Police say three elderly Mennonite women were tied up and attacked with a stun gun during a violent home invasion near Lancaster, Pa.
The suspect posed as an insurance salesman to gain access into the Clay township home on Friday, according to investigators.
Police say the man raged against the women's faith in a hate-filled attack, ransacking the house, pouring chemicals on the floors and furniture.
The suspect wasn't done there. Authorities say at one point, he read passages from the women's Bible before vandalizing it, claiming that he himself was once a Mennonite.
He then fled with cash and other valuables.
The victims, between 84 and 90 years old, were found several hours later by a relative.
They remain hospitalized.

This is terrible and outrageous, and I hope and trust they will catch the bastard, but why is this national news?
Because EVERYTHING is national news.
Because it shows, with everything else, just how demonic and crazy Americans are getting. We're supposed to be "the example" and "the beacon", the Lady who says "I lift my lamp beside the golden door", but LOOK at what's going on around here. They're all POSSESSED, I say! Holy Cow.
Because they get to use the word "gun" in another headline.
Why do you read the article, click the comments section, type, then post, if it's not news to you?
Things that make ya go hmm.....
Most folks ignore news, tv, movies or events they don't like, but not you, eh?
I hope you get the help you need Steve.Look around there are excellent things happening everywhere.Good to see you being critical of the news, valuable use of your time.Get involved and make a difference.
Marican, we're supposed to be the example? The founders of this country took it with brute force killing the people who already inhabited it, then built this country up on the backs of slave labor, both african and chinese and we're supposed to be the example? Violence has always happened. Pick up a history book, hell any book some time. People have always been attacked for their religion or belief, or lack of belief. Ever hear of the spanish inquisition? The salem witch hunt? Anyone different was suspect and the worst school massacre in the US didn't happen friday it happened in 1927 and he used explosives. Example? Moral example? BS
F Walsh- Well done, well said.
F Walsh- Well done, well said.
F Walsh- Well done, well said.
Sorry for the multi post, newsvine was having spasms of some sort.
This is national news because it generates fear. People in fear don't think, they react and so, are easy to control.
This method was perfected in Puerto Rico where they give you incidents that happen in other nations as if they had happened in the island and keep on repeating the bunk until something else comes up to hammer the people with. So you are forced to stay nervous most of the time or to start ignoring the news, something that makes it easier for our corrupt politicians to take the nation apart.
Jibaro, I agree with you. Enough of the bullies(devil's avocates) entering our lives and disrupting it. Enough of us just nodding our heads in disagreement of what's going on. Time to get back to morals, responsibility for one's actions. This 'but what about me' mentallity needs to go away. Compare us (USA) now and when we were a stronger country. Think of what has been taken out of our lives? What needs to be brought back? There will always be evil. How do we fight back?
It is news because it gives people like F Walsh an excuse to spew hatred for the Founders and the early settlers, and given enough time and another thread, just about everyone and everything else. Sometimes all haters can do is hate.
You can't handle the truth,obviously.....F Walsh gave you the truth...time for you to become an adult and start reading American history, which reveals US as people with warts.....we are not a nation full of good guys.
They should hang the POS by his family jewels ! People have the right to believe in what ever religion they want to, I'm not religious but will back anyone that is. We are different that's why We are individuals.
With some of this stuff going on lately, I do wonder if there is some latent Satanism or demon worship involved, combined with this 'world ends on December 21st' garbage. For some of these things, where there is little or no apparent connection between the perpetrator and the victims or place and time where they committed their atrocities, it does seem as though they just picked out the most evil thing they could possibly contrive and proceeded to do it before killing themselves. If one was wanting to prove themselves to be 'worthy' of entering the supposed inner circle of hell, presumably these things would be the way to do it. Strangely, these losers always seem to think they can have some type of leadership position once they get where they hope to go...
We'll never know, I'm afraid. It doesn't sound like they're leaving letters or manifestos before they do thee things, and if Satanism or demon worship is behind it, it would seem they're keeping it between themselves and their master. But I have noted that black clothing and the 'goth' thing seem to be common elements in this, if that's any kind of indication. No mention of that in this latest incident with the elderly Mennonite women, but it was reported that religious difference was at the core of the attack.
Yes we should be the example. Maybe we're not but we should be. This is 2012 - not past history. As a free country that has become very prosperous, yes, we should be the example. Learn from the past but focus on the present and the future you want for us and the world. I think we are a nation of good guys but the media gives the bad guys all the attention.
Ah, that magic word 'hate'... We spew it around like bad breath. We hammer it, pound it, jam it at people til it too has absolutly no meaning.
To use capital letters in front of words, such as 'Founding Fathers' does not make the words or the subjects of the words holy, righteous, saintly, or sacred. Our founding fathers, those amazing MEN, were smart, innovative, and trying to get the hell away from rule by the English crown. But they were just men. They were not perfect. Some were lousy leaders, others lousy spokesmen, and still others would never have any public standing in modern America because of their not so Christian beliefs of polytheism or naturalism.
Like F Walsh said... read a book, any book, and it certainly not hate to say so, imo.

Thanks to NEWSVINE...it is now easy to identify the mentally unstable who should be denied guns.
Yes....I'm talking about you Vin1112
Time to ban "stun guns".
Maybe these "guns" will be included in the Progressive's "Gun Ban" legislation. Next will be knives, swords, toothpicks, pens....etc.
From reading the headline, I genuinely thought the story was going to be about a police officer tasering the elderly ladies.
Satan and the devil does not need to be involved in religious attacks. Religion itself has a bloody history of intolerance for all other beliefs contrary to the individual involved.
The night that the ancient library of Alexandria was destroyed, the pagan curator, a woman, was brutally dismembered and her remains scattered around the city while Christians and Jews sought out each other and others who did not believe as they did to kill them in a blood bath.
The Inquisition and many other historical examples show that Christian love is related to whether the victim is to be dammed or protected at that particular moment.
Religious persecution is the one constant throughout history as is ordained in the Hebrew Old Testament.
This coward is like so many others where the weak and vulnerable are targeted by insecure sociopaths.
Lazarus
They are considered to be dangerous weapons in many jurisdictions and require the same weapons licensing to carry as would a handgun, a switchblade knife, or any other dangerous or deadly weapon. The same penalties would apply if you're caught carrying a stun gun or Taser without the correct permit.
smoking and obesity kill more people every year than firearms. i would happily support a ban on smokers and fat people.
Thank you, F Walsh, for information about the worst school killings in U.S. history. I looked it up and found it horrific, that one individual would be so twisted and hate-filled to cause such pain and suffering to his family, his community, and his own animals.

If there is any good reason to come to Newsvine, it is it learn, and I thank you for the lessons. Paying respect with condolences is another. And finally, I guess, to vent, which I am guilty of from time to time; I do hope that my rants are worth the time for others to read.
My best wishes of peace to the women and their families.
@ Raidaz2010:
Knock it off guy.. This person has as much right (and perhaps more) than you do to post her comments. You are not only criticizing her post but also her beliefs. That's NOT up to you fella.
I read all the comments about banning guns, banning stun guns, banning everything dangerous.. won't work folks. You can buy the weapon of your choice, illegally, almost anywhere. Yes, even in Mennonite country.
Is there a solution? No, probably not.
It's not "HER." His name is Steve, the GUY I replied to. If one does not believe something should be a story, why go through several steps to comment about it?
I don't read many articles. Likewise, I don't comment on them to question the worthiness to being news. I suspect others do too.
Relax.
Because religious hatred apparently motivated the crime and religious hatread is a very dangerous thing!
It wasn't religous hatred. You dope. He used that as a cover.
When you say, "religious hatred" do you mean hatred from people who are religious?
I hope so.
Not to defend this person, but the hatred more than likely started from the religious people. Religion today from the righteous and the bible thumper's have grow that even everyday Christians are starting to feel in danger. Who do you think goes out and murders these doctors? It isn't the atheists!

It's the atheists that murder the babies at so called "Planned Parenthood" and atheists that murder children in Sandy Hook. It's the atheists that murder millions of Jews during the halocaust. Sure its the Atheists that corrupted the World. I mean Catholics rape their alter boys, Jews are waging war on Muslims, People of Faith attack People without Faith, Say if We don't believe we go to Hell....The list goes on and on.
Also saying "it was atheists that murdered...Holocaust" Is just incorrect as Hitler was Christian. EVERYONE is a sinner!!! If you did not sin, whats the point of Religion?!?!?!? If you lived by the Bible, this world would be the most boring, pathetic place to live in.... Admit it, NO ONE lives *BY* the Bible.... Worship your God how YOU want and I'll worship mine how I like, PERIOD!
It seems the Christian country of the United States, and the Hollier than Thou Israel are doing their share of killing people.
There are atheists that hate and theists that hate. I've seen both right here on the vine. You can argue over who hates more for the rest of your lives, but in the end you'll both be wrong. It's human nature.
Mike obviously you have never been around or met a Mennonite. They are the most gracious, generous and about the only group of "Christians" I truly have no reservations about. Never in my life have I met a more trustworthy, loyal and honest bunch in my life. And no, they do not go around preaching. They just live the way we are all supposed to do.
It's the atheists that murder the babies at so called "Planned Parenthood" and atheists that murder children in Sandy Hook. - I, for one, don't see a problem with someone making a choice to abort an unwanted fetus. It's been happening since the dawn of time with the murder of newborns and will not go away whether it's legal or illegal. The savings in tax money not having to raise unwanted children as wards of the state is nice and the sheer lack of adoptions cannot make up the difference. It's been religious nuts killing, raping and plundering the world since the beginning of time. Religion really doesn't seem to have any bearing other than to justify killing someone or a group. Don't use examples of the No True Scotsman argument, it's tiresome and ultimately, pointless.
It's the atheists that murder millions of Jews during the halocaust. - Hitler was did not practice a particular religion but most of his writings and speeches followed strict, fundamental Christian values. He preyed upon the traditionally Christian Germany by using the same Christian Values rhetoric you hear from religious leaders to this very day. The German soldiers that carried out these horrible acts were overwhelmingly Christian.
"Along with the fight for a purer morality we have taken upon ourselves the struggle against the decomposition of our religion. We have therefore taken up the struggle against the Godless movement, and not just with a few theoretical declarations; we have stamped it out. And above all we have dragged the priests out of the lowlands of the political party struggle and have brought them back into the church." - Adolf Hitler
It's the atheists that will only tolerate people who believe what they do. It's the atheists who have taken prayer out of public school; - Prayer should not be forced practice in a publicly run school. The students themselves may pray but, those that don't want to, shouldn't have to. Parents that seek religious teachings in a school, chose a private religious school. Athiest don't care if you practice religion but, don't force that upon them or a governmental entity that should be free of religion as the Founding Father's envisioned.
brought pornography accessible - Since the transfer and accessibility to porn began with caveman drawings and started to rise as soon the printing press capable of printing text and/or images was invented, that assessment is just silly.
Violent games and movies into Society and now want to blame those same Christian values that this country was founded on for the ills of their illogic and behaviour. - They said the same thing about books that featured sex, violence and whimsical fansy. That also was proven to be nonsensical rubbish. Gathered statistics have shown a significant downward trends of violence among teens and early 20s since video games became popular in the late 70's.
Love the Sinner but Hate the Sin - Written by someone that is clearly placing what they think are the ills of society upon Athiests. Words often uttered and rarely followed.
I AGREE with you Stone, there are many Mennonites that live in my area of rural TN and they are exactly as you have described them. I have had work done by them and it was of the best QUALITY of any I have ever had done, they are steps above any other local contractors. To speak to their actions and behaviors you are right on there too, they do conduct themselves in the manner JESUS described in the Bible that EVERY CHRISTIAN should behave. I can't say that I personally can agree with everyone of their beliefs but I also am not putting them down nor telling them they are wrong, nor any other religion that I do not believe to be TRUE WORSHIP of GOD in the way we are instructed in the New TESTAMENT by JESUS. No Atheists replies please, all you have the choice ( Given by GOD) to not believe in HIM but I personally DO NOT care to hear any of your "pitifully" unbelievable EXCUSES WHY YOU DON'T. I hope and pray that today I walk in the way I am instructed to by GOD through Jesus.
Mike-399184, Charles Woolard, Phil McKrackin – you all three show what is wrong with today. With all your hate you blame a group instead of the INDIVIDUALS….it is not the religion it is the INDIVIDUALS who just like YOU make INDIVIDUAL choices and it is the INDIVIDUAL who should be held responsible for his/her actions.
Today, I heard that the Westboro Baptist church crazies plan to disrupt the funerals of the victims in Newtown, Ct.....Where is the love that Christ teaches in this group?
I didn't blame anyone or any group. There was no hatred nor malice in my words. I suggest you go back and read them once again. I mearly pointed out the absurdity of a particular post that seeks to blame a group for the ills of society by showing some historical facts, statistics and logical arguments to the contrary of their points.
If logic, reasoning and historical study are the problems, I can't image the opposite, ignorance, being the answer.

How many of you grew up in a mennonite society? This man did. Until you lived his life you have no idea how he was treated as a child or what could have spurred his actions.
You seem to be making excuses for this behavior. Shame on you.
If a child was abused all of its life and then snapped one day and killed people that helped to abuse them in one way or another would you still blame the person who was abused?
It's not excuses I'm making. In this day and time people are going crazy(clinically, literally) and there are reasons for it. And we don't know everything about this situation or the man who commited this crime, before we pass judgement shouldn't we know more facts?
And 'shame on you' really? Who the hell says that anymore? I'm not five years old.
Just because people CALL themselves a certain group, doesn't make them that group.
As TruettCollins understands, not everyone in that "group", is the bad guy. it is the individual who chooses to be the murderer or rapist or holier than thou, just as an individual chooses to be a doctor or lawyer or fast food clerk.
People cannot continue to blame EVERYBODY else. It's time to take responsibility for your own actions and your own feelings. NO ONE is the exception. We are ALL the rule...in our own individual minds. YOU choose who you want to be. No one else can make that decision for you.
So hate if you choose to hate. But don't BLAME those you hate for your hate. It's not their fault.
The man SAID he did. As there is still no suspect in custody, and nothing is known about him except for what he claims and what he did. As he was a liar (passing himself off as an insurance agent) and an abusive thief, I wouldn't believe anything he said about his background. He may have even said he was a former Mennonite just to hurt the women more. Heck, for all we know, he's a worshiper of the Great Spaghetti Monster! (No offense, of course, to its followers.)
@Phil McKrackin:
Obviously you are a atheist and well versed in how to argue your hatred to make it look good. You use an overused all the old tried and trued (?) comments of a mealy mouth atheist to get your warped ideas across. You have a right to be a non-believer but you are making an a$$ of yourself by spouting off all those old too-much-used rhetoric statements. For me, I'll stay the Christian path and pity you poor jerks who avoid it. If You go off the path or purposely try to avoid it you are lost for eternity.
Here's my idea on religion.....
All this to-do about a God or no God. I find it so much easier going through life (I'm 82 years old now) believing that there was and is a God as I have been taught. A God who loves us all and who prepares a place for us after worldly death. If we live our life as he has instructed us he has promised that we will live in peace and happiness after that worldly death. If we stray from that path he has laid for us, but in the end we ask forgiveness we WILL be permitted to live in His heaven for eternity.
I believe my earthly life is easier for me if I believe in these promises. If they do not come to pass, what have I lost by following these paths. I have lost nothing of value here on earth and I have lived with love and peace while I was on this earth, always knowing (believing) in what I had to look forward to after death.
What does a non-believer have to look forward to after his time is up? NOTHING.. I pity him. He has lost very much. It was always there for him to take but he just ignored it. Too bad.
But, you know... I think God will still eventually take him into heaven If he asks for it. For our God is a forgiving God. And it costs absolutely nothing to be believer and if it is true that person has so very much to gain for his belief.
Why would anybody refuse to believe it there is so much to gain for eternity. And, if it is not true, what has one lost because he has believed?
'Nuff said. May God Bless each and every one of you, even if you don't believe in Him
I didn't say the man holds no responsibility for his actions or that he was treated badly, I was only saying you can't start claiming that religion had nothing to do with it. People have used religion for horrible actions as long as religion has been around. My problem was that everyone was jumping on the 'Mennonites are so peaceful and loving' bandwagon without really knowing what the hell actually goes on in their society.
What a surprisingly deranged action. I wonder what events caused him to be filled with such anger and what triggered this particular outburst. Saying he forgot to take his meds seems a little like a copout but this is weird.
Like I said, simply put, demon possession. We don't need to get complicated here, it's very simple.
yeah like the Florida flesh eating man who ate the homeless man's face off not too long ago.
This criminal found the most vulnerable among us,the elderly to commit a robbery. He ended that robbery with a hateful, vengeful attack on them and their home. When he is found, charged and sentenced the judge should give him the harshest sentence allowed by law.He is a danger to everybody. The Mennonites are a peaceful and forgiving people.I am hoping that these ladies will feel safe in their home once they return.
Just a cleaning lady, do you know from personal experience how they treat their children when no one is looking? Until you do, you can't claim that their way of life and religion had nothing to do with this.
Probably a drug addict acting out violently because these poor old ladies didn't have what he was searching for. Amazing how everyone seems to make it about religion instead of the perp & how we as society makes excuses for such behavior instead of making individual take responsibility for their illegal actions. Wouldn't be suprise if this monster has a police history.
When Mennonites break bad.
I guess we now know there is something worse than a reformed smoker or a reformed Catholic.
culheath
When Mennonites break bad.
I guess we now know there is something worse than a reformed smoker or a reformed Catholic
yeah an Atheist!
Mennonite Mafia.
It's stunning to think that people who have their religion beliefs are to be blamed for what happens to them. When this country had a stronger religious belief is when this country was stronger.
Tell that to the Salem "witches" or the Jonestown dead or African slaves or those who were marched on the Trail of Tears.
Talking about now. Get off the past already.
why is this national news???? the victims were between 84 and 90. they could not protect themselves any more then those poor children in CT. and everything is national news now.
Why did you read it? The headline was pretty clear..... yet you read it anyway and then come here to gripe.......
@drriversong
I do believe that @tairbear9 was referring to an early comment on "Why is this national news?"
They referenced the question and then gave an answer to the question.
These women were harming no one and certainly didn't deserve this. I hope they catch this sicko and get him the help he obviously needs.
@NODE4
"I hope they catch this sicko and get him the help he obviously needs." They could start by putting the stun gun in his A$$$$$$ to see how he likes using it in 3 defenseless women
node, where are you from, A Clockwork Orange? Poor, poor boy. He's a victim of the modern age? Give me five minutes to "help" him. Please.
@stonepip2: since you ask, I am originally from a small rural community that had both a Hutterite colony and a medium size Mennonite community nearby. In fact, several of my cousins were Mennonites. If you're familiar with their faith, then you know that they are not ones to advocate violent retaliation. I didn't use the phrase "poor boy" - that's your misinterpretation of my comment. Fortunately, no one was killed by this obviously disturbed individual and because of that, the strongest thing our laws permit is capture and containment in a prison or mental institution - I'm no professional but I advocate the latter where he is likely to be kept from harming anyone else for a longer period of time. The most important thing is to take action to keep this guy from doing even worse things. Macho posturing probably makes some people better but it doesn't address the root cause or help the victims.
Well, node I am a professional and it is a far cry from macho posturing. As for the Hutterite Brethren they and the Mafia are more alike than you know. Huttprano's if you will. Must be awesome, no taxes all the cash you'd want to take over and get to to vote besides. Always repub-they are pro life you know.
@stonepipe2: you have obviously taken one too many pulls on your own pipe and gotten lost in a dimension that not even experts in string theory could find. Equating (true) Hutterites and a criminal organization is reprehensible and only highlights your lack of knowledge on these maters and groups of people who mean no harm to anyone - note that Hutterites are conscientious objectors and aside from the folks they convinced to do a reality show (whom I somewhat question their validity - note that you never see the elders from the main colonies on camera), I've never seen them pick up a weapon or raise a hand to another human being. My point remains that that criminals belong behind bars .. and you belong back on your meds.
This coward definately has issues. I can envision turning these ladies loose on him with huge wooden spoons.
Looks like a job for Levi and his crew from "Amish Mafia"!
DT970The Mennonites broke away from the Amish. These ladies would not wish any harm on their attacker.
TheSolution? Gun control.
Shootstraight is another one of the crazy gun idiots that needs watched for he sounds as dangerous as the gun lover in Conn
Gun control u say. U can not control guns from these people. U can buy guns anywhere ; from a private owner or stolen, they are out there. I have close to 50 in my house and some loaded at all times. From pistols to ak-47. If u break into my house I better not be home because I will use these without blinking an eye. First time u kill u get a bad sickness in ur stomach (any one here a veteran), well that sickness doesn't happen to me anymore. And it isn't just people on drugs doing this,it's also just lazy pigs too. Yes I feel sorry for these people and others out there going thru the same thing "everyday".
No Clayton, that would be you who is the dangerous one.
.
That depends, Clayton! It depends on their defination of "gun control" ! Does it mean 1) Hitting what one aims at or 2) Government taking guns! If the latter is the case then you are correct in your assesment , if the former, you are very wrong!
you mean stun gun control???
There will always be weapons of some sort. The solution? Change the minds and hearts of this generation.
So far, you are among the few sane posters on here. You have it right.
LOL Riiight.
How do you change the mind of someone who is religious?
I mean, if events like 9/11, Waco, the systematic molestation of boys by the church, the Olympic Park Bombing, Vietnam, the Crusades, Westboro Baptist Church, etc. aren't enough. . .
Hit the nail right on the head Jack. If we're going to ban anything in this country we should start with organized religion. It has been responsible for far more senseless deaths over the centuries than a few idiots that weren't held enough as a baby. But just try and take their rights away and see how far you get; they're all for banning our right to self-defense but if you even bring up their right to force their delusional mind rotting ramblings on others then you're not American. Funny how that works huh?
It's the atheists that murder the babies at so called "Planned Parenthood" and atheists that murder children in Sandy Hook. It's the atheists that murder millions of Jews during the halocaust. Evil exists and uses many means to destroy innocent lives. even in religious realms to destroy. Doesn't mean the bible is falible. It means man's free will is flawed by sin. Example Judas Isacariot, definitley in a true church but he betrayed Christ for self gain and went to a real hell after hanging himself.
sherron - why do you think people would support the second amendment but not the first. Why do you believe that talking about religion and faith are the same thing as forcing things on others. I can choose whether or not to listen to your drivel and you can choose to listen or not to mine. Why do you believe is appropriate to take away the freedom of religion guaranteed in the Constitution? Why is the second amendment more important to you than the first?
@Glenn-2827821
Your god is useless....nothing but myth and fairy tales.
Absolutly, Outlaw guns and only outlaws will have guns.
Nice to see the usual bunch of immature, ignorant, and hate filled atheists on the board today...keep spewing your bile....and let everyone see you for exactly what you are. Likely it was one of your ilk who perpetrated this crime......
Sherron and Ethal:
As a Deist I wonder why you are so afraid, only fear could cause such bellicouse responses as yours, of an entity you claim NOT to believe in? While I have no belief in the Judeo Christian God, I also do not fear either him or those who do believe in him!
Here are some thoughts from those who founded this Nation;
"We have no Government armed in power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Our Constitution was made only for a religious and moral People. It is inadaquate for the Government of all others" John Adams
" We've staked the whole future of American civilization not upon the power of Government, far from it! We've staked the future of all our political institutions upon our capacity...to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God" James Madison
Feeling as you do why would you chose to remain in a country founded by such men on such principles?
ted
Till you can show me some proof your god exists I will consider it nothing but myth and fairy tales.
"Feeling as you do why would you chose to remain in a country founded by such men on such principles?"
Because the constitution says I can.
Perhaps Ethal, you failed to notice I'm a DEIST! I have NO belief in a "God"!
Of course you can! That's never in question! I simply wondered, why someone would WANT to stay in a place where people believed something you are so violently opposed to! There are many other places that embrace your ideaology!
It is obvious from some of these posts that people have no clue of the Mennonites and their beliefs. They do not push their beliefs on others. They have an interesting history starting with religious persecution which led them to America.A man named Eby(although it was spelled many different ways)founded the Mennonites. My great grandfathers family were Mennonites in Lancaster,Pennsylvania. When his mother died he and his brothers moved to California to start their own businesses. His father remarried and his step brothers inherited the farm. One of my commercial customers,a non profit founded by Mennonites, saw a need for drug, alcohol and mental healthcare. The Mennonites are not a cult and do not use their religion to help or heal their patients.
The animal who terrorized these old ladies should be hanged from the nearest tall tree, like they did in the days before "political correctness" laid its curse on the nation. Pathetci.
No. What we need are police officers doing their damn job. I've caught officers (up to eight at a time) sleeping in their patrol cars, every night for a week. Twice I called in to report it to the desk and nothing was done. The third time I called it in I asked for a supervisor and met him at the gate of the business where I was and walked him to a point where he could see them without being seen. When he got back to his car and drove around to where they were my heart swelled with pride at the chewing out he gave them. I don't know the final outcome of this but it seems to have worked because I never saw another sleeping there after that.
Wow, I thought Police Cruisers all had dark-tented windows and sunglasses, so you could/would not see them seeing you.
They must have let them down that day, for you to catch them sleeping, from a distance.
So true, you don't too many one handed people in the middle east, where you lose a hand for theft!
Looks like bleeding hearts on this forum think a slap on the wrist and "getting help" will change the evil in this monster to good. Fat chance, he probably has a record as long as your arm. Best treatment for him would be 20 years in max. security to ponder on his "sins." Maybe he can get "saved" there, but it's doubtful; most don't see the light even after years of confinement. Prison for some criminals is a way of life from time to time.
I would rather my heart bleed, than bull@!$%# come out of my mouth.
A former mennonite with a rap sheet as long as your arm?
Prison may help; after all God is in the joint. Do you realize how many thousands of prisoners say they found him in there? Wonder why he's doing time. My cousin was a convict in the federal prison system 25 years & he kept hearing God was in there, but he never did see him, even though some of the other convicts swore they found him there. Probably some old wives tale.
Wow clearshot; you're calling what's coming out of his mouth bull@!$%#? Show me one example of violent criminal getting a slap on the wrist and a "don't do that again" that didn't go on to do even more horrendous acts of violence against some innocent woman or child. These people can't be saved; not even by your imaginary friend in the clouds. There's a reason we built those maximum security prisons and it wasn't to hold a few pot heads or tax evaders. It was built for nut jobs like this guy; guys like Adam Lanza. Amazing man; you are so deluded by your own weak stomach that you can't even see the world for what it really is.
Certainly. They get their meals delivered to them, have color tv to watch their mentor Jerry Springer, their laundry done, and every once in a while get to have conjugal visits with their significant other. When they get released they find some nice family to terrorize and business to rob and keep doing it until they are caught again. Hanging and firing squad is the punishment these pukes deserve.
There you Clowns go do read crap! it was a stun-gun!
The cowardice of this intruder is grossly evident by his choice of victims;...it doesn't take bravery to confront three elderly and helpless women. Hopefully he will be found and subjected to some well earned abuse by his fellow inmates.
So, was it bath salts? meth? heroin? Poor women.
Probably one of those 47%ers.
Maybe he was smoking oregano. I used to keep baggies full of oregano in my condo & the women smoked it and got really wild. Oregano was great for bartering. I never have used pot, but those gals seemed to think that's what it was & never questioned it and said it was good stuff. I think he was on oregano.
The help he needs is being someone's bitch in a maximum security prison. Why is it we try and make excuses for this kind of behavior? Anytime someone does something like this we act like we're supposed to coddle the bastard and save him from some mental condition. Here's a news flash people; some of those violent criminals are just that; violent criminals. They're not psychotic, they're not suffering form some paranoid delusion. They know right from wrong and they just don't give a damn. They've never been made to face the consequences of their actions so they think they can just push people around and get away with it. And with all these shrinks spewing their psycho-babble and making the assailant look like the victim they're often right. It's time we get back to real justice in this country; hang the murderers and rapists and throw the rest in a hole. Stop treating prison inmates like VIP guests at a 5 star hotel.
Alright, bring in the Amish Mafia.
The Amish Mafia is a joke. Hire the Pagans Motorcycle Club. They publicly shoot real mobsters in the head.
Clayton, you're a moronic idiot. Shootstraight is attempting to make a valid point using sarcasm; he doesn't sound any more dangerous the little old ladies that were tazed. You're just another ignorant ,"Ban Guns", commie candy ass that actually believes anyone with a weapon is out to hurt people. My mother-in-law is getting pretty close to that age and I promise you if this guy had tried to do this to her he would have left in a body bag with a bullet in his ass and a few dog bites to his throat just for good measure. But I guess she needs to be watched too right?
and you need some srious counselling
greed at its best
torment hate kill now
and face the hell you made later
this world is but a seconds count but the next is an eternity
good luck in hell its unavoidable
Too bad one of them didn't have a gun and know how to use it.
That is exactly why I don't worry about punks like that. My dogs will distract them long enough for me to reach and get the gun. One shot-one kill. Hell, my dogs will tell me when they come through the gate and the only decision I have to make is shoot/don't shoot.
I am speechless. This crime against women of this age. Totally defenceless. This bastrard needs to be ......oh god I can think of so many things I would do to them. Give me 10 minutes in a closed room and I would teach them the ways of God. It would be a complete revelation. No mercy. My mom is of this age. If someone were to to do this...it would not have a good outcome for them. Pain for him/them would be a comfort. Grrrr. Pray to Jesus for their souls as they would need the protection of God Almighty. I must go now as the more I think of this the angrier I get.
The USA is going to hell in a hand basket.......why? Because God is slowly being removed so wake up! people
Even being a Deist I agree completely with you on this! It's sad, but it seems also to be true that a significant portion of us do the right things only from fear of the wrath of a supreme being!
I've, saddly played both parts here. In my youth I had little tolerance for differing viewpoints. I rarely, if ever, even attempted to try and understand, causing me to act in a very hateful way.
Once I matured enough, the memory of those hateful acts have, so far kept me trying to do the next right thing, as I see right!
what kind of person could do this. sounds like a hate crime to me.why aren't they screaming and hollering all over the state about it.somebody needs to stop this nut. by any means possible. theres such a turn to hatred any more. your not safe outside your home not safe inside your home. all they do is keep building more prisons to house them.how about excuting the capital cases. some inmates can never be reformed. it's like the world gone crazy any more. as the economy gets worse, crime will be rampant. people will need to protect themselves.by whatever means they know how.lets face it there are bad people out in the world who think nothing of destroying peoples lives.
We need to address the root of the problem(s), not the fruit of the problem(s).
I hope these ladies recover without further ado. I'm sure it was very frightening and painful.
To the person who attacked them--may you reap what you have sown.
Hopefully they will, with a significant amount of interest added!
It's about time for all of us to stop pontificating and work towards a real solution. The gun banners need to understand that guns are not going away. The N.R.A. ers need to understand that trying to arm damn near everyone is not going to happen and shouldn't. We need to solve the actual problems which lie within our society that cause/allow these things to happen. We need forced institutionalization in cases where people are a danger to themselves and others. People need to be involved and pay attention to those who are disturbed to this point, and do something about it. The police need to keep tabs on those with serious complaints against them for potentially dangerous anti social behavior. Parents need to be aware that their 'perfect' child has a problem. We all need to be aware of those around us and understand that sometimes bad things happen; be prepared. Mass killings are not done by sane, balanced people. There are warning signs long before. We need to do something before the horror. Proactive, not reactive.
I agree that we, as a society should make every effort to determine and correct, wherever possible, the causative factors for this egregious behavior. I very strongly disagree with your assertion of "forced institutionalization"! This pratice is, historically, always abused. It was abused in the not so distant past of this very Nation!
It wasn't that long ago that people, considered dangerous and untreatable were subjected to Lobotomys ! Forever destroying any chance for them to enjoy a healthy and productive life! Fear is a valuable and necessary emotion, kept within appropiate boundries, it should rarely be used as a primary deciding factor, especially in regard to other's liberty!
" No man is justified in doing evil on the grounds of expediency" Theodor Roosevelt
At this point we truly need to re-evaluate our laws or and law makers. How many more times are we going to let these people take over our lives. Stiff penalties is whats needed. Our judges need to up hold the law. There was an artical a few years ago in the Lawrence Eagle Tribune about how a police officer arrested the same person 8 times in one day. He went before the judge and he let him go each time. We are wasting police officers time our money.
