MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry apologized Tuesday for a segment in which panelists joked about a photo of Mitt Romney with his family, including an adopted black grandchild.
The program, which aired Sunday, drew criticism, and Harris-Perry said that while her intent was to celebrate diversity, the result was "offensive."
