, put some other smaller things in it, and move your finger. Hurray, what an accomplishment (for a monkey), for humans it's nothing to brag about since we can all do it. Yeah, I could buy 20 AR-15's and since I am Texas, i could put silencers on them too, something about 99% of Texans can do. It's not an accomplishment. But why, my junk works and it's not a little tiny stub that makes women laugh right before they cry. IOW I don't need to brag about how many killing machines I own because I am over 12 years of age.
It's no longer about protecting yourself, it's about propagating a culture that thinks killing machines are a status symbol.
I would ask that crowd, where exactly do they think all these guns come from, do criminals magically make them appear, are they manufacturing them. Why do I have to have a gun to protect myself from the criminals that can't legally own them. Where do black-market guns come from ? Right, so the more that are manufactured, the more will end up in the bad guys hands, your perpetuating the entire industry and ensure anyone that wants one, gets one.
It so simple a caveman can understand, more guns = more people dying from guns. It really is that simple, all your mumbo jumbo is nothing more but gun manufacture propaganda. To date I can't think of a case in which one of the locked and cocked Rambo types actually prevented a mass gun killing, yet they keep telling me that's why they have them. The stats say about 7 people in that theater had concealed permits, what happened, they forget their steel lovers ? No, they ran like chicken @!$%#s when the S hit the fan.
I want you to have the ability to protect yourself, but I am so tired of you idiots think that is something worthy bragging about. I am so tired of you idiots buying what the gun lobby is selling, and it ain't protection, it's culture that you clowns are more than happy to propagate no matter how many die. You are the ones arming the bad guys.
RIP to the deceased and my prayers for the ones this tragedy affected.
I agree with Mary Davis-355251. The guy had severe psychological problems.
As far as guns, my grandmother and grandfather had matching 30-30' which they used for deer hunting and living. I inherited one of them. Being female, I do believe in having guns as do most of my friends. My neighbors know we have guns, and even though they do not have or want guns, they enjoy that we have several and that we watch out for all of our families and property. Our neighborhood watches and helps each other in everything. Guns are not the problem and should not be blamed.
Blame guns, blame Mom, blame domestic violence, whatever. That mother went through hell! Listening to that call and then knowing what we now know, that he would also be dead in a matter of minutes is just horrifying! That poor woman. I am glad he didn't hurt the baby but if he had to go, and couldn't "be here" then take yourself only! Why kill an innocent 22 year old woman? Terrible. So sad for that young lady's family members.
Mary Davis - I agree with everything that you stated. However, using birth control is a two-way street. If one partner won't use it, then the other should if they do not want a baby. I'm not in any way trying to make excuses for this guy, but anyone in his position of money and a high profile job should know that there are many, many women out there who want to have a baby in order to get their financial claws into the guy for the next 18 years. The article stated, "the couple had been arguing over their relationship and finances". If he was driving a Bentley worth 120K, then why was there a problem with money? Probably because she wanted more than he was willing to give. It will happen over and over again until the guys with the high paying jobs wise up and learn not to make illegitimate babies that they have no intention of supporting. Neither one of these people was the kind of role model we would choose for our kids.
ScottW714
We are Texas born and bred. I would rather people know there are guns around for self defense and protection. I feel safer that way. I started carrying a gun when a drunk person I knew started to be threatening to me and taking pot shots in the area. The sheriff told me to get and carry a gun, because he still came around even with a restraining order. I have done so ever since. I was raised with guns and learned respect of them. My family was raised the same. Fortunately, I have never had to use one. That one drunk had a heart attack when he realized I carried without ever seeing the gun, just saw the bulge under my blouse, and never bothered me again after I called an ambulance to save him. The sheriff and all concerned were happy with the results. Everyone was alive and there were no firearms used to accomplish this. Sometimes, just knowing guns are around are a deterrence.
Numb3rTech
My point exactly, you aren't out there bragging about how many assault rifles you got, you exercised a right, like I do, without telling the whole word how cool you because you carry a gun. Nothing wrong with protection, the problem I have the culture that is making guns of sign of machismo.
Instead of folks owning some hunting rifles and maybe a couple hand guns for protection, we have people who have caches of weapons that a small army wouldn't need. You name it, assault rifles, Saturday night specials, silencers, easily convertible automatic weapons, armor piercing bullets, tracers, guns shows with little regulation, and on and on.
And while these are rarely used in homicides, they are perpetuating the notion that guns are cool. I'll admit, I find them cool too, but that isn't cool. The plague, car accidents, and heart attacks aren't cool, they kill people, not true of guns.
We have people owning guns for no other reason then they think it's cool. Which leads access to guns far too easy. This story is a great example, the guy was fascinated with guns. Maybe if the culture didn't propagate guns being cool, he and many others wouldn't buy them, and when they reach some point where they want to kill someone, maybe the time it takes to locate a weapon, is enough to cool off. Lots of if's I know, but we don't need people owning guns because the gun culture, like the thug culture, has branded them cool. We should be pushing the their purpose and our right, protection and hunting. Not using them as some sort of exaggerated sense of self worth.
If knives had been used, would we be screaming about knife control? Or what about sharpened sticks? Would we be discussing the use and abuse of sharpened sticks?
@CaerRaven that is a totally irrelevant point. of course you could kill someone with a knife or a baseball bat or a lamp or frying pan etc. The important difference between all these things and a gun is that they all serve some other utilitarian purpose and don't exist exclusively to kill. on the specific issue of knives that sort of violence wouldn't last very long in todays society because the most common result of a knife fight when both combatants have a knife is that they both end up bleeding out and dying for their trouble. having watched about a dozen of these geniuses bleed out in my ambulance i can tell you that they all realize this and feel stupid in their last moments.
This crap happens everyday. Perhaps people should pay more attention to it, rather than wait for some high profile incident to jar their collective memories.
This man was a coward.
Mesoj, you are correct. He was a low-life-coward, the whole KC football team and the dead girl's family should all P I S S on his grave. He couldn't stand the pain of some one leaving or not wanting him. Every MAN and WOMAN goes through heartbreak. It is part of being a man and a woman. This low lifed piece of C H I T, decided to take the coward's way out. Then after he shoot a DEFENSELESS WOMAN, he still chickens out and can't face the music, so he zaps himself. Nothing good should ever be said about this coward. Then he goes and grandstands in front of the football people. The coach should have told him wait, let me beat the cowboy c h i t out of you before you take your life.
I am not blaming the gun, but if a gun wasn't handy, he might would have came to his senses. I heard he had a lot of guns. Well, the facts shows that he was not a man, he was about 50 levels lower than a wimp. Is there any correlation between owning guns and being a wimp? Just asking!!
Why cant this pertain to all the CEO's, rich and the f-ing GOP. Kill'em all!
@PG80... do you honestly think if the man wouldn't have had a gun, he wouldn't have still been able to do the same thing?? Obviously he had more problems than just the "convenience" of being a gun owner... maybe we should regulate the sale of steak knives, beer bottles, and rope... If your mind is made up to do something horrible like this, you will do it with whatever is readily available. Its not the guns fault, it didn't just get up and load itself and just start shooting folks...
You are correct, he might have done the same thing if he didn't have a gun. But, the gun is the easy way. You pull the trigger, it is over.. Maybe the knife, he would have had a chance to think after stabbing once.
The gun was not the fault, however, it did make it easier.
Also, the whole wide world can see this man was a wimp to the highest degree. He had a lot of guns, so, I ask you, is their any relation to gun owners and wimps?
I ask you, is their any relation to gun owners and wimps?
I'm not sure. Why don't you ask a Marine or a Navy Seal?
You are so wrong. Talk to real murderers. Who have committed crimes of impulse or passion. Talk to psychologists- THE GUN IS KEY.
Yes people who make their mind up to do something awful will do it. Problem is? Most people UNMAKE their mind to do somehting awful after 30 seconds have passed. But that's too late when a gun is present.
Why don't you people just say "We love our guns and we are not giving them up no matter how many innocents die"? It would be better than trying to debate merits that aren't there!
No innocents have or will die by my guns. Is it my fault that other people can't control either themselves or their property?
pg80 sounds really bitter about something.
I am really tired of all this crap! No jobs! everyone killing each other! let's everyman for himself! Start looting and taking everything we need to live! I am so tired of seeing every one on TV saying OH! Everything is getting better! Well it sure sh_t is not getting better for me! I say if u r going to show reality TV start showing how miserable it really is for everyone instead of all this merry f_ing christmas crap! Because I see nothing merry when insurance is due or they will suspend my license I am unemployed with nothing to eat! I live in Palm Beach County right next to the richest MF's in the world...If they dont start paying thier fair share I'm just gonna go take. AS_Holes! Oh dont come to Fla. there r no JOBS! Only illegalls working here!
Men do bad things. Daily. Now calm down.
FYI: This murderer had a job.
He also had a fine life most of his can only dream of, as well as a Bentley and a great home and new baby and partner, all of which he gave up by picking up a gun.
He was a jerk. He was an entitled jerk from way back. Where's his father? Who 'taught' him how to be a man?
He was a murderer. A selfish coward.
Now who's brave enough to talk about the REAL causes of this kind of thing?
I disconnected my cable TV because of all the over-the-edge elaborate reality shows. The average American cannot relate to one of these shows. It is so wasteful to see so much given to a few when we have so many in need.
Instead of Extreme Makeover going in and re-doing one home creating a 1/2 million dollar home and HGVT giving away a multi-million dollar home to already rich folks, why don't they go into an average run-down neighborhood and rebuild the block for those families. Everyone on the block could have a nice new 1000 to 1300 square foot home. Bedrooms could have a basic bed, small desk with lap-tops, small walk-in-closets without all the dressers/furniture, and junk. Keep it simple and basic with clean lines that will take people through the next 10+ years. Show people how to live a simple stress free life without all the material clutter.
Too much stress at work, nasty people, not enough money, and we've all had enough. Then some are winning lotteries, making into the NFL, etc and still not able to handle it. It's a combo of all that surrounds us and the media creates more problems than they solve.
abummer: Try to get to Orlando. There are quite a lot of construction jobs right now and theme park general employment. Lots of people are looking for roommates too on craigslist.
Far more people are killed by cars than by guns. So, I am advocating car control. You have to wait 5 days before you can buy a car. You have to have a background check and get fingerprinted. If you have a history of mental illness you cannot buy a car.
How about that, Bob Costas? Jerk. I hope you're never in a mall, Bob, when a gunman opens fire and threatens your family and NO ONE is around with a concealed carry permit and a legal gun to shoot back and possibly save your stupid life. Jerk. Keep your opinions to yourself unless you're talking about sports. Jerk.
You do realize that a car accident is a bit of a different animal than homicide by automatic weaponry.
You do realize it's much easier to get ahold of a car and be a serious liability than to purchase and become a liability with an automatic weapon... right? The permits for THOSE are rather costly, it is rather inexpensive though to go out drinking for a night and not have the mind to call a cab.
let's face the facts. why the hell have a kid at their age? she's part golddigger, he is an immature NFL player with plenty of "options" when it comes to other golddiggers. and since the mother has done such a great job with him, no doubt she should raise their child. tragic, very tragic! DUDE: stay away from golddiggers and concentrate on your profession!!!!! GOLDDIGGERS: you reap what you sow! once you crank out a kid they will lose interest and go looking for the next "groupie".
So much BS in only your first sentence. And it only got dumber from there.
This overpaid controlling steroid freak didn't like the fact that Kasandra Perkins went out with the girls to a concert, without him. ANY WOMAN who has had a baby knows full well the absolute glee of finally being able to leave the house for an errand or time with friends, once the infant is a couple of months old - let alone just find time to sleep, take a shower and dress like a reasonably pretty female again.
& who is this mystery girlfriend at the apartment complex?! Kasandra wasn't allowed a night out with the girls, but he was? Hope mystery lady realizes she dodged a bullet. Literally & figuratively.
My heart goes out to Belcher's mother. The terror and agony in her voice. So sorry.
here's one for the gun nuts. last time i was in NYC some disgruntled Tshirt designer desided to get even with a store owner and shot him dead! the rollers show up and excahnge gunfire and kill him along with wounding EIGHT people!!!! these are the cops- who are TRAINED- and eight other people get shot!!! this is why i don't want a bunch of vigilante para-military knuckle-draggers throwing lead to "Deter" crime!
macAttack13
That is all one big fat lie. NYC has gun laws. Some of the strictist in the Nation. So from the start, it is all a lie, it could never have happened there. Maybe you were somewhere else?
@Kevin
That story was all over the news. I even heard about it way out here in Or-y-gone.
So for some reason you're saying ban guns because NYPD has terrible aim and civilians are too slow to get out of the way of serious trouble (ie seeing police come up, GUNS DRAWN, after someone gets murdered). Do I follow your logic?
I will tell you what! Lets everyone get a side arm like the Ole' West! Then we can have shoot outs in the street like they did in the old west! If we dont like a situation f_ck it... kill'em dead! dead! dead! Until the Mother F_cker is DEAD!
thats all just movie myth. there were a few famous shootouts but almost all involved law enforcement because all the old west towns confiscated your side arms at the city limits. in all of western history there are about a dozen shoot outs in the streets, a figure i would wager any inner city area in america tops weekly.
Is there an site adminstator monitoring this site? If so you let a**holes like this Cunical post on here?!
Jovan Belcher - What a sad excuse of a male who is supposed to protect his family!
The man was college educated, had wealth, and talked of God! He must have had deeper issues, or money and God doesn't solve all woes!
Condolences to his mom, his girlfriend's parents, family and friends (I can't imagine.....she was 22 years old)....and their child. I feel so bad for this child.
Whatdya think? I say we should all smoke a joint in Colo. then strap on our guns! What a kick in the a_s! WoW! I am getting high just the thought! Just think being stoned and killing a Mother F_cker! Holy Crap! What a concept! Welcome to the good ole' US of As_holes! I mean idiots! This country is so far behind the times it's really a big f_ing joke!
Dude, what in the F**K are you talking about?
This country is so far behind the times it's really a big f_ing joke!
I hear Benghazi is nice this time of year.
You realize it's illegal to carry, let alone operate firearms when impaired or intoxicated... right?
In your grand wisdom you must also be aware that THC generally mellows people out, right?
belcher was bad. no question about it. He was a gang member in school in New York.
This isn't about the NRA or guns. It's abour affiritive action and what it really accomplishes.
The punk did what he does best. He was a coward, he committed a cowardly crime and took a cowards way out.
It seems by some of the comments in this thread that if you don't feel sorry for criminals then you are a right wing NRA supporter.
I don't own any guns and I can only say we now have one more criminal off of the streets. I just wonder how this piece of garbage became news.
Give me the truth! WHAT! YOU CANT HANDLE THE TRUTH!
abummer, you must have never been high, cause the last thing you want to do is strap on a gun and go shoot someone. you'd be more interested in getting something to eat and sitting on the computer reading comments from stupid f**kers like you
NANCY-2292017
He would just go nuts when he found out he couldn't get Twinkies anymore. My guess is, he is nuts anyway. The Nurses don't know he is using the computer at his assisted living facility.
I think that all these athletes need to think with the big head instead of the little one--oh sorry, they all have concussions and can't think clearly anyway----maybe we should outlaw girlfriends for these athletes and make it manditory that they all go through a long investigations before they start a relationship.
This guy whould have stabbed her to death if he didn't have a gun, since he was so angry. It's good that he did himself in. That saves the world from putting up with any trial and the media having a hayday of it all.
As the economy drags on like it has, we will see much more of this, just like during the Depression of the 30's. Even with high paying athletes. This guy just wasn't stable enough to be in a relationship and have a kid.
As for guns, Bob the phony sportcaster needs to get all the facts before he blows his horn. Has he studied the crime rate in Australia now that they have outlawed guns???
Austrialia's gun crimes, and deaths from guns, have dropped dramatically. If theres been a small uptick in petty crimes, its a small price to pay to save so many lives.
Most countries with reasonable restrictions and laws on gun ownership, can count the number of gun related deaths in double digits. Unlike the US, which counts them in the thousands.
Freedom4Everyone
The US has seen a drop in gun deaths of 25% in the last couple of years. (8000 down to 6000) Gun sales have gone up 47% this year. Things are getting better.
Why is this a story?? This is not information the public needs to know...
Damn news people will report anything..
This is just another example of why handguns should be restricted and controlled. Only allowed at gun clubs and shooting ranges or something. There would be far less of this kind of thing, if people only had long-guns to use. No way this guy could have done all this, marching around with a rifle in his hands. At the very least, police would have been involved much sooner, as soon as someone spotted the rifle.
Concealable weapons are why these killers get so far before someone stops them, or they are able to complete their murderous missions. Its how Loughner made it all the way into that mall before anyone realized he was armed and on a murderous rampage.
Get handguns off the streets, save lives.
This is the easy, the cop-out explanation.
We are all too afraid to come right out and call it for what it (and he) was.
There is a culture that breeds this kind of behavior and every single person posting here knows it.
They are either too PC or too much in denial to say it.
And it isn't about guns.
we teach reading, writing, and sports at school. For kids sakes, regardless of how or what happens in your home, I wish all of us were required to take classes on how to deal with stress, how to problem solve and work out arguments with others. No one teaches us this. We watch our parents, TV and often act with our first reaction anger... How to be in a healthy love relationship ..keep your calm under pressure..when to ask for help . ..what are we showing them in our daily lives that can make or break them. Yes, when they grow up they are still responsible for their own actions but what can we teach them up to that point. Love to grandma and the baby
I agree. Conflict resolution should be a course all students get in high school.
You really think that it was just that poor Jovan couldn't deal with stress? Really? That he just needed a class to learn how to keep calm?
I tell my kids" when you grow up, If you don't get married till your in your 28 or 30.. dad and I will pay for your wedding and give you a bonus. I tell them they will avoid a lot of problems. Also NO h babies until your married until then protection if you cannot wait!!!
Gee whiz – what a novel approach!!! Marriage, commitment and THEN babies???
How uncool! How judgmental!
A piece of paper doesn't mean anything!
Remember???
How's all this working out for us after 30 years of experimenting? How's it working for the babies that the baby Daddy's make with multiple baby mamas who love the bump look, but don't need a commitment to actually RAISE that bump after it's born?
