Felipe Alex Torrealba was among the U.S. Marshals' 15 most wanted fugitives.
One of the U.S. Marshals Service's 15 most wanted fugitives was arrested Thursday in Fort Myers, Fla., authorities said.
Murder suspect Felipe Alex Torrealba was being transported to the Broward County Jail Thursday night, according to U.S. Marshals Service spokesman Barry Golden.
Earlier this year, the Broward Sheriff's Office described Torrealba as a suspect in the murder of Kris Smalls, 42, of Weston, Fla., who was found dead in his SUV in March a week after he was reported missing.
Two handguns, about $15,000 in cash, a pair of binoculars and a wig were found inside the two-story townhouse where Torrealba was arrested, the U.S. Marshals Service said in a statement.

A rental vehicle with two different Texas license plates, which was parked outside the townhouse, is believed to be the vehicle that Torrealba used to elude law enforcement, the agency said.
Torrealba's attorney, Jim Lewis, said he has not heard from his client since February.

"These are some very serious allegations, and when he's returned here to Broward County I hope to sit down and talk with him, and get to the bottom of them, and find out what the truth is," Lewis said.
Torrealba was also wanted in connection with a January incident in which he was shot in the ear by a Sweetwater Police officer as he fled a traffic stop.

The links provided in the article show that he was born in Venezuela. Whether or not he became a citizen or when / where he entered the United States was not mentioned in anything that I looked up on the creep.

Legal citizens, all. Yeah, it'd be nice to know his citizen's status. If illegal, at least when these folks get caught, there's still justice to face. Wouldn't be surprised if the libs somehow try to side step even that. In a sense this already exists. Many of the third world hell holes from which these possible criminals come don't have the death penalty, and this has been used as part of a defense strategy. Lawyer here. I am so sorry to hear that the Constitutional requirements of due process, civil rights, and presumption of innocence are so upsetting for you. There are many nations I can recommend that you might enjoy better, where people are sentenced without any sort of trial, rights or adequate representation.

It's definitely a serious one no doubt, and the only real solace that we concerned and caring citizens can get out of it is the fact of knowing that in prison THE #1 most despised SOB by all other inmates is the low life scum of the earth child molester, and that what our panty waist cry baby liberal gov fails to do as far as punishment is concerned will definitely be taken care of by the rest of the prison population.
