When my son was 13, I heard him listening to rap. The lyrics were racial, violent, anti social and abusive to women. Whether you believe it or not, it has permeated our society and brought us all down to the level of the environment we have allowed.

It is no longer allowed in my home, and if I were to hear it, I would not again.

You would be surprised how many white kids listen to it. The school my kids go to is around 70% white and you can't walk into the school without hearing the crap.

For starters: Considering most people use E-mail than regular Snail Mail, the lower usage has contributed to lower profits. That is why Stamps are at $0.45 now.

Secondly: The USPS has the worst organization skills. Considering how much mail is lost each year, is it any wonder people go to Fed Ex or UPS rather than the USPS?

Finally: The USPS has the rudest customer service this side of India. USPS employees can be as rude as they want to you and they can't get fired over it. Not to mention the USPS gave us the phrase "going Postal" when some nut bag shoots up a business/place.

I have long advocated that we require work in exchange for govt assistance - and that work can be put on a resume, so when they try to get real jobs...they have real work experience, which is a HUGE KEY to getting better and better jobs.

People who work for what they get look at the world differently, and tend to have a lot more self-respect.

Also, i'd suggest that if someone keeps having kids they cant take care of and keeps turing to the govt for help, instead of helping the adult - we help the child.

The only way to do that is to remove the child from their parents...permanently.

I would suggest boarding-style schools, where the kids can grow up in a positive environment focused on education and becoming productive members of society.

It might sound harsh, but someone has to take care of those kids...

There is no right to healthcare, marriage (gay or straight), postal service, or citizenship for illegals. It isn't there not a word. BUT, the one thing you DO mention that is a right guaranteed by the Constitution is the right to keep and bear arms, which you speak out AGAINST! A little lesson on welfare in this country. WE spent nearly a trillion dollars last year on welfare and healthcare for welfare.

Last year a woman in MN was complaining that because of the government shutdown, she was not receiving her child care payments. $3.400 a month or $40,800 a year for her five kids by five different fathers who were not paying for their progeny. Unless I am mistaken, that income alone makes her middle class. Besides the fact that the payments were made to her mother, in the same home that she lived. This did not include any other payments for food stamps housing assistance or any other program.

Last year I was working on a home on a lake. The lady of the house was complaining about a couple that moved in two houses down from them with their five kids. She stated that they were continually out in the street fighting for all to see and their kids were unkept and thugs. These people moved into a home on a lake on section eight.

I have a cousin that was receiving child care credit, food stamps, welfare payments, and housing assistance, for her three kids by three different dads. The whole time she was living with a millionaire and making over $100,000 in cash a year. A family disappointment, total white trailer trash.

So before you state that there is not abuse in all of it, perhaps you should know some truth that people refuse to accept. It is not only the government that is corrupt, but society.
