Casey Anthony files for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in Florida

After a court acquitted her of murder charges, Casey Anthony is filing for bankruptcy, saying she's only worth $1,100 and still owes close to $800,000 to her lawyers and law enforcement officials.

Anthony owes about $792,000 -- most of it to her defense attorney, according to a Chapter 7 petition filed Friday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court, The Associated Press reported.

She also faces three civil lawsuits stemming from the disappearance of her daughter, Caylee Marie,  the Orlando Sentinel reported. The 2-year-old girl was reported missing in July 2008 and her body was found that December near the home of Casey Anthony's parents in the Orlando area.

Anthony was found not guilty of murder in July 2011 but was convicted of lying about the child's disappearance. She was sentenced to time served, and on Friday an appeals court struck down two of the lying convictions.

Anthony claimed that a babysitter had kidnapped Caylee, and a woman with the same name is suing for defamation, as is the former meter reader who found the body -- he says Anthony's attorneys damaged him by painting him as a possible killer.

The third suit is by Texas EquuSearch, a search and rescue organization, which says it spent more than $100,000 searching for Caylee.

Anthony's bankruptcy filing said she had only $1,084; here are her main debts, according to the Sentinel report:

  • About $500,000 to defense attorney Jose Baez
  • $145,660.21: Orange County Sheriff's Office
  • $68,540: Internal Revenue Service
  • $61,505: Florida Department of Law Enforcement
  • $10,283.90: to the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation

Not a shred of hard evidence presented during the trial.

It was never even proved that the child's death was actually a murder.

And all this hatred and rancor...

Someone is very sick that's for sure.

Dear news outlets everywhere: Please stop wasting bandwidth and space on this creature! She feeds on attention, and it doesn't matter to her if it's good or bad; a malignant narcissist is unable to make that distinction.

Remember her daughter's name, but ignore the biological "mother" (and I use the term loosely) completely. She deserves to fade away into complete obscurity; that will be more punishment for her than any sane person could imagine.

JP Patches...according to the Appelate Court of Florida the charges & convictions of lying to police was considered "double jeopardy" because the statements (lies) were told during the same statement she gave. Idk? My understanding, is again, it's our Constitution at work...but this skank shouldn't get any breaks!

Just like with OJ, none of you attended the trial, heard and saw the evidence and avoided media coverage of the trial

Jon Garrett, evidently you're as sick as she is. No we all were not at the trial but in Anthony's case there was duct tape @ the residence that taped the baby's mouth and nose shut. Not to mention the dad noticed the witch's trunk smelling like body decay. Also the cadaver dog smelled decay coming from the trunk. What mother would go get a tatoo saying (life is beautiful) and party for a whole month prior to reporting her baby missing. Any other parent would be sick with worry if their child was missing. Come on man you're just as sick as she is or on drugs one.

And by not buying any books or movies you're screwing them even worse. Any money she made from them would almost certainly be seized to pay the upcoming judgements she'll have. So without book proceeds, her bankruptcy prevents a whole lot of money being returned to where it belongs. The taxpayers.

You do realize that by calling him sick because he believes in the results of our judicial system, it's you who actually has the problem. After a long and annoying trial, a jury of us found her not guilty of killing her daughter. Whether you agree with it or not, it's our justice system and you either respect the rule of law or find another country whose system will get you the results you want.

I see there are still a few bleeding hearts here (bobbygordon6909, Jon Garrett) defending this woman. It's because of people like you that this kind of trash walks free. When she lied and deceived the police that sealed her fate as far as I am concerned. Maybe one of you bleeding hearts would like to marry her and raise some kids together. Remember though not to leave her to watch the kids alone.

And I see someone who is still pissing and moaning over not getting the verdict they wanted. Feel free to head over to Iran. There you can join up with the lynch mobs who sit outside courtrooms waiting to hang people whose verdicts they didn't like either.

I'm not defending this woman. I have idea if she is innocent or guilty. But what I do defend is American jurisprudence. She was arrested, charged, tried and then exonerated and that should be where it ends. You need to move on.

It is amazing she is not in jail, considering police found searches done on Casey's computer the day Caylee disappeared for "fool-proof suffocation methods" not to mention the fact that 4 days later, Casey was partying it up as a contestant in a "hot body" contest then get a tattoo later in the month that said, "Wonderful Life." None of these are the actions of someone suffering from the loss of a loved one. They are the actions, though, of someone who got rid of a perceived nuisance in their life and are celebrating. Many of the jury members have come forward to state they misunderstood their job. They all thought that Casey was guilty of murder, but they thought because the prosecution couldn't prove how the murder was committed, that they couldn't find her guilty of murder.

To all you naysayers about the Court System in Florida.....Just a few thoughts:

Prosecutors in Florida ( and everywhere else) really need to stop taking Creative Writing Courses in College and stop watching reruns of Fractured Fairytales from the Rocky & Bullwinkle Show....Because they keep coming up with some doozies.... I watched the Casey Anthony trial and read the "Charging Documents" leveled against George Zimmerman....

In the former, Prosecutors had to prove beyond a Reasonable Doubt that Casey Anthony committed the Crime as their theory said she did...The Jury found the evidence did not match the FairyTale....Every clear thinking person knows Casey was responsible for the death of her child, whether by accident or intentionally....The Jury however could ONLY go by what was presented at Trial.

In the latter, I do believe that Special Persecutor Angela Corey, took a leap too far into the "racial profiling" basis for charging Zimmerman in a highly politically motivated prosecution. If the case even gets beyond the " Stand Your Ground" hearing, this Jury will find more than enough Reasonable Doubt about the Tall Tale Corey spun...

All of you, who seem to think all of the damning evidence was presented and that she was found not guilty (pronounced "innocent") in spite of it, need to understand something that even a child can understand....once you commit a crime, you are already guilty of committing that crime!! Just because there was no eyewitness to this particular crime, and no DNA evidence linking Casey Anthony to the death of her child, you cannot overlook the circumstantial evidence here. The old adage "if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck....it's a duck" seems to fit here. The police forensics teams and the prosecution really dropped the ball in not getting the evidence needed to convict this poor excuse for a human. But just because they didn't find the evidence, doesn't mean it's not out there to find.

And, just because she was found not guilty of murder by 12 people bound in their decision by judicial standards, doesn't mean she didn't kill her daughter, or at the very least, have her killed. The one bit of solace I take from this is the fact that, when Casey dies, and when she stands to face her daughter in the hereafter, I hope the remorse will stay with her for eternity!

Time for her to do the "book circuit", or talk show interviews; she could make a small fortune, and at the same time, garner more hate! A real "love/hate" relationship with her less than adoring public. Kidding aside, I suspect that there may be some legal clause preventing her from making any cash on her ordeal...and I'd concur.

The proceeds after that would go off the chart. As a taxpayer I would pay an extra levy to make up for her tax bill so she starved for life.

a lot of people on here making big assumptions without knowing squat about the actual trial, criminal law, bankruptcy law or really anything else...

Her father got caught lying outright about the case.... her mother got caught similarly... she was a very detached Mom... and circumstantial is just that... what's clear is that Caylee died... that the entire family lied about details around it... that Casey flipped out when it happened... and they are a very odd family....

looking at all the court documents... the prosecution was particularly lazy and didn't really prove anything... they went to court and basically said: 'she's not acting right, and we know she did something wrong, so put her in jail for life'

Her father was an out of work cop interviewing for jobs at the time.. Her mother was a really poor grand mother who didn't pay much attention to Caylee when watching her... and they had left the ladder to the swimming pool up for Caylee to climb multiple times and she had actually fallen in the pool unattended and been rescued before.

The only theory I've seen that fits the facts is: Caylee drowns in the pool when her idiot grandmother was watching her that day. Cop Dad got called and came home to crime scene when he was desperately looking for a job as a cop (major problem for finding a job)... Being a genuis cop, He decides to fake a kidnapping and strong arms the family into cooperating. Casey is already off the deep end and gets pressed heavily by police over the suspicious circumstances, so in a typical kid / young adult way, starts lying trying to cover up the whole family involvement.

Remember all that hatred between those family members? If you remember the Dad and Mom testimony / statements... you can see easily how that theory fits....

Really hard to imagine Casey outright killing her little girl in such a convoluted and difficult way... really easy to believe a cop tried to cover up his wifes stupidity to save his career when on the edge of bankruptcy and his daughter immaturely lied a lot.

In any event, the whole family belongs in jail for conspiracy at least.... but is Casey the POS murdering monster that deserves all the things you people are saying here? I don't see it and think you all are making big assumptions without knowing anything about it.

oldhamletman...............I agree with much of your summation. I was not at that trial to hear and see what evidence was presented and how casey responded. Much of how a jury passes a verdict is based on the way the defendent responds to evidence whenit is presented. I might also add if your summation is acurate perhaps the father placed the child in her trunk and Casey may not have known. That would explain the night out partying and the tatoo because she was unaware at the time.

I am not defending this young woman because something is wrong with the whole picture but she just might not be the one who should have been on trial for this homocide.

This was a business move, her attorney will make plenty of money off this case and he will also use this bankruptcy as a tax write-off for the money that he will make. On the other hand, her bankruptcy should have some kind of stipulations that any money she does make off this goes toward the payment of her court bill so the tax payer does not flip the bill.

Avenger

oh, if that theory is true... I think Casey and the whole family knew and they all belong in jail....

the key point being: while Casey was incredibly immature, and got bullied by a cop father, and made the mistake of trusting her mother with Caylee (repeatedly)... there isn't any significant evidence that she murdered her toddler daughter in cold blood / is the scum of the earth etc.

people are very quick to think they know everything about these media hyped criminal cases, and when you look at it... and dig... they know almost zero actual facts and are just another sheep...

in any event... the evidence looks as if she didn't do it, the State didn't prove it, they didn't have any direct evidence, they didn't dig at the father and mother enough, they let themselves get biased by media garbage... and this little girl is dead and nobody is even close to knowing what actually happened

Really, dude, you need to just shut up because you have no clue about what you are talking about. If you did, you would know that someone can be convicted on circumstantial evidence, provided there is enough circumstantial evidence to warrant a conviction. This is not my opinion, BTW, this is right from Vincent Bugliosi, the prosecutor in the Manson case. There was ample circumstantial evidence to lock this skank up for life. The Like the OJ Simpson case, the prosecutors bungled it very badly!

Anthony needs to be locked up in a cell with OJ Simpson and the two of them can regale each other with stories about how they didn't do it.

It boils down to basic law,
unless you can PROVE without a shadow of a doubt that someone did a crime you can't claim they definitely did it, no matter what you may THING about them committing crime.
Even if there is possibility of them NOT doing the crime even though you may not believe it, there is still doubt. Reasonable doubt says, in this case, no one saw it, and a theory stands she may not have. No one can PROVE it one way or the other... so legally she just can not be declared guilty. That's the way the system is designed.

The advantage to defense of a jury, if you can offer any doubt you did something, you can get off.

I think the issue is the bankruptcy. Fortunately, laws prohibit certain debts to be dismissed in the bankruptcy court. These will be any amounts owed to any court (state and federal) including any IRS payments owed. This is not any consolation for a crime that was committed and for which most of know she is guilty of. We will see her make headlines and we do not deserve to see her name/face in any public print. It does not console us to knowing that an innocent little girl died because of her..

What is amazing to me is that none of you have objected to the fact that it cost almost $786,000 in legal and court fees for Ms. Anthony to defend herself. Irrespective of your opinion of her, it should not cost that much to defend yourself.

Ask yourselves this: If you were charged with a crime that you did not commit, should you have to lose everything you have and file bankruptcy to defend yourself? How many of you have over $750,000 that you could spend to defend yourself against a legal action? I find that concept more frightening than the fact that she might have been guilty and was set free.

She was acquitted., apparently that means nothing to most of you put your personal feelings above the law.

Just like with OJ, none of you attended the trial, heard and saw the evidence and avoided media coverage of the trial

I've always said that nobody hates American freedom more than Americans."

OH dear silly Jon. I watched every minute of the trail. Did you?

She was found no guilty and I'm sorry but I think she is. Just because one num skull believed the defense doesn't make here innocent not guilty maybe innocent never! Just because you "get off" ddoesn't mean you didn't do the crime.

For those who think Anthony is innocent, why did it take over 3 weeks to report little Caylee missing.

That is a "Mother"?---She certainly is innocent, innocent of being a deviant sicko, and a killer--

This murder Case will always stand out like the OJ Trial. It is absurd, that neither one (OJ/Anthony) were convicted of the actual murders. Don't tell most Americans to forget about a tortuous child killer.

Chris from Yucapia, do you have any clue what a book or movie deal would be worth? She owes less than 1 million, her signing bonus for either deal in todays market would likely be over 5 million. The proceeds after that would go off the chart. As a taxpayer I would pay an extra levy to make up for her tax bill so she starved for life.

Use your brain Chris, unless you like to coddle fellow inmates..........

It's pathetic that you've got to make the claim i'm either brainless or I coddle inmates simply because I state a position you don't agree with. It's a sign of a weak mind, so you really should refrain from commenting much.

It doesn't much brain power to think back to the OJ situation. Same verdict yet Is OJ making any money off the book and movie deals? Nope. Not a cent. Every penny goes to pay off the wrongful death lawsuit by Goldman's parents. $30 million if I remember correctly. All it takes is one judge to declare that she will not profit from the case.

And while she may only owe $800,000 or so atm, the nanny's defamation lawsuit has yet to happen. And even if she manages to complete the bankruptcy after the defamation trial, any damages she is forced to pay will not be discharged. If by some miracle she does get off on the the nanny defamation, it would actually be in her best interests for her parents to sue her as well for the same thing. Any money she makes within the 20 years following the judgement will go towards paying that debt. Feel free to look it up yourself.

$68,000 to the IRS, sounds like tax evasion to me. There are lots of criminals convicted of tax evasion in jail, she may have beat the murder conviction, but she should spend 40 years on tax evasion charges. I'm glad she took her lawyer, $500,000 should make her think twice about defending another murderer.

I too watched every second of her trial, and while I believe she had something to do with her daughters death, the prosecution didn't present a case proving anything. They were completely out lawyered by Baez. I'm not a lawyer but this is also the opinion of three lawyers I know, including my father in law who is an arch conservative Faux news watcher.

It's not like this brainless bimbo had anything to begin with! As for what she owes her defense team, that is her problem that she is now trying to make the taxpayers responsible for. The defense lawyers knew she had nothing and took her case anyway so I have absolutely no sympathy for her or her lawyers!

I would never presume to know what happened, because I wasn't there. I personally feel that it was Casey's father that killed Caylee. I believe he molested both of them and scared Casey into silence. If you look at it through the eyes of a incest victim it starts to make sense. Fear ...

On another note ... 90% of you are taking your information from Nancy Grace! She is guilty of using Caylee's death to improve her ratings and her standing on the network. She was found guilty by the public long before she ever had a chance of a trial.

For as much as some of you like to play prosecutor, judge, jury, and executioner; she was found not guilty by a jury of her peers who sat and listened to hours upon hours of testimony, and saw first hand, the evidence that was presented by the prosecution.

I have to give the benefit of the doubt to that jury. They were there firsthand. The rest of us only know what we know through the media. Nine times out of ten that's worth $#!+.

A bankruptcy such as this, after defending ones-self from a capital crime accusation, is very common. Don't think that it can't, or wouldn't-ever happen to any one of you. It could, and it does happen to nice people, all the time.

All I can say is; judge not, lest ye' be judged. The jury found reason not to convict her. Whatever it was, they were there, they heard the evidence. Not one of us here can say that.

It amazes me that people still don't comprehend the meaning of the term "beyond a REASONABLE doubt" NOT "beyond a SHADOW of doubt"! If every jury relied on"beyond a shadow of doubt" then no one would ever be convicted. There have been many found guilty with considerably less circumstantial evidience than in this case.

Scott Peterson immediately comes to mind. The difference was the jury. The Peterson jurors were obviously able to "connect the dots" and make an intelligent decision based on circumstantial evidence. The Anthony jurors apparently needed it proved beyond a "shadow" of doubt. I thought the prosecution did a great job with what they had to work with and with Casy Anthony constantly lying and sending them on wild goose chases. Not very intelligent jurors in my opinion. The system did not work this time. She got away with murder just as OJ did.

Tara ====== The jury did not find her innocent. They found that the evidence presented did not prove her guilty. This is a very different thing.

Bobbygordon @ #1.4 ======== You're right , someone is sick , and it's you for having no compassion for a little girl that was murdered by the one she innocently trusted the most. The totality of the evidence , both that presented , and that that has come out later , e.g., the computer search missed by the state for suffocation methods , demonstrate to any rational observer her guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

Sorry Kathy Brown the lawyer did it because that was his duty. He had a sworn duty to give her the best defense he could within the bounds of the law. He did his job. His job is not to prejudge his client. She enjoyed the same rights as everyone else. There was a presumption of innocence for her just like anyone else. Do I think she did it? Yes but the jury listened to the evidence and said the State FAILED to prove her guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

It appears that there is nobody interested in paying her to go on the talk show circuit. She is still in need of some serious psychiatric counseling.I guess she'd better get some job skills and seek employment because you don't mess with the IRS.

Do you people understand what you are saying? Who are all of you to judge her for something you know nothing about. I don't care if she is guilty or not, but the most important thing she needs now is support, not all this hatred. 100 percent of you dont even know her personally. I myself hope that this great debt is lifted and i also hope she can find peace somewhere, even though I know tthat you monsters wont give it to her. You guys are always talking about world peace and crap, in order to get that you have to start with forgiveness.

No matter what, she is a bottom feeder. Actully i think even the bottom feeders, feed on her. So, for all the people that are saying " blame the lawyer, blame the the court system. It might be time to STFU. She is worthless. She's just taking up space, the air we breath. I with she would get off our earth. She deserve nothing. Because she is nothing. Nothing plus nothing = Casey Anthony, baby killer. I wonder what lie she'll tell the gate keeper up above. Any way you look at it she will have to practice being in extreme heat. So, that's my thought and only mine. And i feel fine saying it...........HA HA HA

(or insert your title idea here________), and makes a lot more than the $792 thousand owed him. BTW, I think she did it , but she got away with it. We have really no choice but to move on. God rest Calees soul. Any other title ideas?

I think you are confusing this with Octo-Mom [who filed for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy last year and was denied] Octo-Mom has racked up the bills on her 14 kids. Casey Anthony owes money on court costs.

Personally, I'm sick and tired of hearing about this woman. I think many would agree that she just needs to crawl under a rock and stay there and news sites need to stop reporting her every move.
Unless it's a report about her being found dead - suicide/accidental death, thank you, I don't condone murder, even the murder of a baby killer - any other 'news' about her can go under the radar for all I care.

Lets see what happens with the other lawsuits before she can start with the bankruptcy. It seems like she runs under the radar gun every time. She should be working and paying her debt. @wolfhound27 and Kathy's posts about paychecks and Casey working...seriously do you actually believe this woman will hold a job in order to GET a paycheck? It's a serious question not meant to be critical. With her upcoming lawsuits and the way a huge majority of people feel about her I can't see her ever finding and then holding onto any job. If our greedy, immoral media (Hollywood) gets the chance to make money by telling little Caylee's tragic story, she may receive temporary funds but even that is questionable given the call by so many to boycott any project that might be done. Though we all did click on, read then comment on this article so maybe it would gain some attention. I cannot believe however that it would be substantial or last very long. That is my hope anyway.

This entire thing disturbs me it always has and this is twice her name has come up in as many weeks. The fact that the appeals court struck down two of her lying convictions and now this. Our current society/system isn't working and it scares the hell out of me.

you can't stiff the IRS, they will have thier money. And if she does get her chapter 7 bankruptcy then she will not be able to avoid the lawsuits for atleast the number of years it takes to be clean of this bankruptcy (not sure if it's 7 or 10 years )

Kathy Brown--Actually it i good that she is doing it now. The only one she is cheating is the lawyer. Bankrupcy does not discharge anything that she owes the government Especially the Fed govt. Also if this is settled and THEN the lawsuits are settled they are after the bankruptcy and not included. You can only file bankeuptcy once every 7 years. The news said they dumped the charges because when she lied on those occasions she thought she was under arrest and they did not read her her rights before making the statements.

She will file for bankruptcy because she has no way of paying the fees that have been levied against her.

Once the Bankrupcy is granted she will walk away from all of the debt except for the IRS. She will then make her book and movie deal, pay off the IRS and live a comfortable quiet life somewhere never having to work again.

                                                      Bet.

Prosecuter always go for the jugular when they should focus on what they can actually PROVE. For them it's about a conviction rate. In this case they FAILED miserably.

Sorry people if she names the plaintiffs in the civil lawsuits the possible debts are discharged forever. She can not discharge the IRS debt no matter what. And why do you say her Scum lawyer? All he did was do his job. Would you want your lawyer who is defending you or your child prejudge you and not do his best job? I think not.

Look, Bankruptcy isn't as sijmple as just filling out a form and having all your debtors wiped clean forever, so you don't know what you're talking about. If someone files for bankruptcy, they have to take a financial managment course, and then they have to TRY to arrange a payment schedule with their debtors. THey are assigned a trustee to handle their money and all that...but besides that, there seem to be SO many ignorant, lazy, gullible people just believe anything that someone posts on the internet. ITS MISINFORMATION, BEING FED TO YOU TO GET HITS, NOTHING MORE. THE CASEY ANTHONY FROM THE TRIAL OF THE DEATH OF CAYLEE DID"T FILE FOR BANKRUPTCY. FALSE.

She didnt kill the kid, she drowned in the pool then she or her dad taped-up the kids mouth and nose (so bugs wouldnt crawl in) and put her in the swamp area.

of course she owes a astronomical amount of money. that will always be a given. look at all the court dates and lawyers and departments involved. why advertize yet humiliate here yet again. granted we dont know if this story is true. but let it go and let her live her life. mind your own business and dont give a damn if the story doesn't directly affect your life other than a emotional state. do you have 3 quaters of a million dollars? no. so let it be..

Anyone with an IQ north of room temperature knows that if their child accidentally drown in the back yard pool , they would not elect to put tape over her mouth and set off for the nearest swamp to abandon the body of the innocent child they loved to be devoured by wild animals.

I love seeing all the Casey supporters here - shows just how dumb society has become. Just because 12 imbeciles found this b*&ch not guilt doesn't mean she didn't do it.

She owes taxes (I'm only guessing here) because she got paid money by networks (ABC if I recall was one) back before her trial for stories or they paid part of her fees, I forget exactly what. But it must have been counted as income. Maybe she tried to use Caylee as a deduction.

Seriously people, it won't be from me, but this girl has it coming to her. Too many people hate her for her to last long.

You can't. You can't clear child support that way either. What I want to know is how can she owe the IRS almost 70K. Against what income does she owe this money?

My guess would be the photos she sold of Caylee for $200k in order to pay for her defense.

All that information about here "owing" the organization that did the search for Caylee...she doesn't owe that, because she hasn't gone to court and lost a judgment yet. (and she'd never lose a lawsuit like that, because she didn't ask them to search for Caylee, they just did it on their own, and that would be a horrible precident to start, because so many lost child cases are very similar.)

It's not even a true story. There was a Casy R. Anthony that filed for chapter 7 last week, but it was in Virginia, and the amounts were completely different. Bogus story...don't believe the nonsense.

At least according to her and Jose, Caylee was not murdered. Instead of telling the truth, she made up all kinds of crap and now can't pay for it. Who would ever hire her for a job? The jury did not convict her, but the court of public opinion has. Florida seems to be the state that is the most lenient on these blood suckers. She'll probably get away with bankruptcy too.

Since it's unlikely anyone would hire her, she'd at least have a roof over her head! As for the debt to Baez ... glad to see he'll get nothing further from her but he'll still come out ahead because of the books, interviews, etc.! But, if discharged in bankruptcy, she'll still owe the IRS and, hopefully, if a discharge is granted, it will be granted conditionally - that ANY money she receives as a result of the murder of her daughter, i.e., future book deals, movie deals, etc. - will be seized and paid to those "creditors" that expended funds searching for that poor little girl!

I couldn't find any bankruptcy petitions filed in 2013 other than Casey R. Anthony, and it was filed in Virginia, not Florida, and the amounts were all different. SOme of the amounts of the Bankruptcy Petition I found were student loans, and you know that bitch didn't get no student loans..,.

I am in no way taking up for anyone here, however why murder her now? Everyone has been so quick to judge. has anyone ever thought maybe she did drown in that pool and maybe Casey got scared. Maybe she used tape because she was scared and wanted someone to think it was murder if she was found.
Either way the Gonzales lady needs to be suing alot of other people besided Casey Anthony. If she was fired or kicked out of her apartment why??? They police were only questioning her. Every one assumed Casey was guilty from the beginning. I dont believe Mrs Gonazlez one bit. Now given that I think every has had their conclusion thirty seconds into finding out. Why should Casey Anthony care what anyone thinks about her or how she feels about the judicial system. She could have been innocent the whole time, noone gave her an inch.

Caylee drowns in the pool -accidentaly- and they think, hmm "let's tape her mouth, drive her around in the trunk of a car for days and toss her in the woods for the vultures to devour???" THEN, lie for months, make up outrageous lies with fabricated people, lead the police on wild goose chases THEN claim it an accidental drowning?? What planet are you from. Same one as those jurors apparently.

I really don't care if the lawyer gets paid of not but for the state agencies I am sure they can find enough public restrooms for her to scrub and streets for her to sweep ... she should have to work off every penny of the debt ...

She's had shelter, food, clothes, internet access, legal services and I understand she adopted a dog that has to be fed. Also she has security. Where is this money coming from? Why didn't her lawyers provide her free services since they defended an "innocent" person? They should write off these fees. As for the IRS, we know that can't be dismissed in bankruptcy. As for the other debtors, good luck collecting. Those debts will probably be erased in court.
