Josh Romney, son of former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, said in a tweet on Friday that he saved four people after a car accident and included a photo of himself standing next to what appeared to be an overturned vehicle inside a house.
"Was first on scene to big accident, see pic of car in the house. I lifted 4 people out to safety. All ok. Thankful.", the tweet read.

Romney, who lives in Utah, told NBC News he was driving his family home from Thanksgiving dinner when the car sped by, went through an intersection, and into a home across the street.
"I drove to the accident site and entered the home where the car had come to a stop on its side," Romney said in a statement. "I opened the driver side door and spoke with the four passengers inside the car. Miraculously, they appeared to have no major injuries. I was able to help each of them get out of the car and lift them down to the ground. "
Lt. Justin Hoyal, spokesman for the Unified Police of Greater Salt Lake, told NBC News that when police arrived Romney was in the house helping a 44-year-old male driver out of the wrecked Subaru.
Hoyal said Romney had helped remove a woman and two children from the car and onto the front yard of the home before helping the driver.
According to NBC affiliate KSL, this is the second time a car has slammed into the home, which seems to be at a precarious curve in the road. The sheriff called it a "miracle" that no one was injured.
This wouldn't be the first time a Romney found himself in the right place at the right time for heroics.
In 2007, Josh and his brother Craig helped their father rescue a family of capsized boaters in New Hampshire's Lake Winnipesaukee.
Josh Romney described that rescue in a local news report: "We heard a whole bunch of screaming ... We tore out of there and my dad hopped on the other Jet Ski and came out right after us."
"We were just lucky to be in the right place," he said at the time. "We did what anyone else would have done."
Hoyal could not verify whether or not Romney was the first person on the scene and said that “there were other witnesses that were there as well.”
The four individuals in the accident suffered minor injuries and were not transported to an area hospital.
Hoyal said the investigation is ongoing. He posited that a health emergency may have caused the accident.
NBC's Simon Moya-Smith contributed to this report.
