Newly released video including a jailhouse interview reveal more insight into the mind of the late self-confessed serial killer Israel Keyes. KING's Chris Daniels reports.
ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- Confessed serial killer Israel Keyes admitted he enjoyed killing people, but couldn't or wouldn't give investigators a more meaningful answer when quizzed why he did it.
"There were just times, a couple of times, where we would try to get a why," said Anchorage Police officer Jeff Bell, who helped interrogate Keyes for hours.
"He would have this term, he would say, 'A lot of people ask why, and I would be, like, why not?'" Bell said.
Keyes confessed to killing eight people across the United States, but alluded to additional murders, FBI Special Agent Jolene Goeden and Bell told The Associated Press.
"Based on some of the things he told us, and some of the conversations we had with him, we believe the number is less than 12," Goeden said. "We don't know for sure. He's the only one who could have ultimately answered that."
They may never know the true number.
Keyes slit his wrist and strangled himself with bedding Sunday at the Anchorage Correctional Facility. He was facing a March trial on federal murder charges in the kidnapping and death of an 18-year-old Samantha Koenig, who was abducted from an Anchorage coffee stand Feb. 1.
He also wasn't going to stop. Authorities said he had weapons caches or body disposal kits stashed across the country.
One such disposal kit was found north of Anchorage. It included a shovel, plastic bags and bottles of Drano, which he told authorities would speed the decomposition of bodies.
A murder kit found in upstate New York had weapon parts, a silencer, ligatures, ammunition and garbage bags.
Keyes said other murder kits are hidden in Washington state, Wyoming, Texas and, investigators believe, somewhere in the Southwest, possibly Arizona.
Goeden and Bell conducted up to 40 hours of interviews with Keyes after his March arrest in Texas. During that time, Keyes confessed to killing Koenig, along with Bill and Lorraine Currier in Vermont, and five other people — although details for those victims were scarce.
The interviews also revealed Keyes' motivation, which was simple, Goeden and Bell said.
"He enjoyed it. He liked what he was doing," Goeden said. "He talked about getting a rush out of it, the adrenalin, the excitement out of it."
Keyes also liked seeing coverage of his crimes in the media, and he appeared to get a thrill out of talking about some of them with investigators, Goeden and Bell said.
His crimes started small with burglaries and thefts — until the urge escalated to murder.
Bell said Keyes told investigators the first violent crime he committed was a sexual assault in Oregon, in which he let the victim go.
"He planned on killing her but didn't," Bell said.
Keyes said the rape occurred sometime between 1996 and 1998 along the Deshutes River near Maupin, Ore., after he got the girl away from her friends. The girl was between the ages of 14 and 18, and would be in her late 20s or 30s now. No police reports were filed, and the FBI is seeking more information on the crime.
Of the five other murders Keyes confessed to, four were in Washington state and one occurred on the East Coast, with the body disposed of in New York.
In the case of the Curriers, authorities say Keyes flew from Alaska to Chicago on June 2, 2011, rented a car and drove almost 1,000 miles to Essex, Vt.
There, he carried out a "blitz" style attack on the Curriers' home, bound the couple and took them to an abandoned house. Bill Currier was shot, and his wife was sexually assaulted and strangled.
Keyes immediately returned to Alaska, and followed the case on his computer by monitoring Vermont media. The couple's bodies were never found after the house was demolished and taken to a landfill.
Leaving the area shortly after a murder was a familiar tactic for Keyes. After he abducted Koenig, he took her to a shed at his Anchorage home, sexually assaulted her and strangled her.
Keyes then left the next day for a two-week cruise, storing Koenig's body in the shed. Upon his return, he dismembered the body and disposed of it in a lake north of Anchorage. He was later arrested in Texas after using Koenig's debit card.
Koenig was his only known victim in Alaska. Goeden and Bell said he never explained why his broke his own rule of never killing anyone in the town where he lived because it's easier to be connected to such a killing.
The only mistake Keyes said he made was letting his rental car be photographed by an ATM when withdrawing money in Texas.
Unlike his earlier killings, the deaths of the Curriers and Koenig received a lot of news coverage.
"He was feeding off the media attention in the end," Bell said.
That wasn't the only change. His time between murders was growing shorter.
"He talked about that time period in between crimes, that over the last few years, that became quicker," Goeden said.
During their interviews, Keyes was willing to talk about the Koenig and Currier killings since he knew authorities had evidence against him.
"It was chilling to listen to him. He was clearly reliving it to a degree, and I think he enjoyed talking about it," Bell said of the Koenig and Currier deaths. But in the other cases, Keyes wasn't as forthcoming because he knew investigators had little on them.
Keyes, a construction contractor, told investigators that they knew him better than anyone, and that this was the first time he'd ever spoken about what he called his double life.
"A couple of times, he would kind of chuckle, tell us how weird it was to be talking about this," Bell said.
Even though he was talking to investigators, Keyes didn't want his name made public in any of the other investigations, especially the Curriers, because of the fallout of publicity. He threatened to withhold information if his name got out.
"If there was nobody else that he was concerned about, I think he wanted his story out there. He wanted people to know what he did," Goeden said. "What he was worried about is the impact that was going to have on the people that cared about him and were close to him."
Keyes will be buried Sunday in Washington state.

Note to everyone who would like to believe in the inherent nobility of mankind: Sometimes, the only reason for murder is "Because they were there."
Clearly this guy had a lot of problems. It's not really fair to compare him to mankind as a whole.
Well he has sentenced himself now so the understanding of his motives will never be clear.
'the understanding of his motives will never be clear'? are you kidding me....there is nothing to understand...it is what it is!..... WHACKJOB!!!
AB99 ::: Bless your heart but if one reads the news/watch TV news, your statement has very little truth !! Reality check ???
This person should have been tortured to death, slowlllllllllllllllly.
tdoc: lol. Yes, I may have to concede to you on that point.
Why on earth should any decent people be forced to lie in the same cemetery as this monster? dismember him and throw him in the garbage with some drano. Good thing my family members aren't buried where he will be. It wouldn't be happening.
AG99: GOD bless & Merry Christmas to you and yours !!!
Remember...the media loves nothing more than to sensationalize the negative. Have you ever seen the top news story focus on something positive? Thousands of good deeds go unnoticed each day...that's the inherent nobility of mankind.
BS!! They should chop his ass up and feed him to a pack of Wolves and then let Buzzards pick his bones clean!
I can see your sentiments, but that really wouldn't be fair to the wolves and buzzards, ... I mean why make them sick?
Kevin in Texas
Great minds think alike, at least the wildlife would benefit. What a sorry ass excuse for a human being.
Too bad he killed himself, we could have wired him up with 50 pounds of C4 and sent him into a Taliban training camp.............. BAH-BOOM!
Sounds like a few days of "Water boarding" would be very helpful, and as soon as they get all the info they need put a bullet in his lowlife head. Just an idea...
There have always been people around that have been killers.Who hide among the rest of us, just waiting to feed off the innocent. Cases in society where the sickos and mentally unbalanced prey and enjoy murdering others. No doubt people recall Jack the Ripper in England, who was never caught.
Yet we here in America have had our own famous serial killers. Some from earlier times now forgotten. Including H.H.Holmes, in the early 1890's Chicago. It is believed he actually killed between 29-100 victims. But some think Holmes possibly murdered upwards of 200 victims. Mostly blond women, but also young children and several men as well.
He apparently loved murdering people. Going so far as to building a castle in which to trap his victims in hidden rooms. Known as the murder castle, which he designed specifically for killing his victims. The bottom floor held businesses But the second floor served as his traps for murdering, as well as regular rooms for sleeping guests.
The tiny windowless rooms were well concealed unless one knew how to find them. Once captured in an air tight room, he would suffocate them with gas or burn them alive in a room lined with steel plates, drop bodies down chutes directly into the basement where he could torture them, stretching them, dissecting and cutting them up or experimenting on them. Then had lye baths to dissolve bodies. He even dug under the city street to expand his work areas. After being caught finally and confessing, he was hanged. But he did admit he enjoyed the killing for the thrill. It had lasted for four years and he got arrested, not for the murders, but for horse theft.
Clearly things haven't changed much.People will still murder for the pleasure of it, regardless of how modern we have become. It is not the majority of people who are choosing to do such things. Regardless of how much we see the negative in the news. That is the job of the news to report the negative. There are so many good people going about doing good deeds.People don't want to hear about that. It doesn't sell. Human nature is drawn to the horror, the awful we do to each other. It creates the illusion most people are mean, selfish and fighting each other. With over 348 million Americans in our country alone, that is hardly the case, let alone in the world of billions.
OR shoot him out of a cannon
oops too late, the piece of crap killed himself,,well maybe just drag his body through the streets "just for fun"
We have a few running loose! Bush went into Iraq, and Obama into Libya for similar reasons...."because we can". I guess the term "serial killer and president" can be used interchangeably!
What really annoys me about serial killers is they always go after the weak or innocent. Personally, I would welcome some that had the balls to take the risk and kill some of the scum in society like Dexter does. And before bashing me or writing that all killing is wrong consider for a moment that I don't care what you think and also believe the world is far over populated as it is.
Instead of burying this guy, they should just cremate him, and then throw the ashes in the nearest dumpster! There is no need to desecrate the soil with this filth! Why not?
And they are going to waste money on burying this piece of crapola? Just Deep Six him-- the fish are hungry.
That would be Plan B.
Confessions of a really sick, demented Serial Killer. Chilling story on a person running amuck the country killing for fun and pleasure. Sends chills up your spine.
The producers of Criminal Minds would call it, "simply entertaining!"
What's really sad is that he looks just like "the guy next door." I can only wonder how many more there are like him out there?
And "Why not?" That's a psycho/sociopath talking.
Lastly, what should we be looking for if he has hidden caches of murder kits? I realize that they could be anything/anywhere, but you never know what one might find. It might lead to discovering other crimes this monster committed, and therefore give closure to some who are missing a loved one.
Lastly, but not least, sincerest condolences to the families of the victims. Nothing can replace their loved ones, but at least they now know what happened. Please accept my deepest sympathies.
They should burn the bastard and scatter his ashes down the toilet under a judge's supervision to ascertain justice is done, just to make sure.
No monster of that caliber is worth a land slot.
agree but i could say the same about bushes, rockefellers etc.
Bushes and Rockefellers?
OK, so how bout you pay the five-trillion off for us?
This is why there is still a death penalty...some people, like this moron, just need to be dead. We The People need to step in!
K, I very much suspect that the death penalty WAS applied...by someone else in that jail.
Cassandra - Kind of what I have been thinking. I just hope he suffered as much if not more than his innocent victims.
Kinda have to go along with you and Cassandra. Those type of people do not usually off themselves. They are too full of themselves and malignant narcisssists for the most part; if not, they are psychopaths. Just be thankful the world is rid of him no matter how it happened. If he had lived, the public would have had to put up with a trial and defense attorneys painting a picture of him being the poor little abused boy growing up. Psychopaths I think are born that way.
@save the environment:
"No monster of that caliber is worth a land slot."
In light of the brutality committed by vicious serial killers of men, women, and children, I wholeheartedly agree with your completely justifiable proposals.
Maybe then, will such monsters STOP their slaughter of innocent, unsuspecting people.
Unfortunately, no. It's clear to me that this jackwagon's love of torture and murder was so powerful that it dictated his whole life. From the article above, it seems he enjoyed talking about it to the authorities; I might even guess he at least partially deliberately allowed himself to get caught (using the victim's ATM card was a supremely stupid move otherwise) so he could enjoy a little celebrity before he showed himself out. It would be nice to think that such creatures could be deterred, but I just don't think they will be. The best we can do is just get rid of them quickly...
Does anybody really believe that this guy once, just once, stopped and thought: Whoa...if I do this and they catch me I will get the death penalty? Even an assured death penalty, take him out and hang him next day. I don't think this creep would have spent 2 seconds even thinking about it...
Who cares if he thought about it? If you're expecting the death penalty to be a deterrent, you expect too much. Criminals rarely think about the consequences, they just do what they want regardless.
The death penalty is about one less. One less murdering, rapist, psychopath, pos in our midst.
save the environment said it perfectly scarey to think monsters like him are walking around whenever caught they should be exterminated asap just like the vermin they are no PC crap or lawyer nonsense common sense
Sometimes I wish the police would not give out so much information, such as listing the things the killer says he should not have done (like letting his car be photographed) that led to his capture. This only aids future criminals.
Yup Silver.
"His crimes started small with burglaries and thefts — until the urge escalated to murder."
We are making more of these daily, because we slap them on the hand and release them. The correct answer that he really would not say was "Because I could and had nothing to lose". No law will every stop a person that can boast that statement.
I have to admit that maybe they could have studied this guy to learn more about serial killers...but in the end, I am glad he's dead.
POS
These people are not "made" but are born this way. Something is broken in their heads. Either parts of their brain have not functioned ever or perhaps some parts stopped functioning. Neuroscience is learning more and more about these types of people. If they can't or won't learn how to exist in society without being criminals then they should be in prison regardless as to whether or not they are not put together right.
They are made...Bob Dillinger, Bonnie and Clyde. (educated in prison, great depression, public willing to support them, nothing to lose= no hesitation)
Charles Manson (right time for followers, open society and easy access to drugs to fuel it, fund it, burn the brain cells and rewire it, rejected by music industry like most talented artists (he was talented), nothing to lose=...)
Kelcy, we humans are all born with evil inclinations. We all have fallen nature. But what we do is our own choice. Some people simply chose to be evil. Did you see what he said? .... He said "WHY NOT?"
That does not sound like some "sick" person who does not know what he is doing! The problem with Freudian psychology is that it fails test of reality e. i. basic, proven fact! That's why we can spend all the fortune in the word trying to find cure of evil that's flourishing all around us, but never find it, because it is the issue of human heart, and what's in it!
Odds are that this murderer had a crappy childhood, too, with negligent or bad parents, along with his own mental or emotional problems. Not an excuse, but is usually the case.
It's not Freudian psychology and that comment just shows how little people know about modern neurological research and psychology. It is said that 1-2% of the population have sociopathic tendencies. They simply are not capable of feeling empathy. They do not understand what regular people feel. Research also shows that much of our personality is determined by genetics. People always think it is due to a bad childhood but they are unwittingly recognizing the fact that the reason a sociopathic criminal had a horrible childhood and was abused is because the parents share the same sociopathic tendencies. We don't like to think about this too hard because it basically means that people like this killer are probably not really responsible for their crimes in a very fundamental way. That conflicts with our notion of justice and punishment. I'm sure glad this man is not in Washington state anymore! I'm glad he's dead too.
You obviously don't understand that we, human beings are physical and spiritual beings. Like I said before, they can spend all their resources and the wealth of the whole word trying to find cure for evil that's flourishing all around us, but they will never find it, becaue they have gone to the wrong sources to find it, and heave excluded the Creator who made us, and who knows all the secrets of human hearts. Because there it is that the whole issue lies....it is the issue of human heart, and what's in it! If you look into your own heart not avoiding to face the truth, you'll see that the words said here testify of what is true!
The problem is, too many people run from facing the truth. They rather believe a lie!
Glen1484791:
'Bob' Dillinger? You must mean John Dillinger, notorious Depression-era bank robber. The only one we know Bob Dylanger ever strangled was his voice coach, so technically he doesn't qualify as a serial killer.
Beast. I'm glad he's dead. Just sorry he didn't suffer a little more before he died...
I think we should skin him alive. I mean, why not?
Because 1) he's already dead and 2) what does it do to a person to be the one doing the skinning? Do we want someone around who gets his jollies skinning people?
Never put off killing someone tomorrow that you can kill today friend..... Hang this guy slowly...........
Oops, too late. Guess he was too big a coward to face even the needle, much less what his victim's suffered. Coward.
He was worse than worthless but I would not say he was a coward because he killed himself. The State's needle would have been easier than what he did to himself.
Psychologists will probably indicate that he got the last laugh by killing himself--til the end he felt he had full control over the situation and in a way he was right.
Bram, I would have met you there and brought my favorite Wyoming knife. He was not a human and I'd have less problem with him than I do with beautiful bucks and bulls.
yes he isnt even worth reading about. Worthless piece of garbage
LOL@ "coward" Reminds me of a George Carlin bit. This guy was NOT a coward. He was a killer. He probably didn't have an ounce of empathy, guilt, or FEAR inside of him. I wouldn't say courageous since it has a positive connotation attached to it like he was doing some noble duty for us all. I'm just saying It takes a lot of balls to go around killing the hell out of a ton of people.
It is illogical to kill other people unless you are defending your own life, so clearly expecting a rationale answer from a clearly illogical person is absurd, people have severe mental illnesses in this country that leads them to savage acts that can't be explained, drug abuse is a huge problem as well which only exacerbates mental illness, these acts are very shocking and sad indeed for the victims.
But I am always surprised when we kill to punish killing, I wonder at what point is the logic or rational of us in society that can be clearly distinguished from those with socio/psychopath tendencies becomes skewed if our logical punishments are some what like the crime? Who gave us humans the right to decide when it is wrong and right to take another human life and if we have such right how do you explain to an irrational being that they are wrong for doing so in the first place?
I am just asking for dialogue, clearly, I don't support capitol punishment but I do support the right to defends one life if in immediate danger.
Actually, it's capital not capitol punishment.
Janice I get what you are saying about capital punishment I do. I also do not concur with the misquoted scripture an eye for an eye...as the correct quote would be an eye for the value of an eye. Very different meaning...
It seems to me often the cart is in front of the horse! with societies decision making. I do not understand it I really don't.
Hope you make some very true points. However, I am a bit confused by some of the judgemental responses that followed???
At the risk of getting into a huge debate, my thoughts on execution vs. murder is, one is punishment for one's actions while the other is a depraved act of a person that no longer fits into society.
I don't consider execution murder, it is the strongest punishment we can give out for the worst of mankind. We show mercy by making the execution as painless as possible and the criminals use that mercy against the system that punishes them..."to fat to find easy veins" and the like. I think the courts should punish minor crimes more, they lead to bigger crimes.
The motivation behind capital punishment is plain and simple it is not an eye for an eye but to deter others from following suit. If he did it and nothing happened then I can do it too.It is suggested that it has saved lives, not sure if it has but perhaps if it has it would well be worth it.
Sidione - in some translations of the Bible it does say "an eye for an eye". I'm a bit of an amateur theology student and I have never seen the translation you indicate. But the main point is, who the hell are you to correct someone else's interpretation of the bible? Grow up.
Ginny: get over it, spelling police. Teach in a classroom if you want to be productive. This is a forum for opinions, not English Spelling. OR grammar.
I don't give a flying f... what you want to blame it on, drugs, mental problems, bad upbringing, poor diet, etc., if they are doing those kind of crimes........they need to be DEAD. If he had tortured, raped, and or killed my mom, dad, brother, sister, any other family member, my neighbor, my pets, WHATEVER.......prison would have been his blissful retreat. Too bad NONE of his victims had a weapon handy that you bleeding heart liberals hate, because he probably wouldn't have been a repeat offender. A guy once told me "the death penalty may not deter crime.....BUT IT DAMN SURE STOPS REPEAT OFFENDERS !"
because telling them to stand in the corner or take a time out doesnt work!
serious? some people NEED to be dead like this asswipe!
The problem with capital punishment as it stands is that it costs more than just putting them in jail for life between appeals, trial costs, etc.
Truth be told I think a great more deal could be learned by using people like this guy for medical research on how the brain works, but too late for this particular crazy/evil.
now had the family of the victim had caught this guy before the cops did, and say.....put him through a wood chipper feet first, I wouldn't fault them for it. Because as much as I know revenge is murder as well, I can sympathize much more with their position.
"The problem with capital punishment as it stands is that it costs more than just putting them in jail for life between appeals, trial costs, etc"
Well then it's time to stop whining about that and start lobbying for a change in the laws regarding this ridiculous issue. There should be a statue of limitations when there "wasn't a shadow of a doubt" that convicted the person in the first place. The last few executions that I've read about though, the crimes were committed about 10 years prior to the sentence being carried out, so some states don't wait 20 or more years like in the past.
By the way, revenge...justice...who cares? They are just words.
It always gets me when they say that the "authorities" dont' have the motive "WHY" someone would do such hidious things.... People who do such things have denied their own souls and their humanity. They ENYOY doing evil.
Such person does not have to have any other motive. That's why crimes that desecrate human beings are an epidemic in our times and are done often to people who are in no way connected to the criminal, because those are driven by lusts, with which Satan fuels them...because through their deeds he gratifies his own lusts.
You see, that's what happens to those who reject God, and allow the vacuum that's left in them to be filled with whatever comes to their minds. Because every evil deed ever committed, every hideous crime... it all started with a thought. Then when thought was not rejected and tossed out, but accepted and allowed to grow and "mature", it translated itself to a deed.
There is no end of depravities a human being can fall into if he/ she leaves themselves open, and remove themselves from under the protection of God. And we see the evidence all around us of what is happening to this generation, which by it's own choice has rejected God, and has become void of His guidance. And as a result it is left out to it's own devices, with sure destination to fall into abyss, headlong first, where Satan waits for those who allowed him to lord over their lives.
This man killed himself. Not only that he has done Satan's work by desecrating other human beings, by abusing them, humiliating them and taking their lives, but he has also done it to his own life. And now he is cursed for eternity, without end.
O, what a tragedy for a human soul that was meant to know and love God, and was created to spend eternity with Him!
hope51, I had trouble reading your post, as the thoughts of the Inquisition, the Marian Persecutions, and the Taliban came to mind. Many of the perpetrators thought that they knew the mind of God and were doing His will with their tortures and sadistic killings.
Elk, you had trouble reading/understanding my post because the things that are in your own heart blinded you!
The things you are talking about in your response to my post are the evidence that your focus is amiss!
Elk,
God is not a religion. Human beings make religion and the god worshiped is an image of themselves.
Hope - for someone who spouts their own interpretation of Godly justice, you sure don't know much. I'm not sure where you get the whole "punished for eternity" thing. And your post was rambling and hard to follow. I can guarantee you I am a somewhat educated Christian myself, and I keep from judging others. It isn't up to you or any other human being to try and determine the perfect will of God. Who do you think you are??
Why don't you go proselytize on the streets where there are people who want and need to hear the Word? Oh wait, don't. You don't know what you're talking about. Carry on, I guess.
lol Hope keep hoping. do you hear voices in yur head?
I talked to ''God'' and he told me you were full of s..t!
Adela
Why do you lash out against what I wrote? A Christian who doesn't know that in order to be a Christian, one must know the Christ who is the Living Word of God. And the Christ you immagine to be a folower of, spoke more times of the Eternal Hel, then He did of Heaven.
It couldn't escape me to notice that you claim to be an "educated " Christian. Oh, dear Adela, let this be to you a clear message of a advice comming from a someone who cares: If you are educated by the most prestigious minds on this earth, and have credentials from best religious seminaries in the country... if they and you are not taught by the Spirit of God, the Paraclete, the Counselor and Teacher whom Christ Jesus promised to those who in humility of their hearts come to the cleansing fountain of Christ's blood offered for all mankind, and by accepting His sacrifice the divine exchange takes place and they are born anew from and by His Spirit... if they and you do not know Him, love Him and belong to Him in such way, then all your knowledge is just a head knowledge and is worth NOTHING in the sight of God, and you are blind toward Him. .
Christ Jesus said to those of Laodicea: "These things says the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of creation of God; I know your works that your are neither cold nor hot. I would that you were cord or hot. So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth. Because you say, I am rich and increased with goods, and have no need of nothing, and you know not that you are wretched, and miserable and poor and blind and naked. I counsel you yo buy of Me gold tried in the fire, that you may be rich; and white raiment that you may be clothed, and that the shame of your nakedness do not appear. And anoint your eyes with eye salve that you may see." Rev. 3:14-18
You made a shallow excuse, by which you also intended to discredit what I said, by saying that my post is "hard to follow". I never went to English speaking school. Athoutgh my grammar is not perfect, it is sufficient enough for you to understand the meaning of what's written in the post. But I think your problem is not with my grammar, nor with me. You've got a problem with God, and that's whom you have to deal with!
It's not Satan my dear Hope, it is genetics. 1-2% of the population are sociopaths by nature and can't change themselves. They feel no empathy. And if you believe in God, you have to believe God made them that way and allowed them to kill. It's all such bull pucky though. Let's just say you aren't interested in modern evidence-based science and you'd rather believe a fairy tail for which there is exactly no evidence for and never has been.
Doing terrible things isn't a denial of humanity. Our history is evidence that atrocities are a common occurrence. We are also capable of great acts of caring. Empathy can be turned up and down, like a volume knob, when it suits us - with some exceptions. Apparently, there is a 'psychopath' gene present in a segment of our population that increases the likelihood of antisocial behavior. Upbringing helps to determine whether such traits become activated. I would be interested to know if Keyes had this particular gene and what happened in his development.
Generally speaking, however, empathy is fickle. If you read through this vine, you will notice how true that is. My patience and empathy for religious zealots that post here can prove to be rather low. There is a small truth to what hope51 has said - the fact that we will never be able to rid "evil". Similarly, and much to my chagrin, it is unlikely that we will ever completely rid ourselves of superstitious nonsense.
human nature, sadly, is the only answer ...
Thank you, Mr. Keyes, for providing the happy ending. Hopefully others of your ilk will take notice and follow suit.
Lucky for us he broke his own rules of killing. Double lucky he didn’t drag this out in court.
Put his nuts in a vice and tighten it up a half turn every few days. Why not?
Because he's already dead?
Hey, the death penalty? And we say, why not?? This is exactly why I believe in it for people like this sick bastard.
Good riddance!
Saves the tax payer money when they do themselves in!
Suicide is suppose to be a sin, and aren't religious conservatives against sin?
Why have a trial? Just fry this egghead, kick him in a ditch and cover him with garbage!
He is dead.................lol read the article
Waylon: Too late for a trial anyway. He committed suicide and, to my knowledge, dead people aren't generally tried in a court of law. If there is an afterlife, his trial will occur there.
If Dexter or Gerard Butler from the movie Law Abiding Citizen ever needed a cellmate, it would be this guy.
I hope he enjoys hell, as much as he enjoyed killing those people. For that is were he is headed.
what happened to proofing an article before you print it?
well im sure in prison THEY will do you for fun. lets hope THEY kill him .
Keel, did you read all the article? He is already dead now.
Pain. Mental and physical. A great way to ensure he paid for his deeds before death.
You know there are people out here who would dismember this quy a little at a time and make it last. Why not?
Thank you for asking. I'd love to.
enjoy dismembering dead people perhaps we too have a problem??
Rocky,
We too do not have a problem. It's called an eye for an eye. I hope his grave is marked. Certainly just knowing where it is will lead people to destroy the site where he is buried. Forget the fact that it is illegal to do such, but many people are so angry by what he did, they are willing to do just about anything. He is burning in hell right now. Just where he needs to be. Not enough for the victims. Nothing will ever be enough to help with the families of the victims. And I hate it, but he is still getting recognition from all of us on this post even though he is gone. He loved the attention. Maybe we should just stop!!!
should just lay him on the road like roadkill let him dry up and blow away!
