This is a tragic incident and nobody won anything. You have a man that apparently was forced out of his job because of the racism that run throughout the LAPD. They have had racial issues within their department for many years. Unfortunately it seemed never to had been addresses or handled properly. Mr. Doner was a victim to their system. He did not use the right solution to solve his problem. Instead of being part of the solution he became a bigger problem. If he wanted to clear his name the methods were definitely wrong. He became a domestic terrorist. The killing of innocent people outweighed anything to clear his name. There were a lot of errors made that lead to this diaster. The mishandling of the orginal issues started Mr. Doner's decline. Once he took the law into his own hands there was no hope to ever right the wrong that had been committed against him. He knew the outcome of his actions and had a premediated plan. The only thing he accomplished was to expose the LAPD racism.

To immoralize Michael Doner in any fashion is wrong. He was a murderer and he made his choice when he killed the first two people. He knew he awoke a sleeping giant when he murdered the police officers. His death was by his own hand. He started out as a victim of a social prejudices and then became the aggressor. When it was all said and done he was dead and the problems still remain. The lost of innoncent lives are the ones to remembered not the murderer.

It's a terrible thing to believe in justice, fairness, equality, and people wink and nod at one another while they deny you justice, excuse the real criminals, and place the blame on you. The police were never trying to arrest Donor. They wanted to make an example like they have done for ever. You don't F#$@ with the police. They get away with murdering people first and fore most. The fact this all started over a police brutality case is another important part. He took a stand because a police woman beat a mentally ill homeless man. He reported her and because the brother hood of police doesn't like it when you turn on a fellow cop no matter what. Look at the CHP that gave a local cop a speeding ticket.
The CHP got in trouble for doing what is right. Just cause your a cop doesn't mean you should have impunity from the law. Which ironically enough is the same point they tried to say about Donor. Then there's the innocent people shot at by police thinking it was Donor like the Two women delivering newspapers. Didn't they just open fire on them with no reasoning? In a suburban neighborhood.
Then the there's this manifesto which over the last two weeks keeps changing in size. It started as a 5,000 word, then 6,000, then 11,000, and now 11,400. He must have been updating or it was released to get people to turn on Donor. The thing is when he took hostages he always and I'm quoting " I don't want to hurt you " When he car jacked that guy. Those were his words while trying to ditch a cop on him.
Mind you the cop open fire the minute he saw donor car jack the man. Who's the one that sounds like there trying to be a killer in that exchange? History is written by the victors! The truth is also! I question the fact Donor is this killer or horrible person. To be honest it looks like it's the other way around. Then there's the lack of effort to arrest him.
They have him pinned in a cabin, surrounded, exchange of gun fire, and there call is to wait him out. Now they could have done the SAME thing with out incendery ammo. I'm willing to bet from the look of everything as a whole they either suicide him and burn him or killed him and burned him. Just like Donor did with the truck burn away the evidence to be used against him later.
This was an organized assassination to a rather large degree. There were more then a couple cops trying to flat out kill him. In my old town that I left recently the police there shot and killed two people in different exchanges and it was labeled justified. First was a scum bag named Phillip Oliver. Don't get me wrong he was a POS! His second to last act was beating up his mother. The GPD shows up and the cop that had a chip on his shoulder towards oliver for years...... looks through his sideyard window trying to get access to the house for a domestic call.

Quoted this in court too " Saw he was unarmed nothing in his hands " then he here's a loud bang * he thought it was a gun shot * It was the front screen door as police tried to talk him to the door. So then Oliver does the first messed up thing to his mom. Die infront of her. The cop shot him twice in the chest center mass.
The police rush in and put their knee into his chest to cuff him. Two fatal gun shot wounds to the chest and they feel the need to put their knee on his wounds and cuff him. He was dead before the cop stood up. The other was a 16 year old kid that attempted to rob my favorite coffee shop. He was armed with a hammer he used to get through the window and open the register. The police officer got the surprise drop on him and the kid turned to run. The cop gunned him down in the store. Back turned to him attempting to run cuz he was a 16 year old kid that had a loaded gun pulled on him.
Yea I'm sure feel safe thinking these things, but it's reality and these are the people WE let continue on in this fashion. This exact thing has been going on since we had police. It's called the abuse of power! Truck drivers get double to triple the fines for road violations. Because there suppose to know better. Then there was a cop that killed multiple people and then murdered someone. His comment to the issue " I was suppose ot have my physic evaluation but never did. " I'm not saying Donor was innocent and not guilty of anything, but all the facts in this case bring me to question EVERYTHING there doing and saying. Actions speak louder then words.

Just another "black injustice" claimed by black people. No matter the crime, be it murder, child molestation, assault of police officers or a myriad of other serious offenses, the outpouring of support for these criminals from the black community is shameful. Although, this was a small protest but there should not have been one at all. Second, if he really wanted to get people he would found a way to get close to any of the people. As it is it appears he was at that cabin the whole time. That tells me that while he was angry he was going to settle for killing anyone.

Dorner was wrong in what he did, and deserved to either face justice or die. However, there needs to be a full independent investigation into the events surrounding and involved with this situation. The fact that police fired on three innocent citizens who were minding their own business and just carrying on as usual, two of which were women and one of those was a 71 year old shot in the back twice, indicates something really rotten in that police department. Police officer's lives are on the line every day while they are carrying out their duties, so that day should have not been different enough for them to be so agitated that they would make "mistakes" like that. It's their job to follow procedure , check facts and utilize a high level of discernment in tense situations. There were over one hundred rounds fired at the vehicle, which was a different make model and color, with the two women inside, who were not even warned or given the chance to surrender. Anybody who says the women were somehow at fault for driving with their headlight off is a moron. Lot's of newspaper carriers drive with their lights off or dimmed. If the police officers were to upset to notice they were about to fire on a completely different vehicle and license plate than those of the suspect, maybe the pile of newspapers in the back of the pickup being thrown by two older Hispanic ladies should have been a clue. Justice needs to prevail all the way across the board here, and I don't mean the inevitable payoffs to keep the victims from filing charges.

Only did 4 years, got out and less than a year later murdered a drug dealer. Now he's doing life. What was ironic was many liberals defended Williams by saying that he had been the victim of racism his entire life. He was 20 years old when he assaulted Denny. From my best recollection segragation was not an issue, he was born in the 80's so just what was the racism he faced?
