A man wearing what appears to be a Mitt Romney mask robbed a Virginia bank yesterday -- the same bank hit by a robber in a Hillary Clinton mask two years ago.
But that's not the only reason the FBI is calling the holdup unusual.
The robbery at a Wells Fargo in Sterling was not the standard grab-and-go. The gun-wielding robber, wearing the mask and a Florida State sweatshirt, got money from one teller, but apparently that wasn't enough. He went teller to teller until he took from all five.
Police went to the Party City behind the bank to see if anyone bought a mask there Thursday.

Wells Fargo robbed me once on a double home loan deal and weren't even wearing masks.

Isn't Staples one of Romney's Bain companies. My friend who was laid off tried to get a job there the other day--they told her the pay was $7 an hour!!! No wonder social security and medicare programs are in trouble.

When President Obama walked into the Oval Office, he was greeted with 10 Trillion dollars in debt.
Significantly, and before Obama, the 10 Trillion dollars in debt was a result of 2 wars and the gilded being allowed to raid our treasury.
And Mr. Obama's $ 6,000,000,000,000 in debt was because of his "social engineered" programs.
Just wait, he is expected to add another $ 10,000,000,000,000 at the end of his 2nd term.
BTW: that $ 10,000,000,000,000 was from ALL PREVIOUS PRESIDENTS, not just ONE.

No there was a surplus of money in the treasury when Bush took office. Clinton left the country with no debt, the original 10 billion came from bush which did not account for either war, learn addition and history before trying to look smart lol

The mask is appropriate for the crime. Mittwit's has been robbing corporations for decades without the mask. The bank robber must have been a wanna be of Mittwit's record of robbing the retirement funds of the companies Baine Capital took over to line their pockets with the money of those employed at those companies they removed cash from and then drove into bankruptcy.

The Federal Government did and ultimately the people of this country did through taxes. The business practices of Mittwit and Baine Capital were not without cost to the Federal Government and the People of this country.

I was thinking the same thing. I doubt that excuse that someone was "wearing a mask that looked just like me" would work for the rest of us. Just another perk of being famous, I guess.
The police should still ask him where he was during the time of the crime, though, and if anyone could back up his story since we do have a positive ID. ;-)

How ironic. Mitt's company Bain Capital robbed people legally. And if Romney had been elected, he would have continued to try and rob Americans that weren't rich. Remember, on national television Romney was asked if it was fair for him to pay a smaller percentage in taxes than average Americans. He openly admitted, "Yes." How this man got as many votes as he did is testament to how out of touch the American Middle Class really is. Decent wage for everybody is not socialism. Our greatest economic times have proven that when the middle and lower classes do better, every one does better, even the richest Americans.
This could have been prevented if only they had installed a "gun free zone" sign on their door. then criminals would never have dared to go in there. that's the way it works ...right?

Remember the U.S. House of Representatives is out of town so often that some Congress persons may be trying for a second job. once campaign donations stop there's a lot of pressure in Congress to act. It's the economy I think.

This guy probably got the idea from that old 1990's movie, Point Break, about a bunch of surfers who were robbing banks while wearing masks of former Presidents such as Nixon. Keanu Reaves was the star of that movie, remember? Only difference is Romney never made it to be President.

I think there have been a few movies where the criminal rob a bank wearing some sort of political figure mask. Mostly Nixon.
