Subscribe to RSSPolice in East Hartford, Conn., have arrested a man accused of videotaping women in restrooms at his place of work and his church.
According to police, Darrel Lewis admitted to putting two video cameras in the women's restroom at Peening Technologies. Lewis is employed as a process engineer at the company, which is at 8 Eastern Park Road in East Hartford.
Lewis also admitted to putting a camera in the women's restroom at his church, the Faith Family Church in Glastonbury, police said. One of his victims at the church was an 11-year-old girl, according to police. Lewis began placing the camera in the church bathroom in 2009, police said.
In all, nine victims were captured on video, according to police.
Investigators said Lewis also told them he put a camera in the women's restroom in a Tim Hortons cafe in Rocky Hill when he worked there.

Pedophilia is sexual attraction to sexually immature people, there's no evidence of that yet, despite the fact that an 11 year old was caught on the camera. Just because something is popular on the internet and men like it, doesn't make it not perverted or demented. It's a violation of someones privacy and it's against the law. It may be a typical female response, but it is the correct response. It should bother you that some guy thinks it's ok to film and/or check out random women being violated in this manner. These women, that could be your mother, sister, wife or daughter, have not given their consent to this men or guys on the internet. Liking something doesn't make it right. And, if you're willing to violate someone's privacy in this manner, you are capable of anything in my opinion. No different than a peeping tom, hiding in the dark staring into someone's home. These crimes escalate. I work with LEO and escalating behavior isn't unusual. She isn't paranoid, you have your head in the sand.
Back when that poor female sportscaster was illegally filmed and her image was put online, I felt so terrible for her. And I felt nothing but disgust for the men that thought it was ok to view the image, as if she hadn't been violated enough.

I do not have my head in the sand. These crimes might escalate, but we don't prosecute people for what they *might* do. We prosecute them for what they've done. Working with law enforcement, I would think you'd know the difference.
He did not put it the video he took on the internet...at least the article makes no mention of this. So creating a relationship between these two incidents is just you imaging the worst, not what was actually done.

Not everyone who goes to church is a Christian and Christians live according to the New Testament, which is based on love and forgiveness as taught by Christ, not the Old Testament which is a history of the Jewish people and a God of revenge and violence (according to the writers which hopefully is not the truth). There is a huge difference between saying you are a Christian and actually being a Christian so please don't blanket condemn Christians and people of faith on the basis of someone who SAYS he is a Christian and lives an unChristian life.
