A dozen New York City cops pulled off a herculean feat early Sunday morning when they lifted a taxicab off a man who had been struck by the car in the city's South Bronx neighborhood.
A video recorded at the scene shows the able-bodied cops hoisting the four-door sedan off the ground so emergency workers could pull the unidentified victim from underneath the wheels shortly after 2:30 a.m.
The victim was taken to the hospital in cardiac arrest, and he remains in critical condition, ABC 7 reported. Police have not charged the driver of the taxi.
